As the rapid development of the national small characteristic town,some problems began to show through.For example,the spatial structure is not reasonable,the industrial is not harmonious,and the industrial cluster is not obvious and so on.In order to solve these uncoordinated problems and arrange industrial structure properly,to build the industrial ecologic chain construction according to local conditions appears to be critical.Therefore,constructing industrial ecological chain is of importance in academic aspect and practical significance to sustainable development.According to the theory of industrial ecology,this article researches on industrial ecological chain construction of Gui-An New District's VR town.Otherwise,with the principles of vertical supply-demand chain,horizontal collaboration chain,energy utilization chain,material circulation chain and water cycle chain,on the basis of five elements including public environment,service bake up,demand-supply collaboration,management system in a cloud and resource reuse,this paper put forward the industrial ecological chain model of VR town in Gui-An New District and analyze each links detailedly.The purpose is to explore and analyze the industrial ecological chain construction of VR town in Gui-An New District to abundant domestic related theory about small town and play a certain reference significance on other new-type of characteristic urbanization in mountainous region. 展开更多

Innovative Renewable Energy-Load Management Technology via Controlled Weight Motion

The paper presents an innovative renewable energy-load management technology, which is currently being developed as a prototype, in preparation for potential large-scale implementation in power systems. The new technology employs controlled motion of large weights, which are being maneuvered (up and down) through the system peak/off-peak demand pattern. The load management scheme is similar to the pumping storage systems, but uses large weights instead of water and, therefore, is more suited to the operating environment in Saudi Arabia, in which water is relatively scarce. A portion of the off-peak valley-filling energy is supplied from wind-driven generators, which adds to the green energy component of the scheme. The controlled motion aspect of the new technology is based on partial implementation of previously published ideas by the authors as well as a registered patent. The paper describes the theoretical and analytical features of the introduced renewable energy-load management technology, and dwells on its practical implementation features. 展开更多

The main aim of this paper is to develop an approach based on trapezoidal fuzzy numbers to optimize transportation problem in fuzzy environment.The present algorithm has representation of availability,demand and transportation cost as trapezoidal fuzzy numbers.This algorithm is found quicker in terms of runtime as comparison to fuzzy VAM discussed in[Kaur A.,Kumar A.,A new method for solving fuzzy transportation problem using ranking function,Appl.Math.Model.35:5652–5661,2011;Ismail Mohideen S.,Senthil Kumar P.,A comparative study on transportation problem in fuzzy environment,Int.J.Math.Res.2:151–158,2010].On the other hand this technique gives much better results than some classical methods like north-west corner and least cost method.Another benefit of this algorithm is that for certain transportation problems it directly gives optimal solution.It is one of the simplest methods to apply and perceive.Practical usefulness of the new method over other existing methods is demonstrated with two numerical examples. 展开更多
