Up to now,The Iconography of the Decorated Writing-Paper of the Ten Bamboo Studio(shortened as Iconography)is the first large-scale book to systematically study and interpret the notes and pictures of The Decorated Writing-Paper of the Ten Bamboo Studio(shortened as Ten Bamboo).The Iconography explains the sources and interpretations of 123 paintings in 15 groups.The content covers the celebrities and historical allusions of Tessa in the past dynasties,in which there are many nicknames that are full of Chinese characteristics.This paper takes the English translation of characters’nicknames in Iconography as the research object.Through the research,it is found that the translation of these characters’nicknames mainly adopts the methods of transliteration,explanation,literal translation with annotations and free translation.Through the analysis of specific cases,this paper tries to make the translation meet the reading expectation of the target readers to the maximum extent,and provide reference for the English translation of related classical works. 展开更多

This paper reports a simple and efficient chemical method to decorate multi-walled carbon nano- tubes(MWCNTs) with iron oxide nanoparticles. The TEM, FTIR, Raman and UV analysis demonstrate that iron oxide nanoparticles were well deposited on the outer walls of MWCNTs. The size of the nanoparticles ranges from 30 to 50 nm. The sorption property of MWCNTs/Fe3O4 composites for the removal of 2,4-dichlorophenol(2,4-DCP) and Cu2+ ions from aqueous solution was explored. The results present that MWCNTs decorated with Fe3O4 possessed higher sorption capability for removing 2,4-DCP and Cu2+ ions, which favour the highly potential applications for pollutants removal from water. 展开更多

The construction of efficient and durable electrocatalysts with highly dispersed metal clusters and hydrophilic surface for alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)remains a great challenge.Herein,we prepared hydrophilic nanocomposites of Ru clusters(~1.30 nm)anchored on Na^(+),K^(+)-decorated porous carbon(Ru/Na^(+),K^(+)-PC)through hydrothermal method and subsequent annealing treatment at 500℃.The Ru/Na^(+),K^(+)-PC exhibits ultralow overpotential of 7 mV at 10 mA·cm^(-2),mass activity of 15.7 A·mgRu^(-1)at 100 mV,and long-term durability of 20,000 cycles potential cycling and 200 h chronopotentiometric measurement with a negligible decrease in activity,much superior to benchmarked commercial Pt/C.Density functional theory based calculations show that the energy barrier of H-OH bond breaking is efficiently reduced due to the presence of Na and K ions,thus favoring the Volmer step.Furthermore,the Ru/Na^(+),K^(+)-PC effectively employs solar energy for obtaining H_(2)in both alkaline water and seawater electrolyzer.This finding provides a new strategy to construct high-performance and cost-effective alkaline HER electrocatalyst. 展开更多

Electrochemical N2 reduction offers a promising alternative to the Haber-Bosch process for sustainable NH3 synthesis at ambient conditions,but it needs efficient catalysts for the N2 reduction reaction(NRR).Here,we report that FeOOH quantum dots decorated graphene sheet acts as a superior catalyst toward enhanced electrocatalytic N2 reduction to NH3 under ambient conditions.In 0.1 M LiClO4,this hybrid attains a large NH3 yield rate and a high Faradaic efficiency of 27.3µg·h^−1·mg−1cat.and 14.6%at−0.4 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode,respectively,rivalling the current efficiency of all Fe-based NRR electrocatalysts in aqueous media.It also shows strong durability during the electrolytic process. 展开更多

Ocular drug delivery remains a significant challenge that is limited by poor corneal retention and permeation,resulting in low ocular bioavailability(<5%).Worse still,the most convenient and safe route of ocular drug administration,topical administration results in a drug bioavailability of less than 1%.iRGD modified drug delivery strategies have been developed for cancer therapy,however active targeting iRGD platforms for ocular drug delivery have yet to be explored.Herein,an iRGD modified liposomes was developed for ocular drug delivery via topical administration.The results indicated that iRGD modified liposomes could prolong the corneal retention time and enhance corneal permeability in an iRGD receptor mediated manner.These findings provided a novel strategy for topical ocular drug delivery for the treatment of posterior ocular diseases. 展开更多

This study aims to investigate the feasibility of using decoration waste powder(DWP)as a partial replacement for fly ash(FA)in the preparation of geopolymer masonry mortar,and to examine the effect of different DWP replacement rates(0%-40%)on the fresh and mechanical properties of the mortar.The results showed that each group of geopolymer masonry mortar exhibited excellent water retention performance,with a water retention rate of 100%,which was due to the unique geopolymer mortar system and high viscosity of the alkaline activator solution.Compared to the control group,the flowability of the mortar containing lower contents of DWP(10%and 20%)was higher.However,as the DWP replacement rate further increased,the flowability gradually decreased.The DWP could absorb the free water in the reaction system of geopolymer mortar,thereby limiting the occurrence of geopolymerization reaction.The incorporation of DWP in the mortar resulted in a decrease in compressive strength compared to the mortar without DWP.However,even at a replacement rate of 40%,the compressive strength of the mortar still exceeded 15 MPa,which met the requirements of the masonry mortar.It was feasible to use DWP in the geopolymer masonry mortar.Although the addition of DWP caused some performance loss,it did not affect its usability. 展开更多

Nickel oxide nanoparticles decorated carbon nanotube nanocomposites (NiO.CNT NCs) were prepared in a basic medium by using facile wet-chemical routes. The optical, morphological, and structural properties of NiO.CNT NCs were characterized using Fourier transformed infra-red (FT-IR), Ultra-violet visible (UV/Vis) spectroscopy, field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), X-ray energy dispersed spectroscopy (XEDS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) methods. Selective 4-aminophenol (4-AP) chemical sensor was developed by a fiat glassy carbon electrode (GCE, surface area: 0.0316 cm2) fabricated with a thin-layer of NCs. Electrochemical responses including higher sensitivity, large dynamic range (LDR), limit of detection (LOD), and long-term stability towards 4-AP were obtained using the fabricated chemical sensors. The calibration curve was found linear (R2 = 0.914) over a wide range of 4-AP concentration (0.1 nmol/L-0.1 tool/L). In perspective of slope (2 x 10.5 gA/gM), LOD and sensitivity were calculated as 15.0 + 0.1 pM and -6.33 - 10.4 gA/(gM.cm) respectively. The synthesized NiO.CNT NCs using a wet-chemical method is a significant route for the development of ultrasensitive and selective phenolic sensor based on nano-materials for environmental toxic substances. It is suggested that a pioneer and selective development of 4-AP sensitive sensor using Ni0.CNT NCs by a facile and reliable current us voltage (I-V) method for the major application of toxic agents in biological, green environmental, and health-care fields in near future. 展开更多

Seed germination (in laboratory and field conditions) and vegetative reproduction (by cuttings) of a promising decorative species—Lonicera tatarica L. (Caprifoliaceae Juss.) was studied for the first time in the conditions of introduction of the Tashkent Botanical Garden of Uzbekistan. Thus, the optimal temperature for germination of L. tatarica seeds in laboratory conditions is +20°C + 22°C, at which germination was 73%. The germination rate of seeds sown in autumn in the field was 62%, and the germination rate of seeds sown in spring was 71%. It was noted that in greenhouse conditions at an air temperature of 20°C - 22°C and a relative humidity of 49% - 53%, the rootability of cuttings was 75%. It was revealed that the studied species adapted well to the conditions of introduction. Taking into account the effectiveness of vegetative reproduction of L. tatarica, it can be recommended for improving the aesthetic condition and landscaping of cities, landscaping and landscape design. 展开更多
