There are many motors in operation or on standby in nuclear power plants,and the startup of group motors will have a great impact on the voltage of the emergency bus.At present,there is no special or inexpensive softw...There are many motors in operation or on standby in nuclear power plants,and the startup of group motors will have a great impact on the voltage of the emergency bus.At present,there is no special or inexpensive software to solve this problem,and the experience of engineers is not accurate enough.Therefore,this paper developed a method and system for the startup calculation of group motors in nuclear power plants and proposed an automatic generation method of circuit topology in nuclear power plants.Each component in the topology was given its unique number,and the component class could be constructed according to its type and upper and lower connections.The subordination and topology relationship of switches,buses,and motors could be quickly generated by the program according to the component class,and the simplified direct power flow algorithm was used to calculate the power flow for the startup of group motors according to the above relationship.Then,whether the bus voltage is in the safe range and whether the voltage exceeds the limit during the startup of the group motor could be judged.The practical example was used to verify the effectiveness of the method.Compared with other professional software,the method has high efficiency and low cost.展开更多

A new 300 MVA/1350 MJ motor generator (MG) will be built to feed all of the poloidal field power supplies (PFPS) and auxiliary heating power supplies of the HL-2M tokamak. The MG has a vertical-shaft salient pole ...A new 300 MVA/1350 MJ motor generator (MG) will be built to feed all of the poloidal field power supplies (PFPS) and auxiliary heating power supplies of the HL-2M tokamak. The MG has a vertical-shaft salient pole 6-phase synchronous generator and a coaxial 8500 kW induction motor. The Ohmic heating power supply (OHPS) consisting of 4-quadrant DC pulsed convertor is the one with the highest parameters among the PFPS. Therefore, the match between the generator and the OHPS is very important. The matching study with Matlab/Simulink is described in this paper. The simulation results show that the subtransient reactance of the generator is closely related to the inversion operation of the OHPS. By setting various subtransient reactance in the simulation generator model and considering the cost reduction, the optimized parameters are obtained as xd" = 0.405 p.u. at 100 Hz for the generator. The models built in the simulation can be used as an important tool for studying the dynamic characteristics and the control strategy of other HL-2M PFPSes.展开更多

The switchless reluctance motor’s non-permanent magnet structure design ensures its high reliability in the marine environment;thus,it is a feasible solution for the generator of a sea wave power generation system.Ho...The switchless reluctance motor’s non-permanent magnet structure design ensures its high reliability in the marine environment;thus,it is a feasible solution for the generator of a sea wave power generation system.However,the corresponding thrust density and efficiency remain insufficient.This study focused on a new type of flat linear switched reluctance motor(LSRM),using the finite element software to establish a structural model,and optimized the design with the goal of improving the efficiency and energy density.The entropy method was adopted for sensitivity stratification to objectively select weights to avoid the influence of subjectively selected different proportional weights on the optimization results.Based on the entropy method,the sensitivity of different structural parameters was stratified,and the simulated annealing algorithm,response surface method,and single parameter scanning method were combined for optimization.Finally,the optimal structural size parameters of the motor were determined.Based on the two-dimensional finite element method,to simulate the electromagnetic performance of the reluctance motor under different operating conditions,such as thrust,loss,and efficiency,changes in motor performance before and after optimization were compared to verify the high power generation efficiency and energy density of the optimized linear motor.展开更多

