This study investigates how cognitive psychology principles can be integrated into the information architecture design of short-form video platforms,like TikTok,to enhance user experience,engagement,and sharing.Using a questionnaire,it explores TikTok users’habits and preferences,highlighting how social media fatigue(SMF)impacts their interaction with the platform.The paper offers strategies to optimize TikTok’s design.It suggests refining the organizational system using principles like chunking,schema theory,and working memory capacity.Additionally,it proposes incorporating shopping features within TikTok’s interface to personalize product suggestions and enable monetization for influencers and content creators.Furthermore,the study underlines the need to consider gender differences and user preferences in improving TikTok’s sharing features,recommending streamlined and customizable sharing options,collaborative sharing,and a system to acknowledge sharing milestones.Aiming to strengthen social connections and increase sharing likelihood,this research provides insights into enhancing information architecture for short-form video platforms,contributing to their growth and success.

Landscape Architecture Planning and Design Based on Landscape Ecology Theory:A Case Study of Waterfront Landscape Planning and Design of Dapo Town

With the rapid development of urbanization,landscape architecture has become an indispensable component of daily life.In order to achieve better landscape effects and protect the ecological environment,landscape ecology theory can be integrated into landscape planning to carry out disciplinary crossing and integration research between landscape ecology and landscape architecture.In this study,based on the basic theories of landscape ecology,the waterfront landscape of Dapo Town was designed,with the aim to achieve ecological balance in planning,showcase biodiversity,and create a harmonious landscape ecological environment which can benefit both nature and people.This design combined artificial and natural elements while improving the natural environment,which promoted a harmonious relationship between humans and nature,thus enriching the spatial organization of the city,and playing a role in regulating the urban environment and climate.

Application of Blank Symbols in Japanese Architecture and Indoor Designs

A symbol is an expression of meaning,while blank symbols express special meanings.By focusing on the application of blank symbols in Japanese architecture and indoor designs,we analyzed the aesthetic principles in Japanese architecture and indoor designs from the perspective of semiotics,such as“Kongji,”“Emptiness,”and“Dying out,”and their minimalist and pure design concepts.Traditional Chinese culture was also further explored,especially the profound influence of the“Chan sect”and the philosophy of“unity of heaven and mankind”on Japanese architecture and designs.This study aims to facilitate the coexistence and mutual appreciation of Chinese and Japanese architectural designs.

Reconfigurable Logic Design of CORDIC Based FFT Architecture for 5G Communications

There are numerous goals in next-generation cellular networks(5G),which is expected to be available soon.They want to increase data rates,reduce end-to-end latencies,and improve end-user service quality.Modern networks need to change because there has been a significant rise in the number of base stations required to meet these needs and put the operators’low-cost constraints to the test.Because it can withstand interference from other wireless networks,and Adaptive Complex Multicarrier Modulation(ACMM)system is being looked at as a possible choice for the 5th Generation(5G)of wireless networks.Many arithmetic units need to be used on the hardware side of multicarrier systems to do the pulse-shaping filters and inverse FFT.The main goal of this study is to adapt complex multicarrier modulation(ACMM)for baseband transmission with low complexity and the ability to change it.We found that this is the first recon-figurable architecture that lets you choose how many subcarriers a subband has while still having the same amount of hardware resources as before.Also,under the new design with a single selection line,it selects from a set of filters.The baseband modulating signal is evaluated and tested using a Field-Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)device.This device is available from a commercial source.New technology outperforms current technology in terms of computational com-plexity,simple design,and ease of implementation.Additionally,it has a higher power spectrum density,spectral efficiency,a lower bit error rate,and a higher peak to average power ratio than existing technology.

