Focus on the key problems and dilemmas that arise in developing eco-industrial parks in China

Despite the widespread incorporation of sustainable development into policy discourses, actually achieving the win-win-win scenario of economic, environmental and social development continues to be problematic. Advocates of industrial ecology suggest that shifting the basis of industrial production from a linear to a closed loop system, these gains can be achieved. In recent years, concepts drawn from industrial ecology have been used to plan and develop eeo-industrial parks (EIPs) that seek to increase business competitiveness, reduce waste and pollution, create jobs and improve working conditions. Despite a growing interest in EIPs, there have been few empirically informed studies that seek to explore the potential contribution such EIPs may make to sustainable development. This paper contributes to a developing sympathetic critique of industrial ecology by focusing on the key problems and dilemmas that arise in the course of developing eco-industrial parks, drawing upon empirical work conducted in China. The paper draws upon both an extensive survey of EIPs and in-depth interviews conducted with a range of stakeholders at some sites in China. As the paper reveals, EIPs in China are in their early stages and likewise their contribution to economic development and environmental policy, let alone social policies, is complicated and inchoate. The empirical material reveals that key features of industrial ecology such as inter-firm networking and collaboration in the form of materials interchange and energycascading are either absent or in the early planning stages. In each of the cases studied what is emerging is a form of EIP partly determined by the geographic setting and broader economic realities of the locality. While collaborative behavior between firms is central to EIP development if the potential benefits of industrial ecology are to be realized, it is important to realize that such behavior is difficult to develop from scratch through policy intervention. In conclusion, the paper suggests that expectations must be realistic for the community and location in question. As part of that realism, EIP projects must be designed to allow for a gradual approach, and each phase needs to be financially viable. 展开更多

This paper emphasizes that the external .effect of an EIP is its main characteristic of technoeconomic evaluation for eco-industrial park project. From the view of the property, rights, the EIP's product is typicalty public-private. The government should take some inca.rares for the quantitative analysis on ecological positive externalities of the enterprises in EIP, and also should adopt Coase's Theorem, which supports that the market transaction is the best way to deal with positive externalities (external economics or diseconoraics), or Pigou's Theorem, which holds that the government anti-positive externalities programs are the best way to cope with positive externalities, to internalize the EIP's external effects, which is also a fundamental tool to encourage investors to actively invest in EIP projects, Furthermore. this paper thinks that the EIP 's income should be equal to the income of staple products of the private property, and that of its by-products of the public property. According to this principle, this paper has put forward three major indicators, net present value (NPV), internal rate of renan (IRR), and investment repayment period (IRP), which are also extensively used indicators in ardinary project techno-economic evaluation model to evaluate EIP technoeconomic effects. Theoretically, the indicatory not only can be used in EIP project evaluation, but also can provide a quantitative measure toot for the government to support EIP's construction to the maximum. Sustainable waste management in the industrial ecology perspective brings enormous challenges to the existing methodology of waste analysis at the industrial park (IP) scale. In this study, a four-step method was proposed for industrial solid waste (ISW) flow analysis of eco-industrial parks (EIPs) and applied to two IPs in eastern China. According to a park-wide census of 619 industrial enterprises and 105 questionnaires by a survey from 2006 to 2008, the results indicated that: 1) at the enterprise scale, more than 60% of enterprises were small- ISW-generation enterprises which encountered great difficulties on effective waste management; 2) at the IP scale, though the two IPs have set up their own environmental management systems and passed the ISO 14001 certification, the efficiencies of the ISW manage- ment systems have yet to be improved in the industrial ecology perspective; and 3) at the regional scale, more than 97% of ISW flowed within the provincial region, indicating that the provincial governments prevented the wastes from flowing into their own "back yard". Effective waste management should be placed in a broader perspective. Approaches to sustainable waste management may include wastes exchange, efficient waste and information flow, virtual EIP, waste minimization clubs and regionalization of waste management. 展开更多