Based on the converter topologies, the Bridgeless converters are preferred in order to reduce the number of switching devices, losses associated with it and improve the Power Quality further more. This paper investigates about the Power Factor performances and conduction losses of the Bridgeless Power Factor Corrector Converters which see through the benefits and limitations by analyzing the Bridgeless Buck-Boost Converter, Bridgeless SEPIC converter and Bridgeless CUK converter. The resultant voltage is fed to the BLDC motor which is rapidly replacing the Induction motor for its better operating characteristics. These strategies are being analyzed using the MATLAB/Simulink software and the results are verified through the experimental analysis. The converter choice is preferred through the performance characteristics and Power Factor Correction at the supply. This paper firstly recommends the basic concept of dynamic equivalent and the status of both domestic and abroad development in this area. The most existing equivalent methods usually only deal with static load models and neglect the dynamic characteristics of loads such as induction motors. In addition, the existing polymerization method which is based on the frequency domain algorithm of induction electric machines parameters takes a long time to equivalent for the large system, then the new method based on the weighted is proposed. Then, the basic steps for dynamic equivalence with the weighted method are introduced as follows. At first, the clustering criterion of motor loads based on time domain simulation is given. The motors with similar dynamic characteristics are classified into one group. Then, the simplication of the buses of motors in same group and network is carried out. Finally, parameters of the equivalent motor are calculated and the equivalent system is thus obtained based on the weighted. This aggregation method is applied to the simple distribution system of 4 generators. Simulation results show that the method can quickly obtain polymerization parameters of generator groups and the aggregation model retains the dynamic performance of the original model with good accuracy, the active and reactive power fitting error is smaller as well.展开更多

Our theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental data. Our study not only reveals that the maximum efficiency depends on elasticity and is independent of transition rates but also indicates that the parameters fitted to fast muscle are different from those fitted to a slow one. The latter may imply that the structure of the fast muscle is different from that of the slow one. The main reason that our model succeeds is that velocity in this model is an independent variable.展开更多

It has significant advantages in improving the missile’s water exit speed, anti-interference capability, and enemy striking power. The prediction of the underwater loading is a preliminary factor for the power system design of the underwater vehicle. This paper presents a rapid prediction method and validated by the experimental study for the underwater thrust of the solid rocket motor. Based on the potential flow assumption of the water field, a model of the bubble and a one-dimensional quasi-steady model of the nozzle are established to directly solve the flow status of the nozzle. The aerodynamic thrust and hydrodynamic thrust have been calculated and analyzed. The calculation results are within 5% error of the experimental results. Moreover, a design platform to predict the underwater thrust of the solid rocket motor has been developed based on Python and the PyQt library, which shows excellent system adaptability and computational efficiency.展开更多

Thispaper describes an investigation about the effect of the zero voltage space vectors in the DTCsystem of PMSM and points out that if using the zero voltage space vectors rationally, not only canthe DTC system be driven successfully but also the torque ripple is reduced and the performance ofthe system is improved. This paper also studies the sensorless technique in the DTC system of PMSMand configures the DTC system of PMSM with sensorless technique including zero voltage spacevectors. Numerical simulations and experimental tests have proved the theory correct. This paper presents a new a...Failure of induction motors are a large concern due to its influence over industrial production. Motor current signature analysis (MCSA) is common practice in industry to find motor faults. This paper presents a new approach to detection and diagnosis of motor bearing faults based on induction motor stator current analysis. Tests were performed with three bearing conditions: baseline, outer race fault and inner race fault. Because the signals associated with faults produce small modulations to supply component and high nose levels, a modulation signal bispectrum (MSB) is used in this paper to detect and diagnose different motor bearing defects. The results show that bearing faults can induced a detestable amplitude increases at its characteristic frequencies. MSB peaks show a clear difference at these frequencies whereas conventional power spectrum provides change evidences only at some of the frequencies. This shows that MSB has a better and reliable performance in extract small changes from the faulty bearing for fault detection and diagnosis. In addition, the study also show that current signals from motors with variable frequency drive controller have too much noise and it is unlikely to discriminate the small bearing fault component.展开更多

文摘Deduced the relationship between the power factor (PF) and the angular fre-quency according to the simplified equivalent circuit of asynchronous motor, forming a power factor auto-control system. An anti-interference circuit was also introduced in the middle voltage link of inverter to avoid the shift of the optimum PF point caused by the change of the load and the reliable run of the control system was assured. The experi-ment results show that it has a good self-adaptation in the whole scope of speed ad-justment and an obvious economization on energy while it runs under load.

