In this perspective, through optimal computational fluid dynamics models and experiments, the relationship between power consumption, volumetric mass transfer rate(kLa) and initial bubble size(d0) was constructed to establish an efficient operation mode for the aeration process of non-Newtonian fluids. It was found that reducing the d0could significantly increase the oxygen mass transfer rate, resulting in an obvious decrease in the ventilation volume and impeller speed. When d0was regulated within 2-5 mm,an optimal kLa could be achieved, and 21% of power consumption could be saved, compared to the case of bubbles with a diameter of 10 mm.展开更多

Purpose: Recent acquisitions suggest that iron deficiency represents a concrete bias in the pathogenetic mechanism of chronic HF, so we have investigated the putative role of the hepcidin/ferroportin axis in the cardiovascular setting to advocate novel pharmacological and clinical approaches. Methods: Here, after an excursus on iron metabolism, we first reviewed the ongoing studies on novel iron targeted compounds. Then, we summarize large clinical interventional studies conducted on patient suffering from iron deficiency and HF which have tested the effects of drugging iron regard QoL, hospitalizations and cardiovascular death. Results: Novel compounds such as hepcidin agonist (PTG 300), synthetic human hepcidin (LJPC-401) and anti FPN (Vamifeport) are ongoing in iron overloaded patients, while the hepcidin blocker (PRS-080) is under investigation in anemic patients. Noteworthy, novel insights could arise from the results of a Phase IV interventional study regarding the modification of hepcidin pathway in a large cohort of HF patients (n = 1992) by sodium glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors. To date, several studies highlight the beneficial effect of iron administration in cardiovascular setting and latest evidences consider hepcidin level as a novel biomarker of cardiac injury and atherosclerosis. Conclusions: We advocate that data from ongoing studies will suggest novel iron targeted therapies for diagnosis, prognosis and therapy transferable in selected heart failed patients.展开更多

文摘Effective monitoring of the structural health of combined coal-rock under complex geological conditions by pressure stimulated currents(PSCs)has great potential for the understanding of dynamic disasters in underground engineering. To reveal the effect of this way,the uniaxial compression experiments with PSC monitoring were conducted on three types of coal-rock combination samples with different strength combinations. The mechanism explanation of PSCs are investigated by resistivity test, atomic force microscopy(AFM)and computed tomography(CT)methods, and a PSC flow model based on progressive failure process is proposed. The influence of strength combinations on PSCs in the progressive failure process are emphasized. The results show the PSC responses between rock part, coal part and the two components are different, which are affected by multi-scale fracture characteristics and electrical properties. As the rock strength decreases, the progressive failure process changes obviously with the influence range of interface constraint effect decreasing, resulting in the different responses of PSC strength and direction in different parts to fracture behaviors. The PSC flow model is initially validated by the relationship between the accumulated charges of different parts. The results are expected to provide a new reference and method for mining design and roadway quality assessment.

文摘An extra-large landslide occurred on June 19,2021,on the footwall slope of the Nanfen Open-pit Iron Mine in Liaoning Province,China, with a volume of approximately 1.2×107 m3.To elucidate the causative factors, development process, and destructive mechanisms of this catastrophic landslide, comprehensive field tests, investigations, and laboratory experiments were conducted.Initially, the heavily weathered rock mass of the slope was intersected by faults and joint fissures, facilitating rainwater infiltration. Moreover, the landslide contained a substantial clay mineral with highly developed micro-cracks and micro-pores,exhibiting strong water-absorption properties. As moisture content increased, the rock mass underwent softening, resulting in reduced strength.Ultimately, continuous heavy rainfall infiltration amplified the slope's weight, diminishing the weak structural plane's strength, leading to fracture propagation, slip plane penetration, and extensive tensile-shear and uplift failure of the slope. The study highlights poor geological conditions as the decisive factor for this landslide, with continuous heavy rainfall as the triggering factor.Presently, adverse environmental factors persistently affect the landslide, and deformation and failure continue to escalate.Hence,it is imperative to urgently implement integrated measures encompassing slope reinforcement, monitoring, and early-warning to real-time monitor the landslide's deformation and deep mechanical evolution trends.
文摘Although a large number of studies have focused on various aspects of politeness, very little is known about how politeness intention is activated cognitively during verbal communication. The present study aims to explore the cognitive mechanism of politeness intention processing, and how it is related to pragmatic failure during cross-cultural communication.Using 30 Chinese EFL university students who were instructed to finish a probe word judgment task with 96 virtual scenarios, the results indicate that within both mono-and cross-cultural contexts, the response time in the experimental scenarios was significantly slower than that of the filler scenarios. This suggests that politeness intention was activated while understanding the surface meaning of the conversation;however, the EFL learners could not completely avoid the negative transfer of their native politeness conventions when they were comprehending the conversational intention of the target language.Furthermore,no significant differences in response time were found between the groups with high and low English pragmatic competence, illustrating that transferring the pragmatic rules and principles into cross-cultural communication skills was more cognitively demanding.Overall, this study adds to the literature on politeness research and provides some implications for foreign language pragmatic instructions.