改良Parks切口斜视手术后干眼症患者炎症因子与眼表功能的关系研究

目的:探析改良Parks切口斜视手术后干眼症患者血清炎症因子水平变化情况,并分析其与眼表功能的关联性。方法:纳入2021年3月至2024年3月本院收治的斜视患者122例,所有患者接受改良Parks切口手术,观察术后发生干眼症患者炎症因子水平变化... 目的:探析改良Parks切口斜视手术后干眼症患者血清炎症因子水平变化情况,并分析其与眼表功能的关联性。方法:纳入2021年3月至2024年3月本院收治的斜视患者122例,所有患者接受改良Parks切口手术,观察术后发生干眼症患者炎症因子水平变化,并分析其水平变化与眼表功能的关系。结果:改良Parks切口斜视手术后干眼症发生率为21.31%(26/122),术后干眼症患者血清IL-6、MMP-2、TNF-α、TLR4水平明显高于非干眼症患者,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05);干眼症患者与非干眼症患者OSDI评分比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),Pearson相关性分析显示:IL-6、MMP-2、TNF-α、TLR4水平与眼表功能障碍程度成正相关性,相关性均有统计学意义(r=0.482、0.510、0.351、0.333,P<0.05);线性回归显示:IL-6、MMP-2、TNF-α、TLR4是影响眼表功能的危险因素,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05);ROC曲线分析显示:血清IL-6、MMP-2、TNF-α、TLR4评估眼表功能障碍的AUC分别为0.668、0.752、0.743、0.766,而IL-6+MMP-2+TNF-α+TLR4四项联合评估眼表功能障碍的AUC为0.873,最大约登指数下的敏感度和特异度分别为0.769、0.854。结论:改良Parks切口斜视手术后干眼症患者血清IL-6、MMP-2、TNF-α、TLR4等因子水平异常升高,并与眼表功能障碍程度相关,对眼表功能障碍有较高的评估价值。 展开更多

目的:探究Parks改良虚挂线配合经肛括约肌间切开(TROPIS)术在高位括约肌间肛瘘患者中的应用效果。方法:选取2021年2月至2023年10月901医院收治的高位括约肌间肛瘘患者92例,随机数字表法分为两组,每组46例,对照组采取切开挂线术,观察组采... 目的:探究Parks改良虚挂线配合经肛括约肌间切开(TROPIS)术在高位括约肌间肛瘘患者中的应用效果。方法:选取2021年2月至2023年10月901医院收治的高位括约肌间肛瘘患者92例,随机数字表法分为两组,每组46例,对照组采取切开挂线术,观察组采取Parks改良虚挂线配合TROPIS术治疗。比较两组手术相关指标、疼痛及创面愈合、并发症、复发率及手术前后炎症应激[白介素-1(IL-1)、髓过氧化物酶(MPO)、白介素-6(IL-6)]、括约肌功能及创面局部微环境。结果:观察组术中出血量为(8.32±2.17)mL,低于对照组的(21.46±4.76)mL,手术及水肿消退、创面渗出物消失、创面完全愈合等时间分别为(35.57±6.59)min、(5.12±1.38)d、(6.24±1.96)d、(16.52±2.74)d均低于对照组的(48.26±8.17)min、(6.53±1.47)d、(7.38±1.63)d、(18.27±3.51)d,(P<0.05);术后1d、3d、7d、14d观察组疼痛评分为(4.14±0.63)d、(3.02±0.51)d、(1.84±0.53)d、(0.82±0.29)d,低于对照组的(5.35±0.56)d、(5.35±0.56)d、(3.16±0.87)d、(1.97±0.35)d,(P<0.05);术后7d、14d,观察组创面愈合优于对照组(P<0.05);术后1d、3d、7d观察组血清MPO、IL-1、IL-6水平低于对照组(P<0.05);术后7d观察组厚壁菌门比例为(86.35±3.69)%,高于对照组的(74.18±4.54)%,变形菌门、放线菌门比例为(7.25±1.00)%、(1.87±0.24)%,低于对照组的(16.37±1.36)%、(2.65±0.32)%,(P<0.05);术后1、3个月观察组Wexner失禁评分低于对照组,肛管静息压、肛管最大收缩压高于对照组(P<0.05);观察组并发症发生率8.70%低于对照组23.91%(P<0.05);随访6个月,观察组复发率2.17%与对照组10.87%相比,无显著差异(P>0.05)。结论:Parks改良虚挂线配合TROPIS术可减轻患者括约肌损伤,降低炎症应激及并发症风险,维持创面局部微环境,加速术后康复进程。 展开更多

