The proposed ESD protection device possesses an ESD implant and a floating structure. This improvement enhances the current discharge capability of the gate-grounded NMOS and weakens the current gain of the silicon-controlled rectifier current path. According to the simulation results, the proposed device retains a low trigger voltage characteristic of LVTSCRs and simultaneously increases the holding voltage to 5.53 V, providing an effective way to meet the ESD protection requirement of the 5 V CMOS process.展开更多

Methods:Human atrial myocytes were isolated by enzyme dispersion method. IKur, in human atrial myocytes were recorded by using the whole cell patch clamp. The changes of IKur were compared in the absence and the presence of sodium ferulate. Results:There was no effect of 0.4 g/L sodium ferulate on I-V relation of IKur. However, 0.4 g/L sodium ferulate inhibited IKur to some degrees at each test pulse. The current densities of IKur at +60 mV decreased from 4.997 ± 0.35 PA/PF to 3.331 ± 0.26 PA/PF(n = 6, P 〈 0.05). The inhibitory effect was concentration-dependent. IC50 was(0.41 ±0.03)g/L and the Hill coefficient was 0.95 ± 0.05. Conclusion:Sodium ferulate as a potassium channel blocker can inhibit IKur in human atrial myocytes effectively.展开更多

Myocytes were isolated from regions of the noninfarcted left ventricular free wall. ISO was added to cellular surface by perfusion way. Action potentials and ion currents were recorded with whole-cell patch clamp. Results The results showed that treatment with ISO induced more DADs and TA events in HMI myocytes. Iti and IC,_L of myocytes treated with ISO were increased significantly compared with HMI cells, which contributed to DADs-related triggered arrhythmia. Conclusions The results suggested that more arrhythmia events of DADs and TA developed in myocytes with ISO treatment. The underlying mechanism was associated with the augment of I6 and calcium influxing展开更多

This study aimed at investigating the effects of nervous growth factor (NGF) on delayed afterdepolarizations (DADs) and triggered activity (TA) of the noninfarcted myocardium in the myocardial infarcted rabbit model. Rabbits with the left anterior descending coronary artery occlusion were prepared and recovered for 8 weeks (HMI group, n=9). Other rabbits with myocardial infarction were infused NGF to the left stellate ganglion (HMI+NGF group, 400 U/day for 8 weeks, n=8). Myocytes were isolated from regions of the noninfarcted left ventricular free wall. Action potentials and ion currents were recorded with whole-cell patch clamp. The results showed that more DADs and TA events of HMI+NGF myocytes than that of HMI and Ctrl group. Iti and ICa-L of NGF+HMI myocytes were increased significantly compared with HMI and Ctrl cells, which contributed to DADs-related triggered arrhythmia. Comparing with HM1 and Ctrl myocytes, significant prolongations of APD50 and APD90 in HMI+NGF myocytes were found. The results indicated the electrophysiological change of HMI myocytes with NGF infusion. It suggested that more events of DADs and TA in HMI myocytes with NGF treatment. The underlying mechanism may be involved in the increase of Iti and ICa-L.展开更多

In the paper, three synchronization modes were discussed which were clock synchronization, trigger synchronization, and response synchronization. Synchronous process between LXI instruments was analyzed and each time factor affecting the synchronization accuracy was discussed. On the basis of the analysis,it can be found that delay trigger plays an important role in the network testing system's synchronization. Delay trigger can produce an additional time interval to correct the difference of each LXI instrument's response time. Then,a method to realize the delay trigger was introduced. Delay time can be adjustable according to the actual demand. Finally, synchronization accuracy of network testing system can reach nanoseconds.展开更多

