The integration of ideological and political education into university curricula represents a new trend in holistic,comprehensive,and all-around education.The concept of“ideological and political education in English teacher education courses”embodies an interdisciplinary approach to curriculum reform.Grounded in the principle of fostering moral integrity,it aims to create high-quality courses by seamlessly integrating the transmission of knowledge and skills with the guidance of ideological values.This study explores the status quo,significance,and implementation pathways for integrating ideological and political education into English teacher education courses,providing valuable insights for future curricular development.

Integration of Ideological and Political Education into the Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics Course:A Teaching Design Based on Estimation and Hypothesis Testing

With the rapid development of higher education in China,colleges and universities are facing new challenges and impacts in talent training.Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics is one of the important courses in higher education for science and engineering majors and economics and management majors.Its critical role in cultivating students’thinking skills and improving their problem-solving skills is self-evident.Course ideological and political education construction is an important link in college talent training work.Combining ideological and political education with course teaching can help students establish correct value concepts and play a certain role in improving their comprehensive ability and quality.At present,the construction of ideological and political education in the Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics course still faces some problems,mainly manifested in the lack of attention paid by teachers to course ideological and political education,insufficient exploitation of ideological and political elements,and the simplification of ideological and political education implementation methods.In order to comprehensively deepen the construction of course ideological and political education in line with the actual needs of Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics course teaching,we should strengthen the construction of teacher teams,improve teachers’ability to carry out course ideological and political education,integrate educational resources,develop educational resources for ideological and political education,and innovate teaching methods to improve the overall effect of ideological and political education integration.

The Role of Teachers’Apperception in Herbart’s Theory for Chinese Teaching in Shenzhen Primary Schools of China

This paper deeply analyzes the practical application of Herbart’s educational concept in contemporary education and teaching,especially its guiding significance to the primary school Chinese classroom in Shenzhen area.Herbart proposed that teachers should play a key role in students’cognitive process,that is,help students better understand and master new knowledge by combining it with existing knowledge.The survey results show that although teachers have some understanding of Herbart’s educational philosophy,it is not widely used in the concrete teaching process.However,the study also shows that there is a positive relationship between Herbart’s theory and students’academic performance,indicating that it plays an important role in improving students’interest and engagement in learning.The research also reveals the differences between educational concepts and practices,as well as the uneven distribution of educational resources,and puts forward measures to alleviate these contradictions,such as strengthening teacher training,improving teaching methods,and emphasizing moral education.At the same time,the study also highlights the critical role of teachers in promoting knowledge integration,arousing learning enthusiasm,shaping students’moral character,and promoting personal and professional growth.

Chinese Education Modernization:A Case Study on Ideological and Political Theories Teaching in All Courses with Organic Integration of Cultural Literacy and Political Education

Chinese education modernization is integral to Chinese modernization,and is of leading significance to the further advancement of Chinese modernization and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.In this paper,taking ideological and political theories teaching in all courses as an example,an attempt is made to organically integrate cultural literacy and political education under the vision of Chinese education modernization,and“gathers knowledge heritage in the dissemination of value and leads the values in the dissemination of knowledge,”thereby training students into highcaliber talents with good and all-round moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetical,and labor grounding.

A Study on the Management of Career Development of Young Teachers in Higher Education Institutions from the Perspective of Career Anchors

In January 2021,six departments in China,including the Ministry of Education jointly issued the Guiding Opinions on Strengthening Reform in HEI Teacher Capacity Building for the New Era which emphasizes support for career development of young teachers.From the perspective of the career anchor theory,this paper takes human resource management as a tool to analyze organizational environment at the macro and micro levels to find out how to facilitate career development of young teachers in higher education institutions.

Analysis on the Actual Teaching Effectiveness of Course Ethnic Theory and Policy --School of Preparatory Education for the Minorities of Ningxia University Is Taken for Example

In this paper, many factors restricting and affecting the actual effectiveness of course ethnic theory and policy are summarized, among which student factors mainly include unavailable major foundation, new strange course, and having no idea about how to learn in the short term, narrow knowledge scope because of the examination-oriented education, poor self-control ability and attitude toward learning, and difference among the students of different minorities in the preparatory education, so that the actual teaching effectiveness is different. The teaching contents provided by teachers are not enough scientific, and the teaching pertinence is not strong; all parts of teaching and especially the effectiveness of processing the key and difficult points are not good enough, so that students are guided not very well to actively participate in classroom teaching activities, etc. Subsequently, an analysis is made around integrating and excavating teaching materials, understanding teaching contents, valuing the teaching process, and helping the students of preparatory education change from passively learning knowledge to initiatively accepting knowledge in a targeted way, and then some approaches, methods, and strategies of improving the actual teaching effectiveness of the course are explored.

