In many Eastern and Western countries,falling birth rates have led to the gradual aging of society.Older adults are often left alone at home or live in a long-term care center,which results in them being susceptible t...In many Eastern and Western countries,falling birth rates have led to the gradual aging of society.Older adults are often left alone at home or live in a long-term care center,which results in them being susceptible to unsafe events(such as falls)that can have disastrous consequences.However,automatically detecting falls fromvideo data is challenging,and automatic fall detection methods usually require large volumes of training data,which can be difficult to acquire.To address this problem,video kinematic data can be used as training data,thereby avoiding the requirement of creating a large fall data set.This study integrated an improved particle swarm optimization method into a double interactively recurrent fuzzy cerebellar model articulation controller model to develop a costeffective and accurate fall detection system.First,it obtained an optical flow(OF)trajectory diagram from image sequences by using the OF method,and it solved problems related to focal length and object offset by employing the discrete Fourier transform(DFT)algorithm.Second,this study developed the D-IRFCMAC model,which combines spatial and temporal(recurrent)information.Third,it designed an IPSO(Improved Particle Swarm Optimization)algorithm that effectively strengthens the exploratory capabilities of the proposed D-IRFCMAC(Double-Interactively Recurrent Fuzzy Cerebellar Model Articulation Controller)model in the global search space.The proposed approach outperforms existing state-of-the-art methods in terms of action recognition accuracy on the UR-Fall,UP-Fall,and PRECIS HAR data sets.The UCF11 dataset had an average accuracy of 93.13%,whereas the UCF101 dataset had an average accuracy of 92.19%.The UR-Fall dataset had an accuracy of 100%,the UP-Fall dataset had an accuracy of 99.25%,and the PRECIS HAR dataset had an accuracy of 99.07%.展开更多
Effects of process parameters on microstructure and mechanical properties of the AM50A magnesium alloy components formed by double control forming (DCF) were investigated via a four-factor and four-level orthogonal ...Effects of process parameters on microstructure and mechanical properties of the AM50A magnesium alloy components formed by double control forming (DCF) were investigated via a four-factor and four-level orthogonal experiment. The variable curves of DCF showed that the forging procedure was started in the following 35 ms after the injection procedure was completed. It was confirmed that the high-speed filling and high-pressure densifying were combined together in the DCF process. Better surface quality and higher mechanical properties were achieved in the components formed by DCF as compared to die casting (DC) due to the refined and uniform microstructure with a few defects or without defects. Injection speed affected more effectively the yield strength (YS), ultimate tensile strength (UTS) and elongation as compared to pouring temperature, die temperature and forging force. But the pouring temperature had a more significant effect on hardness as compared to injection speed, die temperature and forging force. Pouring temperature of 675 °C, injection speed of 2.7 m/s and forging force of 4000 kN except for die temperature were the optimal parameters for obtaining the highest YS, UTS, elongation and Vickers hardness. Die temperatures of 205, 195, 195 and 225 °C were involved in achieving the highest YS, UTS, elongation and Vickers hardness, respectively. Obvious microporosity and microcracks were found on the fracture surface of the components formed by DC, deteriorating the mechanical properties. However, the tensile fracture morphology of the components formed by DCF was characterized by ductile fracture due to a large number of dimples and no defects, which was beneficial for improving the mechanical properties.展开更多

One is to isolate the transmitting of the cyclicunbalanced force generated by the revolving machine to the surroundings. The other is to isolatethe transmitting of the vibration displacement of the surroundings to precise equipment. Deduc-ing the influence of the roadway unflatness on vehicles also belongs to this type. For the firsttype of isolation system, the damper always dissipates energy, and the total work done by the spring in a vibration cycle is zero. For the second type of isolation system, the work done by the damper sometimes is positive, and sometimes negative. The damper dissipates less energy. However, the change speed of evaluated objects was rarely considered by the existing evaluation methods. An evaluation matrix is proposed to remedy this deficiency. Firstly, the change speed state (CSS) of the evaluated objects is analyzed based on double inspiriting control lines (DICLs), and a matrix of the CSS is constructed. Then, 72 elements in the matrix are analyzed, and formulas describing each CSS are given. The efficiency of the proposed evaluation matrix is proved when the CSS merges with the change speed trend (CST) in the dynamic comprehensive evaluation. Finally, a computing example shows that the proposed evaluation matrix is feasible in the dynamic comprehensive evaluation with the speed feature.展开更多