This study was designed to investigate which PKC isozymes mediate down-regulations of IKr by alA-AR and AT1R. Method The whole-cell patch-clamp technique was used to record IKr in native cardio- myocytes and in human embryonic kidney (HEK) 293 cells co-transfected with human ether-a-go-go related gene (hERG) encoding α-subunit of IKr and human alA-AR or AT1R gene. Result In isolated guinea-pig ventricular cardiomyocytes the inhibitory action of Ang II on IKr was little affected by Go6976 (selectively inhibiting PKCα, β and γ) and Go6983 (selectively inhibiting PKCα, β, γ , δ, and ζ), but was significantly antagonized by an inter- nal dialysis with PKCe-selective inhibitory peptide εV1 -2. In contrast, the inhibitory action of alA-AR agonist A61603 on IKr was remarkably attenuated by Go6976 or Go6983, but not affected by peptide εV1 -2. Moreover, specific PKC-selective inhibitory peptide antagonized the effect of A61603. The results suggested that PKCe and PKCα isoform respectively mediated the inhibitory effect of AT1R and a1A-AR. In heterologous expression system, both PKCα and e-selective activator peptides down regulated hERG current with different manner. PKCα activator peptide shifted the activation curve of the channel to the right, but PKCe-selective activator peptide did not. Simi- larly, A61603 shifted the activation curve to the right, whereas Ang Ⅱ had no effect. In addition, both A61603 and PKCα activator peptide showed inhibitory action on bERG A PKC current (an bERG mutant in which 17 of the 18 ROSITE-predicted PKC acceptor serines/threonines were changed to alanine) with a similar potency to wild type bERG current. But, both Ang Ⅱ and PKCe-selective activator peptide exhibited no effects on bERG △ PKC cur- rent. The results indicated that PKCα and PKCe isoforms down-regulated bERG current through different mecha- nism. Conclusion PKCα and PKCe isoform respectively mediates the inhibition on IKr by stimulation of AT1R and alA-AR via different molecular mechanism.展开更多

The results showed that phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA), a PKC activator, caused a concentration-dependent constriction in normal HASM rings. The constriction of the passively sensitized muscle in asthma serum group was significantly higher than that of the normal group (P〈0.05), and the constrictions of both groups were completely abolished by PKC inhibitor Ro31-8220 and calcium channel inhibitor nifedipine. Kv activities of HASM cells were significantly inhibited by PMA, and the Em became more positive, as compared with the DMSO (a PMA menstruum)-treated group (P〈0.01). This effect could be blocked by Ro31-8220 (P〈0.01 ). It was concluded that activation of PKC could increase the tones of HASM, which might be related to the reduced Kv activity. In passively sensitized HASM rings, this effect was more notable.展开更多

In the model, each brick in each cavity is capable of operating with jitter in its switch. Additionally, the manner of triggering cables entering into cavities was considered. The performances of the LTD module operating with three typical cavity-triggering sequences were simulated and the simulation results indicate that switching jitter affects slightly the peak and starting time of the output current pulse. However, the enhancement in switching jitter would significantly lengthen the rise time of the output current pulse. Without considering other factors, a jitter lower than 10 ns may be necessary for the switches in the LTD module to provide output current parameters with an acceptable deviation.展开更多

Time-dependent delayed rectifier K+ outward currents were measured in isolated guinea pig single myocytes using the whole-cell configuration of the patch-clamp technique. Currents were measured in response to 300 ms depolarizing pulses from a holding potential of -40 mV in three experimental protocols [control, isoproterenol (10^(9)mol/L - 10^(-6) mol/L ), and isoproterenol (10^(-9)mol/L - 10^(-6)mol/L ) plus either d, l-Sotalol (10^(-4) mol/L) or d-Sotalol (10^(-4) mol/L)]. IK tail currents were measured upon repolarization to -40 mV. It was found that Ik was significantly amplified in the presence. of isoproterenol (10^(-9) mol/L- 10^(-6) mol/L) plus d-Sotalol. At 10-8 mol/L isoproterenol, Ik was increased by 92. 7%±17. 1 % (P<0. 05) and 54. 3 %±13. 4 % after d-Sotalol addition (P<0. 05). In contrast, d, l-Sotalol completely conteracted the increase of iK by isoproterenol (<10^(-8) mol/L), and compared to control, Ic was decreased by 35. 6 % ±8. 1% at 10^(-8) mol/L isoproterenol plus d, l-Sotalol (P<0. 05). It is concluded that the β-adrenergic blocking property of d, l-Sotalol but not that of dSotalol maintains the delayed rectifier K+ outward current blockade in the presence of isoproterenol in guinea pig myocytes. This might contribute to a superior antiarrhythmic efficacy as compared to d-Sotalol.展开更多

Papaveraceae and has proved to be an- ti-arrhythmic. The purpose of our study is to investigate the effects of ALL on transmural repolarizing ionic ingredients of outward potassium current (Ito) and slow delayed rectifier potassium current (IKs). Methods The monophasic action potential (MAP) technique was used to record the MAP duration of the epicardium (Epi), myocardium (M) and endocardium (Endo) of the rabbit heart and the whole cell patch clamp was used to record/to and IKs in cardiomyocytes of Epi, M and Endo layers that were isolated from rabbit ventricles. Results The effects of ALL on MAP of Epi, M and Endo layers were disequilibrium. ALL could effectively reduce the transmural dispersion of repolarization (TDR) in rabbit transmural ventricular wall. ALL decreased the current densities of/to and IKs in a voltage and concentration dependent way and narrowed the repolarizing differences among three layers. The analysis of gating kinetics showed ALL accelerated the channel activation ofIto in M layers and partly inhibit the channel openings of/to in Epi, M and Endo cells. On the other hand, ALL mainly slowed channel deactivation of IKs channel in Epi and Endo layers without affecting its activation. Conclusions Our study gives partially explanation about the mechanisms of tmnsmural inhibition of/to and IKs channels by ALL in rabbit myocardium. These findings provide novel perspective regarding the anti-arrhythmogenesis application of ALL in clinical settings.展开更多

