This retains the advantages of genetic algorithms, namely rapid convergence and attainment of the global optimum. Utilization of an orthogonal experiment method solves the determination of the genetic factors. Combination with an expert system can make best use of the actual experience of the plant operators. Simulation results of typical process systems examples show a good control performance and robustness.展开更多

This paper is aimed at designing a multiple expert systems integrated decision support system (MESIDSS) to enhance decision makers' ability in more complex cases. The basic framework, management system of multiple ESs, and functions of MESIDSS are presented. The applications of MESIDSS in large-scale decision making processes are discussed from the following aspects of problem decomposing, dynamic combination of multiple ESs, link of multiple bases and decision coordinating. Finally, a summary and some ideas for the future are presented.展开更多

By reasoning out the conclusion from the fitting results of failure data of a software project, the SRES can recommend users “the most suitable model” as a software reliability measurement model. We believe that the SRES can overcome the inconsistency in applications of software reliability models well. We report investigation results of singularity and parameter estimation methods of experimental models in SRES.展开更多

Facing this challenge, a new tactic, Human-Computer Collaborative (HCC) tactic, and a corresponding new method, Operator-Object Directed (OOD) method, are proposed for the design of a system for feature extraction from large scale aerial images. We hold that in almost all technical complex systems, full automation will be neither technically feasible nor socially acceptable. The system should be designed to optimize through the cooperative operation with two agents in the system: the hurtan and the computer.展开更多
