According to the fingerprint topology, A set of dynamic partition masks and a cost estimating function are designed to guide the partitioning procedure. Finding best fitted mask application is converted to an functional optimizing problem, and we give out a GA solution to the problem. At last, we discuss the application of the proposed method in Fingerprint Classification.展开更多

On the assumption that any image distortion could be modeled as the difference between the directional projection-based maps of reference and distortion images, we propose a new objective quality assessment method based on directional projection for full reference model. In the traditional Ⅱ, the distortion originating from lens aberration wraps ele...A distortion correction method for the elemental images of integral imaging(Ⅱ) by utilizing the directional diffuser is demonstrated. In the traditional Ⅱ, the distortion originating from lens aberration wraps elemental images and degrades the image quality severely. According to the theoretical analysis and experiments, it can be proved that the farther the three-dimensional image is displayed from the lens array, the more serious the distortion is. To analyze the process of eliminating lens distortion, one lens and its corresponding elemental image are separated from the traditional Ⅱ. By introducing the directional diffuser, the aperture stop of the separated optical system changes from the eye's pupil to the lens. In terms of contrast experiments, the distortion of the improved display system is corrected effectively. In the experiment, when the distance between the reconstructed image and lens array is equal to 120 mm, the largest lens distortion is decreased from 46.6% to 3.3%.展开更多
Few single-molecule experiments have enabled the direct imaging of functional biomacromolecules in real-time in their native liquid environments,resolving their conformational adaptations,transient interactions,and in...Few single-molecule experiments have enabled the direct imaging of functional biomacromolecules in real-time in their native liquid environments,resolving their conformational adaptations,transient interactions,and intermediate states.Liquid phase electron microscopy(LP-EM),due to its unique combination of spatial and temporal resolution,has shown to be a promising tool.Recent experiments have enabled successful imaging of intact structures of organic molecules and biological systems with an ordinary electron microscope.Adapting image processing methods and quantitative data analysis from single particle experiments based on the optical microscope,quantifying motion and relaxation of these interacting molecules allows the experimental observations of pathways,to test theoretical predictions,and discovery of new mechanisms.Combining LP-EM with tomography,fluorescence,and mass spectroscopy allows for probing multi-dimensional structural and dynamic information.Challenges remain in obtaining high-quality data in large quantities,which can be improved by developing new liquid cell platforms and machine learning-based data analysis.展开更多
