Unfortunately, literatures relating to the study of the influence of the magnetic reluctances of the magnetic elements are rarely available. This paper aims to analyze the influence of the magnetic reluctances of the magnetic elements on torque motor. Considering these magnetic reluctances ignored in previous literatures, a new mathematical model of servo valve torque motor is developed and proposed based on the fundamental laws of electromagnetism. By using this new mathematical model and the previous models, electromagnetic torque constant and magnetic spring stiffness are evaluated for a given set of torque motor parameters. A computer simulation by using AMESim software is also performed for the same set of torque motor parameters to verify the proposed model. The theoretical results of electromagnetic torque constant and magnetic spring stiffness evaluated by the proposed model render closer agreement with the simulation results than those evaluated by the previous models. In addition, an experimental measurement of the magnetic flux densities in the air-gaps is carried out by using SFL218 servo valve torque motor. However, the large-diameter magnetic liquid rotation seal at low temperature has not been reported both in theory and in application up to now. A key factor restricting the application of the large-diameter magnetic liquid rotation seal at low temperature is the high breakaway torque. In this paper, the factors that influence the breakaway torque including the number of seal stages, the injected quantity of magnetic liquid and the standing time at normal temperature are studied. Two kinds of magnetic liquid with variable content of large particles are prepared first, and a seal feedthrough with 140 mm shaft diameter is used in the experiments. All experiments are carried out in a low temperature chamber with a temperature range from 200℃ to -100℃. The barrier was installed in order to minimize the cogging torque and torque ripple by finite element method (FEM) with a reduced barrier width toward the center of magnetic pole. The position and width of notch, which can offset cogging torque, can be calculated with energy distribution of air-gap using Fourier series. The optimized model demonstrates a 60% decrease in the cogging torque, a 75.3% decrease in the torque ripple and a 3% increase in the operating torque when compared with the basic model.展开更多

Issues such as learning speed, stability, and weight convergence remain as areas of research and comparison of many training algorithms. The application of neural networks to control interior permanent magnet synchronous motor using direct torque control (DTC) is discussed. A neural network is used to emulate the state selector of the DTC. The neural networks used are the back-propagation and radial basis function. To reduce the training patterns and increase the execution speed of the training process, the inputs of switching table are converted to digital signals, i.e., one bit represent the flux error, one bit the torque error, and three bits the region of stator flux. Computer simulations of the motor and neural-network system using the two approaches are presented and compared. Discussions about the back-propagation and radial basis function as the most promising training techniques are presented, giving its advantages and disadvantages. The system using back-propagation and radial basis function networks controller has quick parallel speed and high torque response.展开更多

文摘Cogging torque and electromagnetic vibration are two important factors for evaluating permanent magnet synchronous machine(PMSM)and are key issues that must be considered and resolved in the design and manufacture of high-performance PMSM for electric vehicles.A fast and accurate magnetic field calculation model for interior permanent magnet synchronous machine(IPMSM)is proposed in this article.Based on the traditional magnetic potential permeance method, the stator cogging effect and complex boundary conditions of the IPMSM can be fully considered in this model,so as to realize the rapid calculation of equivalent magnetomotive force(MMF),air gap permeance, and other key electromagnetic properties. In this article,a 6-pole 36-slot IPMSM is taken as an example to establish its equivalent solution model, thereby the cogging torque is accurately calculated. And the validity of this model is verified by a variety of different magnetic pole structures, pole slot combinations machines, and prototype experiments. In addition, the improvement measure of the machine with different combination of pole arc coefficient is also studied based on this model.Cogging torque and electromagnetic vibration can be effectively weakened.Combined with the finite element model and multi-physics coupling model, the electromagnetic characteristics and vibration performance of this machine are comprehensively compared and analyzed. The analysis results have well verified its effectiveness. It can be extended to other structures or types of PMSM and has very important practical value and research significance.

文摘As there is no need of permanent magnet(PM)material and only silicon steel sheet required on the rotor, synchronous reluctance machine(SynRM)can be used for many applications and draws a great research interest. For the SynRM,the torque ripple is a big issue and a great of work could been done on reducing it.In this paper, asymmetrical magnetic flux barriers in the SynRM rotor were studied comprehensively, including angle and width of each layer and each side of the magnetic barrier. The SynRMb with asymmetrical and parallel magnetic flux barrier was found as the best way to design SynRM based on the multi-objective design optimization method. Moreover, each parameter was studied to show the design rule of the asymmetrical magnetic flux barrier. As the average torque will be reduced with the asymmetrical barrier is used, the grain-oriented silicon steel is used on stator teeth of the SynRMb(SynRMbG)was proposed and studied. The analysis results show that the proposed new method can make the SynRM have better performance.
文摘The principle and design method of the large gap magnetic drive system is studied in this work. The calculation model of the torque-angle characteristic in the large gap magnetic drive system driven by traveling wave magnetic field is established. The calculation model is computed by using MATLAB software, and the pattern of the system’s torque-angle characteristic is obtained by analyzing study results. These results indicate that: torque-angle characteristic and the driving torque of the system can be adjusted by changing the electric current of coil, the magnetization of permanent magnetic gear, the inner diameter of permanent magnetic gear, the coupling distance between electromagnet and permanent magnetic gear, the outer diameter of permanent magnetic gear, and the axial length of permanent magnetic gear.

