Application Strategy of PLC Technology in Energy-Saving Control of Tunnel Lighting

In this study,we investigated on the application of planar lightwave circuit(PLC)technology in energy-saving control of tunnel lighting.The application status of PLC in the field of energy saving followed by the necessity of energy saving in tunnel lighting was analyzed.Finally,the application of PLC in tunnel lighting energy-saving control around the three dimensions of system overall architecture design,control scheme,and program control process was investigated.The results showed that the system meets the requirements of control effect,robustness,and visual effect after trial operation,and is suitable for practical applications.

Study of a Catalyst for Energy-Saving Natural Gas Steam Reforming

The DS-1 catalyst for energy-saving natural gas steam reforming was preparedby using potash as a carbon-resistant additive and adding rare earth oxide. The catalystdemonstrated good reducibility, carbon resistance, activity and stability in aging tests and 500 hstability tests at low water/carbon ratios.

Energy-saving Technology of Vent in Passive Solar Wall of Rural House of Severe Cold Region

This paper aims at solving the problems of low thermal collection rate,inconvenient maintenance,hindering indoor using during the application of passive solar technologies in rural houses in severe cold region.All these defects prevent the passive solar houses' further development. This paper chooses trombe wall,which has higher thermal efficiency of the passive solar house,as research object. The traditional vent is improved into a new type of ventilation device. This improvement overcomes the shortcoming,which traditional vent loses huge heat,and simplifies the construction of vent. Comparing with traditional trombe wall,the energy saving rate is 15. 69%.

Researches on an expert decision-making system of technology reformation schemes of a colliery

In this paper, an expert decision-making system of technology reformation schemes of a colliery (for short EDSTRC) is researched by comprehensively using ES and DSS principles and computer technique. The functional and logical structures of EDSTRC as well as its sub-systems are mainly designed, and its development and application environment are simply introduced. EDSTRC is consisted of eight main parts, i.e. data base (DB), knowledge base (KB), model base (MB), approach base (AB), graph base (GB), result base (RB), man-compute system (MCS), and problem-solved system (PSS). Through application of practical examples, it is proved that the EDSTRC’s prototype design is correct, its man-computer interface is amicable, and its applicable prospect is wider.

Application of the waste heat recovery system and energy-saving in the strip continuous annealing furnace

The common problem of cold strip continuous annealing furnaces is high exhaust gas temperature and great energy consumption. Taking the cold-strip continuous annealing furnaces of Baosteel No. 4 cold mill plant as an example, several waste heat recovery systems in the annealing furnaces are compared and their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed through different energy-saving technologies.

Will Market-Oriented Reforms Propel Technology Progress?Empirical Evidence from China’s High-Tech Sectors

This paper aims to explore the effects of market-oriented reforms on industrial technology progress.Based on a theoretical analysis,we performed an empirical study with a marketization index and panel data of high-tech sectors in China.We found that market-oriented reforms had significantly propelled technology progress in China’s high-tech sectors,and the effects became more evident after China’s WTO entry.Market-oriented reforms induced technology progress by increasing capital allocation efficiency,R&D input,and technology diffusion.Among various aspects of market-oriented reforms,the institutional environment exerted the most significant effects,followed by the economy’s non-state sector,product market development,and factor market development;the government-market relationship index influenced technology’s progress the least.The effects are heterogeneous across sectors with different technology attributes and more significant for technology-intensive sectors.Our findings offer policy implications for China’s ongoing market-oriented reforms and policy design for technology progress in high-tech sectors.