It often leads to deviations between the final parking posture and the target posture. These deviations can lead to partial occupancy of adjacent parking lots, which poses a safety threat to vehicles parked in these parking lots. However, previous studies have not addressed this issue. In this paper, we aim to evaluate the impact of parking deviation of existing vehicles next to the target parking lot(PDEVNTPL) on the automatic ego vehicle(AEV) parking, in terms of safety, comfort, accuracy, and efficiency of parking. A segmented parking training framework(SPTF) based on soft actor-critic(SAC) is proposed to improve parking performance. In the proposed method, the SAC algorithm incorporates strategy entropy into the objective function, to enable the AEV to learn parking strategies based on a more comprehensive understanding of the environment. Additionally, the SPTF simplifies complex parking tasks to maintain the high performance of deep reinforcement learning(DRL). The experimental results reveal that the PDEVNTPL has a detrimental influence on the AEV parking in terms of safety, accuracy, and comfort, leading to reductions of more than 27%, 54%, and 26%respectively. However, the SAC-based SPTF effectively mitigates this impact, resulting in a considerable increase in the parking success rate from 71% to 93%. Furthermore, the heading angle deviation is significantly reduced from 2.25 degrees to 0.43degrees. 展开更多

Parkinson's disease is characterized by the selective degeneration of dopamine neurons in the nigrostriatal pathway and dopamine deficiency in the striatum.The precise reasons behind the specific degeneration of these dopamine neurons remain largely elusive.Genetic investigations have identified over 20 causative PARK genes and 90 genomic risk loci associated with both familial and sporadic Parkinson's disease.Notably,several of these genes are linked to the synaptic vesicle recycling process,particularly the clathrinmediated endocytosis pathway.This suggests that impaired synaptic vesicle recycling might represent an early feature of Parkinson's disease,followed by axonal degeneration and the eventual loss of dopamine cell bodies in the midbrain via a"dying back"mechanism.Recently,several new animal and cellular models with Parkinson's disease-linked mutations affecting the endocytic pathway have been created and extensively characterized.These models faithfully recapitulate certain Parkinson's disease-like features at the animal,circuit,and cellular levels,and exhibit defects in synaptic membrane trafficking,further supporting the findings from human genetics and clinical studies.In this review,we will first summarize the cellular and molecular findings from the models of two Parkinson's disease-linked clathrin uncoating proteins:auxilin(DNAJC6/PARK19)and synaptojanin 1(SYNJ1/PARK20).The mouse models carrying these two PARK gene mutations phenocopy each other with specific dopamine terminal pathology and display a potent synergistic effect.Subsequently,we will delve into the involvement of several clathrin-mediated endocytosis-related proteins(GAK,endophilin A1,SAC2/INPP5 F,synaptotagmin-11),identified as Parkinson's disease risk factors through genome-wide association studies,in Parkinson's disease pathogenesis.We will also explore the direct or indirect roles of some common Parkinson's disease-linked proteins(alpha-synuclein(PARK1/4),Parkin(PARK2),and LRRK2(PARK8))in synaptic endocytic trafficking.Additionally,we will discuss the emerging novel functions of these endocytic proteins in downstream membrane traffic pathways,particularly autophagy.Given that synaptic dysfunction is considered as an early event in Parkinson's disease,a deeper understanding of the cellular mechanisms underlying synaptic vesicle endocytic trafficking may unveil novel to rgets for early diagnosis and the development of interventional therapies for Parkinson's disease.Future research should aim to elucidate why generalized synaptic endocytic dysfunction leads to the selective degeneration of nigrostriatal dopamine neurons in Parkinson's disease. 展开更多

目的观察内眦开大术联合改良Park法重睑成形术在双侧单睑伴内眦赘皮患者中的应用效果。方法选取82例于2020年9月至2023年9月在贵州医科大学附属乌当医院就诊的有求美需求的双侧单睑伴内眦赘皮患者,均为女性,按照治疗方式不同分为研究组... 目的观察内眦开大术联合改良Park法重睑成形术在双侧单睑伴内眦赘皮患者中的应用效果。方法选取82例于2020年9月至2023年9月在贵州医科大学附属乌当医院就诊的有求美需求的双侧单睑伴内眦赘皮患者,均为女性,按照治疗方式不同分为研究组和对照组,各41例(82只眼)。对照组采取内眦开大术联合传统Park重睑成形术,研究组采取内眦开大术联合改良Park法重睑成形术。比较两组患者术中出血量、瘢痕消失时间、术后满意度和临床疗效。结果研究组术中出血量少于对照组,手术时间短于对照组,瘢痕消失时间早于对照组,术后总满意度高于对照组患者,术后7天眼睑宽度小于对照组,眼裂高度大于对照组,术后半年上睑提肌肌力大于对照组,临床疗效总有效率高于对照组,并发症总发生率小于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。结论内眦开大术联合改良Park法重睑成形术用于治疗双侧单睑伴内眦赘皮临床疗效较好,术中出血量少,术后并发症少,瘢痕消失时间早,恢复速度快,重睑形态对称自然,患者满意度高,值得临床应用。 展开更多