The extraction of maximum power from the solar panels,using the sliding mode control scheme,becomes popular for partial weather atmospheric conditions due to its effective dynamic duty cycle ratio.However,the sliding ...The extraction of maximum power from the solar panels,using the sliding mode control scheme,becomes popular for partial weather atmospheric conditions due to its effective dynamic duty cycle ratio.However,the sliding mode control scheme was sophisticated with single integral and double integral sliding mode control scheme,which offer enhanced maximum power extraction and support enhanced solar panel efficiency in partial weather conditions.The operation of the sliding mode control scheme depends on the selection of a sliding surface selection based on the atmospheric weather condition,which enables the effective sliding duty cycle ratio operation for the DC/DC boost converter.The duty cycle ratio of the sliding mode control resembles the usual dynamic behavior to achieve enhanced efficiency compared to the various maximum power point tracking(MPPT)schemes.The major limitation of the sliding mode control scheme is to achieve the steady state voltage error of the solar panel in minimum settling time duration.The single integral sliding mode control scheme achieves the expected steady state voltage error limit but fails to achieve minimum settling time duration.Hence,the single integral sliding mode control is extended to a double integral sliding mode control scheme to achieve both steady state voltage error limits within the minimum settling time duration.This double integral sliding mode control scheme allows us to obtain the higher sliding surface duty cycle ratio which acts as the input signal to the boost converter.This activates the enhanced stable and reliable system operation,and nullifies the lacuna of maximum solar panel efficiency under partial weather conditions.Hence,this paper aims to present the design and performance operation of the double integral sliding mode(DISM)MPPT control scheme.To validate the performance analysis of the proposed DISM MPPT control scheme,the MATLAB/Simulink model is designed and verified.Also,the performance analysis of the proposed DISM MPPT control scheme is compared with the sliding mode controller(SMC)scheme and single integral sliding mode controller(SiSMC)scheme.The performance analysis of the proposed double integral sliding mode controller(DISMC)scheme attains 99.10%of efficiency and a very less setting time of 0.035s when compared to other existingmethods.展开更多

Two examples are simulated to validate the model, and ...The flow past a primary cylinder with one tandem control rod and one staggered control rod is simulated in this paper through solving the Navier-Stokes equations. Two examples are simulated to validate the model, and the results matched well with those of previous researches. The Reynolds number based on the diameter of the primary cylinder is 500. The diameter ratio between the control rod and the primary cylinder (d/D) is 0.25. It was found that the effect of the combination of one upstream tandem control rod and one staggered control rod on the hydrodynamics of the primary cylinder is a linear superposition of the effect of a corresponding single control rod, and the effect of the upstream tandem control rod is dominant at larger spacing ratios such as G/D=2. For the combination of a downstream tandem control rod and a staggered control rod, the effect of the control rods is different from that of the corresponding single control rod in the region of 0.2〈G/D〈0.5 & 30°〈a〈120° and 0.9〈G/D〈1.4 & 30°〈a〈50°, where the additional effect is obvious. In this case, the effect of the downstream tandem control rod is dominant at small spacing ratios (such as G/D=0.1). At moderate spacing ratios such as G/D=0.4, the effects of the tandem control rod and the staggered control rod are comparable in both cases.展开更多

The 7801 cut hole in the Lu'an Wuyang Mine was used as this project's background. The main factors affecting large span cut hole stability are analyzed. Pre- stressed bolting theory was used to design a roof control method for a large span roadway. By reducing the span and applying equal strength coordinated supports the rock could be stabilized. The control prin- ciples and methods are given herein along with the analysis. A double micro arch cross section roadway is defined and its use in solving the current problem is described. Beam arch theory was used to build a model of the double micro arch cross section roadway. A support reverse force model for the arch foot intersection was also derived. A support method based upon reducing the width of the large span in the cut hole is presented. These results show that the reduced span of the roadway roof plus the use of cable anchors and single supports gives an effective way to control the large span cut hole. On site monitoring showed that the reduced span support from the double micro arch cross section roadway design had a significant effect. The roadway surface displacement was small and harmful deformation of the cut hole was effectively controlled. This will ensure its long term stability.展开更多

