The comprehensive evaluation of the co-designers for the collaborative design resources has been done from different aspects using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) ,and according to the evaluation results,the candidates are determined. Meanwhile,based on the principle of minimum cost,and starting from the relations between the design tasks and the corresponding co-designers,the optimizing selection model of the collaborators is established and one novel genetic combined with simulated annealing algorithm is proposed to realize the optimization. It overcomes the defects of the genetic algorithm which may lead to the premature convergenee and local optimization if used individually. Through the application of this method in the ship collaborative design system,it proves the feasibility and provides a quantitative method for the optimizing selection of the design resources.展开更多

The study shows that the sites have many problems such as discordance of land use, severity of spatial segregation, low rate of site utilization. To solve these problems, development approaches of site space resources within 1,000 m around the site area are further explored. The approaches include four aspects: characteristics of land use, functional composite, walking guide and shuttle transportation. The Qilian Mountain permafrost area located in the northern of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is a favorable place for natural gas hydrate formation and enrichment,due to its well-developed fractures and abundant gas sources.U...The Qilian Mountain permafrost area located in the northern of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is a favorable place for natural gas hydrate formation and enrichment,due to its well-developed fractures and abundant gas sources.Understanding the formation and distribution of multi-component gas hydrates in fractures is crucial in accurately evaluating the hydrate reservoir resources in this area.The hydrate formation experiments were carried out using the core samples drilled from hydrate-bearing sediments in Qilian Mountain permafrost area and the multi-component gas with similar composition to natural gas hydrates in Qilian Mountain permafrost area.The formation and distribution characteristics of multi-component gas hydrates in core samples were observed in situ by X-ray Computed Tomography(X-CT)under high pressure and low temperature conditions.Results show that hydrates are mainly formed and distributed in the fractures with good connectivity.The ratios of volume of hydrates formed in fractures to the volume of fractures are about 96.8%and 60.67%in two different core samples.This indicates that the fracture surface may act as a favorable reaction site for hydrate formation in core samples.Based on the field geological data and the experimental results,it is preliminarily estimated that the inventory of methane stored in the fractured gas hydrate in Qilian Mountain permafrost area is about 8.67×1013 m3,with a resource abundance of 8.67×108 m3/km2.This study demonstrates the great resource potential of fractured gas hydrate and also provides a new way to further understand the prospect of natural gas hydrate and other oil and gas resources in Qilian Mountain permafrost area.展开更多

They constantly interact with and rely heavily on complex resources. However, they often operate in resource-limited environments yet they often handle massive data, both in size and complexity. Software application services, processes or transactions compete for the much required but scarce resources. This creates the need to improve the existing resource allocation and management issue in such operational environments, as well as propose new ones, if necessary. Software developers try to analyze application operation environment using diverse analysis and design methods. We jointly analyses the effects on the performance of multimedia transmission from video coding rate at the application layer as well as the power control at the physical layer. This proposed joint power and subcarrier allocation algorithm in MIMO OFDM systems enables us both to overcome the challenge of full CSI (channel state information) with RD (the rate-distortion) to make minimum of the distortion of each users under delay and power constraints. Simulation results show that the proposed optimal subcarrier allocation algorithm improves the multimedia transmission quality considerably through the comparison with the resource allocation algorithms only use a single layer of information.展开更多
