The existing intelligent manufacturing system cannot satisfy efcient human-robot collaborative work. However, unlike machines equipped with sensors, human characteristic information is difcult to be perceived and digitized instantly. In view of the high complexity and uncertainty of the human body, this paper proposes a framework for building a human digital twin (HDT) model based on multimodal data and expounds on the key technologies. Data acquisition system is built to dynamically acquire and update the body state data and physiological data of the human body and realize the digital expression of multi-source heterogeneous human body information. A bidirectional long short-term memory and convolutional neural network (BiLSTM-CNN) based network is devised to fuse multimodal human data and extract the spatiotemporal features, and the human locomotion mode identifcation is taken as an application case. A series of optimization experiments are carried out to improve the performance of the proposed BiLSTM-CNN-based network model. The proposed model is compared with traditional locomotion mode identifcation models. The experimental results proved the superiority of the HDT framework for human locomotion mode identifcation.展开更多

Our collaborative projects drive forward the research agendas of both humanists and technologists. There have been other changes too. The focus of our scholarly interest has moved away from its historical origins in text-based scholarship, although that now has many more possibilities, and we are seeing an interest in exploring culture and heritage more widely. Where the progress is slower is in our moves towards openness and inclusivity, and this is to some extent hampered by a lack of linguistic diversity. This is being addressed with specialist groups within the major DH organizations on a national and a global level. DH has grown rapidly in China, and the anglophone world could do more to engage with practitioners and potential colleagues in this new vibrant and emerging area. There are certainly Western centres that specialize, particularly in Chinese texts and historical documents, but this needs to be extended further if we are not to impose limits on the conversations, synergies and collaborations that can result.展开更多

Humanists are well aware that cultural knowledge, aesthetic value and copyright/ownership are not monolithic, yet digital humanities work often expects the replication of narrow ideas of such. Drawing on the growing body of scholarship that situates the digital humanities in a broad global context, this paper points to areas of tension within the field and posits ways that digital humanities practitioners might resist such moves to homogenize the field. Working within the framework of border studies, the paper considers how working across national barriers might further digital humanities work. Finally, ideas of ownership and/or copyright are unique to country of origin and, as such, deserve careful attention. While open access is appealing in many digital humanities pro- jects, it is not always appropriate, as work with indigenous cultural artifacts has revealed.展开更多

In this research, we develop an integrated framework for vehicle interior design using a digital human model (DHM). In this framework, the knowledge-based parametric modelling function of vehicles is implemented using a commercial computer-aided design (CAD) system. The combination of the DHM and the CAD system enables designers into carry out ergonomic evaluations of various human-vehicle interactions and understand the effects of modifications of vehicle design parameters on occupants during designing. Further, the information on human-vehicle interaction obtained using this system can be transmitted to dedicated biomechanical analysis software. By analysing human motions inside vehicles using such software, we can obtain optimized interior design parameters.展开更多

文摘With the increasing attention to the state and role of people in intelligent manufacturing, there is a strong demand for human-cyber-physical systems (HCPS) that focus on human-robot interaction. The experimental results proved the superiority of the HDT framework for human locomotion mode identifcation.
文摘Digital humanities has grown and changed over the years; we have moved away from expecting technology to be a tool to make humanities research easier and faster into one where we are now equal partners. There are certainly Western centres that specialize, particularly in Chinese texts and historical documents, but this needs to be extended further if we are not to impose limits on the conversations, synergies and collaborations that can result.
文摘As scholars have begun the digitization of the word's cultural materials, the understanding of what is to be digitized and how that digitization occurs remains narrowly imagined, with a distinct bias toward North American and European notions of culture, value and ownership. While open access is appealing in many digital humanities pro- jects, it is not always appropriate, as work with indigenous cultural artifacts has revealed.

文摘Evaluating the human friendliness of vehicles is essential for designing new vehicles since large numbers of human-machine interactions occur frequently inside vehicles. By analysing human motions inside vehicles using such software, we can obtain optimized interior design parameters.

文摘In the application domain of digital humanities network visualization is increasingly being used to conduct research as the main interests of the domain experts lie in exploring and analyzing relationships between entities and their changes over time.Visualizing the dynamics and different perspectives of such data is a non-trivial task but it enables researchers to explore connections between disparate entities and investigate historical narratives that emerge. In this paper we present Circular,an interactive exploration environment to visualize event-based networks and support research in digital humanities through visualization of historical subjects in space and time. Our radial design is the result of iterative collaboration with domain experts, and we discuss the process of collaborative development and exploration of public music festivities in Vienna as an example of immersive development methodology. We validate our approach by means of both domain and visualization expert interviews and show the potential of this approach in supporting the visual exploration of historical subjects. We discuss our design rationales, visual encodings, and interactions as to allow the reproducibility of this approach within a framework of transdisciplinary collaboration with digital humanities.

文摘The advent of the big data era has presented unprecedented challenges to remedies for personal information infringement in areas such as damage assessment, proof of causation, determination of illegality, fault assessment, and liability.Traditional tort law is unable to provide a robust response for these challenges, which severely hinders human rights protection in the digital society. The dynamic system theory represents a third path between fixed constitutive elements and general clauses. It both overcomes the rigidity of the“allor-nothing”legal effect evaluation mechanism of the“element-effect”model and avoids the uncertainty of the general clause model. It can effectively enhance the flexibility of the legal system in responding to social changes. In light of this,it is necessary to construct a dynamic foundational evaluation framework for personal information infringement under the guidance of the dynamic system theory.By relying on the dynamic interplay effect of various foundational evaluation elements, this framework can achieve a flexible evaluation of the constitutive elements of liability and the legal effects of liability for personal information infringement.Through this approach, the crisis of personal information infringement in the era of big data can be mitigated, and the realization of personal information rights as digital human rights can be promoted.

文摘Methods of digital human modeling have been developed and utilized to reflect human shape features. However, most of published works focused on dynamic visualization or fashion design, instead of high-accuracy modeling, which was strongly demanded by medical or rehabilitation scenarios.Prior to a high-accuracy modeling of human legs based on non-uniform rational B-splines(NURBS),the method of extracting the required quasi-grid network of feature points for human legs is presented in this work.Given the 3 D scanned human body, the leg is firstly segmented and put in standardized position. Then re-sampling of the leg is conducted via a set of equidistant cross sections.Through analysis of leg circumferences and circumferential curvature, the characteristic sections of the leg as well as the characteristic points on the sections are then identified according to the human anatomy and shape features. The obtained collection can be arranged to form a grid of data points for knots calculation and high-accuracy shape reconstruction in future work.