Diversified Teaching Method in Basic Piano Course Instruction for Higher Education Teachers

Diversified teaching plays an important role in the sustainable development of China’s basic piano course instruction for higher education teachers.A diversified curriculum system should be designed to promote the development of each student,and efforts should be made to cultivate high-quality talents who can adapt to the various needs of the society as well as to promote the reform and development of basic piano course instruction for higher education teachers.The aim of this study was to explore the teaching of basic piano course for higher education teachers based on the diversified teaching method.The teaching methods use for basic piano course were analyzed in this study,and two research methods were used to carry out the present study so as to effectively improve the operation of the diversified teaching method.Through a survey of the current situation of piano instruction in two higher education faculties,we can see that the teaching of basic piano course in higher education is still dominated by the traditional teaching method although the majority of students preferred the diversified teaching method.

Uncovering the Mediating Role of Teacher Anxiety on the Relationship between Teacher Self-Efficacy and Teacher Work Engagement in the Online Context

Background:With the widespread adoption of synchronous online instruction,concerns have arisen regarding teachers’professional functioning in this new context.While previous studies have extensively explored teacher psychology,the control-value theory(CVT)provides additional insights into teachers’experiences.As limited research has specifically addressed the psychological experiences of primary school teachers in online teaching settings,this study investigated the relationships among teachers’online self-efficacy,anxiety,and engagement through the CVT framework.Methods:This study employed a quantitative research design,conducting a questionnaire survey of 1037 Chinese primary school teachers recruited through convenience and snowball sampling.Exploratory Structural Equation Modelling was first applied to validate the constructs.Subsequently,a structural equation model was developed and tested to examine the relationships between the key variables.A mediation analysis further explored the indirect effect of teacher self-efficacy on engagement through anxiety,consistent with CVT propositions.Results:Structural Equation Modelling results revealed that teachers’self-efficacy was a significant predictor of both anxiety(β=−0.165,p<0.001)and engagement(β=0.707,p<0.001).Anxiety also significantly predicted engagement(β=−0.097,p<0.001).Mediation analysis further demonstrated that anxiety partially mediated the relationship between self-efficacy and engagement(β=0.016).Conclusion:While anxiety can impede teachers’full engagement in online teaching,self-efficacy appears to buffer against anxiety’s negative effects,ultimately enhancing teaching effectiveness.These findings offer valuable insights for improving teachers’online teaching experiences and optimizing educational outcomes in digital environments.

A Preliminary Study on Basic Instructional Design of Visual Design Based on Self-Determination Theory

The Fundamentals of Visual Design are a foundational element of modern higher education in China.Given the context of socio-economic development,there is an increasing demand for visual design professionals.In the teaching of basic visual design in universities,there is a need for substantial innovation and transformation in teaching concepts,methods,and models,as well as continuous optimization of instructional design.In practice,the comprehensive implementation of Self-Determination Theory(SDT)is crucial.By leveraging SDT,educators can stimulate students’intrinsic motivation and enhance the effectiveness of teaching.This paper focuses on the application of Self-Determination Theory in the foundational education of visual design in higher education institutions.First,it provides an overview of SDT,explaining its core concepts and fundamental principles.Then,it analyzes the current state of basic visual design education in Chinese universities,identifying existing problems and exploring the potential role of SDT in addressing these issues.Furthermore,it discusses how to integrate SDT into teaching design and practice to improve teaching outcomes and student motivation.The paper offers instructional guidance from the perspectives of fostering a sense of achievement and belonging,providing references and insights for future teaching efforts.Introducing Self-Determination Theory into the field of foundational visual design education in universities,the paper proposes corresponding instructional methods.This innovative approach,which combines theory and practice,helps to break traditional teaching models,stimulate students’interest and motivation in learning,and enhance teaching effectiveness.

Pre-Service Teachers Attitude towards Teaching Environmental Education (EE) during Practicum in Malaysian Primary Schools

Environmental Education (EE) has been introduced into the Malaysian Curriculum since 1992. Related to that, EE was found to be an important subject that must be known by the teachers, prior to teach EE indirectly in the classroom. Problems occurred while implementing EE in schools such as;less knowledge about EE an extra burden among teachers to teach. At Teachers Training Institute (TTI), EE is a compulsory subject due to complete their training and this study carried out to identify the attitude of teaching EE among pre-service teachers’. The reliability of the items showed 0.830 cronbach’s alpha. One hundred and twenty five respondents among pre-service teachers’ were analyzed and the result shows pre-service teachers’ have positive attitude towards teaching EE in classroom. Analysis of data shown that there are significant differences between male and female pre-service teachers’ in attitude of teaching, with t = 0.036 (p 0.05).

