Landscape Architecture Planning and Design Based on Landscape Ecology Theory:A Case Study of Waterfront Landscape Planning and Design of Dapo Town

With the rapid development of urbanization,landscape architecture has become an indispensable component of daily life.In order to achieve better landscape effects and protect the ecological environment,landscape ecology theory can be integrated into landscape planning to carry out disciplinary crossing and integration research between landscape ecology and landscape architecture.In this study,based on the basic theories of landscape ecology,the waterfront landscape of Dapo Town was designed,with the aim to achieve ecological balance in planning,showcase biodiversity,and create a harmonious landscape ecological environment which can benefit both nature and people.This design combined artificial and natural elements while improving the natural environment,which promoted a harmonious relationship between humans and nature,thus enriching the spatial organization of the city,and playing a role in regulating the urban environment and climate.

Integrating Salt Culture into Rural Revitalization: Planning and Design of a Thematic Creative Agricultural Garden in Jintan, Jiangsu, China

This research establishes a strategic framework for developing a salt culture-themed agricultural garden in Jintan,Jiangsu to boost rural vibrancy and cultural tourism while honoring local salt heritage.It employs the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)for a data-driven and structured approach to evaluate the sustainability and cultural significance of agricultural initiatives.This framework ensures a balanced blend of agriculture,culture,and tourism to foster a sustainable and culturally rich experience.The study highlights the value of structured methodologies in planning culturally impactful agricultural projects.

Planning and Design of Mountainous Agricultural Sightseeing Garden——a Case Study of Ruimin Agricultural Sightseeing Eco-garden

Agricultural sightseeing project is expanding with social development, yet most are confined in improvements in original gardens, with similar style or pattern. The research took Uupanshui City as an example and analyzed mountain-based ag- ricultural sightseeing in order to discuss the way to propel agriculture integration with leisure tourism, processing, establish new models for sightseeing eco-garden gardens, and benefit economically, socially and ecologically.

Strategies for Introducing Energy Saving Idea into Residential Planning and Design in Urban and Rural Areas of China

Currently,energy saving design has been conducted on single building but not on the whole residential community in urban and rural areas.So,the paper has proposed energy saving measures for residential planning from the perspective of site selection and layout of buildings.Specific measures are as follows.Firstly,buildings should be constructed on the sunny side and leeside;secondly,buildings on the south should be lower than those on the north;the east side of the building should be open while the west side should be closed;thirdly,climate protection unit should be set;fourthly,buildings should be of northsouth direction primarily,and the main room should be set on the east side and the assistant rooms or passage on the west side in the buildings of east-west direction;fifthly,it should select compact and wellarranged households and the units should not be combined in point and dislocation and jointing.

Ecological Restoration and Landscape Construction of Wetland——A Case Study of Planning and Design of Mi River Wetland Park in Linqu of Shandong

Based on geological characteristic of Mi River Wetland Park in Linqu of Shandong,the paper had illustrated historical and cultural spirits of Linqu,and then proposed planning strategies and contents of Mi River Wetland Park.It discussed new approaches for wetland restoration and landscape construction from the perspectives of ecological restoration of wetland system,overall construction of leisure system,and full display of regional characteristic.The construction of wetland system laid stress on water system design,terrain treatment,vegetation construction,and biological diversity creation.Wetland system would be overlaid with leisure system,divided into wetland leisure zone,wetland entertainment zone,humanity landscape zone,wetland science popular zone and wetland experience zone,all of which would be constructed with characteristic respectively.On the basis of site character,the paper had searched an energy balance and substance transformation method between rivers,plants,earth and humans,of certain practicality.

Planning and Design of Sightseeing Agricultural Park Characterized by Mountainous Landscape

After illustration of research and development process of sightseeing agricultural park,the paper had classified sightseeing agricultural park into sightseeing agricultural park,education agricultural park and agricultural garden in terms of development content;into renovation type and newly-built type in accordance with development mode;and into plain type and mountainous type in the light of terrain.From the perspectives of terrain,vegetation,hydrology and ecology,characteristics of landscape resources in mountainous sightseeing agricultural park were analyzed.It proposed principles for planning and design of mountainous sightseeing agricultural park,which were respecting and protecting nature,linking landscape units and coordinating spatial structure,systematicness and protecting inheritance of traditional culture.On this basis,it had illustrated landscape designing theories on architecture and landscape furniture,traffic road,plant greening and water supply and sewerage works.