Optimal resource allocation with an objective of maximizing the system capacity is an NP-hard problem in multihop cellular networks. Hence, different heuristic algorithms have been developed over the years that would ...Optimal resource allocation with an objective of maximizing the system capacity is an NP-hard problem in multihop cellular networks. Hence, different heuristic algorithms have been developed over the years that would improve the network system capacity. In this paper, a novel cluster-based architecture is proposed for a two-hop cellular network whereby the transmission distance between any communicating pair is restricted to half the cell radius. In this design, a given radio resource is used by two simultaneously communicating pairs in every hexagonal cell, but for only half the time slot period. The characteristic feature of this cluster-based design is that it enables a frequency reuse ratio of one. The proposed hierarchical system is analyzed and tested under realistic propagation conditions including lognormal shadowing. It has been observed that the system capacity of a cluster-based design is 2.5 times that obtained from the single-hop cellular system with no relaying. In addition, the cluster-based design achieves higher capacity compared to state-of-the-art two-hop algorithms. This is an important finding since the hierarchical cluster-based approach has fewer degrees of freedom in the selection of the routing path for the end-to-end connection. Practical routing algorithms should be able to benefit from this.展开更多
Energy harvesting(EH)technology in wireless communication is a promising approach to extend the lifetime of future wireless networks.A cross-layer optimal adaptation policy for a point-to-point energy harvesting(EH)wi...Energy harvesting(EH)technology in wireless communication is a promising approach to extend the lifetime of future wireless networks.A cross-layer optimal adaptation policy for a point-to-point energy harvesting(EH)wireless communication system with finite buffer constraints over a Rayleigh fading channel based on a Semi-Markov Decision Process(SMDP)is investigated.Most adaptation strategies in the literature are based on channeldependent adaptation.However,besides considering the channel,the state of the energy capacitor and the data buffer are also involved when proposing a dynamic modulation policy for EH wireless networks.Unlike the channeldependent policy,which is a physical layer-based optimization,the proposed cross-layer dynamic modulation policy is a guarantee to meet the overflow requirements of the upper layer by maximizing the throughput while optimizing the transmission power and minimizing the dropping packets.Based on the states of the channel conditions,data buffer,and energy capacitor,the scheduler selects a particular action corresponding to the selected modulation constellation.Moreover,the packets are modulated into symbols according to the selected modulation type to be ready for transmission over the Rayleigh fading channel.Simulations are used to test the performance of the proposed cross-layer policy scheme,which shows that it significantly outperforms the physical layer channel-dependent policy scheme in terms of throughput only.展开更多

文摘Based on a stochastic wire length distributed model, the interconnect distribution of a three-dimensional integrated circuit (3D IC) is predicted exactly. Using the results of this model, a global interconnect design window for a giga-scale system-on-chip (SOC) is established by evaluating the constraints of 1) wiring resource, 2) wiring bandwidth, and 3) wiring noise. In comparison to a two-dimensional integrated circuit (2D IC) in a 130-nm and 45-nm technology node, the design window expands for a 3D IC to improve the design reliability and system performance, further supporting 3D IC application in future integrated circuit design.
文摘Computational resources have such a significant influence on the operation of any software application, it is therefore important to understand how these applications utilize these resources. Modern resource-intensive enterprise and scientific applications are creating a growing demand for high performance computing infrastructures. They constantly interact with and rely heavily on complex resources. However, they often operate in resource-limited environments yet they often handle massive data, both in size and complexity. Software application services, processes or transactions compete for the much required but scarce resources. This creates the need to improve the existing resource allocation and management issue in such operational environments, as well as propose new ones, if necessary. Software developers try to analyze application operation environment using diverse analysis and design methods. Our aim therefore, is to design a tool that is able to work with a hybrid of adaptive and prediction-based resource management and allocation models while applying the priority based job scheduling algorithm to try and solve the application resource management challenges currently being faced in such environments, even if, partially.
文摘In this paper, aiming to improve the quality of multimedia transmission while satisfying the quality of service (QoS) requirements, we propose an optimal subcarrier allocation by jointly considering the video coding rate and the available power resource. We jointly analyses the effects on the performance of multimedia transmission from video coding rate at the application layer as well as the power control at the physical layer. This proposed joint power and subcarrier allocation algorithm in MIMO OFDM systems enables us both to overcome the challenge of full CSI (channel state information) with RD (the rate-distortion) to make minimum of the distortion of each users under delay and power constraints. Simulation results show that the proposed optimal subcarrier allocation algorithm improves the multimedia transmission quality considerably through the comparison with the resource allocation algorithms only use a single layer of information.
