The basic principles of Electromagnetic Compatibility focus on the ability of devices to withstand electromagnetic disturbances and not produce disturbances that could affect other systems. Imperceptible in most work situations, electromagnetic fields can, beyond certain thresholds, have effects on human health. The objective of the present article is focused on the modeling analysis of the influence of geometric parameters of industrial static converters radiated electromagnetic fields using Maxwell’s equations. To do this we used the analytical formalism for calculating the electromagnetic field emitted by a filiform conductor, to model the electromagnetic radiation of this device in the spatio-temporal domain. The interactions of electromagnetic waves with human bodies are complex and depend on several factors linked to the characteristics of the incident wave. To model these interactions, we implemented the physical laws of electromagnetic wave propagation based on Maxwell’s and bio-heat equations to obtain consistent results. These obtained models allowed us to evaluate the spatial profile of induced current and temperature of biological tissue during exposure to electromagnetic waves generated by this system. The simulation 2D results obtained from computer tools show that the temperature variation and current induced by the electromagnetic field can have a very significant influence on the life of biological tissue. The paper provides a comprehensive analysis using advanced mathematical models to evaluate the influence of electromagnetic fields. The findings have direct implications for workplace safety, potentially influencing standards and regulations concerning electromagnetic exposure in industrial settings.展开更多

These survival methods further assume independent survival times, which is not valid for honey bees, which live in nests. The study introduces a semi-parametric marginal proportional hazards mixture cure (PHMC) model with exchangeable correlation structure, using generalized estimating equations for survival data analysis. The model was tested on clustered right-censored bees survival data with a cured fraction, where two bee species were subjected to different entomopathogens to test the effect of the entomopathogens on the survival of the bee species. The Expectation-Solution algorithm is used to estimate the parameters. The study notes a weak positive association between cure statuses (ρ1=0.0007) and survival times for uncured bees (ρ2=0.0890), emphasizing their importance. The odds of being uncured for A. mellifera is higher than the odds for species M. ferruginea. The bee species, A. mellifera are more susceptible to entomopathogens icipe 7, icipe 20, and icipe 69. The Cox-Snell residuals show that the proposed semiparametric PH model generally fits the data well as compared to model that assume independent correlation structure. Thus, the semi parametric marginal proportional hazards mixture cure is parsimonious model for correlated bees survival data.展开更多

Particles have properties that uniquely characterize them from one another, such as mass, charge and spin. Charged particles have associated Electric and Magnetic fields. Also, every moving particle has a De Broglie wavelength determined by its mass and velocity. This paper shows that all of these properties of a particle can be derived from a single wave function equation for that particle. Wave functions for the Electron and the Positron are presented and principles are provided that can be used to calculate the wave functions of all the fundamental particles in Physics. Fundamental particles such as electrons and positrons are considered to be point particles in the Standard Model of Physics and are not considered to have a structure. This paper demonstrates that they do indeed have structure and that this structure extends into the space around the particle’s center (in fact, they have infinite extent), but with rapidly diminishing energy density with the distance from that center. The particles are formed from Electromagnetic standing waves, which are stable solutions to the Schrödinger and Classical wave equations. This stable structure therefore accounts for both the wave and particle nature of these particles. In fact, all of their properties such as mass, spin and electric charge, can be accounted for from this structure. These particle properties appear to originate from a single point at the center of the wave function structure, in the same sort of way that the Shell theorem of gravity causes the gravity of a body to appear to all originate from a central point. This paper represents the first two fully characterized fundamental particles, with a complete description of their structure and properties, built up from the underlying Electromagnetic waves that comprise these and all fundamental particles.展开更多

Computing costs are considerably minimized by reducing the full three-dimensional problem to a series of two-dimensional problems. This is accomplished by transforming the problem into y-wave number (Ky) domain using Fourier transform and the y-axis is parallel to the structural strike. In the Ky domain, two coupled partial differential equations for magnetic field Hy and electric field Ey are derived. For a specific value of Ky, the coupled equations are solved by the finite element method with isoparametric elements in the x-z plane. Application of the inverse Fourier transform to the Ky, domain provides the electric and magnetic fields in real space. The equations derived can be applied to general complex two-dimensional structures containing either electric or magnetic dipole source in any direction. In the modeling of the electromagnetic measurement, we adopted a pseudo-delta function to distribute the dipole source current and circumvent the problem of singularity at the source point. Moreover, the suggested method used isoparametric finite elements to accommodate the complex subsurface formation. For the large scale linear system derived from the discretization of the Maxwell's equations, several iterative solvers were used and compared to select the optimal one. A quantitative test of accuracy was presented which compared the finite element results with analytic solutions for a dipole source in homogeneous space for different ranges and different wave numbers Ky. to validate the addressed the effects of the distribution range τ of the homogeneous medium. code and check its effectiveness. 文摘This study used the stable and convergent Dufort-Frankel method to differentially discretize the diffusion equation of the ground-well transient electromagnetic secondary field. The absorption boundary condition of complex frequency-shifted perfectly matched layer(CFS-PML)was used for truncation so that the low-frequency electromagnetic wave can be better absorbed at the model boundary.A typical three-dimensional(3D)homogeneous half-space model was established and a low-resistivity cube model was analyzed under the half-space condition. The response patterns and drivers of the low-resistivity cube model were discussed under the influence of a low-resistivity overburden. The absorption boundary conditions of CFS-PML significantly affected the low-frequency electromagnetic waves. For a low-resistivity cube around the borehole, its response curve exhibited a single-peak,and the extreme point of the curve corresponded to the center of the low-resistivity body. When the low-resistivity cube was directly below the borehole, the response curve showed three extreme values(two high and one low),with the low corresponding to the center of the low-resistivity body. The total field response of the low-resistivity overburden was stronger than that of the uniform half-space model due to the low-resistivity shielding effect of electromagnetic waves. When the receiving-transmitting distance gradually increased, the effect of the low-resistivity overburden was gradually weakened, and the response of the low-resistivity cube was strengthened. It was affected by the ratio of the overburden resistivity to the resistivity of the low-resistivity body.
文摘A finite element method is developed for simulating frequency domain electromagnetic responses due to a dipole source in the 2-D conductive structures. In addition, we pseudo-delta function on the numerical results in

