Decision-making is the act of choosing between two or more courses of action. In the wider process of problem-solving, decision-making involves choosing between possible solutions to a problem, and these decisions can be made through either an intuitive or reasoned process, or a combination of the two. The study of decision-making processes, to be understood as the role of human factors, becomes particularly interesting in complex organizations. This research aims to analyze how an effective team, within organizations, can develop a more correct and effective decision-making, in order to get an optimal solution, overcoming the typical uncertainty. The paper describes the point of departure of decision in complex, time-pressured, uncertain, ambiguous and changing environments. The use of a leading case (the Tenerife air accident, 1977), will lead us to the desired results, </span><i><span style="font-family:Verdana;">i</span></i><span style="font-family:Verdana;">.</span><i><span style="font-family:Verdana;">e</span></i><span style="font-family:Verdana;">. to demonstrate how an effective decisional process, including team dynamics, can be useful to reduce the risk, present in all decisions, and reduce errors. The case of Tenerife air disaster, confirm our research. In that case, in fact, the group dynamics prove not to have worked. Thus, we can state that if a team approach had been followed instead of a more individual one, the results would probably have been different. The central belief of the research, is that classic decision theory could benefit from a team approach, which reduces the risk that a decision may lead to undesirable consequences. As demonstrated with the case study, within organizations, the decision-making is not a solitary action. Decisions, in fact, are made within a team and in order to be able to function effectively in a group, and manage group situations, there are essential skills. The prevailing coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic has challenged our lives in an unprecedented manner.The pandemic has had a significant impact on transplantation worldwide.The logistics of travel restrictions,stretchi...The prevailing coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic has challenged our lives in an unprecedented manner.The pandemic has had a significant impact on transplantation worldwide.The logistics of travel restrictions,stretching of available resources,unclear risk of infection in immunosuppressed transplant recipients,and evolving guidelines on testing and transplantation are some of the factors that have unfavourably influenced transplant activity.We must begin to build organisational flexibility in order to restart transplantation so that we can be mindful stewards of organ donation and sincere advocates for our patients.Building a culture of honesty and transparency(with patients,families,colleagues,societies,and authorities),keeping the channels of communication open,working in collaboration with others(at local,regional,national,and international levels),and not restarting without rethinking and appraising all elements of our practice,are the main underlying principles to increase the flexibility.展开更多
目的系统整合影响脑死亡患者家属器官捐献心理因素的质性研究,为医护人员对家属进行适当的心理干预提供参考依据。方法检索中国知网、维普、万方、中国生物医学文献数据库、PubMed、Web of science、Embase、Cochrane Library、Medline...目的系统整合影响脑死亡患者家属器官捐献心理因素的质性研究,为医护人员对家属进行适当的心理干预提供参考依据。方法检索中国知网、维普、万方、中国生物医学文献数据库、PubMed、Web of science、Embase、Cochrane Library、Medline数据库中有关影响脑死亡患者家属器官捐献心理因素的质性研究,检索时限为建库至2023年9月,使用JBI循环卫生保健中心的质性研究评价工具(2016版)对纳入的文献进行质量评价,采用Meta整合方法对结果进行整合。结果共纳入8篇文献,提炼出52个研究结果,归纳成8个新类别,综合合成4个整合结果:同意捐献器官的原因;存在矛盾心理以及负性情绪;积极情绪和促进因素;渴望相关信息支持,期望家人和社会的支持。结论器官捐献者家属在决策过程中会经历一个复杂的心理体验,医护人员应重点关注器官捐献者家属的心理变化,为器官捐献者家属提供针对性的心理护理。展开更多
Context:Decentralized autonomous organizations are a new form of smart contract-based governance.Decentralized autonomous organization platforms,which support the creation of such organizations,are becoming increasing...Context:Decentralized autonomous organizations are a new form of smart contract-based governance.Decentralized autonomous organization platforms,which support the creation of such organizations,are becoming increasingly popular,such as Aragon and Colony.Selecting the best fitting platform is challenging for organizations,as a significant number of decision criteria,such as popularity,developer availability,governance issues and consistent documentation of such platforms,should be considered.Additionally,decision-makers at the organizations are not experts in every domain,so they must continuously acquire volatile knowledge regarding such platforms.Objective:Supporting decision-makers in selecting the right decentralized autonomous organization platforms by designing an effective decision model is the main objective of this study.We aim to provide more insight into their selection process and reduce time and effort significantly by designing a decision model.Method:This study presents a decision model for the decentralized autonomous organization platform selection problem.The decision model captures knowledge regarding such platforms and concepts systematically.This model is based on an existing theoretical framework that assists software engineers with a set of multi-criteria decision-making problems in software production.Results:We conducted three industry case studies in the context of three decentralized autonomous organizations to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the decision model in assisting decision-makers.The case study participants declared that the decision model provides significantly more insight into their selection process and reduces time and effort.Conclusion:We observe in the empirical evidence from the case studies that decision-makers can make more rational,efficient,and effective decisions with the decision model.Furthermore,the reusable form of the captured knowledge regarding decentralized autonomous organization platforms can be employed by other researchers in their future investigations.展开更多