ARCHITECTURE MODEL AND RESOURCE GRAPH BUILDING ALGORITHM FOR DETAILED FPGA ARCHITECTURE DESIGN

This paper addresses the issue of designing the detailed architectures of Field-Programmable Gate Arrays(FPGAs), which has a great impact on the overall performances of an FPGA in practice. Firstly, a novel FPGA architecture description model is proposed based on an easy-to-use file format known as YAML. This format permits the description of any detailed architecture of hard blocks and channels. Then a general algorithm of building FPGA resource graph is presented. The proposed model is scalable and capable of dealing with detailed architecture design and can be used in FPGA architecture evaluation system which is developed to enable detailed architecture design. Experimental results show that a maximum of 16.36% reduction in total wirelength and a maximum of 9.34% reduction in router effort can be obtained by making very little changes to detailed architectures, which verifies the necessity and effectiveness of the proposed model.

A Collaborative Framework for Mould Design Based on Service-Oriented Architecture

Aiming at improving the traditional object-oriented three-layer architecture for collaborative design, a service-oriented framework for mould design is established by adding a Web service layer to decoupling the direct linking of user interface to functional modules,making the system being platform independent and programming language independent,greatly facilitating the reuse of existing software and hardware resources. .NET technology is adopted to implement the framework. An example scenario is introduced to demonstrate how the system works.

Analysis and design for architecture-based software

The technologies of software architecture are introduced, and the software analysis-and-design process is divided into requirement analysis, software architecture design and system design. Using these technologies, a model of architecture-centric software analysis and design process（ACSADP） is proposed. Meanwhile, with regard to the completeness, consistency and correctness between the software requirements and design results, the theories of function and process control are applied to ACSADP. Finally, a model of integrated development environnment （IDE） for ACSADP is propcsed. It can be demonstrated by the practice that the model of ACSADP can aid developer to manage software process effectively and improve the quality of software analysis and design.

Design and Implementation of Virtual Experiments for Computer Architecture Based on Simulators

In china,many students are unable to do experiments in computer architecture courses,which is very important in helping them to understand many key points.The reason is that the cost of the hardware required is too much.Besides,it is very difficult to do research study in hardware experiments.In our course,we adopted an alternative way to deal with the problem: to use software simulators,and designed a set of virtual experiments based on these simulators,which are described in detail in this paper.

Designing a Teaching Website for Early Warning Technology Support Specialty Based on Information Architecture

Inclusive Architecture:Digital Technologies,Co-design and Qualification of the Project Process

This article presents the scenario of programming use by architects and engineers,creating their own unique tools.The goal is to emulate and understand the phenomenon of Building Information Modeling(BIM)software customization by developing plug-ins that can explore the human-environment relationship.Demonstrate the process for building a plugin that seeks to equalize the theory of accessibility technical standards,visually impaired and architects.Use Design Science Research methodologies to guide the construction of artifacts for specific practical problems and the Collaborative Design/Co-design to understand and know the users’expertise.It is argued that the low quality of projects that include elements for the orientation of the visually impaired in Brazil is often related to an unstructured methodology in which important aspects such as the real needs of this group and the human-environment relationship are neglected.

System deployment optimization in architecture design

Optimization of architecture design has recently drawn research interest. System deployment optimization （SDO） refers to the process of optimizing systems that are being deployed to activi- ties. This paper first formulates a mathematical model to theorize and operationalize the SDO problem and then identifies optimal so- lutions to solve the SDO problem. In the solutions, the success rate of the combat task is maximized, whereas the execution time of the task and the cost of changes in the system structure are mini- mized. The presented optimized algorithm generates an optimal solution without the need to check the entire search space. A novel method is finally proposed based on the combination of heuristic method and genetic algorithm （HGA）, as well as the combination of heuristic method and particle swarm optimization （HPSO）. Experi- ment results show that the HPSO method generates solutions faster than particle swarm optimization （PSO） and genetic algo- rithm （GA） in terms of execution time and performs more efficiently than the heuristic method in terms of determining the best solution.

Application of Fengshui Doctrines in Landscape Architecture Design

Proceeding from the concept of Fengshui, the author focused on the influence of Fengshui on construction activities in ancient China, and proposed that Fengshui has impacted not only site selection and layout of ancient cities, towns, villages, palaces and residences, but also site selection and layout of classical Chinese gardens. On this basis, application of Fengshui in modern landscape architecture design was explored, and the harmony between garden planning and environment factors was stressed, and also psychological factors of human beings emphasized. In this way, the doctrine of "human-nature oneness" was demonstrated, spirit of place and actual conditions of the planning site respected, and propitious culture manifested.