Higher Education in Taiwan： An Analysis of Trends Using the Theory of Punctuated Equilibrium

Taiwan is currently facing the serious challenge of decreasing enrollment in higher education institutes （HEIs） due to the oversupply of these institutions and decreasing birthrates. This has necessitated that policymakers implement new policies to meet the demands of the market. This paper uses punctuated equilibrium theory （PET） to explain the circumstances that led to the overexpansion of Taiwan＇s higher education institutions over the past decades. This article also analyzes the social contexts and ramifications of social conflict regarding public expectations and policy changes in the ideology of the educational reform movement.

The Reform Path of Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Universities Under the Integration of Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Universities,Middle Schools,and Primary Schools

The integration of ideological and political theory courses in primary and secondary schools needs to be based on a certain theoretical foundation and follow the necessary principles of teaching practice.In the teaching of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities,there are practical problems such as“cross-duplication of teaching materials”,“unreasonable application of teaching methods”,and“evaluation of teaching integration”.This paper is based on solving the practical problems of“cross-duplication of textbook contents”,“unreasonable application of teaching methods”,and“evaluation of teaching integration”in the teaching of ideological and political theory studies in colleges and universities under the integration,and proposes to use the textbook as a carrier for the integration of teaching contents and to make the teaching of Civic and Political Studies in colleges and universities more efficient.We put forward the“three teaching and three reforms”teaching reforms,such as the integrated reform of teaching contents carried by teaching materials,the integrated reform of teaching methods oriented to students,and the integrated reform of teaching evaluation based on the concept of OBE(Outcome Based Education),with a view to solving the teaching problems in the integrated reform of ideological and political theory courses in universities.

A Study on Improving the Teaching Ability of College Physical Education Teachers From the Perspective of OBE

This paper analyzes the current situation of college teachers’teaching organization ability based on teaching implementation by using the literature method and inductive deduction method,and summarizes the factors affecting the teaching ability of college public physical education teachers,in order to provide references for the improvement of the teaching effect of college physical education,and help the implementation of the national strategy of healthy China and sports power.The teaching implementation of physical education teachers in colleges and universities is mainly affected by the drafting of teaching objectives,teaching design,teaching evaluation,and other factors.The teaching workload makes teachers tired of teaching preparation,teaching design fails to think deeply about the major and learning situation,teaching evaluation method is single,and other phenomena.In view of the problems in the implementation of the curriculum,it is proposed to participate in education and teaching training to update the educational concept,regularly carry out teaching and research activities to improve the teaching organization ability,and write teaching logs to improve the ability of sustainable development.

高职“Linux操作系统”课程建设与实践

以高职“Linux操作系统”课程为例,以专业教师、思政教师与企业导师相互配合,组建高素质结构化教学团队、建设“双师型”教师队伍为基础,以开发校企合编新型活页式教材、在线课程和数字化实训室等数字资源为载体,依托校企共建的“华为信息与网络技术学院”“北斗导航协同创新中心”,融入“云、大、物、智”等新一代信息技术,采用任务驱动、理实一体、行动导向教学理论开展教学。应用研究表明,课程实施教师、教法、教材的“三教”改革对培养学生的知识、技能、素质等方面有明显的促进作用,有效达成了人才培养既定教学目标。

Research on Innovative Training of Localized STEM Teachers Grounded in Shared Commitment

The high-quality development of a country driven by talent necessitates comprehensive and practical STEM(Science,Technology,Engineering,and Mathematics)education.The goal of localizing STEM education is to cultivate comprehensive innovative technology talents that meet the needs of the new era.STEM teachers play a core role in this concept,and the quality of teacher training directly determines the development trend of STEM education and the quality of future talents in the country.Therefore,based on the current situation and existing problems in STEM teacher training,the shared commitment to“high-quality STEM teacher training”is employed as a guiding principle,highlighting the role of various elements in the STEM teacher training process.The practical path for STEM teacher training is proposed from four aspects:top-level design goal orientation,resource integration to solve supply imbalance,curriculum construction to improve the teaching system,and sustainable development to enhance professional ability.This study hopes to provide guidelines for innovative training of localized STEM teachers in China.

Online Teaching of Secondary Vocational Education based on Constructivism

Online teaching would become a development trend in the field of education.Based on the characteristics of online education and the theory of constructivism,the elements of online teaching would undergo fundamental changes which would certainly lead to revolutionary educational concepts,contents,designs,methods,etc.With the continuous rapid development of China's economy,the scale of vocational education has expanded.In combination with the constructivist learning theory to explain the meaning of online education,analysis of the feasibility of secondary vocational education and their students,as well as the online education in secondary vocational schools,a feasible online teaching design is constructed for vocational teachers.Through research,it is found that the online teaching of secondary vocational education teachers based on constructivism requires improvement in some of their abilities and personal qualities.