All enhanced tracking differentiator is designed to get smooth tracking signal and exact differential signal from signal with noise. Double loop control strategy is designed to decouple the system and to improve dynamic performance of the system. Experimental results indicate that fluctuation of rail pressure is within il MPa in steady condition, while within ±3 MPa in transient condition, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed rail pressure control strategy.展开更多

The traditional PI controller for a hybrid energy storage system(HESS)has certain drawbacks,such as difficult tuning of the controller parameters and the additional filters to allocate high-and low-frequency power flu...The traditional PI controller for a hybrid energy storage system(HESS)has certain drawbacks,such as difficult tuning of the controller parameters and the additional filters to allocate high-and low-frequency power fluctuations.This paper proposes a model predictive control(MPC)method to control three-level bidirectional DC/DC converters for grid-connections to a HESS in a DC microgrid.First,the mathematical model of a HESS consisting of a battery and ultra capacitor(UC)is established and the neutral point voltage imbalance of a three-level converter is solved by analyzing the operating modes of the converter.Secondly,for the control of the grid-connected converters,an MPC method is proposed for calculating steady-state reference values in the outer layer and the dynamic rolling optimization in the inner layer.The outer layer ensures the voltage regulation and establishes the current predictive model,while the inner layer,using the model predictive current control,makes the current follow the predictive value,thus reducing the system current ripple.This cascaded topology has two independent controllers and is free of filters to realize the high-and low-frequency power allocation for a HESS.Therefore,it allows two types of energy storage devices to independently regulate the voltage and realizes the power allocation of the battery and UC.Finally,simulation studies are conducted in PSCAD/EMTDC,and the effectiveness of the proposed HESS control strategy is verified in a case,such as a controller comparison and fault scenario.展开更多

A double trigger silicon controlled rectifier device (DTSCR) can be used effe...The turn-on speed of electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection devices is very important for the protection of the ultrathin gate oxide. A double trigger silicon controlled rectifier device (DTSCR) can be used effectively for ESD protection because it can turn on relatively quickly. The turn-on process of the DTSCR is first studied, and a formula for calculating the turn-on time of the DTSCR is derived. It is found that the turn-on time of the DTSCR is determined mainly by the base transit time of the parasitic p-n-p and n-p-n transistors. Using the variation lateral base doping (VLBD) structure can reduce the base transit time, and a novel DTSCR device with a VLBD structure (VLBD_DTSCR) is proposed for ESD protection applications. The static-state and turn-on characteristics of the VLBD DTSCR device are simulated. The simulation results show that the VLBD structure can introduce a built-in electric field in the base region of the parasitic n-p-n and p--n-p bipolar transistors to accelerate the transport of free-carriers through the base region. In the same process and layout area, the turn-on time of the VLBD DTSCR device is at least 27% less than that of the DTSCR device with the traditional uniform base doping under the same value of the trigger current.展开更多

The bionic joints composed of pneumatic muscles(PMs)can simulate the motion of biological joints.However,the PMs themselves have non-linear characteristics such as hysteresis and creep,which make it difficult to achie...The bionic joints composed of pneumatic muscles(PMs)can simulate the motion of biological joints.However,the PMs themselves have non-linear characteristics such as hysteresis and creep,which make it difficult to achieve high-precision trajectory tracking control of PM-driven robots.In order to effectively suppress the adverse effects of non-linearity on control performance and improve the dynamic performance of PM-driven legged robot,this study designs a double closed-loop control structure based on neural network.First,according to the motion model of the bionic joint,a mapping model between PM contraction force and joint torque is proposed.Second,a control strategy is designed for the inner loop of PM contraction force and the outer loop of bionic joint angle.In the inner control loop,a feedforward neuron Proportional-Integral-Derivative controller is designed based on the PM three-element model.In the control outer loop,a sliding mode robust controller with local model approximation is designed by using the radial basis function neural network approximation capability.Finally,it is verified by simulation and physical experiments that the designed control strategy is suitable for humanoid motion control of antagonistic PM joints,and it can satisfy the requirements of reliability,flexibility,and bionics during human–robot collaboration.展开更多

Test results of design prototype show that the designed control strategy can effectively adapt to the change of arc length and achieve ideal droplet transfer via one drop per pulse mode. Thus the welding process is stable and the weld bead is good.

