The quantitative and diversity changes and metabolic responses of soil-bacterial communities in common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), jerusalem artichoke (Silphiurn perfoliatum L.) and evening primrose (A colypha australis L.) rhizospheric soils were thus examined using the method of carbon source utilization. The results indicated that there were various toxic effects of crude oil residues on the growth and reproduction of soil bacteria, but the weed rhizospheres could mitigate the toxic effects. Total heterotrophic counting colony-forming units (CFUs) in the rhizospheric soils were significantly higher than those in the non-rhizospheric soils. The culturable soil-bacterial CFUs in the jerusalem artichoke (S. perfoliatum) rhizosphere polluted with 0.50 kg/pot of crude oil residues were almost twice as much as those with 0.25 kg/pot and without the addition of crude oil residues. The addition of crude oil residues increased the difference in substrate evenness, substrate richness, and substrate diversity between non-rhizospheric and rhizospheric soils of T. officinale and A. australis, but there was no significant (p〉0.05) difference in the Shannon's diversity index between non-rhizospheric and rhizospheric soils of S. perfoliatum. The rhizospheric response of weed species to crude oil residues suggested that S. perfoliatum may be a potential weed species for the effective plant-microorganism bioremediation of contaminated soils by crude oil residues.展开更多

Sixty experimental rats were randomly divided into 5 groups (half males and half females in each group) as normal control group, high fat diet control group, and three groups (Group 1 Group 2, Group 3) that were fed with feedstuff with the contents of the seed oil of 2.0g/(kgd-1), 4.0g/(kgd-1) and 8.0g/(kgd-1), respec-tively. The indexes such as superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX) and anti-oxidation capacity (AOC) were measured by Reagent Kit method. It was found that the seed oil of the Korean pine could reduce the content of triglyc-eride and improve SOD as well as GSH-PX activity in serum. These indexes of the rats in Group 2 fed with Korean pine seed oil of 4.0 g/(kgd-1) reached the significant level and those of rats in Group 3 fed with the seed oil of 8.0 g/(kgd-1) reached the extremely significant level. The results indicated the seed oil of Korean pine had function of regulating the level of blood-fat and anti-ageing.展开更多

Firstly, we gave some sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence, the local and global stability of equilibria as well as non-existence of limit cycles. By using the cobweb model, some cases about the existence of interior equilibrium are also illustrated with numerical outcomes. These existence and stability conclusions of interior equilibrium are also suitable in corresponding homogeneous reaction-diffusion system subject to the Neumann boundary conditions. Secondly, we theoretically deduced that our system has saddle-node bifurcation, transcritical bifurcation and Hopf bifurcation under certain conditions. Finally, for the Hopf bifurcation, we choose d as the bifurcation parameter and presented some numerical simulations to verify feasibility and effectiveness of the theoretical derivation corresponding to the existence of yk, respectively. The Hopf bifurcations are supercritical and limit cycles generated by the critical points are stable.展开更多

The Gurtin-Murdoch surface elasticity theory is adopted to analyze the influences of surface stress on bending response of FG nanobeam. The material properties are assumed to vary along the thickness of FG nanobeam in power law. The bending governing equations are derived by using the minimum total potential energy principle and explicit formulas are derived for rotation angle and deflection of nanobeams with surface effects. Illustrative examples are implemented to give the bending deformation of FG nanobeam. The influences of the aspect ratio, gradient index, and surface stress on dimensionless deflection are discussed in detail.展开更多

We have found that the value of band gap increases with tensile strain and decreases with compressive strain. The variations of electrical conductivity,Seebeck coefficient, electronic thermal conductivity, and power factor with temperatures have been calculated. The Seebeck coefficient and power factor are observed to be modified strongly with strain. The value of power factor is found to be higher in comparison with the unstrained structure at 2% tensile strain. We have also calculated phonon dispersion, phonon density of states, specific heat at constant volume, and lattice thermal conductivity of material under uniaxial strain. The phonon properties and lattice thermal conductivity of Mg2Si under uniaxial strain have been explored first time in this report.展开更多

Seeds were soaked in the suspension for a period of two or three hours. During the growing season of the crop, no additional fertilizing and spraying of a biopesticide against diseases or pests occurred. Despite the soil having low fertility, low quantities of organic matter, and not having been before used for the cultivation of agricultural plants, this biofertilizer showed a strong stimulatory effect on the growth of seeds and seedlings of wheat and soybeans. The average germination and seed vigor increased by 1.5 - 2.0 times, and the phenophases were accelerated to three to five days. In all phases of vegetation, the ammonifying bacteria in the presence of an antagonist (a biological agent) developed rapidly and were constantly present in significant numbers in the rhizosphere. Streptomyces fumanus introduced into non-sterile soil entered into competition with the local soil microflora and had the ability to colonize the rhizosphere system of plants. The use of a formulation of Streptomyces gn-2 has improved the composition of rhizosphere microflora, attracting saprophytic microorganisms: ammonificators and oligotrophs. The presence of the biocontrol microorganism Streptomyces fumanus in the rhizosphere plays an important role in enhancing the growth and development of useful groups, such as nitrogen-fixing bacteria.展开更多

