The simulations are carried out with Symanzik-improved gauge action and Asqtad fermion action on a lattice 12^3×4 at quark mass am = 0.010. At the imaginary chemical potentials aμ1 = 0.050, 0.150, 0.200, 0.225 and 0.250, we investigate the chiral condensate ψψ, plaquette variable P and imaginary part of Polyakov loop Im(L) and their susceptibilities. Analytic continuation from an imaginary chemical potential to a real one is used to obtain the expression for transition temperature as a function of the chemical potential. By applying qua...The structural behavior of mechanically lined pipes (MLPs) during the spooling-on phase is investigated in this paper, motivated by their promising offshore applications relying on reel installation. By applying quasi 2D models, we first investigated the gripping stresses preserved in the MLP after the hydraulic expansion manufacturing process and the detachment of the liner under spooling-on curvatures. Furthermore, a comparative 3D finite element (FE) analysis for the liner wrinkling behaviors of MLP with different wall thicknesses of outer layers was performed and indicated that when the wall thickness of outer layer increases from 14.3 mm to 17.9 mm, MLP's critical spooling-on curvature increased more than 47%, reachin0.1432 rdd/m.展开更多
The proton distribution in inner radiation belt is often affected by strong geomagnetic storm disturbance.Based on the data of the sun-synchronous CSES satellite,which carries with several high energy particle payload...The proton distribution in inner radiation belt is often affected by strong geomagnetic storm disturbance.Based on the data of the sun-synchronous CSES satellite,which carries with several high energy particle payloads and was launched in February 2018,we analyzed the extensive proton variations in the inner radiation belt in a wide energy range of 2 MeV-220 MeV during 2018 major geomagnetic storm.The result indicates that the loss mechanism of protons was energy dependence which is consistent with some previous studies.For protons at low energy 2 MeV-20 MeV,the fluxes were decreased during main phase of the storm and did not come back quickly during the recovery phase,which is likely to be caused by Coulomb collision due to neutral atmosphere density variation.At higher energy 30 MeV-100 MeV,it was confirmed that the magnetic field line curvature scattering plays a significant role in the proton loss phenomenon during this storm.At highest energies>100 MeV,the fluxes of protons kept a stable level and did not exhibit a significant loss during this storm.展开更多

Using the Frenet frame of the given line of curvature in Minkowski 3-space, we express the surface pencil as a linear combination of this frame and derive the necessary and sufficient conditions for the coefficients to satisfy the line of curvature requirement. We illustrate this method by presenting some examples.展开更多