文摘The design of notch and barrier was optimized in order to improve the characteristics of constant torque while minimizing the cogging torque that occurs as a result of teeth and slot structure. The barrier was installed in order to minimize the cogging torque and torque ripple by finite element method (FEM) with a reduced barrier width toward the center of magnetic pole. The position and width of notch, which can offset cogging torque, can be calculated with energy distribution of air-gap using Fourier series. The optimized model demonstrates a 60% decrease in the cogging torque, a 75.3% decrease in the torque ripple and a 3% increase in the operating torque when compared with the basic model.

文摘The binary alloy/ferromagnetic metal heterostructure has drawn extensive attention in the research field of spin–orbittorque(SOT)due to the potential enhancement of SOT efficiency via composition engineering. In this work, the magneticproperties and SOT efficiency in the Pt100−xNix/Ni78Fe22 bilayers were investigated via the spin-torque ferromagneticresonance(ST-FMR)technique.The effective magnetic anisotropy field and effective damping constant extracted by analyzing the ST-FMR spectra show a weak dependence on the Ni concentration. The effective spin-mixing conductanceof 8.40×10^(14)Ω−1·m−2and the interfacial spin transparency Tin of 0.59 were obtained for the sample of Pt70Ni30/NiFebilayer.More interestingly, the SOT efficiency that is carefully extracted from the angular dependence of ST-FMR spectrashows a nonmonotonic dependence on the Ni concentration, which reaches the maximum at x=18.The enhancement ofthe SOT efficiency by alloying the Ni with Pt shows potential in lowering the critical switching current. Moreover, alloyingrelatively cheaper Ni with Pt may promote to reduce the cost of SOT devices.

文摘The direct torque control theory has achieved great success in the control ofinduction motors. However, in the DTC drive system of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (PMSM)proposed a few years ago, there are many basic theoretical problems that must be clarified. Thispaper describes an investigation about the effect of the zero voltage space vectors in the DTCsystem of PMSM and points out that if using the zero voltage space vectors rationally, not only canthe DTC system be driven successfully but also the torque ripple is reduced and the performance ofthe system is improved. This paper also studies the sensorless technique in the DTC system of PMSMand configures the DTC system of PMSM with sensorless technique including zero voltage spacevectors. Numerical simulations and experimental tests have proved the theory correct. In thecondition of sensor-less, the DTC system of PMSM is wide-rangely speed adjusting, and the ratio ofspeed adjustment is 1: 100.

文摘Neural networks require a lot of training to understand the model of a plant or a process. The system using back-propagation and radial basis function networks controller has quick parallel speed and high torque response.

文摘Topological magnetotransport in non-collinear antiferromagnets has attracted extensive attention due to the exotic phenomena such as large anomalous Hall effect(AHE),magnetic spin Hall effect, and chiral anomaly. The materials exhibiting topological antiferromagnetic physics are typically limited in special Mn_3X family such as Mn_3Sn and Mn_3Ge.Exploring the topological magnetotransport in common antiferromagnetic materials widely used in spintronics will not only enrich the platforms for investigating the non-collinear antiferromagnetic physics, but also have great importance for driving the nontrivial topological properties towards practical applications. Here,we report remarkable AHE,anisotropic and negative parallel magnetoresistance in the magnetron-sputtered Ir_(20)Mn_(80)antiferromagnet,which is one of the most widely used antiferromagnetic materials in industrial spintronics. The ab initio calculations suggest that the Ir_4Mn_(16)(IrMn_4)or Mn_3Ir nanocrystals hold nontrivial electronic band structures, which may contribute to the observed intriguing magnetotransport properties in the Ir_(20)Mn_(80).Further,we demonstrate the spin–orbit torque switching of the antiferromagnetic Ir_(20)Mn_(80)by the spin Hall current of Pt.The presented results highlight a great potential of the magnetron-sputtered Ir_(20)Mn_(80)film for exploring the topological antiferromagnet-based physics and spintronics applications.
