These accidents can cause instability and damageto the tunnel. As a result, it is essential to conduct research on tunnel construction and grouting reinforcementtechnology in fault fracture zones to address these issues and ensure the safety of tunnel excavation projects. Thisstudy utilized the Xianglushan cross-fault tunnel to conduct a comprehensive analysis on the construction, support, and reinforcement of a tunnel crossing a fault fracture zone using the three-dimensional finite element numericalmethod. The study yielded the following research conclusions: The excavation conditions of the cross-fault tunnelarray were analyzed to determine the optimal construction method for excavation while controlling deformationand stress in the surrounding rock. The middle partition method (CD method) was found to be the most suitable.Additionally, the effects of advanced reinforcement grouting on the cross-fault fracture zone tunnel were studied, and the optimal combination of grouting reinforcement range (140°) and grouting thickness (1m) was determined. The stress and deformation data obtained fromon-site monitoring of the surrounding rock was slightly lower thanthe numerical simulation results. However, the change trend of both sets of data was found to be consistent. Theseresearch findings provide technical analysis and data support for the construction and design of cross-fault tunnels.展开更多

The corrosion-inhibiting power of the clay (Montmorillonite) is determined in a medium HCl (C = 1N) using free corrosion potential monitoring, Tafel potentiodynamic polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The results of this study showed a satisfactory corrosion-inhibiting efficiency of around 72.665% for the optimum content of 1%. This is due to the presence of a stable oxide layer that protects the metal against corrosion. To validate the concept of montmorillonite as a corrosion inhibitor in repair mortar, we now turn to the influence of montmorillonite on the mechanical properties of mortars in the hardened state. In this part, montmorillonite K-10 is added to the mortar by partial substitution of the cement by 5% and 10% of the cement mass. The aim of this study is to ensure that the addition of this clay to the mortar composition will not have a negative effect on its compressive and flexural strengths. The results of the compression and flexural tests showed that the presence of montmorillonite in the mortar improved flexural and compressive strengths for the different compositions studied.展开更多

On the basis of the anal ysis of the experimental data, this model simplifies the number of cycles-total cyclic strain curve of concrete as three straight line segments, and it is assumed that the stress-strain curves of different cycles in each segment are the same, thus the elastoplastic analysis is only needed for the first cycle of each segment, and the stress or strain corresponding to any number of cycles can be obtained by superposition of stress or strain obtained by the above e lastoplastic analysis based on the cyclic numbers in each segment. This model spends less computer time, and can obtain the stress and strain states of the structures after any number of cycles. The endochronic-damage and ideal offshore concrete platform subject to cyclic loading are experimented and analyzed by the finite element method based on the model proposed in this paper. The results between the experiment and the finite element analysis are in good agreement, which demonstrates the validity and accuracy of the proposed model.展开更多

Initially, equations governing composite structures are extracted based on Kirchhoff sheet model under bending using Hamilton's principal. Then, design parameters for the composite structure are extracted with simple supportive boundary conditions from proposed solution. Next, optimization is achieved by determining dimensions of a reinforced sheet specimen. Weight optimization of reinforced sheet structure has been obtained based on variations in thickness and number of longitudinal and transverse reinforcements. Buckling static characteristic is utilized in optimization process. To solve the extracted equations, semi-analytical method of CS-DSG3 has been applied. Results are presented in graphs that show variation of design parameters by changing the geometric parameters. ABAQUS software has been used for design verification. The results show that an increase in thickness of 3 mm skip value tends to be zero. Also, there is a change in the amount of deflection for sheets with a minimum thickness of 3 mm by increasing the number of longitudinal and transverse reinforcement. There is a good agreement between the numerical method of finite elements and the method X-FEM-DSG3.展开更多

In term of calculation area of hoop rebars of reinforced concrete beams, without considering earthquake loads, the Chinese original structural calculation method is safer than the Chinese present structural calculation method, but is more unsafe than the American present structural calculation method and the European present structural calculation method. The results can provide the support for structural safety assessments and repair designs of Chinese modern reinforced concrete buildings.