A sudden static stress change/perturbation in the surrounding crust can advance/ delay the fault instability or failure time and modify earth- quake rates. Based on a simple one-dimensional spring-sli- der block model with the combination of rate-and-state- dependent friction relation, in this study, we have approxi- mately derived the simple analytical solutions of clock advance/delay of fault failures caused by a sudden static Coulomb stress change applied in the different temporal evolution periods during an earthquake faulting. The results have been used in the physics-based explanation of delayed characteristic earthquake in Parkfield region, California, in which the next characteristic earthquake of M 6.0 after 1966 occurred in 2004 instead of around 1988 according to its characteristic return period of 22 years. At the same time, the analytical solutions also indicate that the time advance/ delay in Coulomb stress change derived by the dislocation model has a certain limitation and fundamental flaw. Fur- thermore, we discussed the essential difference between rate- and state-variable constitutive (R-S) model and Coulomb stress model used commonly in current earthquake triggering study, and demonstrated that, in fact, the Coulomb stress model could be involved in the R-S model. The results, we have obtained in this study, could be used in the development of time-dependent fault interaction model and the probability calculation related to the time-dependent and renewal earthquake prediction model.展开更多

The session setup delay and system throughput are employed as the measurement to investigate the performance of ATA and the Serving Call Session Control Punction (S-CSCF). With theoretical analysis and simulation results, we find that, the number of the ASs (Application Servers), the use of the subsequent Filter Criteria (sFC) and the arrival rate have heavy impact on the session setup delay and the S-CSCF is the major bottleneck in IMS network. The results are useful in constructing IMS network. At last, we propose several possible solutions to reduce the session setup delay and decrease the load of the S-CSCF.展开更多

文摘In order to investigate the process of optically triggered discharge formation,a model of ion space-charge formation based on classical plane electrodes and revised for a characteristic hollow-cathode discharge(HCD)configuration is proposed in this paper. The primary modified factor in our model is the penetrating electric-field parameter, which influences the ionization of trigger electrons and is calculated via particle simulation.Optical-trigger experiments are carried out using different voltages and under different seed-electron conditions, provided by two different photocathodes,Cu and Mg.The ion-accumulation rates calculated by our model are compared to the discharge-formation time, which is deduced from optical-trigger experiments. The results demonstrate that the process of positive space-charge formation is dominant in the HCD formation process or trigger delay, which is highly dependent on the seeding-electron density and applied voltage, and can therefore be quantitatively described by our model.Additionally,electron-beam generation is investigated by optically triggered HCD experiments on Mg-and Cu-photocathode-based devices. The results show that a more efficient trigger device is capable of generating an electron beam with higher amplitude and density.

In passively sensitized HASM rings, this effect was more notable.

文摘A whole circuit model of a linear transformer drivers (LTD) module composed of 60 cavities in series was developed in the software PSPICE to study the influence of switching jitter on the operational performances of LTDs. Without considering other factors, a jitter lower than 10 ns may be necessary for the switches in the LTD module to provide output current parameters with an acceptable deviation.
文摘The aim of this study was to compare the effects of d, l-Sotalol and dSotalol on the delayed rectifier K+ outward current in the presence of isoproterenol at different concentrations. This might contribute to a superior antiarrhythmic efficacy as compared to d-Sotalol.
文摘Objective Allocryptopine (ALL) is an effective alkaloid of Corydalis decumbens (Thunb.) Pers. These findings provide novel perspective regarding the anti-arrhythmogenesis application of ALL in clinical settings.
文摘In general, earthquake cycle related to earthquake faulting could include four major processes which could be described by (1) fault locking, (2) self-acceleration or nucleation (possible foreshocks), (3) coseismic slip, and (4) post-stress relaxation and afterslip. The results, we have obtained in this study, could be used in the development of time-dependent fault interaction model and the probability calculation related to the time-dependent and renewal earthquake prediction model.

文摘The modeling of Application Triggering Architecture (ATA) in the IP Multimedia Sub- system (IMS) is presented. At last, we propose several possible solutions to reduce the session setup delay and decrease the load of the S-CSCF.