Landscape Architecture Design in China under the Influence of Postmodernism

Based on interpretation of post-modernism, basic design techniques of landscape architecture in China under the influence of post-modernism were summarized through analyzing its influence and comparing domestic and overseas scholars' understanding of post-modern landscape architecture. The study aims at providing scientific references for the future theoretical and practical researches on the design of post-modern landscape architecture in China.

3D Digital Design of Cranes' Structures Based on Hybrid Software Architecture

3D digital design for cranes’ structures based on hybrid software architecture of Client/Server and Browser/Server is introduced in this paper. Based on Pro/ENGINEER platform,3D parametric model family is built to allow generation of feasible configurations of cranes’ structures in Client/Server framework. Taking use of Visual C++,the second exploiting software kit provided by Pro/ENGINEER and ANSYS GUI/APDL modeling patterns,an integration method of 3D CAD and CAE is achieved,which includes regeneration of 3D parametric model,synchronous updating and analysis of FEA model. As in Browser/Server framework,the 3D CAD models of parts,components and the whole structure could also be displayed in the customer’s browser in VRML format.

Application of Flipped Classroom in Architectural Design Course of Architecture Discipline

Through the study of the teaching reform design of the course in Architecture Design using the flipped classroom,this paper discussed the effectiveness of the information-based teaching method for students’ learning. It integrated the flipped classroom into all aspects of Architectural Design teaching. An Overview of Folding Techniques in Architecture Design

In recent years, folding techniques are widely used by many architects to make 3D forms from 2D sheets as an inspiration for their design, which enables simpler and more intuitive solutions for architectural realization. This research provides an overview of using folding techniques in architecture design, with an emphasis on their new applications. In this overview, we classify folding techniques as computation geometry folding techniques and manual folding techniques. Finally, we provide recommendations for future development.

A Socio-Technical Perspective on the Design of IT Architectures:The Lowlands Lens

The paper aims at developing a more comprehensive design theory for designing effective IT architectures based on organizational design principles.It builds on the sociotechnical systems design theory(STS-D)for the design of work,workplaces,and organizations as developed in the Lowlands(The Netherlands and Belgium).Traditional sociotechnical approaches study the effects of the technical system on the social system and try to jointly optimize both systems by end-users’participation.The Lowlands STS-D approach focuses on creating organizational conditions for developing humane and productive organizations.Organizations are considered as social systems.Technical systems need to support the effective functioning of work and control of work within that social system.Therefore,the division of labour is central in the Lowlands STS-D approach.It is articulated in designing the execution tasks(production structure)and control tasks(control structure).Furthermore,it claims that the design of IT architecture follows after organizational design of the production and control structure.This boils down to the design of provisioning of information needed at workplaces and between workplaces.To understand the Lowlands approach for designing IT architecture,called archipelago,we will first in-depth explain its organizational design principles and sequence,and its application for designing IT architecture,which is becoming ever more feasible with new technologies.Furthermore,with this paper we attempt to bridge the different languages used by organizational and IT designers as they should jointly work on the same outcome:humane and productive organizations.

Design and Fabrication of Drug Delivery Devices with Complex Architectures Based on Three-dimensional Printing Technique

A new type of implantable drug delivery devices （ DDD ） with complicated architectures were fubricated by three-dimensional printing technique, employing levofloxacin （LVFX） as a model drug. Processing parameters were optimized in riew of the layer thickness, spucing between printed lines, flow rate of liquid binder and the fast axis speed. The prepared DDD prototype consists of a double-layer structure, of which the upper region is a reservoir system and the lower region is a matrix one. The in vitro release test revealed that LVFX was released in a dual-puse pattern. This DDD may present a new strategy for the prophylaxis and treatment of diseases such as bone infection in the near future.