文摘Rock slope with horizontal-layered fractured structure(HLFS)has high stability in its natural state. However,a strong earthquake can induce rock fissure expansion, ultimately leading to slope failure. In this study, the dynamic response, failure mode, and spectral characteristics of rock slope with HLFS under strong earthquake conditions were investigated based on the large-scale shaking table model test.On this basis, multiple sets of numerical calculation models were further established by UDEC discrete element program.Five influencing factors were considered in the parametric study of numerical simulations, including slope height, slope angle,bedding-plane spacing and secondary joint spacing as well as bedrock dip angle. The results showed that the failure process of rock slope with HLFS under earthquake action is mainly divided into four phases,i.e.,the tensile crack of the slope shoulder joints and shear dislocation at the top bedding plane, the extension of vertical joint cracks and increase of shear displacement, the formation of step-through sliding surfaces and the instability, and finally collapse of fractured rock mass. The acceleration response of slopes exhibits elevation amplification effect and surface effect.Numerical simulations indicate that the seismic stability of slopes with HLFS exhibits a negative correlation with slope height and angle, but a positive correlation with bedding-plane spacing, joint spacing, and bedrock dip angle. The results of this study can provide a reference for seismic stability evaluation of weathered rock slopes.

文摘A cascading failure of landslide dams caused by strong earthquakes or torrential rains in mountainous river valleys can pose great threats to people’s lives, properties, and infrastructures. In this study, based on the three-dimensional Reynoldsaveraged Navier-Stokes equations(RANS),the renormalization group(RNG)k-εturbulence model, suspended and bed load transport equations, and the instability discriminant formula of dam breach side slope, and the explicit finite volume method(FVM),a detailed numerical simulation model for calculating the hydro-morphodynamic characteristics of cascading dam breach process has been developed. The developed numerical model can simulate the breach hydrograph and the dam breach morphology evolution during the cascading failure process of landslide dams.A model test of the breaches of two cascading landslide dams has been used as the validation case. The comparison of the calculated and measured results indicates that the breach hydrograph and the breach morphology evolution process of the upstream and downstream dams are generally consistent with each other, and the relative errors of the key breaching parameters,i.e.,the peak breach flow and the time to peak of each dam,are less than±5%.Further,the comparison of the breach hydrographs of the upstream and downstream dams shows that there is an amplification effect of the breach flood on the cascading landslide dam failures.Three key parameters,i.e.,the distance between the upstream and the downstream dams, the river channel slope, and the downstream dam height, have been used to study the flood amplification effect. The parameter sensitivity analyses show that the peak breach flow at the downstream dam decreases with increasing distance between the upstream and the downstream dams, and the downstream dam height.Further, the peak breach flow at the downstream dam first increases and then decreases with steepening of the river channel slope. When the flood caused by the upstream dam failure flows to the downstream dam,it can produce a surge wave that overtops and erodes the dam crest, resulting in a lowering of the dam crest elevation. This has an impact on the failure occurrence time and the peak breach flow of the downstream dam.The influence of the surge wave on the downstream dam failure process is related to the volume of water that overtops the dam crest and the erosion characteristics of dam material. Moreover, the cascading failure case of the Xiaogangjian and Lower Xiaogangjian landslide dams has also been used as the representative case for validating the model. In comparisons of the calculated and measured breach hydrographs and final breach morphologies, the relative errors of the key dam breaching parameters are all within±10%,which verify the rationality of the model is applicable to real-world cases.Overall, the numerical model developed in this study can provide important technical support for the risk assessment and emergency treatment of failures of cascading landslide dams.

