A series of dynamic cyclic triaxial experiments were conducted through a cryogenic triaxial apparatus for exploring the influences of F-T cycles on the dynamic mechanical properties of frozen subgrade clay.According to the experimental results of frozen clay at the temperature of-10℃, the dynamic responses and microstructure variation at different times of F-T cycles(0, 1, 5, and 20 cycles) were explored in detail. It is experimentally demonstrated that the dynamic stress-strain curves and dynamic volumetric strain curves of frozen clay are significantly sparse after 20F-T cycles. Meanwhile, the cyclic number at failure(Nf) of the frozen specimen reduces by 89% after 20freeze-thaw cycles at a low ratio of the dynamic stress amplitude. In addition, with the increasing F-T cycles, the axial accumulative strain, residual deformation, and the value of damage variable of frozen clay increase, while the dynamic resilient modulus and dynamic strength decrease. Finally, the influence of the F-T cycles on the failure mechanisms of frozen clay was discussed in terms of the microstructure variation. These studies contribute to a better understanding of the fundamental changes in the dynamic mechanical of frozen soils exposed to F-T cycles in cold and seismic regions.展开更多

This paper focuses on theoretical and experimental analysis of the valve dynamic and thermal cycle for reciprocating compressor in the situation of stepless capacity regulation. The valve dynamics equation, gas forces for normal and back flow, and the cylinder pressure varying with suction valve unloader moment during compression thermal cycle are discussed. A new valve dynamic model based on L-K real gas state equation for reciprocating compressor is first deduced to reduce the calculation errors induced by the ideal gas state equation. The variations of valve dynamic and cylinder pressure during part of compression stroke are calculated numerically. The calculation results reveal the non-normal thermal cycle and operation condition of compressor in stepless capacity regulation situation. The numerical simulation results of the valve dynamic and thermal cycle parameters are also verified by the stepless capacity regulation experiments in the type of 3L-10/8 reciprocating compressor. So a multifunctional F–T cycle system was developed to imitate the groundwater recharge in the subgrade during the freezing process and a large number of dynamic triaxial experiments were conducted after the F–T cycles. Some significant factors including the F–T cycle number, compaction degree, confining pressure, cyclic deviator stress, loading frequency, and water content were investigated for the resilient modulus of soils. The experimental results indicated that the dynamic resilient modulus of the subgrade was negatively correlated with the cyclic deviator stress, F–T cycle number, and initial water content, whereas the degree of compaction, confining pressure, and loading frequency could enhance the resilient modulus. Furthermore, a modified model considering the F–T cycle number and stress state was established to predict the dynamic resilient modulus. The calculated results of this modified model were very close to the experimental results. Consequently, calculation of the resilient modulus for F–T cycles considering the dynamic load was appropriate. This study provides reference for research focusing on F–T cycles with groundwater supply and the dynamic resilient moduli of subgrade soils in seasonally frozen areas.展开更多

The influences of the processes (including horizontal advection, river nutrient load, active transport etc. ) on the phytoplankton biomass and its evolution are estimated. The Bohai Sea is a weak sink of the CO2 in the atmosphere. During the cycle, 13.7% of the gross production of the phytoplankton enter the higher trophic level and 76.8 % of it are consumed by the respiration itself. The nutrient reproduction comes mainly from the internal biogeochemical loop and the rem-ineralization is an important mechanism of the nutrient transfer from organic form to inorganic. Horizontal advection decreases the total biomass and the eutrophication in some sea areas. Change in the nutrient load of a river can only adjust the local system near its estuary. Controlling the input of the nutrient, which limits the alga growth, can be very useful in lessening the phytoplankton biomass.展开更多

A small scale waste heat recovery system with organic Rankine cycle was constructed and the dynamic behavior was presented. In the dynamic test, the pump was stopped and then started. In addition, there was a step change of the flue gas volume flow rate and the converter frequency of multistage pump, respectively. The results indicate that the working fluid flow rate has the shortest response time, followed by the expander inlet pressure and the expander inlet temperature. The operation frequency of pump is a key parameter for the ORC system. Due to a step change of pump frequency(39.49-35.24 Hz),the expander efficiency and thermal efficiency drop by 16% and 21% within 2 min, respectively. Besides, the saturated mixture can lead to an increase of the expander rotation speed.展开更多

It is found that, for the coatings on silicon substrate, the cracks form in the indentation corners and then propagate outward under Vickers indentation. The coating prepared using ion assisted energy of 800 eV shows the highest fracture resistance due to its compact structure. Under Rockwell indentation, only finer radial cracks are found in the CrN coating on AISI 52100 steel without ion assisting while in the condition of ion assisting energy of 800 eV, radial, lateral cracks and spalling appear in the vicinity of indentation. The fracture of CrN coatings under dynamic cycle impact is similar to fatigue. The impact fracture resistance of CrN coatings increases with the increase of ion assisting energy.展开更多

After freezethaw, nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) tests and impact loading tests were carried out, from which microscopic damage characteristics of sandstone and dynamic mechanical parameters were obtained. The results indicate that the porosity increases with the increase of cycle number, the rate of porosity growth descends at the beginning of freeze-thaw, yet accelerates after a certain number of cycles. The proportion of pores with different sizes changes dynamically and the multi-scale distribution of pores tends to develop on pore structure with the continuing impact of freeze-thaw and thawing. Dynamic compressive stress-strain curve of sandstone undergoing freeze-thaw can be divided into four phases, and the phase of compaction is inconspicuous compared with the static curve. Elastic modulus and dynamic peak intensity of sandstone gradually decrease with freeze-thaw cycles, while peak strain increases. The higher the porosity is, the more serious the degradation of dynamic intensity is. The porosity is of a polynomial relationship with the dynamic peak intensity.展开更多

