In this model, put forward for the first time using "the space-time distance" to replace "the space- linear distance" and "the city comprehensiveness quality- fuzzy comprehensive assessment Index" to "the urban population or GDP'. Set up the algorithm of including "the space- time distance" and the city radiation scope changed with the changes of traffic conditions. Thus has realized "dynamically" tracing of the city radiation scope influenced by the traffic conditions. Taking Yichang city as an example, the paper analyzed the city function localization in the times of new traffic environments. Because China's cities are at the times of the traffic great changes, therefore, the method and the main conclusions of this paper have some methodology guiding sense to the majority cities of deffernt country to re-position.展开更多
As a sustainable mode of travel,carpooling is an effective solution to environmental and energy problems,but it has not been fully utilized.The research on carpooling attitudes,especially for college students,still ne...As a sustainable mode of travel,carpooling is an effective solution to environmental and energy problems,but it has not been fully utilized.The research on carpooling attitudes,especially for college students,still needs to be improved.In response to this problem,this paper aims to investigate the effect of personal attributes,travel attributes,attitude attributes and other attributes of students on carpooling attitudes in China.To collect the data,an online questionnaire survey was implemented at Shenzhen University,and 514 students participated.Based on the samples,the multinomial logit model is used to explore the contribution of all variables.The model results showed that personal attributes such as sex and age had no significant effect on the attitude of college students towards carpooling.The safety of carpooling and its high cost make college students have a neutral attitude towards it.The most concerning factor for college students in carpooling is comfort.These findings can provide valuable suggestions for measures to be taken in response to different attributes affecting students’attitudes and are particularly important for the university and government to make optimal decisions to motivate students to select carpooling.展开更多
This paper presents the state of piloted flight simulation fidelity with a focus on the missing link needed to complete the flight simulation experience,namely the simulated ATC environment(SATCE).To date,there has be...This paper presents the state of piloted flight simulation fidelity with a focus on the missing link needed to complete the flight simulation experience,namely the simulated ATC environment(SATCE).To date,there has been a great deal of effort invested in providing the highest level of flight realism possible.However,little investment has gone into systems which are used to improve communication skills with ATC while in a populated active airspace.It is important to note that the relatively few SATCEs is not due to the lack of technology,since such products have been available for about a decade.The primary reason for its absence is the inability and unwillingness for operators to justify the investment in such a training tool.In the meantime,the aviation industry has recognized that pilots need to have better communication skills while operating in various conditions.Consequently ICAO,with help from ARINC Industry Activities/FSEMC,has already taken steps to recommend the inclusion of SATCE characteristics in flight simulation devices.The aviation and research communities need to assist efforts by producing the necessary studies and metrics which can be used to evaluate and validate SATCEs used in the flight training.展开更多