文摘The collapse pressure is a key parameter when RTPs are applied in harsh deep-water environments. To investigate the collapse of RTPs,numerical simulations and hydrostatic pressure tests are conducted. For the numerical simulations, the eigenvalue analysis and Riks analysis are combined,in which the Hashin failure criterion and fracture energy stiffness degradation model are used to simulate the progressive failure of composites, and the“infinite”boundary conditions are applied to eliminate the boundary effects. As for the hydrostatic pressure tests,RTP specimens were placed in a hydrostatic chamber after filled with water. It has been observed that the cross-section of the middle part collapses when it reaches the maximum pressure. The collapse pressure obtained from the numerical simulations agrees well with that in the experiment.Meanwhile, the applicability of NASA SP-8007 formula on the collapse pressure prediction was also discussed. It has a relatively greater difference because of the ignorance of the progressive failure of composites. For the parametric study,it is found that RTPs have much higher first-ply-failure pressure when the winding angles are between 50°and 70°.Besides,the effect of debonding and initial ovality, and the contribution of the liner and coating are also discussed.
文摘BACKGROUND Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),fibrosis index based on four factors(Fib4),aspartate aminotransferase-to-platelet ratio index(APRI)can be used for prognostic evaluation of hepatocellular carcinoma. However,no study has established an individualized prediction model for the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma based on these factors.AIM To screen the factors that affect the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma and establish a nomogram model that predicts postoperative liver failure after hepatic resection in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.METHODS In total,220 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma treated in our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected. They were divided into 154 participants in the modeling cohort, and 66 in the validation cohort.Comparative analysis of the changes in NLR,Fib4,and APRI levels in 154 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma before liver resection and at 3 mo,6 mo,and 12 mo postoperatively was conducted.Binary logistic regression to analyze the influencing factors on the occurrence of liver failure in hepatocellular carcinoma patients, roadmap prediction modeling, and validation, patient work characteristic curves(ROCs)to evaluate the predictive efficacy of the model, calibration curves to assess the consistency, and decision curve analysis(DCA)to evaluate the model’s validity were also conducted.RESULTS Binary logistic regression showed that Child-Pugh grading,Surgical site,NLR,Fib4,and APRI were all risk factors for liver failure after hepatic resection in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. The modeling cohort built a column-line graph model, and the area under the ROC curve was 0.986[95%confidence in terval(CI):0.963-1.000].The patients in the validation cohort utilized the column-line graph to predict the probability of survival in the validation cohort and plotted the ROC curve with an area under the curve of the model of 0.692(95%CI:0.548-0.837).The deviation of the actual outcome curves from the calibration curves of the column-line plots generated by the modeling and validation cohorts was small, and the DCA confirmed the validity.CONCLUSION NLR,Fib4,and APRI independently influence posthepatectomy liver failure in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. The column-line graph prediction model exhibited strong prognostic capability, with substantial concordance between predicted and actual events.

文摘To understand the strengths of rocks under complex stress states,a generalized nonlinear threedimensional(3D)Hoek‒Brown failure(NGHB)criterion was proposed in this study. This criterion shares the same parameters with the generalized HB(GHB)criterion and inherits the parameter advantages of GHB.Two new parameters,b,and n,were introduced into the NGHB criterion that primarily controls the deviatoric plane shape of the NGHB criterion under triaxial tension and compression, respectively. The NGHB criterion can consider the influence of intermediate principal stress(IPS),where the deviatoric plane shape satisfies the smoothness requirements, while the HB criterion not. This criterion can degenerate into the two modified 3D HB criteria, the Priest criterion under triaxial compression condition and the HB criterion under triaxial compression and tension condition. This criterion was verified using true triaxial test data for different parameters, six types of rocks, and two kinds of in situ rock masses. For comparison, three existing 3D HB criteria were selected for performance comparison research. The result showed that the NGHB criterion gave better prediction performance than other criteria. The prediction errors of the strength of six types of rocks and two kinds of in situ rock masses were in the range of 2.0724%-3.5091%and 1.0144%-3.2321%,respectively.The proposed criterion lays a preliminary theoretical foundation for prediction of engineering rock mass strength under complex in situ stress conditions.