This study provides reference for research focusing on F–T cycles with groundwater supply and the dynamic resilient moduli of subgrade soils in seasonally frozen areas.
文摘Two dynamic grey models DGM (1, 1) for the verification cycle and the lifecycle of measuring instrument based on time sequence and frequency sequence were set up, according to the statistical feature of examination data and weighting method. By a specific case, i.e. vernier caliper, it is proved that the fit precision and forecast precision of the models are much higher, the cycles are obviously different under different working conditions, and the forecast result of the frequency sequence model is better than that of the time sequence model. Combining dynamic grey model and auto-manufacturing case the controlling and information subsystems of verification cycle and the lifecycle based on information integration, multi-sensor controlling and management controlling were given. The models can be used in production process to help enterprise reduce error, cost and flaw.
文摘When the cycle slips take place in the attitude determination of a moving platform, the precision of the attitude will be impaired badly. A method of cycle slip detection and correction is proposed, which is suitable to the dynamic measurement using GPS carrier phase: the cycle slips detection is first achieved by triple difference observables, then the cycle slips correction is performed with baseline length constraint. The simulation results show that the proposed method is effective to the dynamic cycle slips problem.
文摘The carbon cycle of lower trophic level in the Bohai Sea is studied with a three-dimensional biological and physical coupled model. Controlling the input of the nutrient, which limits the alga growth, can be very useful in lessening the phytoplankton biomass.
文摘Studies were made of the symmetric tensile-compressive low cycle fatigue behaviour and the influence of dynamic strain aging(DSA)pre-treatment of 18-8 austenitic stainless steel. Within the testing amplitude range of strain.±0.5 % to±1.5 %,the three processes of cyclic hardening, cyclic saturation and cyclic softening were observed. In the same amplitude of strain, the peak stress of the samples pre-treated by DSA is higher than that of solid-solu- tion and cold working pre-treatment,but no remarkable differences of the fatigue lives of them were found.TEM observation shows that the uniform and stable dislocation networks with high density form after DSA pre-treatment,which increases the cyclic peak stress. The cyclic softening results from the low dislocation density and elongated cell structure with low energy.

文摘Dynamic performance is important to the controlling and monitoring of the organic Rankine cycle(ORC) system so to avoid the occurrence of unwanted conditions. Besides, the saturated mixture can lead to an increase of the expander rotation speed.

文摘Fracture behavior of CrN coatings deposited on the surface of silicon and AISI52100 steel by different energy ion beam assisted magnetron sputtering technique (IBAMS) was studied using indentation and dynamic cycle impact. The impact fracture resistance of CrN coatings increases with the increase of ion assisting energy.
文摘The paper gives a special dynamic pursuing ecological model on the bio-geochemical cycle of nitrogen in the whole range 9.6 million square kilometers of Chinese mainland, basing on the reservoir-content and flux-rate of nitrogen and among the four spheres: atmosphere, pedosphere, biosphere, and hydrosphere, and the law of bio-geochemical cycle of nitrogen, the model predicted the size of reservoir capacities and fluxes of nitrogen in each sphere. Through tested and verified, the model was proven reasonable and reliable.
文摘Let be an undirected graph. The maximum cycle packing problem in G then is to find a collection of edge-disjoint cycles Ciin G such that s is maximum. In general, the maximum cycle packing problem is NP-hard. In this paper, it is shown for even graphs that if such a collection satisfies the condition that it minimizes the quantityon the set of all edge-disjoint cycle collections, then it is a maximum cycle packing. The paper shows that the determination of such a packing can be solved by a dynamic programming approach. For its solution, an-shortest path procedure on an appropriate acyclic networkis presented. It uses a particular monotonous node potential.

文摘The Quantity Theory of Money and the Theory of Credit Creation have been the major streams in the study of the quantity of money.Nowadays, monetary theory is dominated by the Quantity Theory of Money because the Monetarist School and the Rational Expectation School are both the advocates of the Quantity Theory of Money, which has resulted in a sharp decrease of scholars studying the Theory of Credit Creation.Nevertheless, the two theories will ultimately converge.Given that reason,we propose a new theory-Dynamic Quantity Theory of Money in this paper,by which the unification of the Quantity Theory of Money and the Theory of Credit Creation can be achieved.Based on the Dynamic Quantity Theory of Money,we further put forward the Theory of Money Operation Cycle, the Theory of Monetary Compensation and Theory of Investment Compensation targeting economic crises, expound why Quantitative Easing monetary policy fails and why Quantitative Easing does not cause inflation in the short term under the premise of these theories, and demonstrate the necessity of fiscal investment for rescuing economic crisis from the perspective of theories of money.

文摘For understanding the rock microscopic damage and dynamic mechanical properties subjected to recurrent freeze-thaw cycles, experiments for five groups of homogeneous sandstone under different freeze-thaw cycles were conducted. The porosity is of a polynomial relationship with the dynamic peak intensity.
