Security during remote transmission has been an important concern for researchers in recent years.In this paper,a hierarchical encryption multi-image encryption scheme for people with different security levels is desi...Security during remote transmission has been an important concern for researchers in recent years.In this paper,a hierarchical encryption multi-image encryption scheme for people with different security levels is designed,and a multiimage encryption(MIE)algorithm with row and column confusion and closed-loop bi-directional diffusion is adopted in the paper.While ensuring secure communication of medical image information,people with different security levels have different levels of decryption keys,and differentiated visual effects can be obtained by using the strong sensitivity of chaotic keys.The highest security level can obtain decrypted images without watermarks,and at the same time,patient information and copyright attribution can be verified by obtaining watermark images.The experimental results show that the scheme is sufficiently secure as an MIE scheme with visualized differences and the encryption and decryption efficiency is significantly improved compared to other works.展开更多

Drying is a complex operation that demands much energy and time. Drying is essentially important for preservation of ginger rhizome. Drying of ginger was modeled, and then the effective diffusion coefficient and activation energy were determined. For this purpose, the experiments were done at six levels of varied temperatures: 10°C, 20°C, 30°C, 40°C, 50°C and 60°C. The values of effective diffusion coefficients obtained in this work for the variously treated ginger rhizomes closely agreed with the average effective diffusion coefficients of other notable authors who determined the drying kinetics and convective heat transfer coefficients of ginger slices.展开更多

As water is made up of oxygen and hydrogen, the water diffusion coefficients and dynamics in adhesive/carben fiber reinforced epoxy resin composite joints can be obtained from the change in the content of oxygen in the adhesive during humidity aging, via EDX analy-sis. The authors have calculated the water diffusion coefficients and dynamics in the adhesive/carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin composite joints with the aid of beth energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The de- termined results with EDX analysis are almost the same as those determined with elemental analysis and the results al- so show that the durability of the adhesive/carbon fther reinforced epoxy resin composite joints subjected to silane cou- pling agent treatment is better than those subjected to sand paper burnishing treatment and chemical oxidation treat- ment.展开更多

An objective halftone image quality evaluation method based on the human visual system obtained by a least-mean-square algorithm is also introduced. In the encoder, the kernels-alternated error diffusion (KAEDF) is applied. It is able to maintain the computational complexity at the same level as ordinary error diffusion. Compared with Hel-Or using ordered dithering, the proposed KAEDF yields a better image quality through using error diffusion. We also propose a weighted lookup table (WLUT) in the decoder instead of lookup table (LUT), as proposed by Pei and Guo, so as to achieve a higher decoded rate. As the experimental results demonstrate, this technique is able to guard against degradation due to tampering, cropping, rotation, and print-and-scan processes in error-diffused halftone images.展开更多

Electron probe microanalysis, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction were used to characterize the product phases in the joints. The results show that two intermediate phases form in the sequence of NiAl3 and Ni2Al3 during solidification. After annealed, Ni2Al3 and NiAl3 still exist in the joints of the couples. The reasons for the formation of Ni2Al3 and NiAl3, as well as the absence of NiAl, Ni5Al3 and Ni3Al were discussed, respectively. The growth kinetics of both product phase layers indicates that their growth obeys the parabolic rate law. The activation energies and frequency factors for NiAl3 and Ni2Al3 phases were also calculated according to the Arrhenius equation.展开更多

Theoretical formulas were deduced and experimental measurements and simulations were performed. It is found that the diffusion behaviour of intermolecular double-quantum coherence in the pre-acquisition period may be different from that of conventional single-quantum coherence, depending on the relative orientation of diffusion weighting gradients to coherence selection gradients. When the orientation of the diffusion weighting gradients is parallel or anti-parallel to the orientation of the coherence selection gradients, the diffusion is modulated by the distant dipolar field. This study is helpful for understanding the signal properties in intermolecular double-quantum coherence magnetic resonance imaging.展开更多
As titanium alloy is chemically reactive,it is very difficult to join by conventional welding techniques.Titanium alloys can easily pick up nitrogen and oxygen from the atmosphere.In the fusion welding method,brittle ...As titanium alloy is chemically reactive,it is very difficult to join by conventional welding techniques.Titanium alloys can easily pick up nitrogen and oxygen from the atmosphere.In the fusion welding method,brittle intermetallic compounds are formed when joining titanium alloy and stainless steel,which decrease the mechanical behavior of the couples.Hence,for joining of titanium alloy,diffusion bonding is recommended.This work dealt with the measurement of feasible process parameters for diffusion bonding of Ti-6Al-4V and AISI 304 stainless steel with silver as an intermediate layer.The quality of the bonds was confirmed by the lap shear test and microstructural analysis.With the experimental results obtained,diffusion bonding windows were constructed and this will act as reference maps to identify the process parameters for obtaining defect free bond.Bonding was successful in the temperature range of 750-800 °C.Maximum lap shear strength was achieved under a bonding pressure of 5 MPa and holding time of 90 min.展开更多

