Study on the clinical effect and safety of Kangfuxin liquid combined with microneedling in the treatment of facial skin photoaging

Background and Objectives:Microneedling has been introduced as a new technique to address the growing concern of facial skin photoaging.Kangfuxin liquid has been found to promote the process of skin wound repair,including reducing inflammatory response,improving immunity and enhancing antioxidant levels.In this prospective randomized double-blinded study,we wanted to explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Kangfuxin liquid combined with microneedling in treating facial skin photoaging.Methods:57 patients with facial skin photoaging were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group(28 cases)received microneedle therapy with Kangfuxin liquid,while the control group(29 cases)received microneedle therapy with physiological saline.The treatment interval was 4 weeks,and a total of 3 treatments were performed.Compare the VISIA scores of facial photoaging features such as wrinkles,texture,pores,spots and ultraviolet pigmentation between two groups of patients before and after treatment,Global Score for Photoaging,satisfaction evaluation,and record the occurrence of adverse reactions.Results:After treatment,the treatment group showed more significant improvement in wrinkles,texture,pores,spots and ultraviolet pigmentation,and the Global Score for Photoaging was better than the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate with improving skin in the treatment group was 85.71%,which was higher than 75.86%in the control group(P<0.05).Both groups did not experience adverse reactions such as skin infection,pigmentation or hypopigmentation,scar formation,or worsening of melasma.Conclusion:Kangfuxin liquid combined with microneedling therapy has a good improvement effect on facial skin photoaging,with a low incidence of adverse reactions and high patient satisfaction.It is worthy of clinical promotion. 展开更多

Expanded Follicle-Sulcus-Crack Complex Is an Early Warning Sign of Facial Skin Aging: Improvement by Application of Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate-Containing Skin Product

Background: Wrinkles, pigmented spots, and roughness are representative parameters reflecting facial skin aging. Sulci cutis connecting to follicular orifices frequently form perifollicular cracks, which join together adjacent sulci. This follicle-sulcus-crack complex (FSCC) is exacerbated by dehydration. Purpose: Although dehydration is associated with facial skin aging, FSCC’s implications in facial skin aging remain unresolved. Method: We measured facial skin parameters in 1999 and 2010 in 108 Japanese women, and in 2006 and 2016 in 182 Chinese women. We addressed whether expansion of FSCC is associated with other skin aging parameters. We also examined whether skin moisturizer can reverse the expanded FSCC. Results: In both clinical studies, FSCC severity as well as wrinkles, spots, and roughness significantly deteriorated with age. Notably, FSCC significantly increased as early as in subjects in their 20s, whereas wrinkles, spots, and roughness became conspicuous in those in their 40s or older. Moreover, subjects with more severe FSCC in the initial measurement exhibited significantly worse wrinkles, spots, and roughness in the second measurement a decade later. Dehydration was significantly correlated with expanded FSCC. Furthermore, FSCC expansion was reversed after appropriate moisturization by daily application of Galactomyces ferment filtrate (GFF)-containing skincare product (SK-II Skin Power Cream) for 4 weeks in 37 women. Conclusion: The expanded FSCC is likely to be an early indicator of facial skin aging. Appropriate moisturization may reduce FSCC formation and decelerate facial skin aging. 展开更多

Objective and Self-Perceived Facial Skin Status Using Whitening Efficacy of Cosmetic Products on Taiwan Residents Women

Background: Tranexamic acid and vitamin C derivatives are important reagent used in cosmetic skin-whitening products. Recently, self-perceptions regarding improvement in facial skin status have been increasingly recognized as an important outcome of whitening cosmetic products intervention. Aims: The purpose of the study was to determine the receptiveness of objective and self-perceived facial skin status using whitening cosmetic products. Methods: A total of 40 volunteers were photographed using the Visia<sup>?</sup> machine and completed questionnaires at pre- and post-operation (8 weeks after receiving whitening cosmetic products). Visia<sup>?</sup> digital image analysis and questionnaires were used for assessment of facial skin status. The receptiveness of objective and self-perceived measures was assessed by paired t test and Effect Size (ES). Results: There were progresses with regard to the surface spot (ES = 0.22), wrinkles (ES = 0.24), texture (ES = 0.31) and pores (ES = 0.21) after using cosmetic products with tranexamic acid. For self-perceived measures, there were significant progresses in pigmented spots (ES = 0.75), rough complexion (ES = 0.76), red complexion (ES = 0.41), wrinkle (ES = 0.58) and obvious pores (ES = 0.75). Conclusions: This study suggests that the whitening cosmetic products are associated with improvement of objective and self-perceived facial skin status. The results could be provided as available information for cosmetic investigation. 展开更多