Park Planning and Design Integrated with Regional Features

Natural environment and historical humanities are the two elements constituting regional features.The construction of urban park should search design language from regional features.The author,taking Dongshan Park in Qianxi County,Hebei Province as an example,discussed how to search local natural environment features,reasonably exploit cultural resources and integrate regional features from the establishment of planning theme to the expression of designing details.

Planning and Design of Agricultural Greenhouse Park

By taking the Agricultural Greenhouse Park in Songjiang District,Tianjin City for an example,the construction principles of this park were introduced,such as "ecological","economic","landscaping","satisfying functional demands","popularization of science" and "organic combination of emotions and plants".The park was divided into 4 parts:"New Agricultural Technology","Vegetable Tree","Southland Orchard" and "Vegetable Bar".Landscape layouts,design schemes and plant furnishings in each garden were respectively analyzed.Functions of the greenhouse park such as popularization of science,recreation and entertainment were highlighted as well as its characteristics of "combining artificial landscapes and hi-new agriculture,integrating art and agriculture",so as to provide practical references for the future planning and design of such parks.

Analysis of Protective Planning and Design of Suburban Linpan of Chengdu City in China

After the analysis of the general situation of suburban Linpan in Chengdu City,the paper has pointed out the differences between suburban Linpan and outer suburban Linpan,which are different guiding factors for Linpan declining and disappearing,existing architectural forms and styles in Linpan,infrastructure construction levels,villagers' economic sources and income levels,and villagers' attitudes towards Linpan.Based on this,it has pointed out main points for protective planning of suburban Linpan in Chengdu.It has discussed the protective design of water system,roads and agricultural lands of individual Linpan and that between Linpan and Linpan in the perspective of "patch-corridor-base".

Ideas and Ways of Designing Multi-functional Garden Landscapes—— with the Eco-function Planning of South Chinese Herb Garden in Hainan as an Example

The planning of Hainan Branch Institute of Medicinal Plant, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "South Chinese Herb Garden") requires the integrated functions of scientific research, education, science popularization and propaganda, tourism sceneries, demonstration of production activities, thus the whole design should target at constructing multi-functional garden landscapes, utilize South Chinese herb resources, so as to build a knowledge-based tourism garden with dominant functions of scientific research, science popularization and sightseeing. The authors always insist that ecological thoughts should be borne to construct multi-functional sceneries with proper layout, elegant and honest landscapes, the construction of infrastructures and service system should be attached more importance in garden planning, functional division should be done according to actual landforms, constructions and functional demands, to form a healthy, environment-friendly and modern landscape system that can meet the demands for scientific research, education, science popularization and propaganda, and sightseeing. Through elaborating the design thoughts and principles of South Chinese Herb Garden, its design process, basis of regional planning and functional division, garden beautification means as well as road landscape designs, this study shows the ideas and ways of designing multi-functional garden landscapes.

Study on Planning and Design of Sightseeing Nursery—A Case Study of Nanchong Huangcheng Garden Ecological Sightseeing Park

By taking Huangcheng Garden Ecological Sightseeing Park for example,the study was conducted from the aspects of its general situation,planning target and guiding ideology,planning layout and landscape planning,project planning,and road traffic engineering planning;proposed seven principles for planning and design of sightseeing nursery,so as to provide reference for planning and design of garden nursery of the similar type.

Creation of "Regional Characteristic" in Planning and Design of Farmers' Residential Area at the South of Lower Reaches of the Yangtze River

After analysis of location feature of the south of lower reaches of Yangtze River and its construction of urban and rural integration,the paper pointed out harmonious combination between natural and artificial factors had been neglected in planning and design of farmers' residential area at the south of lower reaches of Yangtze River,"regional characteristic" losing,residential area in the form of "city community" and buildings in European style.In view of these problems,relevant planning and design thoughts and methods had been proposed as to how to create "regional characteristic" from the perspective of planning,architecture and landscape design.It discussed with emphasis the importance of construction base type and combination of environment with residential area construction;inspirations and design methods obtained from traditional architectures;and the content of landscape overall planning and specific design.It was hoped to enlighten designers to shoulder social and historical responsibility,make exploration unremittingly,and construct beautiful homelands for people.