文摘Methods of the comprehensive evaluation have been studied for many years. However, the change speed of evaluated objects was rarely considered by the existing evaluation methods. An evaluation matrix is proposed to remedy this deficiency. Firstly, the change speed state (CSS) of the evaluated objects is analyzed based on double inspiriting control lines (DICLs), and a matrix of the CSS is constructed. Then, 72 elements in the matrix are analyzed, and formulas describing each CSS are given. The efficiency of the proposed evaluation matrix is proved when the CSS merges with the change speed trend (CST) in the dynamic comprehensive evaluation. Finally, a computing example shows that the proposed evaluation matrix is feasible in the dynamic comprehensive evaluation with the speed feature.
文摘We theoretically analyze the transient properties of a probe field absorption and dispersion in a coupled semiconductor double-quantum-dot nanostructure.We show that in the presence of the Gaussian laser beams,absorption and dispersion of the probe field can be dramatically influenced by the relative phase between applied fields and intensity of the Gaussian laser beams.Transient and steady-state behaviors of the probe field absorption and dispersion are discussed to estimate the required switching time.The estimated range is between 5-8 ps for subluminal to superluminal light propagation.

文摘In order to improve the steady state performance,dynamic response and power factor of traditional power factor correction(PFC)digital control method and reduce the harmonic distortion of input current,a double closed loop active power factorcorrection(APFC)control method with feed-forward is proposed.Firstly,the small signal model of Boost PFC control systemis built and the system transfer function is deduced,and then the parameters of the main device with Boost topology is estimated.By means of the feed-forward,the system can quickly respond to the change in input voltage.Furthermore,the use ofvoltage loop and current loop can achieve input current and output voltage regulation Simulink modeling shows that this methodcan effectively control the output voltage in case of input voltage largely fluctuating,improve the system dynamic response abilityand input power factor,and reduce the input current harmonic distortion
文摘The extraction of maximum power from the solar panels,using the sliding mode control scheme,becomes popular for partial weather atmospheric conditions due to its effective dynamic duty cycle ratio.However,the sliding mode control scheme was sophisticated with single integral and double integral sliding mode control scheme,which offer enhanced maximum power extraction and support enhanced solar panel efficiency in partial weather conditions.The operation of the sliding mode control scheme depends on the selection of a sliding surface selection based on the atmospheric weather condition,which enables the effective sliding duty cycle ratio operation for the DC/DC boost converter.The duty cycle ratio of the sliding mode control resembles the usual dynamic behavior to achieve enhanced efficiency compared to the various maximum power point tracking(MPPT)schemes.The major limitation of the sliding mode control scheme is to achieve the steady state voltage error of the solar panel in minimum settling time duration.The single integral sliding mode control scheme achieves the expected steady state voltage error limit but fails to achieve minimum settling time duration.Hence,the single integral sliding mode control is extended to a double integral sliding mode control scheme to achieve both steady state voltage error limits within the minimum settling time duration.This double integral sliding mode control scheme allows us to obtain the higher sliding surface duty cycle ratio which acts as the input signal to the boost converter.This activates the enhanced stable and reliable system operation,and nullifies the lacuna of maximum solar panel efficiency under partial weather conditions.Hence,this paper aims to present the design and performance operation of the double integral sliding mode(DISM)MPPT control scheme.To validate the performance analysis of the proposed DISM MPPT control scheme,the MATLAB/Simulink model is designed and verified.Also,the performance analysis of the proposed DISM MPPT control scheme is compared with the sliding mode controller(SMC)scheme and single integral sliding mode controller(SiSMC)scheme.The performance analysis of the proposed double integral sliding mode controller(DISMC)scheme attains 99.10%of efficiency and a very less setting time of 0.035s when compared to other existingmethods.