文摘In industries DC motor drives are very essential due to their high performance applications such as its reliability, ease of control, low cost and simplicity. And speed control of these motors is very easy due to power electronic AC-DC converters. These power electronic converters are with prominent low power factor and higher Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). These converters operate only for short time resulting non-sinusoidal waveform. This problem of harmonic distortion can be mitigated by reshaping the non-sinusoidal waveform to pure sine wave. Different wave shaping techniques have been developed by using different filters among which one is tuned passive filter. This paper proposed power factor improvement and harmonic mitigation of AC-DC converters based on separately excited DC motor using tuned passive filter. In this context experimental model is designed and results are analyzed by power quality analyzer.

文摘We proposed a modified ratchet model including power-stroke and elastic coupling to study the efficiency of collective non-processive motors such as myosin Ⅱ in muscle. Our theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental data. Our study not only reveals that the maximum efficiency depends on elasticity and is independent of transition rates but also indicates that the parameters fitted to fast muscle are different from those fitted to a slow one. The latter may imply that the structure of the fast muscle is different from that of the slow one. The main reason that our model succeeds is that velocity in this model is an independent variable.
文摘The solid rocket motor driven system is one of the common ways for submarines to launch underwater missiles. It has significant advantages in improving the missile’s water exit speed, anti-interference capability, and enemy striking power. The prediction of the underwater loading is a preliminary factor for the power system design of the underwater vehicle. This paper presents a rapid prediction method and validated by the experimental study for the underwater thrust of the solid rocket motor. Based on the potential flow assumption of the water field, a model of the bubble and a one-dimensional quasi-steady model of the nozzle are established to directly solve the flow status of the nozzle. The aerodynamic thrust and hydrodynamic thrust have been calculated and analyzed. The calculation results are within 5% error of the experimental results. Moreover, a design platform to predict the underwater thrust of the solid rocket motor has been developed based on Python and the PyQt library, which shows excellent system adaptability and computational efficiency.

文摘The direct torque control theory has achieved great success in the control ofinduction motors. However, in the DTC drive system of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (PMSM)proposed a few years ago, there are many basic theoretical problems that must be clarified. Thispaper describes an investigation about the effect of the zero voltage space vectors in the DTCsystem of PMSM and points out that if using the zero voltage space vectors rationally, not only canthe DTC system be driven successfully but also the torque ripple is reduced and the performance ofthe system is improved. This paper also studies the sensorless technique in the DTC system of PMSMand configures the DTC system of PMSM with sensorless technique including zero voltage spacevectors. Numerical simulations and experimental tests have proved the theory correct. In thecondition of sensor-less, the DTC system of PMSM is wide-rangely speed adjusting, and the ratio ofspeed adjustment is 1: 100.

文摘Sliding mode control(SMC)has been studied since the 1950s and widely used in practical applications due to its insensitivity to matched disturbances.The aim of this paper is to present a review of SMC describing the key developments and examining the new trends and challenges for its application to power electronic systems.The fundamental theory of SMC is briefly reviewed and the key technical problems associated with the implementation of SMC to power converters and drives,such chattering phenomenon and variable switching frequency,are discussed and analyzed.The recent developments in SMC systems,future challenges and perspectives of SMC for power converters are discussed.
文摘Failure of induction motors are a large concern due to its influence over industrial production. Motor current signature analysis (MCSA) is common practice in industry to find motor faults. This paper presents a new approach to detection and diagnosis of motor bearing faults based on induction motor stator current analysis. Tests were performed with three bearing conditions: baseline, outer race fault and inner race fault. Because the signals associated with faults produce small modulations to supply component and high nose levels, a modulation signal bispectrum (MSB) is used in this paper to detect and diagnose different motor bearing defects. The results show that bearing faults can induced a detestable amplitude increases at its characteristic frequencies. MSB peaks show a clear difference at these frequencies whereas conventional power spectrum provides change evidences only at some of the frequencies. This shows that MSB has a better and reliable performance in extract small changes from the faulty bearing for fault detection and diagnosis. In addition, the study also show that current signals from motors with variable frequency drive controller have too much noise and it is unlikely to discriminate the small bearing fault component.