Status of and Strategies for the Planning and Design, Maintenance and Management of Chinese Urban Green Land——Application of Ecological Concepts in This Field

The sustainability of the planning and design goals of urban green land and that of its maintenance and management are mutually related and act as an organic whole. For a long time, the independence of the two is more prominent than their organic connection. This research has made preliminary considerations from three aspects. First, it concerns infusing the concept of ecology, contemplating and demonstrating space, as well as reducing the incidence of plant diseases and insect pests of urban green land. Second, the arrangement of flowers and trees for the planning and design of urban green land should comply with the biological attributes of flowers and trees to realize the organic unification of biological and scenic attributes of flowers and trees. Third, the planning and design of urban green land should attach importance to the organic unification of biological and scenic attributes of lawn grass seeds and reduce the difficulty of maintaining lawn. This research attempts to reduce the pressure of maintaining urban green land from the beginning, i.e. the planning and design of urban green land. It also tries to reduce the cost of maintenance and management to the realize planning and design goals of urban green land and the sustainability concerning its maintenance and management and arrive at the mutual unification of the planning and design as well as maintenance and management of urban green land.

Application of New West-Sichuan Architectural Characteristics in Tourist Town Design——A Case Study of Conceptual Planning of Chuanzhu Township as a Town of Farming and Sericulture in E' meishan City of China

Evolution history of the new west-Sichuan dwellings was analyzed,and its characteristics were summarized as "properly-arranged layouts,unification with neighboring environment;plain facade,excellent ventilation and sun-shading;free layout of single building,definite axes and orderly changes;application of local materials,showing local cultural characteristics;valuing continuity of local cultures and human relationship".Conceptual planning of Zhuanzhu Township as a town of farming and sericulture in E'meishan City was taken for example to propose the overall planning concepts on the basis of its current conditions.And the planning concepts cover functional division,road system,landscape system and overall image,and aim to integrate regional cultural characteristics into the town planning.

Planning and Design for Eco-Sustainable Farmland Consolidation

With a view of sustainable development, different kinds of farmland consolidation are reviewed. A planning and design mode for eco-sustainable farmland consolidation, which integrated the ecotypic board, the ecotypic tunnel, the ecotypic island, and the ecotypic boundary, is proposed. Then, an actual case of farmland consolidation, a project located in Yinzhou County, Zhejiang Province, is used to demonstrate the effective application procedures of the planning and design mode.

Study on Planning and Design Mode of Eco-agricultural Demonstration Base in Poyang Lake Eco-economic Zone

Guided by the Planning of Poyang Lake Eco-economic Zone, traffic and geographic conditions of the Eco-agricultural Demonstration Base in the study area were analyzed, and design principles proposed as "adaptation to local conditions, scientific planning, benign circulation and sustainable development". Detailed planning and design was interpreted from the perspectives of infrastructure planning and functional area planning. Specifically, infrastructure construction should focus on traffic design, water, power and gas supply design, and also architectural design; while functional areas should be gradually developed from south section to central and then north section. It was to establish a design and planning mode that can be widely applied.

Optimal Design of Multiple Stresses Accelerated Life Test Plan Based on Transforming the Multiple Stresses to Single Stress

For planning optimum multiple stresses accelerated life test plans, a commonly followed guiding principle is that all parameters of the life-stress relationship should be estimated, and the number of the stress level combinations must be no less than the number of parameters of the life-stress relationship. However, the general objective of an accelerated life test（ALT） is to assess thep-th quantile of the product life distribution under normal stress. For this objective,estimating all model parameters is not necessary, and this will increase the cost of test. Based on the theoretical conclusion that the stress level combinations of the optimum multiple stresses ALT plan locate on a straight line through the origin of coordinate, it is proposed that a design idea of planning the optimum multiple stresses ALT plan through transforming the problem of designing an optimum multiple stresses ALT plan to designing an optimum single stress ALT plan. Moreover, a method of planning the optimum multiple stresses ALT plan which can avoid estimating all model parameters is established. An example shows that, the proposed plan which only has two stress level combinations could achieve an accuracy no less than the traditional plan, and save the test time and cost on one stress level combination at least; when the actual product life is less than the design value, even the deviation of the model initial parameters value is up to 20%, the variance of the estimation of thep-th quantile of the proposed plan is still smaller than the traditional plans approximately 25%. A design method is provided for planning the optimum multiple stresses ALT which uses the statistical optimum degenerate test plan as the optimum multiple stresses accelerated life test plan.

Problems and Solutions to Planning and Design of Green Building

Green building is one of the important issues for human beings to face ecological and environmental crisis and to examine its own behaviors. To realize sustainable development of architectural industry,main problems in planning and design of green building are analyzed,ideas and suggestions for planning and design of domestic green building are put forward,under the guidance of green building evaluation standards,and on the following two aspects,including urban planning and design driven by shortterm benefits and different design emphases due to unilateral understanding of green building.