文摘The interfacial defects and energy barrier are main reasons for interfacial nonradiative recombination. In addition, poor perovskite crystallization and incomplete conversion of PbI_(2) to perovskite restrict further enhancement of the photovoltaic performance of the devices using sequential deposition.Herein,a buried interface stabilization strategy that relies on the synergy of fluorine(F)and sulfonyl(S=O)functional groups is proposed.A series of potassium salts containing halide and non-halogen anions are employed to modify SnO_(2)/perovskite buried interface.Multiple chemical bonds including hydrogen bond, coordination bond and ionic bond are realized, which strengthens interfacial contact and defect passivation effect. The chemical interaction between modification molecules and perovskite along with SnO_(2) heightens incessantly as the number of S=O and F augments. The chemical interaction strength between modifiers and perovskite as well as SnO_(2) gradually increases with the increase in the number of S=O and F.The defect passivation effect is positively correlated with the chemical interaction strength. The crystallization kinetics is regulated through the compromise between chemical interaction strength and wettability of substrates.Compared with Cl−,all non-halogen anions perform better in crystallization optimization, energy band regulation and defect passivation. The device with potassium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide achieves a tempting efficiency of 24.17%.

文摘The regenerative capacity of the central nervous system is very limited and few effective treatments are currently available for spinal cord injury. It is therefore a priority to develop new drugs that can promote structural and functional recovery after spinal cord injury.Previous studies have shown that peptides can promote substantial repair and regeneration of injured tissue. While amphibians have a pronounced ability to regenerate the spinal cord, few studies have investigated the effect of amphibian spinal cord-derived peptides on spinal cord injury. Here we report for the first time the successful identification and isolation of a new polypeptide,VD11(amino acid sequence:VDELWPPWLPC),from the spinal cord of an endemic Chinese amphibian(Odorrana schmackeri). In vitro experiments showed that VD11 promoted the secretion of nerve growth factor and brain-derived neurotrophic factor in BV2 cells stimulated with lipopolysaccharide,as well as the proliferation and synaptic elongation of PC12 cells subjected to hypoxia. In vivo experiments showed that intravertebral injection of VD11 markedly promoted recovery of motor function in rats with spinal cord injury, alleviated pathological damage, and promoted axonal regeneration.Furthermore,RNA sequencing and western blotting showed that VD11 may affect spinal cord injury through activation of the AMPK and AKT signaling pathways. In summary,we discovered a novel amphibian-derived peptide that promotes structural and functional recovery after spinal cord injury.

文摘Ecological effects of crude oil residues on weed rhizospheres are still vague. The rhizospheric response of weed species to crude oil residues suggested that S. perfoliatum may be a potential weed species for the effective plant-microorganism bioremediation of contaminated soils by crude oil residues.

文摘Mixed-species plantations generally exhibit higher ecosystem multifunctionality than monospecific plantations. However,it is unclear how tree species functional composition influences species mixture effects on ecosystem multifunctionality. We selected 171 monospecific and mixed-species plantations from nine regions across subtropical China, and quantified 13 key ecosystem functional properties to investigate how species mixture effects on ecosystem multifunctionality are modulated by functional diversity and identity. We found that ecosystem multifunctionality was significantly higher(p<0.05)in mixed tree plantations than in monospecific plantations except the mixed-conifer species plantations.Across all regions, ecosystem multifunctionality was significantly higher(p<0.05)in mixed conifer-broadleaf plantations than in monospecific plantations of the corresponding species, but not different between mixed and monospecific coniferous plantations. The magnitude of species mixture effects on ecosystem multifunctionality varied greatly with tree species compositions.Taking Cunninghamia lanceolata Lamb.as an example, the effects varied from a range of 2.0%–9.6%when mixed with a conifer species to 36%–87%when mixed with a broadleaf species. The functional diversity was the dominate driver shaping ecosystem multifunctionality, while functional identity,as expressed by community-weighted mean of specific leaf area, also had a positive effect on ecosystem multifunctionality through the increased below-ground nitrogen and phosphorus stocks regulated by specific leaf area of the mixing tree species. Our study highlights the important role of functional diversity in shaping ecosystem multifunctionality across region-wide environmental conditions.Mixed conifer-broadleaf tree plantations with distinct functional traits benefit the enhancement of ecosystem multifunctionality, and the magnitude of species mixture effects is modulated by the functional identity of tree species composition;those relationships deserve a special consideration in multifunctional management context of subtropical plantations.
文摘The effect of seed oil of Korean pine (Pinus koraiensis) on the rats' blood-fat and its anti-ageing function was stud-ied for appraising the efficacy of the seed oil of Korean pine. The results indicated the seed oil of Korean pine had function of regulating the level of blood-fat and anti-ageing.