文摘A large-scale fine-grained Mg-Gd-Y-Zn-Zr alloy plate with high strength and ductility was successfully prepared by multi-pass friction stir processing(MFSP)technology in this work. The structure of grains and long period stacking ordered(LPSO)phase were characterized, and the mechanical properties uniformity was investigated. Moreover,a quantitative relationship between the microstructure and tensile yield strength was established. The results showed that the grains in the processed zone(PZ)and interfacial zone(IZ)were refined from 50μm to 3μm and 4μm,respectively,and numerous original LPSO phases were broken. In IZ,some block-shaped 18R LPSO phases were transformed into needle-like 14H LPSO phases due to stacking faults and the short-range diffusion of solute atoms. The severe shear deformation in the form of kinetic energy caused profuse stacking fault to be generated and move rapidly, greatly increasing the transformation rate of LPSO phase. After MFSP,the ultimate tensile strength, yield strength and elongation to failure of the large-scale plate were 367 MPa,305 MPa and 18.0% respectively.Grain refinement and LPSO phase strengthening were the major strengthening mechanisms for the MFSP sample. In particularly, the strength of IZ was comparable to that of PZ because the strength contribution of the 14H LPSO phase offsets the lack of grain refinement strengthening in IZ.This result opposes the widely accepted notion that IZ is a weak region in MFSP-prepared large-scale fine-grained plate.

文摘Recently, the increasing interest in wearable technology for personal healthcare and smart virtual/augmented reality applications has led to the development of facile fabrication methods.Lasers have long been used to develop original solutions to such challenging technological problems due to their remote, sterile, rapid, and site-selective processing of materials. In this review, recent developments in relevant laser processes are summarized under two separate categories.First, transformative approaches, such as for laser-induced graphene, are introduced. In addition to design optimization and the alteration of a native substrate, the latest advances under a transformative approach now enable more complex material compositions and multilayer device configurations through the simultaneous transformation of heterogeneous precursors,or the sequential addition of functional layers coupled with other electronic elements. In addition, the more conventional laser techniques, such as ablation, sintering, and synthesis, can still be used to enhance the functionality of an entire system through the expansion of applicable materials and the adoption of new mechanisms.Later, various wearable device components developed through the corresponding laser processes are discussed, with an emphasis on chemical/physical sensors and energy devices. In addition, special attention is given to applications that use multiple laser sources or processes, which lay the foundation for the all-laser fabrication of wearable devices.

文摘BACKGROUND Acute liver failure(ALF)has a high mortality with widespread hepatocyte death involving ferroptosis and pyroptosis. The silent information regulator sirtuin 1(SIRT1)-mediated deacetylation affects multiple biological processes, including cellular senescence, apoptosis, sugar and lipid metabolism, oxidative stress, and inflammation.AIM To investigate the association between ferroptosis and pyroptosis and the upstream regulatory mechanisms.METHODS This study included 30 patients with ALF and 30 healthy individuals who underwent serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)testing.C57BL/6 mice were also intraperitoneally pretreated with SIRT1,p53,or glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4)inducers and inhibitors and injected with lipopolysaccharide(LPS)/D-galactosamine(D-GalN)to induce ALF.Gasdermin D(GSDMD)^(-/-)mice were used as an experimental group.Histological changes in liver tissue were monitored by hematoxylin and eosin staining.ALT,AST,glutathione, reactive oxygen species, and iron levels were measured using commercial kits.Ferroptosis-and pyroptosis-related protein and mRNA expression was detected by western blot and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction.SIRT1,p53,and GSDMD were assessed by immunofluorescence analysis.RESULTS Serum AST and ALT levels were elevated in patients with ALF.SIRT1,solute carrier family 7a member 11(SLC7A11),and GPX4 protein expression was decreased and acetylated p5,p53,GSDMD,and acyl-CoA synthetase long-chain family member 4(ACSL4)protein levels were elevated in human ALF liver tissue. In the p53 and ferroptosis inhibitor-treated and GSDMD^(-/-)groups,serum interleukin(IL)-1β,tumour necrosis factor alpha,IL-6,IL-2 and C-C motif ligand 2 levels were decreased and hepatic impairment was mitigated. In mice with GSDMD knockout,p53 was reduced,GPX4 was increased, and ferroptotic events(depletion of SLC7A11,elevation of ACSL4,and iron accumulation)were detected. In vitro, knockdown of p53 and overexpression of GPX4 reduced AST and ALT levels, the cytostatic rate, and GSDMD expression, restoring SLC7A11 depletion.Moreover,SIRT1 agonist and overexpression of SIRT1 alleviated acute liver injury and decreased iron deposition compared with results in the model group, accompanied by reduced p53,GSDMD,and ACSL4,and increased SLC7A11 and GPX4.Inactivation of SIRT1 exacerbated ferroptotic and pyroptotic cell death and aggravated liver injury in LPS/D-GalNinduced in vitro and in vivo models.CONCLUSION SIRT1 activation attenuates LPS/D-GalN-induced ferroptosis and pyroptosis by inhibiting the p53/GPX4/GSDMD signaling pathway in ALF.