The composition-dependent mechanical properties of bcc Ti-Ta-Fe system were experimentally determined by means of nanoindentation and electron probe microanalysis(EPMA) techniques. Moreover, the interdiffusion coefficients of Ti-Ta-Fe alloys at 1273 K were confirmed from the composition gradients of the ternary diffusion couples with the support of a pragmatic numerical inverse method. A composition-dependent database on the mechanical and diffusion properties of Ti-Ta-Fe alloys was carefully established and utilized for the discussion of the processability during the hot working. The results indicated that the content of Fe should be controlled for the Ti alloys with high hardness and low Young’s modulus.展开更多

Lithium metal batteries are promising devices for the next-generation energy storage due to their ultrahigh theoretical specific capacity and extremely low electrochemical potential.Their inherent problem is the forma...Lithium metal batteries are promising devices for the next-generation energy storage due to their ultrahigh theoretical specific capacity and extremely low electrochemical potential.Their inherent problem is the formation of lithium dendrites in cycling,which has induced safety concerns for almost half a century.After understanding the formation mechanism of branching structures,we propose to suppress lithium dendrites by adopting external magnetic fields to induce diffusion enhancement at the interface of the anode,thus attenuating concentration gradient there and reducing the driving force for the formation of dendritic structures.The diffusion coefficient of lithium ions is dependent on the strength of magnetic fields,confirming the effectiveness of magnetic fields in improving Li^(+) diffusion.After employing the magnetic field of0.8 T,the concentration gradients at the growth front becomes nearly half of the control case,which leads to a dendrite-free lithium deposition up to the high current density of 10 mA cm^(-2).Both the Cu|LiCoO_(2) batteries and the symmetric Li | Li coin cells show a long-term stable cycling at high current densities under the assistance of magnetic field.This diffusion enhanced technique promises a facile and general approach to suppress dendritic structures in secondary batteries,which may help to develop quick charging strategies.展开更多
The conventional direct position determination(DPD) algorithm processes all received signals on a single sensor.When sensors have limited computational capabilities or energy storage,it is desirable to distribute th...The conventional direct position determination(DPD) algorithm processes all received signals on a single sensor.When sensors have limited computational capabilities or energy storage,it is desirable to distribute the computation among other sensors.A distributed adaptive DPD(DADPD)algorithm based on diffusion framework is proposed for emitter localization.Unlike the corresponding centralized adaptive DPD(CADPD) algorithm,all but one sensor in the proposed algorithm participate in processing the received signals and estimating the common emitter position,respectively.The computational load and energy consumption on a single sensor in the CADPD algorithm is distributed among other computing sensors in a balanced manner.Exactly the same iterative localization algorithm is carried out in each computing sensor,respectively,and the algorithm in each computing sensor exhibits quite similar convergence behavior.The difference of the localization and tracking performance between the proposed distributed algorithm and the corresponding CADPD algorithm is negligible through simulation evaluations.展开更多

The reasons for the formation of Ni2Al3 and NiAl3, as well as the absence of NiAl, Ni5Al3 and Ni3Al were discussed, respectively. The growth kinetics of both product phase layers indicates that their growth obeys the parabolic rate law. The activation energies and frequency factors for NiAl3 and Ni2Al3 phases were also calculated according to the Arrhenius equation.