文摘A new modified LuGre friction model is presented for electromagnetic valve actuator system. The modification to the traditional LuGre friction model is made by adding an acceleration-dependent part and a nonlinear continuous switch function. The proposed new friction model solves the implementation problems with the traditional LuGre model at high speeds. An improved artificial fish swarm algorithm(IAFSA)method which combines the chaotic search and Gauss mutation operator into traditional artificial fish swarm algorithm is used to identify the parameters in the proposed modified LuGre friction model. The steady state response experiments and dynamic friction experiments are implemented to validate the effectiveness of IAFSA algorithm. The comparisons between the measured dynamic friction forces and the ones simulated with the established mathematic friction model at different frequencies and magnitudes demonstrate that the proposed modified LuGre friction model can give accurate simulation about the dynamic friction characteristics existing in the electromagnetic valve actuator system. The presented modelling and parameter identification methods are applicable for many other high-speed mechanical systems with friction.

文摘An intuitive 2D model of circular electrical impedance tomography (EIT) sensor with small size electrodes is established based on the theory of analytic functions. The validation of the model is proved using the result from the solution of Laplace equation. Suggestions on to electrode optimization and explanation to the ill-condition property of the sensitivity matrix are provided based on the model, which takes electrode distance into account and can be generalized to the sensor with any simple connected region through a conformal transformation. Image reconstruction algorithms based on the model are implemented to show feasibility of the model using experimental data collected from the EIT system developed in Tianjin University. In the simulation with a human chestlike configuration, electrical conductivity distributions are reconstructed using equi-potential backprojection (EBP) and Tikhonov regularization (TR) based on a conformal transformation of the model. The algorithms based on the model are suitable for online image reconstruction and the reconstructed results are aood both in size and position.

文摘Based on the pseudo-analytical equation of electromagnetic log for layered formation,an optimal boundary match method is proposed to adaptively truncate the encountered formation structures. An efficient integral method is put forward to significantly accelerate the convergence of Sommerfeld integral.By asymptotically approximating and subtracting the first reflection/transmission waves from the scattered field, the new Sommerfeld integral method has addressed difficulties encountered by the traditional digital filtering method, such as low computational precision and limited operating range, and realized the acceleration of the computation speed of logging-while-drilling electromagnetic measurements(LWD EM).By making use of the priori information from the offset/pilot wells and interactively adjusting the formation model, the optimum initial guesses of the inversion model is determined in order to predict the nearby formation boundaries. The gradient optimization algorithm is developed and an interactive inversion system for the LWD EM data from the horizontal wells is established. The inverted results of field data demonstrated that the real-time interactive inversion method is capable of providing the accurate boundaries of layers around the wellbore from the LWD EM,and it will benefit the wellbore trajectory optimization and reservoir interpretation.

文摘In this paper, numerical modelling of left-handed materials (LHMs) is presented using in-house and commercial software packages. Approaches used include the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method, finite element method (FEM) and method of moments (MoMs). Numerical simulation includes verification of negative refraction and "perfect lenses" construction, investigation of evanescent wave behaviour in layered LHMs, reversed Shell's Law in electromagnetic band gap (EBG)-like structures and construction of LHMs using modified split ring resonators (SRRs). Numerical results were verified to be in good agreement with theory, At the end of this paper, potential applications of LHMs in microwave engineering are discussed.

文摘We investigated how density and quality of mesh around interest domain affect electromagnetic (EM) responses of 3D Earth layered media using finite element method (FEM). Effect of different mesh shapes was also investigated using a method of mixing structured and unstructured mesh. As a case study, we estimated the effects of meshing on selectivity phenomenon of seismic electric signal (SES). Our results suggest that the relative errors resulting from mesh effects may not be negligible, which may lead to some unconvincing explanation of the SES selectivity based on the numerical modeling results.
文摘With the development of new energy technology, there are increasing applications of grid-connected photovoltaic power generation system. However, there is little research on development of electromechanical model of large scale photovoltaic power station. The computational speed will be very slow if electromagnetic transient model is used for stability study because of its complexity. Therefore, study on electromechanical transient model of grid-connected photovoltaic power generation system is of great meaning. In this paper, electromagnetic transient model of photovoltaic power generation system is introduced first, and then a general electromechanical transient model is proposed. These two kinds of simulation model are set up in PSCAD. By comparing the simulation results of two models, the correctness and validity of the electromechanical transient model is verified. It provides reference model for efficient simulation and modeling of grid-connected photovoltaic power station in large-scale power systems.
