Inorganic anions in slightly soluble organic solvents can be determined by the in-line hollow fiber membrane extractor coupled with ion chromatography at first time. Different aspects of the extraction procedure such as magnetic stirring speed, extraction flow rate and extraction time were optimized to achieve high extraction efficiency and good separation results. Satisfactory linear range, limits of detection and good repeatability were obtained. The procedure was applied to analyze inorganic anions in two commercial ethyl acetate samples.展开更多

The extraction behavior of 1,3-dipropyn-2-yl-oxycalix[4]arene towards mercury(Ⅱ) ion was examined. When the mole ratio of Hg^2+/calixarene was 1:1, the extractive percent can reach to 99.1%, and the extraction capacity was up to 431 mg/g. It could also decrease the Hg^2+ concentration from 5 to 0.85 mg/L, which was only 17% of the national standard of effluent and satisfied the national standard of drinking water. Rechargeable aqueous zinc ion batteries(AZIBs)were considered as one of the most promising candidates for large-scale energy storage due to the merits of high safety and inexpensiveness.As AZIBs cathode material,Mn O_...Rechargeable aqueous zinc ion batteries(AZIBs)were considered as one of the most promising candidates for large-scale energy storage due to the merits of high safety and inexpensiveness.As AZIBs cathode material,Mn O_(2)possesses great merits but was greatly hindered due to the sluggish diffusion kinetic of Zn^(2+) during electrochemical operations.Herein,deep Zn^(2+) ions intercalatedδ-Mn O_(2)(Zn-Mn O_(2))was achieved by the in situ electrochemical deposition route,which significantly enhanced the diffusion ability of Zn^(2+) due to the synergistic effects of Zn^(2+) pillars and structural H;O.The resultant Zn-Mn O_(2)based AZIBs delivers a record capacity of 696 m Ah/g(0.5 m Ah/cm^(2))based on the initial mass loading,which is approaching the theoretical capacity of Mn O_(2)with a two-electrons reaction.In-situ Raman studies reveal highly reversible Zn^(2+)ions insertion/extraction behaviors and here the Zn-Mn O_(2)plays the role of a container during the charge–discharge process.Further charge storage mechanism investigations point out the insertion/extraction of Zn^(2+) and H^(+) coincides,and such process is significantly facilitated results from superior interlayered configurations of Zn-Mn O_(2)The excellent electrochemical performance of Zn-Mn O_(2)achieved in this work suggests the deep ions pre-intercalation strategy may aid in the future development of advanced cathodes for AZIBs.展开更多

For plasma source, the extraction of negative ions is quite different from that of positive ions. To understand the effect of extraction field on plasma, the time-dependent behavior of negative hydrogen ion extraction...For plasma source, the extraction of negative ions is quite different from that of positive ions. To understand the effect of extraction field on plasma, the time-dependent behavior of negative hydrogen ion extraction from a negative ion source has been studied by particle-in-cell simulation in the collisionless limit. The simulations have shown that, due to the difference in dynamics between electrons and ions, the imbalance of the numbers of charged particles occurs in the source, results in the broadening of plasma sheath and the great increase of plasma potential. The resultant high sheath field and the ambipolar electric field in plasma make the negatively charged particles congregate inside the sheath and move toward the extraction outlet. The emission area of negative ions is much smaller than that of the extraction aperture, which is in sharp contrast to the case of positive ion extraction.展开更多
Effective extraction and regeneration of radioactive iodide is one of urgent concerns for the safe utilization of nuclear energy.As a novel environmentally benign ion separation technique,electrochemically switched io...Effective extraction and regeneration of radioactive iodide is one of urgent concerns for the safe utilization of nuclear energy.As a novel environmentally benign ion separation technique,electrochemically switched ion extraction(ESIE)process can be applied for effective capture and recovery of iodide ions(I^(-)).Herein,a novel kelp seaweed-like core/shell I^(-)imprinted polypyrrole@bismuth oxyiodide(PPy/I^(-)@BiOI)composite film is successfully prepared for the selective I^(-)capture in the ESIE system.It is found that the I^(-)can be easily trapped in the PPy/I^(-)@BiOI film after I^(-)is in situ desorbed from the film by an electrochemical reduction process since it offers particular electroactive binding sites for I^(-)extraction.The I^(-)imprinted PPy/I^(-)@BiOI film displays an extraction capacity as high as 325.2 mg·g^(-1)for I^(-)with favorable stability.In particular,the extraction and desorption of I^(-)is achieved by adjusting the redox potential and the pristine PPy/I^(-)@BiOI film can be regenerated and reused for multiple times without decrease in extraction capacity.It is expected that such a PPy/I^(-)@BiOI film would be useful as an electrochemically switched renewable extractor that could capture and regenerate I^(-)from radioactive water.展开更多