文摘A modified correlated spectroscopy (COSY) revamped with asymmetric Z-gradient echo detection sequence was designed to investigate the influence of diffusion hehaviour on intermolecular double-quantum coherence signal attenuation during the pre-acquisition period. Theoretical formulas were deduced and experimental measurements and simulations were performed. It is found that the diffusion behaviour of intermolecular double-quantum coherence in the pre-acquisition period may be different from that of conventional single-quantum coherence, depending on the relative orientation of diffusion weighting gradients to coherence selection gradients. When the orientation of the diffusion weighting gradients is parallel or anti-parallel to the orientation of the coherence selection gradients, the diffusion is modulated by the distant dipolar field. This study is helpful for understanding the signal properties in intermolecular double-quantum coherence magnetic resonance imaging.

文摘As titanium alloy is chemically reactive,it is very difficult to join by conventional welding techniques.Titanium alloys can easily pick up nitrogen and oxygen from the atmosphere.In the fusion welding method,brittle intermetallic compounds are formed when joining titanium alloy and stainless steel,which decrease the mechanical behavior of the couples.Hence,for joining of titanium alloy,diffusion bonding is recommended.This work dealt with the measurement of feasible process parameters for diffusion bonding of Ti-6Al-4V and AISI 304 stainless steel with silver as an intermediate layer.The quality of the bonds was confirmed by the lap shear test and microstructural analysis.With the experimental results obtained,diffusion bonding windows were constructed and this will act as reference maps to identify the process parameters for obtaining defect free bond.Bonding was successful in the temperature range of 750-800 °C.Maximum lap shear strength was achieved under a bonding pressure of 5 MPa and holding time of 90 min.

文摘The mechanical and diffusion properties of Ti-Ta-Fe alloys in the Ti-rich region were investigated by utilizing a high-throughput method, with the combination of nanoindentation and diffusion couple techniques.Five groups of ternary Ti-Ta-Fe diffusion couples were prepared after annealing at 1273 K for 25 h. The composition-dependent mechanical properties of bcc Ti-Ta-Fe system were experimentally determined by means of nanoindentation and electron probe microanalysis(EPMA) techniques. Moreover, the interdiffusion coefficients of Ti-Ta-Fe alloys at 1273 K were confirmed from the composition gradients of the ternary diffusion couples with the support of a pragmatic numerical inverse method. A composition-dependent database on the mechanical and diffusion properties of Ti-Ta-Fe alloys was carefully established and utilized for the discussion of the processability during the hot working. The results indicated that the content of Fe should be controlled for the Ti alloys with high hardness and low Young’s modulus.

文摘Lithium metal batteries are promising devices for the next-generation energy storage due to their ultrahigh theoretical specific capacity and extremely low electrochemical potential.Their inherent problem is the formation of lithium dendrites in cycling,which has induced safety concerns for almost half a century.After understanding the formation mechanism of branching structures,we propose to suppress lithium dendrites by adopting external magnetic fields to induce diffusion enhancement at the interface of the anode,thus attenuating concentration gradient there and reducing the driving force for the formation of dendritic structures.The diffusion coefficient of lithium ions is dependent on the strength of magnetic fields,confirming the effectiveness of magnetic fields in improving Li^(+) diffusion.After employing the magnetic field of0.8 T,the concentration gradients at the growth front becomes nearly half of the control case,which leads to a dendrite-free lithium deposition up to the high current density of 10 mA cm^(-2).Both the Cu|LiCoO_(2) batteries and the symmetric Li | Li coin cells show a long-term stable cycling at high current densities under the assistance of magnetic field.This diffusion enhanced technique promises a facile and general approach to suppress dendritic structures in secondary batteries,which may help to develop quick charging strategies.

文摘The conventional direct position determination(DPD) algorithm processes all received signals on a single sensor.When sensors have limited computational capabilities or energy storage,it is desirable to distribute the computation among other sensors.A distributed adaptive DPD(DADPD)algorithm based on diffusion framework is proposed for emitter localization.Unlike the corresponding centralized adaptive DPD(CADPD) algorithm,all but one sensor in the proposed algorithm participate in processing the received signals and estimating the common emitter position,respectively.The computational load and energy consumption on a single sensor in the CADPD algorithm is distributed among other computing sensors in a balanced manner.Exactly the same iterative localization algorithm is carried out in each computing sensor,respectively,and the algorithm in each computing sensor exhibits quite similar convergence behavior.The difference of the localization and tracking performance between the proposed distributed algorithm and the corresponding CADPD algorithm is negligible through simulation evaluations.
