The robustness analysis is performed employing a 2~3 factorial experimental design for a fractional order proportional integral and derivative controller(FOPID), integer order proportional integral and derivative controller(IOPID)and the Skogestad internal model control controller(SIMC). The factors assumed in experiment are the presence of random noise, external disturbances in the system input and variable load. A mathematical model for characterizing the cantilever-sample interaction subsystem which is nonlinear and contains large uncertainty is first developed. Then, a PID-like fuzzy controller, combing a PD-like fuzzy controller and a PI controller, is designed to regulate the controller efforts and schedule the applied voltage of the Z-axis of the piezoelectric tube scanner to maintain a constant tip-sample interaction force during sample-scanning. Using the PID-like fuzzy controller allows the cantilever tip to track sample surface rapidly and accurately even though the topography of the surface is arbitrary and not given in advance. This rapid tracking response facilitates us to observe samples with high aspect ratio micro structures accurately and quickly. Besides, the overshoot which will result in tip crash in commercial AFMs with a traditional PID controller could be avoided. Additionally, the controller efforts can be intelligently scheduled by using the fuzzy logic. Thus, continuous manual gain-tuning by trial and error such as those in commercial AFMs is alleviated. In final, computer simulations and experimental verifications are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and confirm the validity of the proposed controller.展开更多

Firstly, to obtain the dimensionless governing equation of the system, the original bistable system is approximated as a system without viscoelastic term by using the stochastic averaging method of energy envelope, and then is further decoupled to derive an equivalent system. The credibility of the proposed method is validated by contrasting the consistency between the numerical and the analytical results of the equivalent system under different noise conditions. The influence of system parameters on average output power is analyzed, and the control effect of the time-delayed feedback control on system performance is compared. The output performance of the system is improved with the occurrence of stochastic resonance(SR). Therefore, the signal-to-noise ratio expression for measuring SR is derived, and the dependence of its SR behavior on different parameters is explored.展开更多

In the design of a fractional order controller the interest is mainly focused on the s-domain, but there exists a difficult problem in the s-domain that needs to be solved, i.e. how to calculate fractional derivatives and integrals efficiently and quickly. Our scheme adopts the time domain that is well suited for Z-transform analysis and digital implementation. The main idea of the scheme is based on the definition of Grünwald-Letnicov fractional calculus. In this case some limited terms of the definition are taken so that it is much easier and faster to calculate fractional derivatives and integrals in the time domain or z-domain without loss much of the precision. Its effectiveness is illustrated by discretization of half-order fractional differential and integral operators compared with that of the analytical scheme. An example of designing fractional order digital controllers is included for illustration, in which different fractional order PID controllers are designed for the control of a nonlinear dynamic system containing one of the four different kinds of nonlinear blocks: saturation, deadzone, hysteresis, and relay.展开更多

This kind of controller is called Fuzzy-ant system PID controller. It consists of an off-line part and an on-line part. In the off-line part, for a given control system with a PID controller,by taking the overshoot, setting time and steady-state error of the system unit step response as the performance indexes and by using the ant system algorithm, a group of optimal PID parameters K*p , Ti* and T*d can be obtained, which are used as the initial values for the on-line tuning of PID parameters. The α-stability of closed-loop systems is also considered. It is shown that the output feedback controller design procedure of uncertain piecewise linear systems with α-stability constraint can be cast as solving a set of bilinear matrix inequalities (BMIs). The BMIs problem in this paper can be solved iteratively as a set of two convex optimization problems involving linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) which can be solved numerically efficiently. By such feedback controllers, the exponential stability of uncertain nonlinear dynamical systems can be guaranteed. The approach can give a clear insight to system analysis. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the utilization of the approach developed. Simulation results show that the method presented is practical and effective.

文摘This paper proposes output feedback controller design methods for uncertain piecewise linear systems based on piecewise quadratic Lyapunov function. A numerical example shows the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

文摘This paper proposes a new stochastic eco-epidemiological model with nonlinear incidence rate and feedback controls.First,we prove that the stochastic system has a unique global positive solution.Second,by constructing a series of appropriate stochastic Lyapunov functions, the asymptotic behaviors around the equilibria of deterministic model are obtained, and we demonstrate that the stochastic system exists a stationary Markov process.Third, the conditions for persistence in the mean and extinction of the stochastic system are established. Finally,we carry out some numerical simulations with respect to different stochastic parameters to verify our analytical results. The obtained results indicate that the stochastic perturbations and feedback controls have crucial effects on the survivability of system.

文摘A novel non-smooth controller of the second order double integrator system with a bounded disturbance is proposed, which stability is proved and which disturbance rejection capability is analyzed by MATLAB simulation experiments. The novel non-smooth output feedback controller and tracking differentiator are applied to control the azimuth servo systemof the small floating satellite antenna. The MATLAB simulation and hardware in the loop simulation experiments are conducted. The experiment results validate that the non-smooth output feedback controller with stronger surge and sudden disturbance rejection capability can realize the stable azimuth servo control of the small floating antenna to ensure the communication between the target satellite and the antenna with high quality.
文摘Two novel improved variants of reptile search algorithm(RSA),RSA with opposition-based learning(ORSA)and hybrid ORSA with pattern search(ORSAPS),are proposed to determine the proportional, integral, and derivative(PID)controller parameters of an automatic voltage regulator(AVR)system using a novel objective function with augmented flexibility. In the proposed algorithms, the opposition-based learning technique improves the global search abilities of the original RSA algorithm, while the hybridization with the pattern search(PS)algorithm improves the local search abilities. Both algorithms are compared with the original RSA algorithm and have shown to be highly effective algorithms for tuning the PID controller parameters of an AVR system by getting superior results.Several analyses such as transient, stability, robustness, disturbance rejection, and trajectory tracking are conducted to test the performance of the proposed algorithms, which have validated the good promise of the proposed methods for controller designs. The performances of the proposed design approaches are also compared with the previously reported PID controller parameter tuning approaches to assess their success. It is shown that both proposed approaches obtain excellent and robust results among all compared ones. That is,with the adjustment of the weight factorα,which is introduced by the proposed objective function, for a system with high bandwitdh(α=1),the proposed ORSAPS-PID system has 2.08%more bandwidth than the proposed ORSA-PID system and 5.1%faster than the fastest algorithm from the literature. On the other hand, for a system where high phase and gain margins are desired(α=10),the proposed ORSA-PID system has 0.53%more phase margin and 2.18%more gain margin than the proposed ORSAPS-PID system and has 0.71%more phase margin and 2.25%more gain margin than the best performing algorithm from the literature.
