SOME EULER SPACES OF DIFFERENCE SEQUENCES OF ORDER m

Kizmaz [13] studied the difference sequence spaces ∞（A）, c（A）, and co（A）. Several article dealt with the sets of sequences of m-th order difference of which are bounded, convergent, or convergent to zero. Altay and Basar [5] and Altay, Basar, and Mursaleen [7] introduced the Euler sequence spaces e0^r, ec^r, and e∞^r, respectively. The main purpose of this article is to introduce the spaces e0^r△^（m））, ec^r△^（m））, and e∞^r△^（m））consisting of all sequences whose mth order differences are in the Euler spaces e0^r, ec^r, and e∞^r, respectively. Moreover, the authors give some topological properties and inclusion relations, and determine the α-, β-, and γ-duals of the spaces e0^r△^（m））, ec^r△^（m））, and e∞^r△^（m））, and the Schauder basis of the spaces e0^r△^（m））, ec^r△^（m））. The last section of the article is devoted to the characterization of some matrix mappings on the sequence space ec^r△^（m））.

CHARACTERIZATIONS OF COMPACT OPERATORS ON SOME EULER SPACES OF DIFFERENCE SEQUENCES OF ORDER m

In the past, several authors studied spaces of m-th order difference sequences, among them, H.Polat and F.Basar （[17]） defined the Euler spaces of m-th order difference sequences e r 0 （△ （ m ） ）, e r c （△ （ m ） ） and e r ∞ （△ （ m ） ） and characterized some classes of matrix transformations on them. In our paper, we add a new supplementary aspect to their research by characterizing classes of compact operators on those spaces. For that purpose, the spaces are treated as the matrix domains of a triangle in the classical sequence spaces c 0 , c and ∞ . The main tool for our characterizations is the Hausdorff measure of noncompactness.

SOME GEOMETRIC PROPERTIES OF A NEW DIFFERENCE SEQUENCE SPACE INVOLVING LACUNARY SEQUENCES

In this paper, we define a new generalized difference sequence space involving lacunary sequence. Then, we examine k-NUC property and property （β） for this space and also show that it is not rotund where p = （pr） is a bounded sequence of positive real numbers with pr ≥ 1 for all r ∈ N.

ON THE m^(th) ORDER DIFFERENCE SEQUENCE SPACE OF GENERALIZED WEIGHTED MEAN AND COMPACT OPERATORS

In this article, using generalized weighted mean and difference matrix of order m, we introduce the paranormed sequence space l（u, v, p; △（m））, which consist of the sequences whose generalized weighted △（m）-difference means are in the linear space l（p） defined by I.J.Maddox. Also, we determine the basis of this space and compute its α-, β- and γ-duals. Further, we give the characterization of the classes of matrix mappings from l（u, v, p, △（m）） to l∞, c, and co. Finally, we apply the Hausdorff measure of noncompacness to characterize some classes of compact operators given by matrices on the space lp（U, v, △（m）） （1 ≤ p 〈 ∞）.

Some new generalized difference sequence spaces defined by a sequence of moduli

The idea of difference sequence sets X（△） = {x = （xk） ： △x ∈ X} with X = l∞, c and co was introduced by Kizmaz [12]. In this paper, using a sequence of moduli we define some generalized difference sequence spaces and give some inclusion relations.

Spatio-temporal Variations in Drought with Remote Sensing from the Mongolian Plateau During 1982–2018