This paper firstly conducts the comparative analysis between traditional and ecological industry as well as traditional and modem industrial engineering, and in- dicates that eco-industrial engineering is an inevitable choice for sustainable development of modem industrial engineering; Then, based on industrial ecology, environmental economics and sustain- able development theory, the connotation and definition of eco- industrial engineering are proposed, and the theoretical and practi- cal development of the concepts of eco-industrial engineering are further investigated. Furthermore, the research subject, research content, academic system architecture and evaluation methods of eco-industrial engineering are discussed. Finally, combining the current scientific and technological development, we put forward the important scientific value and practical significance of con- structing eco-industrial engineering for the utilization of these concepts. 展开更多

Map Ta Phut was designated for development in national policy as an Eastern Seaboard Industrial Port. It is located in Rayong Province with growing demand from Eastern Seaboard industries and is heavily affected by serious environmental problems as a'pollution control zone'. While the Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking, representing the national business sector, claimed that the area generated total revenues of 1.1 trillion baht per year, or 11% of Thailand’s gross domestic product, and employed more than 100,000 workers, the declaration of the area as a pollution control zone severely limited investment and business operations. Thus, controversies arose among the investment business sectors, the residential sector (residents have been affected by a decrease in their quality of life and health) and environmental concern sectors. This paper aims to find an efficient and practical mitigation practice to balance the purposes of the industrial port with protection of surrounding communities and natural resources. The author will apply physical design and planning such as the application of “buffer zones”, “greenbelts”, “set-back”, “green corridor”, “green wall” and “protection strips” along with environmental measurements such as the Air Pollution Tolerance Index (APTI), which can be adapted for pollution protection as best practices of landscape architecture. 展开更多

目的探讨改良Park法重睑术治疗上睑松弛的临床疗效。方法以2023年1月至2023年12月在郑州缔莱美医疗美容医院就诊的31例上睑松弛患者为研究对象,所有患者均行改良Park法重睑术治疗,分析手术效果和手术并发症发生情况。结果31例患者中手... 目的探讨改良Park法重睑术治疗上睑松弛的临床疗效。方法以2023年1月至2023年12月在郑州缔莱美医疗美容医院就诊的31例上睑松弛患者为研究对象,所有患者均行改良Park法重睑术治疗,分析手术效果和手术并发症发生情况。结果31例患者中手术效果为完全改善18例,明显改善12例,有改善1例,无效0例,明显改善率为96.77%。术后感染2例(6.45%)、血瘀3例(9.68%)、重睑皱褶过窄2例(6.45%)、重睑线不对称1例(3.23%)。结论改良Park法重睑术治疗上睑松弛临床疗效较好,且不会造成严重的术后并发症,其临床应用价值较高。 展开更多

目的探讨改良Park法重睑术与传统切开法重睑术治疗上睑松弛伴臃肿患者的效果。方法45例上睑松弛伴臃肿患者按治疗方法的不同分为对照组(传统切开法重睑术)和观察组(改良Park法重睑术),比较两组的手术情况、眼睑形态、修复满意度及并发... 目的探讨改良Park法重睑术与传统切开法重睑术治疗上睑松弛伴臃肿患者的效果。方法45例上睑松弛伴臃肿患者按治疗方法的不同分为对照组(传统切开法重睑术)和观察组(改良Park法重睑术),比较两组的手术情况、眼睑形态、修复满意度及并发症。结果观察组的手术时间、拆线时间及术后恢复时间均短于对照组,术后3个月的眼睑形态评分及修复满意度评分均高于对照组(P<0.05)。两组的并发症总发生率相比,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论与传统切开法重睑术相比,改良Park法重睑术治疗上睑松弛伴臃肿的效果更显著,安全性更高,可改善患者眼睑形态,提高修复满意度。 展开更多