This paper has provided references for the evaluation of men’s facial skin cleanness and efficacy through the research on the cleanness of a men’s facial cleanser,the oil-controlling,moisturizing and brightening effects of a men’s skin lotion,and the people’s usage experience.The results showed that the skin grease and the liquid foundation could be effectively cleaned after using a facial cleanser.After using the lotion for 2 weeks,the oil content was significantly different from that before and in the blank group,showing a rapid oil control effect.Excellent moisturizing effect could last until 4 weeks.There was a significant difference in the change value of skin transdermal water loss rate,indicating that the skin barrier was improved to some extent.There was remarkable effect of skin glossiness after 4 weeks of continual use compared with the blank group.The subjects’overall satisfaction with the skin after using the lotion was 86.7%through self-assessment. 展开更多

Background: Aged skin exhibits visual alterations such as wrinkles, rough texture, pore dilation, and dull skin tone, as well as physiological aging, namely, decreased hydration and increased transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Recent advances in coherence tomography have also revealed that skin aging affects in vivo epidermal keratinocyte architecture. However, the interconnectivity between spatial architectural aging and visual/physiological aging parameters remains largely unknown. Purpose: To elucidate whether the tomographic keratinocyte architectural aging is correlated with visual and physiological skin aging parameters and to quantitatively evaluate the improvements of the architectural, visual, and physiological aging parameters by the daily treatment of the skin care formula containing Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate (GFF, 8X Pitera<sup>TM</sup>). Method: We measured the in vivo keratinocyte cellular architecture with two-photon stereoscopic tomography obtaining by-layer epidermal section images in 78 Asian females of various ages. Visual aging parameters were analyzed using a portable image capture system. Hydration and TEWL were also assessed. The anti-aging effects of GFF-containing skin moisturizer (SK-II LXP Cream<sup>TM</sup>) were also examined in two studies after twice-daily application for 2 (N = 35) and 4 (N = 32) weeks. Results: As for the keratinocyte cellular architecture, skin aging was significantly associated with decreased cell density and increased cell uniformity. These architectural aging parameters were significantly correlated with visual and physiological aging parameters, namely, rough texture, wrinkles, pore dilation, dull skin tone, dehydration, and increased TEWL. The strong interconnectivity allowed us to develop formulae to estimate the keratinocyte architecture from visual aging parameters. Moreover, twice-daily application of SK-II significantly improved the keratinocyte architecture associated with multiple skin aging visual and physiological parameters. Conclusion: Skin aging is a process involving mutual interconnections among epidermal keratinocyte cellular architecture, visual, and physiological parameters. The GFF-containing moisturizer SK-II effectively improves spatial architecture of keratinocytes in epidermis and these evaluated skin aging parameters in a new trajectory over the course of treatment. . 展开更多

To evaluate the efficacy of online learning and explore the impact of long-term use of electronic products on facial skin as well as eyes.A cross-sectional survey was conducted to 180 sophomores in Xi′an Jiaotong University by cluster random sampling from September to October 2021.The questionnaire covering study condition,skin lesion and Ocular Surface Disease Index.χ_(2) test was used to compare the facial skin condition among different groups,and spearman correlation test was used to test the correlation of rank data.During online education,students′learning pressure is reduced,their autonomy is improved,and the learning efficiency is reduced.There were differences in the incidence of facial itching and papules among different groups.Duration of use of electronic products was positively correlated with the facial itching,with an r value of 0.231(P<0.05);the proportion of pigmentation in non-blue light protection groups(12.8%)was higher than that in blue light protection groups(1.7%),the difference was statistically significant(χ_(2)=8.384,P<0.05).The prevalence of dry eye among college students is 66.7%,and the proportion of moderate to severe dry eye is 34.5%.The study autonomy has been improved during online teaching.Long-term use of electronic products and no blue light protection have an impact on facial skin.Students should enhance the knowledge of skin-care and eye-care and develop better habits. 展开更多

To treat large facial defect (more than 6 cm×4 cm in diameter ) or a wound with bone exposure to atmosphere by less traumatic, easier healing reconstruction method, a pedicle flap including facial, neck, posterior auricle and occipital skin flap was designed and transferred, one by one, to repair facial defect as well as other flap donor sites, but occipital skin flap was only used to cover posterior auricle area. After 2-3 years follow up, well healed skin flaps with good color, elasticity and sensation were observed in all 16 patients. It is concluded that this method is effective and practical. 展开更多

