In recent years, public rental houses appeared as a new type of affordable houses. The national government took the construction of public rental houses to the national strategic level. Currently, there are many problems in the public rental house construction. For example, policy mechanisms are inadequate, the use of funding is not in an efficient way, the location of public rental houses is far away from the downtown, the plot ratio is too high, and facilities are incomplete. There are no appropriate indicators to comprehensively evaluate the public rental house construction. With the degeneration of environment and acceleration of urbanization,human environment has attracted great attention worldwide.This paper sets up the Human Settlements Environment Index(HEI) model and evaluates the n...With the degeneration of environment and acceleration of urbanization,human environment has attracted great attention worldwide.This paper sets up the Human Settlements Environment Index(HEI) model and evaluates the natural environment suitability for Human Settlements in China based on GIS technology.The results show that the HEI of China decreases from southeast to northwest in general,HEI is significantly correlated with population density at grid size and the correlation coefficient(r) between them reaches 0.93,which indicates that natural environment suitability for Human Settlements has a significant influence on population distribution.Most people in China mainly concentrate in areas with high natural environment suitability.The total suitable area is 430.47×104 km2,which accounts for nearly 45% of the total land area in China,while the proportion of people living in the area reaches 96.56%.With a population density of 18 people per square kilometer,the critical area is the transitional region for people to live in China.The critical area covers 225.11×104 km2 with a population of 41.12 million.The non-suitable area covers 304.42×104 km2 with a population of only 2.49 million.展开更多
Evaluation of the suitability of university ladder classroom environment on humans is an effective approach to improve the quality of the indoor environment and protect human health.However,there are unresolved issues...Evaluation of the suitability of university ladder classroom environment on humans is an effective approach to improve the quality of the indoor environment and protect human health.However,there are unresolved issues regarding the suitability of university ladder classroom environment for humans.For example,the design of en-closure structure and heating ventilation and air conditioning(HVAC)system is unreasonable,and the indoor air quality does not meet the required standard.In this study,the suitability of university ladder classroom environ-ment on humans was considered the research object.The evaluation indices of indoor environment were selected from indoor air quality,indoor thermal and humid environments,light environment,and sound environment.And the health and comfort of users were taken as the evaluation indices of users.According to the results of expert investigations and case measurements,the index weight was determined by the expert-entropy weight method,and a complete evaluation system of indices was built.There were two first-level,six second-level,and fourteen third-level indices in the evaluation system.The evaluation indices of each level with the largest weight were indoor environment(0.5940),user health(0.2530),and indoor temperature(0.1175)respectively.By comparing the actual learning effect to the evaluation results,the applicability of the evaluation system was determined.The evaluation system of the suitability of university ladder classroom environment on humans is convenient for operators to identify the weak points between humans and the environment.The evaluation system is endowed with important theoretical and practical significance to realize the green development of colleges and universities and build an environment-friendly campus.展开更多

To explore geographical differences in quantitative characteristics and spatial pattern of human settlements environmental suitability (HSES) in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area (TGRA), terrain, climate, hydrology,...To explore geographical differences in quantitative characteristics and spatial pattern of human settlements environmental suitability (HSES) in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area (TGRA), terrain, climate, hydrology, vegetation and other natural factors were selected to build the livable environmental evaluation, and the quantitative analysis was conducted through Remote Sensing(RS) and Geographic Informational System (GIS) to reveal geo- graphical characteristics and spatial patterns of HSES. The results are obtained as follows: (1) inhabitants of the TGRA of Chongqing are concentrated in the area with moderate h.igh HSES, which is 78% of the total population distributed in 48% of the study area; (2) the HSES is closely related to the terrain, and it forms an arc-banded spatial succession pattern: relatively low in the northeast and the southeast while comparatively high in the west and the south; (3) large numbers of people are distributed in the area with low suitability (with higher population density than the average of the western China), but economic development level in these areas is quite low. Moreover, these areas are ecological sensitive and fragile, many kinds of eco-environmental problems have been caused by human activities. Therefore, population migration and layout are reasonable options for the development of these areas.展开更多
With the aim of guaranteeing the interests and health of tourists,this study comprehensively evaluates the suitability of the environment in different cities in China for tourism by considering the impacts of climate,...With the aim of guaranteeing the interests and health of tourists,this study comprehensively evaluates the suitability of the environment in different cities in China for tourism by considering the impacts of climate,vegetation and environmental factors on health.The Universal Thermal Climate Index(UTCI),total precipitation(PREC),Vegetation Leaf Area Index(LAI),concentration of particulate matter with a diameter of less than 2.5μm(PM2.5),and the downward UV radiation at the surface(UVB)are used as indices.In addition,the Delphi–AHP–TOPSIS algorithm is introduced and is used for the comprehensive evaluation of the environmental suitability of 684 cities in China for tourism in 2019.It is found that Chinese cities vary greatly in terms of the suitability of their environments for tourism.Among the factors that affect the environmental suitability,the LAI is important,with an increase in the LAI generally being advantageous.In contrast,an increase in the PM2.5 concentration is a key factor that limits the environmental suitability of an area.Thus,urban landscaping and control of the atmospheric quality are essential and effective ways of improving the suitability of the environment of cities in China for tourists.展开更多