文摘Due to a prolonged operation time and low mass transfer efficiency, the primary challenge in the aeration process of non-Newtonian fluids is the high energy consumption, which is closely related to the form and rate of impeller, ventilation, rheological properties and bubble morphology in the reactor. When d0was regulated within 2-5 mm,an optimal kLa could be achieved, and 21% of power consumption could be saved, compared to the case of bubbles with a diameter of 10 mm.
文摘BACKGROUND Left bundle branch pacing(LBBP)is a novel pacing modality of cardiac resynchronization therapy(CRT)that achieves more physiologic native ventricular activation than biventricular pacing(BiVP).AIM To explore the validity of electromechanical resynchronization, clinical and echocardiographic response of LBBP-CRT.METHODS Systematic review and Meta-analysis were conducted in accordance with the standard guidelines as mentioned in detail in the methodology section.RESULTS In our analysis, the success rate of LBBP-CRT was determined to be 91.1%.LBBP CRT significantly shortened QRS duration, with significant improvement in echocardiographic parameters, including left ventricular ejection fraction, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and left ventricular end-systolic diameter in comparison with BiVP-CRT.CONCLUSION A significant reduction in New York Heart Association class and B-type natriuretic peptide levels was also observed in the LBBP-CRT group vs BiVP-CRT group.Lastly, the LBBP-CRT cohort had a reduced pacing threshold at follow-up as compared to BiVP-CRT.
文摘BACKGROUND Coronary heart disease(CHD)and heart failure(HF)are the major causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide.Early and accurate diagnoses of CHD and HF are essential for optimal management and prognosis. However, conventional diagnostic methods such as electrocardiography, echocardiography, and cardiac biomarkers have certain limitations, such as low sensitivity, specificity, availability, and cost-effectiveness.Therefore,there is a need for simple, noninvasive, and reliable biomarkers to diagnose CHD and HF.AIM To investigate serum cystatin C(Cys-C),monocyte/high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio(MHR),and uric acid(UA)diagnostic values for CHD and HF.METHODS We enrolled 80 patients with suspected CHD or HF who were admitted to our hospital between July 2022 and July 2023.The patients were divided into CHD(n=20),HF(n=20),CHD+HF(n=20),and control groups(n=20).The serum levels of Cys-C,MHR,and UA were measured using immunonephelometry and an enzymatic method, respectively, and the diagnostic values for CHD and HF were evaluated using receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis.RESULTS Serum levels of Cys-C,MHR,and UA were significantly higher in the CHD,HF,and CHD+HF groups than those in the control group. The serum levels of Cys-C,MHR,and UA were significantly higher in the CHD+HF group than those in the CHD or HF group. The ROC curve analysis showed that serum Cys-C,MHR,and UA had good diagnostic performance for CHD and HF,with areas under the curve ranging from 0.78 to 0.93.The optimal cutoff values of serum Cys-C,MHR,and UA for diagnosing CHD,HF,and CHD+HF were 1.2 mg/L,0.9×10^(9),and 389μmol/L;1.4 mg/L,1.0×10^(9),and 449μmol/L;and 1.6 mg/L,1.1×10^(9),and 508μmol/L,respectively.CONCLUSION Serum Cys-C,MHR,and UA are useful biomarkers for diagnosing CHD and HF,and CHD+HF.These can provide information for decision-making and risk stratification in patients with CHD and HF.
文摘Objective Variations are present in common clinical practices regarding best practice in managing hyperkalaemia(HK),there is therefore a need to establish a multi-specialty approach to optimal renin angiotension-aldosterone system inhibitors(RAASi)usage and HK management in patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD)&heart failure(HF).This study aimed to establish a multi-speciality approach to the optimal use of RAASi and the management of HK in patients with CKD and HF.Methods A steering expert group of cardiology and nephrology experts across China were convened to discuss challenges to HK management through a nominal group technique. The group then created a list of 41 statements for a consensus questionnaire, which was distributed for a further survey in extended panel group of cardiologists and nephrologists across China.Consensus was assessed using a modified Delphi technique, with agreement defined as"strong"(≥75%and<90%)and"very strong"(≥90%).The steering group, data collection, and analysis were aided by an independent facilitator. Results A total of 150 responses from 21 provinces across China were recruited in the survey.Respondents were comprised of an even split(n=75,50%)between cardiologists and nephrologists. All 41 statements achieved the 75%consensus agreement threshold,of which 27 statements attained very strong consensus(≥90%agreement)and 14 attained strong consensus(agreement between 75%and 90%).Conclusion Based on the agreement levels from respondents, the steering group agreed a set of recommendations intended to improve patient outcomes in the use of RAASi therapy and HK management in China.
文摘Background: Emerging evidence has recognized that anemia and iron deficiency are recurrent comorbidities in chronic heart failure (HF) and several trials have established that iron administration improves myocardial asset and clinical scenario in HF. Conclusions: We advocate that data from ongoing studies will suggest novel iron targeted therapies for diagnosis, prognosis and therapy transferable in selected heart failed patients.