目的:探究精准脉冲光(Delicate pulse light,DPL)联合注射用透明质酸钠复合溶液改善面部年轻化的应用效果。方法:纳入2022年7月-2023年1月在北京积水潭医院皮肤科门诊就诊的女性就医者60例,随机分为对照组(予以DPL治疗,n=30)和观察组(予... 目的:探究精准脉冲光(Delicate pulse light,DPL)联合注射用透明质酸钠复合溶液改善面部年轻化的应用效果。方法:纳入2022年7月-2023年1月在北京积水潭医院皮肤科门诊就诊的女性就医者60例,随机分为对照组(予以DPL治疗,n=30)和观察组(予以DPL联合透明质酸钠复合溶液注射治疗,n=30)。连续治疗3个月,比较两组治疗前后面部肤质、皮肤屏障功能改善情况以及治疗中不良反应发生情况。结果:治疗后,两组就医者表面色素、红区、皱纹、毛孔、紫外线色斑、卟啉、棕色斑数据均下降,且观察组低于对照组(P<0.05)。治疗后,两组皮肤含水量、油脂含量均上升,且观察组高于对照组(P<0.05),两组表皮水分丢失量(Trans epidermal water loss,TEWL)均下降,且观察组低于对照组(P<0.05)。治疗后,观察组总有效率为100.00%,高于对照组的86.67%(P<0.05)。观察组不良反应总发生率为23.33%,高于对照组的13.33%,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论:DPL联合透明质酸钠复合溶液注射治疗用于面部年轻化治疗中可改善面部肤质情况,增强皮肤屏障功能,具有较高的疗效,且安全性较高。 展开更多

为解决全面部皱纹缺乏量化评价方法的问题,提出了一种基于自适应尺度混合海森滤波器(adaptive scale hybrid Hessian filter,ASHHF)的面部皱纹检测方法及评分机制。根据受试者年龄自适应调整海森滤波器的尺寸(σ)范围及步长参数并对其... 为解决全面部皱纹缺乏量化评价方法的问题,提出了一种基于自适应尺度混合海森滤波器(adaptive scale hybrid Hessian filter,ASHHF)的面部皱纹检测方法及评分机制。根据受试者年龄自适应调整海森滤波器的尺寸(σ)范围及步长参数并对其面部高分辨率图像进行滤波,基于81个面部特征点在滤波结果中去除五官、背景,仅保留面部皱纹,使用不同颜色将不同深度的皱纹检测结果标注在原始图像中,最后计算得分量化皮肤衰老程度。以专业医生标注皱纹为参考,50名受试者(年龄为22~65岁)的检测结果表明,相比于传统的固定尺度混合海森滤波器(fixed scale hybrid Hessian filter,FSHHF),ASHHF方法的检测准确率平均提升68.57%,运行时间平均缩短26.26%,评分机制结果与检测准确率的变化趋势一致。综上,本文检测方法能够准确、快速检测面部皱纹分布、深度及宽度,所提评分机制能够科学反映受试者皮肤衰老程度,有望为化妆品、医疗美容等抗衰方法提供功效量化评价手段。 展开更多

目的探究透明质酸敷料与吡美莫司乳膏联合治疗方案用于面部敏感性皮肤病中的应用效果。方法选取2021年1月—2023年1月本院收治的60例面部敏感性皮肤患者为研究对象,并按照随机数字法将其分为两组,每组各30例,参照组采用吡美莫司软膏治疗... 目的探究透明质酸敷料与吡美莫司乳膏联合治疗方案用于面部敏感性皮肤病中的应用效果。方法选取2021年1月—2023年1月本院收治的60例面部敏感性皮肤患者为研究对象,并按照随机数字法将其分为两组,每组各30例,参照组采用吡美莫司软膏治疗,研究组则以此为治疗基础,联合透明质酸敷料进行医治,观察并分析两组治疗不同时期的皮肤瘙痒(SP)、烧灼感(SB)、面部红斑、纹理与毛孔等面部敏感状态变化状况,以及患者面部皱纹(FWS)、生活质量(DLQI)改善效果与不良反应发生情况。结果两组治疗前SP、SB、FWS、DLQL评分、面部红斑、纹理、毛孔评分与组间不良反应发生率对比,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);研究组治疗6周后的SP、SB评分、面部红斑、毛孔及纹理评分、FWS评分、DLQI评分与参照组对比均较低,组间对比差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论采用吡美莫司软膏与透明质酸敷料联合治疗面部敏感性皮肤疾病,不仅可以有效缓解患者的皮肤瘙痒、烧灼感,且对患者的皮肤红斑、毛孔等敏感状态和面部皱纹、生活质量状况也有良好的改善作用,还不易引发不良反应,具有较高的治疗安全性,适合用于临床推广。 展开更多