文摘The flow past a primary cylinder with one tandem control rod and one staggered control rod is simulated in this paper through solving the Navier-Stokes equations. Two examples are simulated to validate the model, and the results matched well with those of previous researches. The Reynolds number based on the diameter of the primary cylinder is 500. The diameter ratio between the control rod and the primary cylinder (d/D) is 0.25. It was found that the effect of the combination of one upstream tandem control rod and one staggered control rod on the hydrodynamics of the primary cylinder is a linear superposition of the effect of a corresponding single control rod, and the effect of the upstream tandem control rod is dominant at larger spacing ratios such as G/D=2. For the combination of a downstream tandem control rod and a staggered control rod, the effect of the control rods is different from that of the corresponding single control rod in the region of 0.2〈G/D〈0.5 & 30°〈a〈120° and 0.9〈G/D〈1.4 & 30°〈a〈50°, where the additional effect is obvious. In this case, the effect of the downstream tandem control rod is dominant at small spacing ratios (such as G/D=0.1). At moderate spacing ratios such as G/D=0.4, the effects of the tandem control rod and the staggered control rod are comparable in both cases.
文摘Limitations of various accumulators in hybrid hydraulic excavator are analyzed. A program using capacitor as the accumulator based on constant work-point control is put forward. A simulating experimental system of hybrid construction machinery is established, and experimental study on constant work-point control for parallel hybrid system with capacitor accumulator is carried out using the pressure and flow rate derived from boom cylinder of hydraulic excavator in actual work as the simulating loads. A program of double work-point control is proposed and proved by further experiments.

文摘Deep large span cut holes are difficult to stabilize. The 7801 cut hole in the Lu'an Wuyang Mine was used as this project's background. The main factors affecting large span cut hole stability are analyzed. Pre- stressed bolting theory was used to design a roof control method for a large span roadway. By reducing the span and applying equal strength coordinated supports the rock could be stabilized. The control prin- ciples and methods are given herein along with the analysis. A double micro arch cross section roadway is defined and its use in solving the current problem is described. Beam arch theory was used to build a model of the double micro arch cross section roadway. A support reverse force model for the arch foot intersection was also derived. A support method based upon reducing the width of the large span in the cut hole is presented. These results show that the reduced span of the roadway roof plus the use of cable anchors and single supports gives an effective way to control the large span cut hole. On site monitoring showed that the reduced span support from the double micro arch cross section roadway design had a significant effect. The roadway surface displacement was small and harmful deformation of the cut hole was effectively controlled. This will ensure its long term stability.
文摘An increasing number of annealing furnaces have recently been using cheaper and cleaner natural gas (NG) instead of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as fuel gas.However,the fuel gas of the furnaces often needs to be changed when NG supply is not adequate or when LPG becomes cheaper.Usually,changing the fuel gas involves changing various equipment as well as control parameters for instruments and the control system and hence is time consuming.Therefore,it is important to develop a quick process for changing fuel gas.This study discusses the techniques for quickly changing fuel gas in an annealing furnace.These techniques deal with the design of the pipe,valve and burner,the selection of the flow meter and the flow control valve,the switch of the software and parameters for the control system,as well as the operation,commissioning and hot test of the furnace when the fuel gas is changed.Using these techniques,it is possible to change fuel gas in 6 h.
文摘The power of the toroidal field (TF) coil in HL-2A is supplied with two 80 MVA motor generators (MGs) together through a diode rectifier. The TF system is designed to obtain the parameters as follows: the highest toroidal filed of 2.8 T, the biggest coil current of 45 kA, the fiat top time of 3-5 s. So the released energy of each MG set for one pulse discharge mast be more than 500 MJ.

文摘This paper proposes a rail pressure tracking controller based on a novel common rail system. A mathematical model, based on physical equations, is developed and used for feed forward control design. Rail pressure peak sampling mechanism is designed to remove the disturbance of rail pressure due to fuel injection. All enhanced tracking differentiator is designed to get smooth tracking signal and exact differential signal from signal with noise. Double loop control strategy is designed to decouple the system and to improve dynamic performance of the system. Experimental results indicate that fluctuation of rail pressure is within il MPa in steady condition, while within ±3 MPa in transient condition, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed rail pressure control strategy.

