Research on Gray System and Quantitative Model About the Fund-Raising Ability to China Private Equity Fund

It is a rather challenging project to seek the amount of funds raised by funds-raising companies. This paper is focused on China private equity funds that have succeeded in raising their funds. The grey systemic model is applied in the research and a formula is established for the law of fund-raising of the private equity funds in order to sum up the capacity of China private equity investment funds and to establish a model accordingly.

Investigating the Islamic and Conventional Mutual Fund Performance: Evidence From Malaysia Equity Market

The phenomena of financial crisis (2007-2008) shows a significant breakdown of US$16 trillion in conventional financial industry. This provides an opportunity for Islamic capital market to drive the global asset growth investments to investors. Previous studies signal mixture results on Islamic mutual fund (IMF) and conventional mutual fund (CMF) performance. This study aims to analyze the performance of 200 IMFs and CMFs from 2007 to 2015. The sub-sample period of 2007 to 2015 will be compared to the era of financial crisis from 2007-2008. Findings show all types of mutual funds are performed throughout 2007 until 2015. The results provide information that would benefit the investors and market players in asset funds selection.

Main Factors Affecting the Balance of Investments in Serbia and New Trends of Investment

The importance of investment for the development of some country is undeniable. In today＇s economic conditions, it is necessary to observe all the influencing factors and examine their impact on the investments in the economy of some country. The goal of each country is to create a favorable climate （conditions） for the investments, because they stimulate the growth and development of the country. The aim of this paper is to point of the current situation （the past few years） of the foreign investments in Serbia＇s economy and to highlight the main factors that influenced this situation. In a past few years, there is another trend of unexploited resource of investment seen in Serbia, which is more and more attractive in the region, but unfortunately unjustly neglected in Serbia. These sources are venture capital and private equity funds. Some of the influencing factors that must be emphasized are the country＇s general economic situation, political risks, taxation, the financing of the investments, the government＇s incentives （subsidies）, support from some specialized institutions, etc..

Strategic recommendations for financing green and sustainable energy projects

The main hindrances to the large-scale development of renewable-energy projects are the lack of bankability and the inability to align investments and investors with suitable financial instruments or robust policy measures.To illustrate a bankable project,this paper presents a research-based case study on the installation of solar photovoltaic panels on the rooftops of 195 trains of the Indian Railways.Detailed information on the annual running hours,exposure to sunlight,efficiency of solar photovoltaic generation and electrical power demands of each rail coach is considered to conduct a quantitative measure of the tentative amount of fossil fuel sav-ings.The purpose is to provide insight into the types of renewable-energy projects that can be highly attractive to financial institutions and promoters due to their lucrative internal return on investment.As seen in this case study,there are annual savings in diesel of 12323088 litres and a CO_(2) reduction of 32755 tonnes,with return on investment of 1.3 years.Furthermore,this study conducts a com-prehensive analysis of the limitations of existing renewable-energy project financing mechanisms in India.Subsequently,three policy measures are recommended to develop a robust financial mechanism that can effectively meet the needs of investors and investors.These measures include increasing equity injection through a buy-and-hold strategy,providing direct tax benefits to promoters and financing through real-estate investment trusts.The findings are highly relevant to address the challenges associated with bridging the financial gap between access to finance and capital investment in the renewable-energy sector,especially for Asian countries.