The Mongolian Plateau is one of the regions most sensitive to climate change,the more obvious increase of temperature in 21 st century here has been considered as one of the important causes of drought and desertification.It is very important to understand the multi-year variation and occurrence characteristics of drought in the Mongolian Plateau to explore the ecological environment and the response mechanism of surface materials to climate change.This study examines the spatio-temporal variations in drought and its frequency of occurrence in the Mongolian Plateau based on the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer(AVHRR)Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)(1982–1999)and the Moderate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)(2000–2018)datasets;the Temperature Vegetation Dryness Index(TVDI)was used as a drought evaluation index.The results indicate that drought was widespread across the Mongolian Plateau between1982 and 2018,and aridification incremented in the 21 st century.Between 1982 and 2018,an area of 164.38×10^4 km^2/yr suffered from drought,accounting for approximately 55.28%of the total study area.An area of approximately 150.06×10^4 km^2(51.43%)was subject to more than 160 droughts during 259 months of the growing seasons between 1982 and 2018.We observed variable frequencies of drought occurrence depending on land cover/land use types.Drought predominantly occurred in bare land and grassland,both of which accounting for approximately 79.47%of the total study area.These terrains were characterized by low vegetation and scarce precipitation,which led to frequent and extreme drought events.We also noted significant differences between the areal distribution of drought,drought frequency,and degree of drought depending on the seasons.In spring,droughts were widespread,occurred with a high frequency,and were severe;in autumn,they were localized,frequent,and severe;whereas,in summer,droughts were the most widespread and frequent,but less severe.The increase in temperature,decrease in precipitation,continuous depletion of snow cover,and intensification of human activities have resulted in a water deficit.More severe droughts and aridification have affected the distribution and functioning of terrestrial ecosystems,causing changes in the composition and distribution of plants,animals,microorganisms,conversion between carbon sinks and carbon sources,and biodiversity.We conclude that regional drought events have to be accurately monitored,whereas their occurrence mechanisms need further exploration,taking into account nature,climate,society and other influencing factors.

ON ALMOST SURE CONVERGENCE OF WEIGHTED SUMS OF RANDOM ELEMENT SEQUENCES

We mainly study the almost sure limiting behavior of weighted sums of the form ∑ni=1 aiXi/bn , where {Xn, n ≥ 1} is an arbitrary Banach space valued random element sequence or Banach space valued martingale difference sequence and {an, n ≥ 1} and {bn,n ≥ 1} are two sequences of positive constants. Some new strong laws of large numbers for such weighted sums are proved under mild conditions.

On a Class of Generalized Lacunary Difference Sequence Spaces Defined by Orlicz Functions

In this article we introduce the generalized lacunary difference sequence spaces [N_θ,M,Δ~m]_0,[N_θ,M,Δ~m]_1 and [N_θ,M,Δ~m]_∞ using m^(th)- difference.We study their properties like completeness,solidness,symmetricity.Also we obtain some inclusion relations involving the spaces [N_θ,M,Δ~m]_0,[N_θ,M,Δ~m]_1 and[N_θ,M,Δ~m]_∞ and the Cesàro summable and strongly Cesàro summable sequences.

WALL EFFECTS ON FLOWS PAST TWO TANDEM CYLINDERS OF DIFFERENT DIAMETERS

Flows past two tandem cylinders of different diameters placed centrally in a channel with fixed centre-to-centre spacing 6D and diameter ratio are simulated based on the Lattice Boltzmann Method（LBM）.In all the simulations,the diameter of the smaller cylinder is chosen as the characteristic length.The Reynolds number based on the average inflow velocity is 20-120 and studies are over the range of blockage ratio 2-8.In both Small-Big Arrangement（SBA）and Big-Small Arrangement（BSA）,the effects of the channel width and Reynolds number on the flow structures and force coefficients are studied.Results show that the flows in BSA are more regular than those in SBA for the same flow fields.In BSA with and,the force coefficients all fluctuate with constant amplitudes and a coupled frequency,the coupled frequency becomes small as the blockage ratio decreases and by an exact test we give out the relation of the blockage ratio and Strouhal number.As the blockage ratio decreases to 2,there exist pitchfork bifurcations in both SBA and BSA,and results show that the critical Reynolds numbers of pitchfork bifurcations for SBA and BSA are both between 60 and 80.In SBA with,the flow structure has a static asymmetric mode.It is found that the channel width has also an effect on the critical spacing where the flow changes from single body mode into co-shedding mode.By an accurate survey on flows past two cylinders with equal diameters placed inside a channel with the width,the relation between channel width and the critical spacing is given and results show that the critical spacing increases as the channel width increases.

On the Space bv_p(F) of Sequences of p-bounded Variation of Fuzzy Numbers

Recently, the space bvp of real or complex numbers consisting of all sequences whose differences are in the space lp has been studied by Basar, Altay [Ukrainian Math. J. 55（1）（2003）, 136-147], where 1 ≤ p ≤ ∞. The main purpose of the present paper is to introduce the space bvp（F） of sequences of p-bounded variation of fuzzy numbers. Moreover, it is proved that the space bvp（F） includes the space lp（F） and also shown that the spaces bvp（F） and lp（F） axe isomorphic for 1 ≤ p ≤∞. Furthermore, some inclusion relations have been given.