文摘Optimal resource allocation with an objective of maximizing the system capacity is an NP-hard problem in multihop cellular networks. Hence, different heuristic algorithms have been developed over the years that would improve the network system capacity. In this paper, a novel cluster-based architecture is proposed for a two-hop cellular network whereby the transmission distance between any communicating pair is restricted to half the cell radius. In this design, a given radio resource is used by two simultaneously communicating pairs in every hexagonal cell, but for only half the time slot period. The characteristic feature of this cluster-based design is that it enables a frequency reuse ratio of one. The proposed hierarchical system is analyzed and tested under realistic propagation conditions including lognormal shadowing. It has been observed that the system capacity of a cluster-based design is 2.5 times that obtained from the single-hop cellular system with no relaying. In addition, the cluster-based design achieves higher capacity compared to state-of-the-art two-hop algorithms. This is an important finding since the hierarchical cluster-based approach has fewer degrees of freedom in the selection of the routing path for the end-to-end connection. Practical routing algorithms should be able to benefit from this.

文摘Energy harvesting(EH)technology in wireless communication is a promising approach to extend the lifetime of future wireless networks.A cross-layer optimal adaptation policy for a point-to-point energy harvesting(EH)wireless communication system with finite buffer constraints over a Rayleigh fading channel based on a Semi-Markov Decision Process(SMDP)is investigated.Most adaptation strategies in the literature are based on channeldependent adaptation.However,besides considering the channel,the state of the energy capacitor and the data buffer are also involved when proposing a dynamic modulation policy for EH wireless networks.Unlike the channeldependent policy,which is a physical layer-based optimization,the proposed cross-layer dynamic modulation policy is a guarantee to meet the overflow requirements of the upper layer by maximizing the throughput while optimizing the transmission power and minimizing the dropping packets.Based on the states of the channel conditions,data buffer,and energy capacitor,the scheduler selects a particular action corresponding to the selected modulation constellation.Moreover,the packets are modulated into symbols according to the selected modulation type to be ready for transmission over the Rayleigh fading channel.Simulations are used to test the performance of the proposed cross-layer policy scheme,which shows that it significantly outperforms the physical layer channel-dependent policy scheme in terms of throughput only.
文摘The duty of educators and politicians is to find new policies and programs that should include creative industries such as designing, together with the teaching of new technologies to make it possible for a greater portion of the population to have access to this knowledge, which will enable it to be included in the job market. This type of training also means that the language of the educators will change .We need to develop a new multilinguistic, multimedia, and multidisciplinary conception oriented towards the learning activities of the student. Our goals is to transform multimedia design into an important creative industry in our region, we created "Project Untitled" at Universidad Maimonides. This is an artistic collective undertaking that includes teachers, directors, and students of the School of Multimedia Communication and Design. The goal of this project is to cooperate with learning paradigms in order to reach the quality that a true society of knowledge needs. Education is fundamental for the development of any nation, including the "periphery countries", which can contribute a different point of view, and which, in this sense, can offer wider possibilities, precisely because these countries have the "critical distance" that, probably, core countries are short of.
文摘With the increasing requirement of a higher living quality and the growing awareness of energy saving, how to improve the indoor comfort level and to reduce the expenditure of energy and slow down the rate of natural resource consumption is becoming increasingly important. The theory of open-plan housing is able to provide a more flexible and adaptive space for the users and bring sustainable and economic benefit in the way of making full use of construction materials. Sustainable architecture design, as a method to respond the phenomenon, is able to low down the building' s energy consumption and has enormous potentials in creation of sustainable living environment and a high-quality dwelling condition. The primary aim of this research is to create a new sustainable architecture design method for occupancy by integrating openplan housing theory and application of sustainable technologies. Numerical simulation by computer program is applied in order to investigate and evaluate the possibility of this method in teruas of improving indoor comfort level and energy-saving capacity.