文摘Composite polymer electrolytes(CPEs)are considered to be the most promising to break through the performance and safety limitations of traditional lithium-ion batteries because of their excellent electrochemical and mechanical properties.Aiming at the performance limitations of the most common polyether matrix such as poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO),a novel poly(cyclocarbonate-ether)polymer matrix was prepared by in-situ thermal curing, the weaker interaction between its C=O bond and Li^(+)can promote the rapid transport of Li^(+).Adding ionic liquid and active filler LLZTO to the matrix can synergistically reduce the crystallinity of matrix and promote the dissociation of lithium salts. In addition,a 3D functional skeleton made of polyacrylonitrile(PAN)and lithium fluoride(LiF)can greatly improve the mechanical strength of polymer matrix after cold pressing, and Li F is also conducive to interface stability. The thickness of the optimal sample(VP6L/CPL)was only 25μm,and its ionic conductivity, lithium ion transference number, and electrochemical stability window were as high as 7.17×10^(-4)S cm^(-1)(25℃),0.54 and 5.4 V,respectively, while the mechanical strength reaches 6.1 MPa,which can fully inhibit the growth of lithium dendrites. The excellent electrochemical performance and mechanical strength enable the assembled Li|VP6L/CPL|Li battery to be continuously charged for over 200 h and cycled stably for more than 2300 h,and Li|VP6L/CPL|LFP battery can be stably cycled for more than 400 and 550 cycles at 1 C(40℃)and 0.5 C(25℃),respectively.

文摘This study investigates the size-dependent wave propagation behaviors under the thermoelectric loads of porous functionally graded piezoelectric(FGP) nanoplates deposited in a viscoelastic foundation. It is assumed that(i) the material parameters of the nanoplates obey a power-law variation in thickness and(ii) the uniform porosity exists in the nanoplates. The combined effects of viscoelasticity and shear deformation are considered by using the Kelvin-Voigt viscoelastic model and the refined higher-order shear deformation theory. The scale effects of the nanoplates are captured by employing nonlocal strain gradient theory(NSGT).The motion equations are calculated in accordance with Hamilton’s principle. Finally, the dispersion characteristics of the nanoplates are numerically determined by using a harmonic solution. The results indicate that the nonlocal parameters(NLPs) and length scale parameters(LSPs) have exactly the opposite effects on the wave frequency. In addition,it is found that the effect of porosity volume fractions(PVFs) on the wave frequency depends on the gradient indices and damping coefficients. When these two values are small, the wave frequency increases with the volume fraction.By contrast,at larger gradient index and damping coefficient values, the wave frequency decreases as the volume fraction increases.
文摘In this paper, we mainly considered the dynamical behavior of a predator-prey system with Holling type II functional response and Allee-like effect on predator, including stability analysis of equilibria and Hopf bifurcation. The Hopf bifurcations are supercritical and limit cycles generated by the critical points are stable.

文摘The bending responses of functionally graded (FG) nanobeams with simply supported edges are investigated based on Timoshenko beam theory in this article. The influences of the aspect ratio, gradient index, and surface stress on dimensionless deflection are discussed in detail.
文摘BACKGROUND Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis(IPF)is classified under fibrotic interstitial pneumonia, characterized by a chronic and progressive course. The predominant clinical features of IPF include dyspnea and pulmonary dysfunction.AIM To assess the effects of pirfenidone in the early treatment of IPF on lung function in patients.METHODS A retrospective analysis was performed on 113 patients with IPF who were treated in our hospital from November 2017 to January 2023.These patients were divided into two groups:control group(n=53)and observation group(n=60).In the control group, patients received routine therapy in combination with methylprednisolone tablets, while those in the observation group received routine therapy together with pirfenidone. After applying these distinct treatment approaches to the two groups,we assessed several parameters, including the overall effectiveness of clinical therapy, the occurrence of adverse reactions(e.g.,nausea,vomiting,and anorexia),symptom severity scores, pulmonary function index levels, inflammatory marker levels, and the 6-min walk distance before and after treatment in both groups.RESULTS The observation group exhibited significantly higher rates than the control group after therapy, with a clear distinction(P<0.05).After treatment, the observation group experienced significantly fewer adverse reactions than the control group, with a noticeable difference(P<0.05).When analyzing the symptom severity scores between the two groups of patients after treatment, the observation group had significantly lower scores than the control group, with a distinct difference(P<0.05).When comparing the pulmonary function index levels between the two groups of patients after therapy, the observation group displayed significantly higher levels than the control group, with a noticeable difference(P<0.05).Evaluating the inflammatory marker data(C-reactive protein,interleukin-2[IL-2],and IL-8)between the two groups of patients after therapy, the observation group exhibited significantly lower levels than the control group, with significant disparities(P<0.05).Comparison of the 6-min walking distance data between the two groups of patients after treatment showed that the observation group achieved significantly greater distances than the control group, with a marked difference(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Prompt initiation of pirfenidone treatment in individuals diagnosed with IPF can enhance pulmonary function, elevate inflammatory factor levels, and increase the distance covered in the 6-min walk test. This intervention is conducive to effectively decreasing the occurrence of adverse reactions in patients.