文摘In practical engineering, due to the noncontinuity characteristics of joints in rock slopes,in addition to plane failure, stepped sliding failure may occur for intermittently jointed rock slopes.Especially for intermittently bedding jointed rock slopes, the correlation and difference in strength parameters between joints and rock bridges, along with the various failure modes and intermittency of rock bridges, contribute to the complexity of stepped failure modes and the unpredictability of failure regions.Based on the upper-bound limit analysis method and multi-sliders step-path failure mode, considering the shear and tensile failure of rock bridges and the weakened relationship between the strength parameters of rock bridges and jointed surfaces,by introducing the modified M-C failure criterion and the formula for calculating the energy consumption of tensile failure of rock bridges, two failure mechanisms are constructed to obtain the safety factor(F_(s))of intermittently jointed rock slopes. The sequential quadratic programming method is used to obtain the optimal upper-bound solution for F_(s).The influence of multiple key parameters(slope height H,horizontal distance L,Slope angleβ,shear strength parameters of the rock bridgeφr and cr,Dimensionless parameter u,weakening coefficients of the internal friction angle and cohesion between the rock bridges and joint surfaces Kφand Kc)on the stability analysis of intermittently jointed rock slopes under the shear failure mode of rock bridges as well as under the tensile failure mode is also explored. The reliability of the failure mechanisms is verified by comparative analysis with theoretical results, numerical results, and landslide cases, and the variation rules of F_(s)with each key parameter are obtained. The results show that F_(s) varies linearly withφr and cr of the rock bridge and with K_(φ)and K_(c),whereas F_(s)changes nonlinearly with H and L.In particular, with the increase in Kφand Kc,Fs increases by approximately 52.78%and 171.02%on average, respectively. For rock bridge tensile failure,F_(s) shows a nonlinearly positive correlation withφr,cr,Kφand Kc.In particular, with the increase in Kφand Kc,Fs increases by approximately 13%and 61.69%on average, respectively.Fs decreases rapidly with increasing slope gradientβand decreasing dimensionless parameterμ.When Kφand Kc are both less than 1.0,the stepped sliding surface occurs more easily than the plane failure surface, especially in the case of tensile failure of the rock bridge. In addition, rock slopes with higher strength parameters, taller heights, and greater weakening coefficients are prone to rock bridge tension failure with lower Fs,and more attention should be given to the occurrence of such accidents in actual engineering.
