We introduce a natural cost allocation to the soccer teams, based in a natural manner on the sponsorships of fans. The game theoretic approach is twofold. On the one hand, an appropriate cost game called “fan data cost game” is developed and on the other, it is shown that the former natural cost allocation agrees with the solution concept called “nucleolus” of the fan data cost game.展开更多

A 2-group, pretest-posttest design was adopted, comprising both an experimental and a control group. The participants were recruited from 2 public kindergartens located in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The approval of the legal representatives of the 101 preschoolers enrolled in these kindergartens and aged between 4 years and 6 years and 11 months was obtained, and purposive grouping was subsequently conducted. The experimental group comprised 44 participants from the first kindergarten, whereas the control group comprised 43 participants from the second kindergarten. After the recruitment, the experimental group received a soccer program intervention: a 10-week soccer program with two 40-minute sessions per week. Before and after the experiment, the gross motor quality of both groups was measured using the Preschooler Gross Motor Quality Scale, which covers tests for locomotion, object manipulation, and balance. The results of the 10-week intervention showed significantly higher scores for locomotion, object manipulation, balance, and overall gross motor quality in the experimental group than in the control group. This study confirmed that a 10-week soccer program is beneficial for gross motor development in preschoolers. The research results can serve as a reference for gross motor development in preschool education.展开更多

Since players are the centered component of this approach, players' perception can provide useful information for coaches in order to enhance cognitive learning of game play and improve game performance. Thus, the purpose of this study was to determine the players' perception for implementing the game-centered approach in coaching. Approximately 30 min of interviews with open-ended questions were conducted with five female collegiate soccer players. The game-centered approach helped participants to recognize their weaknesses and their strengths, to think more tactically and to adapt their performance from practices to competitions. Players were encouraged to tactically analyze their performance, emphasize cognitive learning of game play, and construct game knowledge. The cognitive learning helped players to easily transfer their game performance into competitions. Additionally, there was a positive impact on the players' motivation while they experienced enjoyment, challenges, and teamwork. Cognitive learning of game play, the performance adaptability for competitions, as well as the improving players' motivation was supported during the game-centered approach. Results provided helpful information for coaches to improve the effectiveness of practices which are truly useful to competitions.展开更多

The development, planning, and implementation of such a programme are difficult due partly to the practical constraints related to the competitive schedule at the top level. The effective planning and organisation of training are therefore crucial to the effective delivery of the training stimulus for both individual players and the team. The aim of this article is to provide an overview of the principles of training that can be used to prepare players for the physical demands of soccer. Information relating to periodisation is supported by an outline of the strategies used to deliver the acute training stress in a soccer environment. The importance of monitoring to support the planning process is also reviewed.展开更多

文摘A soccer robot system (HIT 1) was built to participate in MIROSOT_China99 held in Harbin Institute of Technology. Robot soccer game is a very complex robot application that incorporates real time vision system, robot control, wireless communication and control of multiple robots. In the paper, we present the design and the hardware architecture and software architecture of our distributed multiple robot system.
