Crystallization Kinetics of Potassium Sulphate in Aqueous System Mg2+,K+//Cl,SO42--H2O

As an excellent chemical fertilizer,Potassium Sulphate(K2SO4)could provide both potassium and sulfur elements for crops.However,it is well known that potassium resource is very poor in China.To understand the Crystallization Kinetics(CK)of K2SO4could be conducive to utilize the limited potassium resource,promote the yield and purity of K2SO4.In this study saturated solution of potassium sulphate was prepared according to the phase diagram of Mg2+、

ZrOCl_2·8H_2O catalyzed one-pot synthesis of 2,4,5-triaryl-1H-imidazoles and substituted 1,4-di(4,5-diphenylimidazolyl)benzene

A simple one-pot synthetic method for the preparation of 2,4,5-triaryl-lH-imidazoles from benzoin or benzil, ammonium acetate, aromatic aldehydes, and ZrOCl2-8H2O catalyst is described. The ZrOCl2-8H2O catalyst was found to be equally effective for aromatic and heteroaromatic aldehydes and also for the preparation of substituted 1,4-di（4,5-diphenylimidazol-yl） benzene.

Morphological characterization of Al_2O_3 membrane fabricated by sol-gel dip-coating method

Alumina membranes without pinholes and cracks were prepared by the sol-gel process using anunordum aluminium sulphate as the starting material. The effects of different preparing conditions on morphology characteristics of the membrane were investigated by scanning electron microscopy and 3D rotational microscopy. The preparing conditions include the amounts of drying control chemical additives （DCCA）, sintering procedure and sol-gel concentration. The results showed that PVA is a good crack-preventing reagent and the morphology of supported membranes was affected by ninny factors, including Al2O3 concentration, PVA/Al2O3 ratio, heating rate, membrane thickness and intrinsic defects of the substrate surface.

Thermochemical properties of Ternary Complex Yb[(C_5H_8NS_2)_3(C_(12)H_8N_2)]

A novel ternary solid complex, Yb （C5H8NS2）3 （C12H8N2）, was obtained from treating hydrous ytterbium chloride, ammonium pyrrolidin- edithiocarbamate （ APDC ） and 1, 10-phenanthroline （o-phen· H2O） in absolute ethanol, and characterized by elemental analysis. The enthalpies of solution of hydrous ytterbium chloride, APDC, o-phen·H2O, the mixture of APDC with o-phen· H2O in absolute ethanol at 298. 15 K, and the enthalpy changes of liquid- phase reaction of formation for Yb （ C5H8NS2 ）3 （ C12H8N2） at different temperatures were measured by using a RD496-Ⅲ microcalorimeter. Fundamental paconduction microcalorimeter, determining the specific heat a calculation model for capacity of solid subrameters, the activation enthalpy （ΔH≠^θ）, the activation entropy （ΔS≠^θ）, the activation free energy （ΔG≠^θ）, the apparent reaction rate constant （k）, the apparent activation energy （ E ）, the pre-exponential constant （A） and the reaction order （n）, were obtained by the combination of the thermochemical data of the reaction and kinetic equations with the data of thermokinetic experiments. The enthalpy change of complex formation from the reaction of the regents in solid phase, ΔrH≠^θ（s）, was calculated on the basis of an appropriate thermochemical cycle and other auxiliary thermodynamic data. Based on a RD496-Ⅲ heat stance was developed, and the title complex, c m, were accordingly determined.

Crystal Structures of Co(Ⅱ) and Cu(Ⅱ) Complexes and Ammonium Salt Involving Ethylenediamine

The Co（II） complex I and ammonium salt II were synthesized from the direct reaction of 1,2-ethylenediamine and cobaltous acetate tetrahydrate and manganese acetate tetrahydrate in anhydrous ethanol. Treatment of N,N＇-bis（salicylidene）ethylenediamine with Cu（OAc）2·H2O results in the formation of Cu（II） complex III. C14H37CoNaO8 （I）： triclinic, space group P1, a = 8.6296（12）, b = 12.0291（17）, c = 12.1108（17） A, α = 75.335（2）, β = 69.991（2）, γ = 72.248（2）°, V= 1109.4（3） A3, Z = 2, ρcaloa = 1.342 g/cm3, the final R= 0.0342 for 4817 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ（I） and Rw = 0.1263 for all data. C6H16N204 （II）： space group P1, a = 5.5513（10）, b = 5.5589（11）, c = 7.4437（14） A, α = 94.332（4）, β = 104.497（4）, γ = 103.487（4）°,V= 214.06（7） A3, Z = 1, ρcalcd = 1.398 g/cm3, the final R = 0.0431 for 829 observed reflections with I〉 2σ（I） and Rw = 0.1263 for all data. C14H37CuN40 （III）, space group P21/n, a = 9.050（9）, b = 18.434（17）, c = 11.659（11） A, β = 107.134（19）°, V= 1859（3） A3, Z = 4, ρcalcd =1.443 g/cm3, the final R = 0.0616 for 3308 observed reflections （O 〉 2σ（I）） and Rw = 0.1229 for all data. Their structures were all determined by X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis and IR.

Potassium ferro-cyanide trihydrate complex catalyzed one-pot synthesis of 2-phenylimidazo[4,5-f][1,10] phenanthroline

Various 2-phenylimidazo [4,5-f] [1,10] phenanthrolines were synthesized from potassium ferro-cyanide trihydrate （KFCT） complex catalyzed three component reaction of 1,10-phenanthroline-5,6-dione, aromatic aldehydes and ammonium acetate at room temperature in excellent isolated yield. This is a simple and straight forward, high yielding, not involving any hazardous or expensive catalyst method.