文摘This paper investigates a multi-component repairable system with double threshold control policy.The system is composed of n identical and independent components which operate simultaneously at the beginning,and it is down when the number of operating components decreases to k−1(k≤n).When the number of failed components is less than the value L,the repairman repairs them with a low repair rate.The high repair rate is activated as soon as L failed components present,and continues until the number of failed components drops to the value N−1.Applying the matrix analytical method,the Laplace transform technique and the properties of the phase type distribution,various performance measures including the availability,the rate of occurrence of failures,and the reliability are derived in transient and stationary regimes.Further,numerical examples are reported to show the behaviour of the system.

文摘The traditional PI controller for a hybrid energy storage system(HESS)has certain drawbacks,such as difficult tuning of the controller parameters and the additional filters to allocate high-and low-frequency power fluctuations.This paper proposes a model predictive control(MPC)method to control three-level bidirectional DC/DC converters for grid-connections to a HESS in a DC microgrid.First,the mathematical model of a HESS consisting of a battery and ultra capacitor(UC)is established and the neutral point voltage imbalance of a three-level converter is solved by analyzing the operating modes of the converter.Secondly,for the control of the grid-connected converters,an MPC method is proposed for calculating steady-state reference values in the outer layer and the dynamic rolling optimization in the inner layer.The outer layer ensures the voltage regulation and establishes the current predictive model,while the inner layer,using the model predictive current control,makes the current follow the predictive value,thus reducing the system current ripple.This cascaded topology has two independent controllers and is free of filters to realize the high-and low-frequency power allocation for a HESS.Therefore,it allows two types of energy storage devices to independently regulate the voltage and realizes the power allocation of the battery and UC.Finally,simulation studies are conducted in PSCAD/EMTDC,and the effectiveness of the proposed HESS control strategy is verified in a case,such as a controller comparison and fault scenario.

文摘The turn-on speed of electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection devices is very important for the protection of the ultrathin gate oxide. A double trigger silicon controlled rectifier device (DTSCR) can be used effectively for ESD protection because it can turn on relatively quickly. The turn-on process of the DTSCR is first studied, and a formula for calculating the turn-on time of the DTSCR is derived. It is found that the turn-on time of the DTSCR is determined mainly by the base transit time of the parasitic p-n-p and n-p-n transistors. Using the variation lateral base doping (VLBD) structure can reduce the base transit time, and a novel DTSCR device with a VLBD structure (VLBD_DTSCR) is proposed for ESD protection applications. The static-state and turn-on characteristics of the VLBD DTSCR device are simulated. The simulation results show that the VLBD structure can introduce a built-in electric field in the base region of the parasitic n-p-n and p--n-p bipolar transistors to accelerate the transport of free-carriers through the base region. In the same process and layout area, the turn-on time of the VLBD DTSCR device is at least 27% less than that of the DTSCR device with the traditional uniform base doping under the same value of the trigger current.

文摘This paper investigates the fnite-time consensus problem of multi-agent systems with single and double integrator dynamics,respectively.Some novel nonlinear protocols are constructed for frst-order and second-order leader-follower multi-agent systems,respectively.Based on the fnite-time control technique,the graph theory and Lyapunov direct method,some theoretical results are proposed to ensure that the states of all the follower agents can converge to its leader agent s state in fnite time.Finally,some simulation results are presented to illustrate the efectiveness of our theoretical results.

文摘The bionic joints composed of pneumatic muscles(PMs)can simulate the motion of biological joints.However,the PMs themselves have non-linear characteristics such as hysteresis and creep,which make it difficult to achieve high-precision trajectory tracking control of PM-driven robots.In order to effectively suppress the adverse effects of non-linearity on control performance and improve the dynamic performance of PM-driven legged robot,this study designs a double closed-loop control structure based on neural network.First,according to the motion model of the bionic joint,a mapping model between PM contraction force and joint torque is proposed.Second,a control strategy is designed for the inner loop of PM contraction force and the outer loop of bionic joint angle.In the inner control loop,a feedforward neuron Proportional-Integral-Derivative controller is designed based on the PM three-element model.In the control outer loop,a sliding mode robust controller with local model approximation is designed by using the radial basis function neural network approximation capability.Finally,it is verified by simulation and physical experiments that the designed control strategy is suitable for humanoid motion control of antagonistic PM joints,and it can satisfy the requirements of reliability,flexibility,and bionics during human–robot collaboration.
