This basic measurement is often applied in exploitation evaluation, but the underground conditions with high temperature and pressure, and the phase equilibrium of oil and gas, are not taken into consideration when the relative permeability curve is tested. There is an important theoretical and practical sense in testing the diphase relative permeability curve of the equilibrium of oil and gas under the conditions of high temperature and pressure. The test method for the relative permeability curve is proposed in this paper. The relative permeability of the equilibrium of oil and gas and the standard one are tested in two fluids, and the differences between these two methods are stated. The research results can be applied to the simulation and prediction of CVD in long cores and then the phenomenon can better explain that the recovery of condensate gas rich in condensate oil is higher than that of CVD test in PVT. Meanwhile, the research shows that the relative permeability curve of equilibrium oil and gas is sensitive to the rate of exploitation, and the viewpoint proves that an improved gas recovery rate can properly increase the recovery of condensate oil.展开更多

In the first stage of this work, the stability of silica nanoparticles in different range of water salinity(0–100000 mg·L-1) is investigated. Next, stable nanofluid containing highest salinity is selected as asphaltene inhibitor agent to inject into the damaged core sample. The estimated values of oil recovery for base case, after damage process and after inhibition of asphaltene precipitation using nanofluid are 51.6%, 36.1% and 46.7%, respectively. The results showed the reduction in core damage after using nanofluid. In addition, the relative permeability curves are plotted for the base case, after damage process and also after inhibition of asphaltene precipitation using nanofluid. Comparison of relative permeability curves shows, relative permeability of oil phase decreased after damage process as compared with the base case. But after using nanofluid the oil relative permeability curve has shifted to the right and effective permeability of oil phase has been improved.展开更多

Repetitive NX size rock core up to 5.0 m depth were taken from side wall and face with triple tube core barrel drill. CR (core recovery) and RQD (rock quality designation) of the rock cores is computed to evaluate effect of blasting on the surrounding rock mass. RQD and CR values for the initial one meter from the line of excavation in each case reflect maximum damage due to blast. RQD for initial one meter reduced to as high as 40% of the average RQD. The rock samples were also tested using ultrasonic techniques. Ultrasonic tests on NX size core reveal that the 2.0 m of the zone surrounding the opening are adversely affected by the tunnel excavation blasting process. The ultrasonic velocities reduce to approx. 80% of the average values in the initial 0.5 m from the excavation line.展开更多
