Its rigidity directly influences an organization's terminal localization. Its actual structure geometry size cannot satisfy the theoretical analysis completely in a theoretical supposition condition. In this paper, we analyzed the rotation rigidity of a corner-filleted straight beam flexible hinge in different parameters using finite element software ANSYS. The errors are discovered and compared with theoretical results. Through the graph of the flexible hinge parameters and its performance, an analysis of changes of parameters on the performance of a corner-filleted flexible hinge was carried out. The key manufacture parameters that affect the performance of a corner-filleted flexure hinge the most and rules of design are given, which can provide directions of design precision for the flexure hinge.展开更多

The actuator is based on the piezoelectric technology. It adopts the principle of bionics and works with a new method of stator initiative anchoring/loosen and a distortion structure of double-side thin flexible hinge. It solves the problem of anchoring/loosen, frequency, journey, resolution and velocity. The experiment shows that the new linear piezoelectric actuator works with high frequency (100 Hz), high speed (502 μm/s), large travel (〉10 mm), high resolution (0.05 μm) and high load (100 N). This kind of new piezoelectric actuator will be applied for large travel and high resolution driving device, optics engineering precision positioning and some micromanipulation field.展开更多
By the mathematic models of flexible hinge,the accurate relationship between the phase-shifting and pressure acting on the hinge is deduced and verified by experimental results.Through the optimization of the geometri...By the mathematic models of flexible hinge,the accurate relationship between the phase-shifting and pressure acting on the hinge is deduced and verified by experimental results.Through the optimization of the geometric parameter of flexible hinge,a phase-shifting generator is developed to determine the length of an object precisely by interferometry.The experiments show that the triple phase-shifting produced using this generator is up to 1 m.With this generator,an example for the application in length measurement is introduced.The result shows the length uncertainty is 0.5 nm when the temperature uncertainty is limited in 2 mK.This paper provides a novel technique to measure the dimension of an object,especially to the diameter of a silicon sphere for Avogadro constant project.展开更多
