The study reveals that managing information can significantly enhance the capability of the industry to cater to the needs of its consumers and increase diversity. It centers on the effectiveness of turning dressmaking patterns into digital ones, thus transecting from traditional cutting and stitching to remote techniques. This entails the requirement to have correct self-measures and probable errors, which can arise in the process. Thus, with the help of regression analysis, the study identifies, which measurements are incorrect and influence the fit of the clothes, and, therefore, digital pattern creation is more accurate. Altogether, it can be observed how digitalization and statistical methods are crucial to transforming the way clothes are created to approach an ideal standard of measurements that fulfill every customer’s needs to make operational and efficient the clothing sector.展开更多

文摘This paper uses the mediation effect and a spatial panel model using panel data from 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2019 to study the relationship between the digital economy, industrial structure, and carbon emission. The research results show that the development of digital economy can effectively promote the reduction of carbon emissions. The development of the digital economy has a significant role in promoting the rationalization of the industrial structure. The digital economy not only directly suppresses carbon emissions, but also indirectly has a significant inhibitory effect on carbon emissions by promoting the rationalization and improvement of the industrial structure. The development of the digital economy suppresses the optimization of the industrial structure. The improvement of industrialization has hindered the industrialization process. It is necessary to strengthen research and development into digital technology and enhance the capacity of the digital economy to promote carbon emissions reduction.
文摘In the 14th Five-Year Plan period(2021-2025),China has vowed to pursue high-quality industrial development. The digital economy drives high-quality industrial development by creating means of production, reducing transaction costs, transforming industrial organization, and improving the efficiency of resource allocation. The digital factor has become a key factor of production for high-quality development.Digital and user-created innovations are the new normal for cross-sectoral integration and innovation.Great progress has been made in China'high-quality industrial development driven by the digital economy. The rapid development of digital industries and industrial digitalization have reshaped the industrial division of labor and helped the ascension of related industries towards the medium-and high-end links of the global value chains. However,China still faces numerous challenges in the development of its digital economy;it lacks indigenous industrial innovation, depends on foreign supply of core technologies, and is ill-prepared for industrial digitalization.Much work remains to be done to further coordinate the development of some industries and foster digital ecosystems for the symbiosis of industrial chains. In furthering the high-quality industrial development driven by the digital economy,China should stay at the forefront of digital innovation, promote digital governance, enhance data factor agglomeration, and foster digital talents.
文摘As a form of consumption based on the digital content and traits of goods and services, digital consumption is characterized by a strong dependence on the digital technology infrastructure, precise identification of consumer demand, adaptability to new business modes, swift consumer feedback and response, and great market potentials.Under the dual driving forces of technology empowerment and consumption upgrade,China s digital consumption has been growing rapidly, digitalization is empowering traditional sectors of consumption, and the consumption of digital content is expanding.Consumer potential for digital consumption is being unleashed in low-tier cities, and new-generation consumers are gaining influence. With an increasing number of digital consumers, new consumption modes and services have proliferated thanks to the improving digital infrastructure.Growing digital consumption has created an increasing demand-pulling effect that spurs product and service innovation, corporate internal process digitalization, and changes in corporate organization and decision-making.Driven by digital consumption, industrial chain upgrade and restructuring and business mode innovations will improve user experience and firm efficiency, contributing to the quality, efficiency, and dynamism of the manufacturing industry.Amid surging digital consumption, the digital transition of manufacturing is still faced with some problems and challenges. It is important to deepen the user-centric concepts and modes of value creation, create a differentiated service system, optimize digital resource allocation, enhance digital brand management, and scale up R&D and innovation of products and services.

文摘The prevalence of mental health problems in both Malaysian and global workplaces has significantly increased due to the presence of the coronavirus disease(COVID-19)pandemic,globalization,technology advancement in Industry 4.0,and other contributing factors. The pervasiveness of the issue poses a huge challenge to improving the occupational safety and health(OSH)of workers in various industries, especially in the digital industry. The emergence of the innovative industry is evident mainly due to the rapid development of Industry 4.0 and the rele-vant demands of multiple businesses in the digital transformation.Nonetheless, limited studies and academic dis-cussions were conducted on the OSH topic of digital employees.Hence, the current study serves tofill the existing gap and provide academic contributions by scrutinising the perceptions of digital workers regarding their work-place well-being,mental health literacy, and the impression of employing e-mental health. The objectives of this study are:1)To examine the mental health literacy and workplace wellness of digital workers,2)to explore the e-mental health usage intention and actual e-mental health utilization, and 3)to identify digital workers’feedback on e-mental health. In the current context,e-mental health focuses on three dimensions,namely,1)“health in our hand(HIOH)”,2)“interacting for health(IFH)”,and 3)“data enabling health(DEH)”.The present study employed an online cross-sectional survey and received 326 digital workers’completed responses.Variables, such as“mental health literacy(MHL)”,“workplace wellness(WW)”,and e-mental health intention and usage were explicated by analysing the data through descriptive statistics. The study results indicated a moderate to a high level of the MHL and the WW.More than half of the workers possessed a high intention level to employ e-mental health, with the HIOH dimension being the most prevalent domain.Nevertheless, the actual e-mental health usage was very low, owing to the online resources being a new concept amongst digital employees.Numerous confounding factors also existed in affecting the low usage, such as privacy concerns, data security levels, and health verification issues. In addition, the mental health issue has not been openly and widely discussed in Malay-sian workplaces due to stigmatisation. As such, the currentfindings could provide additional insights into the OSH literature;it could serve as a guideline for the OSH decision-makers,employers,and eHealth developers when establishing a feasible framework for the practical adoption of e-mental health services by digital workers.
文摘The industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is an important engine for manufacturingenterprises to provide intelligent products and services. With the development of IIoT, moreand more attention has been paid to the application of ultra-reliable and low latency communications(URLLC) in the 5G system. The data analysis model represented by digital twins isthe core of IIoT development in the manufacturing industry. In this paper, the efforts of3GPP are introduced for the development of URLLC in reducing delay and enhancing reliability,as well as the research on little jitter and high transmission efficiency. The enhancedkey technologies required in the IIoT are also analyzed. Finally, digital twins are analyzedaccording to the actual IIoT situation.
文摘Digital twin (DT) is drawing significant attention both from the academia, industry and government. However, people from different fields have different understandings and cognitions about DT. In addition, most of the DT application scenarios discussed belong to discrete manufacturing and are not suitable for process manufacturing. Petrochemical industry is a typical process manufacturing with multi-scale hierarchical and functional structure in space and time. This contribution focuses on topics on the application of DT in petrochemical industry including: 1) The specific DT definition by process industry. 2) The three key elements and design of chemical DT. 3) Features and application scenarios of chemical DT from the view of model precision, model scale and asset life cycle. 4) The Four P’s maturity framework of chemical DT, and 5) Prospects for the development of chemical DT.