Four commercially available chelating agent...Extraction of heavy metal ions from solid matrix by means of an incorporation of chelating agents with supercritical carbon dioxide(scCO2) was investigated experimentally. Four commercially available chelating agents, diethylammonium diethyldithiocarbamate(Et2NH2DDC), trifluoroacetylacetone(TFA), hexafluoroacetylacetone(HFA) and thenoyltrifluoroacetone(TTA) were tested. The extraction experiments were conducted at 50 °C and 1.39×107― 2.80×107 Pa. According to the experimental results, for the extraction of Cu2+, all the chelating agents investigated here are effective. For other metal ions, such as Pb2+, Ni2+ and Cd2+, Et2NH2DDC exhibited a better extraction result, while other chelating agents were less effective. This investigation is expected to provide a tentative evaluation on the scCO2-based metal extraction from solid media.展开更多

A series of tests were conducted to verify the composition, crystal structure and electrochemical property of the delithiated cathode materials were all desirable. The cationic bluish complex is highly insensitive and not extractable in organic solvents. Similarly, the bluish violet 1:3 neutral complex is of moderate sensitivity, and it is extractable in organic solvents with reduced sensitivity. The purple 1:3 anionic complex is as such not extractable in any organic solvents. However, in the surfactant medium of the cationic surfactant, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide it is extractable in organic solvents with enhanced sensitivity. The 1:3 anionic complex which is extractable in organic solvents as an ion associate in the presence of cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide is chosen for application to Silicate rocks, Minerals, Soils, Stream sediments, Concentrates, Tobacco leaves, Cigarettes and Waters, for accurate and sensitive determination of iron owing to facile extraction of iron, enhanced sensitivity high selectivity and better reproducibility of results. The present paper describes a systematic study on the development of an extraction spectrophotometric method for the determination of iron in samples of diverse matrices.展开更多

文摘Extraction of heavy metal ions from solid matrix by means of an incorporation of chelating agents with supercritical carbon dioxide(scCO2) was investigated experimentally. Four commercially available chelating agents, diethylammonium diethyldithiocarbamate(Et2NH2DDC), trifluoroacetylacetone(TFA), hexafluoroacetylacetone(HFA) and thenoyltrifluoroacetone(TTA) were tested. The extraction experiments were conducted at 50 °C and 1.39×107― 2.80×107 Pa. According to the experimental results, for the extraction of Cu2+, all the chelating agents investigated here are effective. For other metal ions, such as Pb2+, Ni2+ and Cd2+, Et2NH2DDC exhibited a better extraction result, while other chelating agents were less effective. This investigation is expected to provide a tentative evaluation on the scCO2-based metal extraction from solid media.

文摘An inductively coupled radio frequency ion source has been developed and its extraction characteristics measured. Beam current density up to 0.11 mA/ cm2 was obtained with argon at a rf discharge power of about 140 W. The dependences of ion beam on the discharge parameters such as rf source power, gas pressure and gas flow rate was studied.

文摘A method of conventional chemical reaction to prepare delithiated cathode materials of Li-ion battery was introduced. The cathode material of Li-ion battery was mixed with oxidizing agent Na2S2O8 in water solution, and the solution was stirred continuously to make the chemical reaction proceed sufficiently, then the reaction product was filtered and finally the insoluble delithiated cathode material was obtained. A series of tests were conducted to verify the composition, crystal structure and electrochemical property of the delithiated cathode materials were all desirable. This method overcomes the shortcomings of battery charging preparation and chemical extraction preparation employing other oxidizing agents.
文摘Iron irrespective of its valency states forms bluish 1:1 cationic, bluish-violet 1:3 neutral and purple 1:3 anionic complexes with 2,3-dihydroxynaphthalene, at pH 2 - 3, 4 - 5 and 8 - 10, respectively. The cationic bluish complex is highly insensitive and not extractable in organic solvents. Similarly, the bluish violet 1:3 neutral complex is of moderate sensitivity, and it is extractable in organic solvents with reduced sensitivity. The purple 1:3 anionic complex is as such not extractable in any organic solvents. However, in the surfactant medium of the cationic surfactant, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide it is extractable in organic solvents with enhanced sensitivity. The 1:3 anionic complex which is extractable in organic solvents as an ion associate in the presence of cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide is chosen for application to Silicate rocks, Minerals, Soils, Stream sediments, Concentrates, Tobacco leaves, Cigarettes and Waters, for accurate and sensitive determination of iron owing to facile extraction of iron, enhanced sensitivity high selectivity and better reproducibility of results. The present paper describes a systematic study on the development of an extraction spectrophotometric method for the determination of iron in samples of diverse matrices.