目的分析自体脂肪移植联合水光注射微交联透明质酸在面部年轻化中的应用效果。方法按照随机数字表法将于西安医学院第二附属医院美容科要求面部年轻化的60例患者分为对照组和研究组,各30例。对照组接受水光注射微交联透明质酸治疗,研究... 目的分析自体脂肪移植联合水光注射微交联透明质酸在面部年轻化中的应用效果。方法按照随机数字表法将于西安医学院第二附属医院美容科要求面部年轻化的60例患者分为对照组和研究组,各30例。对照组接受水光注射微交联透明质酸治疗,研究组在对照组基础上接受自体脂肪移植治疗。比较两组的手术效果。结果研究组的面部轮廓治疗总有效率显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。术后,研究组的皮肤弹性、皮肤含水量、经水皮肤流失、皮脂和黑色素明显优于对照组(P<0.05)。术后,研究组的基质金属蛋白酶-1(MMP-1)、基质金属蛋白酶-12(MMP-12)及活性氧簇(ROS)水平低于对照组(P<0.05)。两组的不良反应总发生率比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。术后,研究组的生活质量综合评定问卷(GQOLI-74)评分高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论自体脂肪移植联合水光注射微交联透明质酸对于改善面部年轻化有较好效果,能够改善患者的面部轮廓、皮肤状态和血清指标,且治疗相对安全。 展开更多

ALA is the subject of research in a wide range of human health care fields, including skin care and medicine. This study investigated whether and to what extent cosmetics containing ALA (skin lotions and creams) improved facial-skin condition in women. As such, a double-blind controlled experiment was conducted among 45 women aged 47.0 ± 1.72 years. Participants were divided into two intervention groups, including those who used cosmetics containing ALA (C-ALA, n = 22) and those who used cosmetics without ALA (W-ALA, n = 23). Specifically, participants were instructed to use their assigned cosmetics twice per day (morning and evening) after washing their faces before each application. Inner skin condition and skin-water content were evaluated via VISIA-Evolution and Multi Display Devices at baseline and after four and eight weeks of use. The experiment lasted for a total of eight weeks. A baseline comparison at week four showed that skin moisture content increased significantly for the C-ALA group (p = 0.021). Further, wrinkling significantly decreased at week four among participants in the C-ALA group who were evaluated as having many wrinkles at baseline (p = 0.034). These findings suggest that cosmetics containing ALA have moisturizing effects and reduce wrinkling caused by dryness. 展开更多

目的:探讨强脉冲光(Intense pulsed light,LPL)联合酵母重组胶原蛋白凝胶治疗面部糖皮质激素依赖性皮炎(Facial hormone dependent dermatitis,FHDD)的效果。方法:将2021年1月-2022年3月笔者医院收治的100例FHDD患者随机均分为观察组和... 目的:探讨强脉冲光(Intense pulsed light,LPL)联合酵母重组胶原蛋白凝胶治疗面部糖皮质激素依赖性皮炎(Facial hormone dependent dermatitis,FHDD)的效果。方法:将2021年1月-2022年3月笔者医院收治的100例FHDD患者随机均分为观察组和对照组,每组50例。两组均采用IPL及其他常规措施治疗,观察组加涂酵母重组胶原蛋白凝胶治疗,对照组加涂安慰剂(酵母重组胶原蛋白模拟状凝胶)。比较治疗前后两组疗效、皮肤生理参数、血清炎症因子和免疫球蛋白水平、皮肤病生活质量指数(Dermatology life quality index,DLQI)。结果:观察组治疗总有效率80.00%高于对照组52.00%(P<0.05)。治疗后,两组经皮水分散失(Transepidermal water loss,TEWL)水平、血清白细胞介素(IL-4)、干扰素(IFN-γ)、免疫球蛋白(IgE、IgA、IgM)水平、DLQI量表评分均较治疗前降低,且观察组低于对照组(P<0.05)。两组患者表皮皮脂含量和角质层含水量较治疗前升高,且观察组高于对照组(P<0.05)。两组患者不良反应发生率比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。随访6个月,观察组复发率5.00%低于对照组25.00%(P<0.05)。结论:IPL联合酵母重组胶原蛋白凝胶治疗FHDD效果确切,能改善皮肤生理参数,调节血清炎症因子和免疫球蛋白水平,提高患者生活质量。 展开更多
