Dynamical running coding was previously proposed as a method for construction of steganographic schemes in digital steganography.In this article,a new approach of fast coding is proposed to improve steganographic effi...Dynamical running coding was previously proposed as a method for construction of steganographic schemes in digital steganography.In this article,a new approach of fast coding is proposed to improve steganographic efficiency.Original embedding method is discussed in two cases of constructing different generating matrix;however,the proposed method generalizes the problem to only one case by changing the construction method from the original method.Therefore,the complexity of the proposed method is less than the original method.Meanwhile,both theoretical analysis and experiment results show better performance in terms of distortions and alterations of the cover objects when embedding the same amount of information data bits,which proves a better resistance against steganalysis.展开更多

The proposed algorithm simultaneously reduces the number of fast Fourier transformation(...This paper provides a direct and fast acquisition algorithm of civilian long length(CL) codes in the L2 civil(L2C) signal. The proposed algorithm simultaneously reduces the number of fast Fourier transformation(FFT) correlation through hyper code technique and the amount of points in every FFT correlation by using an averaging correlation method. To validate the proposed acquisition performance, the paper applies this algorithm to the real L2C signal collected by the global positioning system(GPS) L2C intermediate frequency(IF) signal sampler—SIS100L2C. The acquisition results show that the proposed modified algorithm can acquire the code phase accurately with less calculation and its acquisition performance is better than the single hyper code method.展开更多
The purpose of the present study is to develop a methodology to evaluate fuel discharge through the CRGT (control-rod guide tube) during CDAs (core-disruptive accidents) of SFRs (sodium-cooled fast reactors), si...The purpose of the present study is to develop a methodology to evaluate fuel discharge through the CRGT (control-rod guide tube) during CDAs (core-disruptive accidents) of SFRs (sodium-cooled fast reactors), since fuel discharge will decrease the core reactivity and CRGTs have a potential to provide an effective discharge path. Fuel discharge contains multi-component fluid dynamics with phase changes, and, in the present study, the SFR safety analysis code SIMMER (Sn, implicit, multifield, multicomponent, Eulerian recriticality) was utilized as a technical basis. First, dominant phenomena affecting fuel discharge through the CRGT are identified based on parametric calculations by the SIMMER code. Next, validations on the code models closely relating to these phenomena were carried out based on experimental data. It was shown that the SIMMER code with some model modifications could reproduce the experimental results appropriately. Through the present study, the evaluation methodology for the molten-fuel discharge through the CRGT was successfully developed.展开更多

Therefore, preeminent comp...The evolution of social network and multimedia technologies encourage more and more people to generate and upload visual information, which leads to the generation of large-scale video data. Therefore, preeminent compression technologies are highly desired to facilitate the storage and transmission of these tremendous video data for a wide variety of applications. In this paper, a systematic review of the recent advances for large-scale video compression (LSVC) is presented. Specifically, fast video coding algorithms and effective models to improve video compression efficiency are introduced in detail, since coding complexity and compression efficiency are two important factors to evaluate video coding approaches. Finally, the challenges and fu- ture research trends for LSVC are discussed.展开更多