文摘Due to the fading characteristics of wireless channels and the burstiness of data traffic, how to deal with congestion in Ad-hoc networks with effective algorithms is still open and challenging. In this paper,we focus on enabling congestion control to minimize network transmission delays through flexible power control. To effectively solve the congestion problem,we propose a distributed cross-layer scheduling algorithm, which is empowered by graph-based multi-agent deep reinforcement learning. The transmit power is adaptively adjusted in real-time by our algorithm based only on local information(i.e.,channel state information and queue length)and local communication(i.e.,information exchanged with neighbors). Moreover, the training complexity of the algorithm is low due to the regional cooperation based on the graph attention network. In the evaluation,we show that our algorithm can reduce the transmission delay of data flow under severe signal interference and drastically changing channel states, and demonstrate the adaptability and stability in different topologies. The method is general and can be extended to various types of topologies.
文摘Corrosion can be very harmful to the service life and several properties of reinforced concrete structures. The metal magnetic memory(MMM)method,as a newly developed spontaneous magnetic flux leakage(SMFL)non-destructive testing(NDT)technique,is considered a potentially viable method for detecting corrosion damage in reinforced concrete members. To this end,in this paper, the indoor electrochemical method was employed to accelerate the corrosion of outsourced concrete specimens with different steel bar diameters, and the normal components Bz and its gradient of the SMFL fields on the specimen surfaces were investigated based on the metal magnetic memory(MMM)method. The experimental results showed that the SMFL experimental Bz curves are consistent with the analytical results of the theoretical model.Furthermore, the crest-to-trough behavior on the Bz signal curve and its zero-point gradient spacing can more accurately indicate the corroded area’s extent. Then,a magnetic characteristic parameter W based on a large amount of experimental data was established to characterize the degree of corrosion of the steel bars. The magnetic characteristic parameter W is linearly related to the maximum cross-sectional area loss rateof the corroded reinforcement. This paper will lay the foundation for future research on corrosion detection of reinforced concrete structures based on the MMM method and provide a feasible way for non-destructive detection of corrosion independent of the influence of reinforcement diameter and magnetization history.
文摘The offshore reinforced concrete structures are always subject to cyclic load, such as wave load.In this paper a new finite element analysis model is developed to analyze the stress and strain state of reinforced concrete structures including offshore concrete structures, subject to any number of the cyclic load. The results between the experiment and the finite element analysis are in good agreement, which demonstrates the validity and accuracy of the proposed model.

文摘This paper is concerned with the stability analysis of reinforced slopes.A new approach based on the limit equilibrium principle is proposed to evaluate the stability of the reinforced slopes. The effect of reinforcement is modeled as an equivalent restoring force acting the bottom of the slice and added into the general limit equilibrium(GLE) method. The equations of force and moment equilibrium of the slice are derived and corresponding iterative solution methods are provided. The new method can satisfy both the force and the moment equilibrium and be applicable to the critical failure surface of arbitrary form.Furthermore, the results predicted by the proposed method are compared with the calculation examples of other researchers and the centrifuge model test results to validate its correctness and effectiveness.

文摘A design method of reinforced concrete (R. C.) offshore platforms with nonlinear finite element analysis is proposed. According to the method, a computer program is developed. In this program nonlinear constitutive relationships and strength criteria of concrete and steel bars are included, and the progressive cracking and crushing of the concrete are taken into account. Based on the stress distribution obtained by the nonlinear finite element analysis, the amount of reinforcement in the control sections can be computed and adjusted automatically by the program to satisfy the requirement of the design. The amount of reinforcement required in the control sections, which are obtained with the nonlinear finite element analysis, is agreeable to that obtained in the experiment. This shows that the design method of R. C. offshore platform with the nonlinear finite element method proposed by the authors is reliable for practical use.
文摘Optimization of design features of reinforced sheet is investigated. There is a good agreement between the numerical method of finite elements and the method X-FEM-DSG3.
