Effects on Sum and Difference Patterns by Adaptive Null

This paper presents a simple method of forming sum and difference patterns with adaptivenulls. The effects on the sidelobe level and the pointing null of difference pattern by adaptive null areanalyzed. The result that the increment value of the envelope of the sidelobe level under the effect ofa null is less than l.6dB is proved. The formula about shift value of the pointing null which is thefunction of the jammer direction and array parameters is given in the paper.

Novel discrimination method of digital deceptive jamming in mono-pulse radar

A new polarization measurement algorithm by using the sum and difference beam differential property of mono-pulse radar is given.Based on the generation mechanism differences between the target scattering and multi-false-target jamming,the signal models of real targets and digital deceptive false target jamming for sum and delta channel are presented.The polarization discrimination parameters are designed,and the discrimination method and its performance are discussed.This novel method does not need the accurate estimation of the absolute value of full target polarization scattering matrix,but only requires the relative estimation of the orthogonal polarized component of the targets.Without the need to add additional polarization channels,the proposed method is more suitable for engineering realization.The simulation experiment verifies that the correctly identifying probability can be better than 90%.

PLANE WAVE SPECTRUM AND BORESIGHT ERROR OF RADOME-ENCLOSED ANTENNAS

The plane wave spectrum surface integration (PWS SI) is a practical and efficient method for antenna radome system analysis, especially for determining the boresight error (BSE) in the system. But it is only used for sum pattern calculation till now, and BSE is calculated by the beam maximum searching method. In this paper, the aperture distribution for difference pattern is formulated as the product of that for sum pattern and a two dimensional periodic window function. A series representation for the spectrum of difference pattern is then obtained according to the convolution theorem. The truncation error of the series has been analyzed by introducing the coverage radius of the spectrum of sum pattern. Based on this representation, the PWS SI technique is extended to difference pattern calculation of radome enclosed antennas. The BSE of a three dimensional multilayered radome, with thickness tapers in all layers, is calculated through the difference pattern null searching. Owing to the steep slope of difference pattern near the nulls, this method for BSE calculation is more stable and reliable than the original beam maximum searching method in PWS SI analysis. The results are compared with those from aperture integration surface integration (AI SI) analysis and the measured ones.

SDS-PAGE PROTEIN PATTERN AND ITS ANTIGENICITY ANALYSIS OF DIFFERENT ISOLATES OF SCHISTOSOMA JAPONICUM IN CHINA

Homogenates prepared from S. japonicum adult worms ofdifferent isolates from Anhui, Hubei, Guangxi, Yunnan andSichuan Provinces were analyzed by SDS-PAGE and enzymelinked immunoelectrotransfer blot (EITB) tested with rabbitanti-snails antibody. The results of SDS-PAGE indicated thatwith silver staining both male and female worms of Guangxiisolate showed some definite differences in their protein profile,namely, absence of one band between 50-75 kDa in maleworms and marked reduction in quantity of > 110 and 30 kDabands in female worms. There was no obvious differenceamong other isolates both in male and female worms. TheEITB patterns were similar in S. japonicum of Anhui andHubei, and it was also the case with isolates from Yunnan andSichuau, except that Yuunan female worms had a distinct band