文摘In this work, the effect of uniaxial strain on electronic and thermoelectric properties of magnesium silicide using density functional theory(DFT) and Boltzmann transport equations has been studied. The phonon properties and lattice thermal conductivity of Mg2Si under uniaxial strain have been explored first time in this report.
文摘In the present study, a biofertilizer on the basis of Streptomyces fumanus gn-2 was used for the treatment of wheat and soybean seeds (dose 104 spore/ml) before planting them in soil with low fertility in order to determine the effect of this biological agent on germination rate;the growth of seedlings, shoots, and the maturation phase of plants;the rhizosphere’s functional biodiversity;and the resistance of these plants to pathogens. The presence of the biocontrol microorganism Streptomyces fumanus in the rhizosphere plays an important role in enhancing the growth and development of useful groups, such as nitrogen-fixing bacteria.
文摘BACKGROUND Early diabetic nephropathy(DN)is a complication of diabetes mellitus. It mainly affects kidney microvessels and glomerular function, and its timely and effective treatment is critical for early DN.However, the effects of treatments comprising simple Western medicine are not optimal. With the promotion and implementation of integrated Chinese and western medicine treatments, remarkable results have been achieved for many diseases. To this end,we explored the clinical efficacy of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicines for the treatment of early DN.AIM To investigate the effect of sitagliptin tablets combined with Yiqi yangyin huoxue decoction on clinical efficacy and hemorheology in patients with early DN.METHODS Through a retrospective analysis,123 patients with early DN were admitted to the endocrinology clinic of the Changzhou NO.7 People’s Hospital from January 2021 to October 2022 and were selected as study subjects. After rigorous screening,100 patients with early DN were enrolled. The control group(CG,n=50)and the observation group(OG,n=50)were divided according to the treatment method. The CG were treated with sitagliptin, and the OG were treated with sitagliptin plus the Yiqi yangyin huoxue decoction. Both groups were treated for 3 mo.For both groups, the baseline data and clinical efficacy were compared, and changes in blood glucose levels, lipid levels, renal function, and hematological indicators before(T0)and after(T1)treatment were assessed.RESULTS The total effective rate for the OG was 94.00%and that of the CG was 80.00%(P<0.05).After treatment(T1),the levels of fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial glucose, total cholesterol, triacylglycerol, and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol in OG patients were obviously lower than those in the CG(P<0.05),and cystatin C,homocysteine, urinary microalbumin, and blood creatinine values in OG patients were also obviously lower than those in the CG(P<0.05);erythrocyte deposition, plasma viscosity, whole blood high shear viscosity, and whole blood low shear viscosity were markedly lower in OG patients than in the CG(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Sitagliptin combined with Yiqi yangyin huoxue decoction has a remarkable effect when used to treat patients with early DN.Further,it is helpful in improving hemorheological indices and controlling disease progression.

文摘A size-dependent continuum-based model is developed for the functionally graded(FG)Timoshenko micro-beams with viscoelastic properties,in which material parameters vary according to the power law along its axial direction. The size effect is incorporated by employing the modified couple stress theory and Kelvin-Voigt viscoelastic model,so that viscous components are included in the stress and the deviatoric segments of the symmetric couple stress tensors. The components of strain, curvature, stress and couple stress are formulated by combining them with the Timoshenko beam theory.Based on the Hamilton principle, the governing differential equations and boundary conditions for the micro-beam are expressed with arbitrary beam section shape and arbitrary type of loads. The size effect,FG effect,Poisson effect, and the influence of the beam section shape on the mechanical behaviors of viscoelastic FG micro-beams are investigated by taking the simply supported micro-beam subjected to point load as an example. Results show that the size effect on deflection, normal stress and couple stress are obvious when the size of the micro-beam is small enough, and the FG effects are obvious when the size of the micro-beam is large enough. Moreover, the Poisson ratio influences the size effect significantly and the beam section shape is also an important factor influencing the mechanical behavior of the micro-beam.
