Urban water system has a certain orientation for the formation and morphological evolution and development of urban space,and old residential areas are often built along the vein of the water system,which is one of the main media to continue the historical context of the city and create the urban regional landscape in the context of urban renewal.The old residential area of the Tiaodeng River basin in the old city of Yongchuan is taken as the research object.Under the background of urban double cultivation,community transformation is combined with urban waterfront space transformation.Around the influencing factors such as water pollution,monotonous function,and lack of style,the existing problems of the site are analyzed and summarized.Additionally,six major strategies are put forward to achieve the quality and function improvement of the old residential area in the Tiaodeng River basin:creating a water town type of landscape style,river course governance,traffic optimization,shaping cultural interface,updating business formats,and improving supporting facilities. 展开更多

Background:The pig is an economically important livestock species and is a widely applied large animal model in medical research.Enhancers are critical regulatory elements that have fundamental functions in evolution,development and disease.Genome-wide quantification of functional enhancers in the pig is needed.Results:We performed self-transcribing active regulatory region sequencing(STARR-seq)in the porcine kidney epithelial PK15 and testicular ST cell lines,and reliably identified 2576 functional enhancers.Most of these enhancers were located in repetitive sequences and were enriched within silent and lowly expressed genes.Enhancers poorly overlapped with chromatin accessibility regions and were highly enriched in chromatin with the repressive histone modification H3K9me3,which is different from predicted pig enhancers detected using ChIP-seq for H3K27ac or/and H3K4me1 modified histones.This suggests that most pig enhancers identified with STARR-seq are endogenously repressed at the chromatin level and may function during cell type-specific development or at specific developmental stages.Additionally,the PPP3CA gene is associated with the loin muscle area trait and the QKI gene is associated with alkaline phosphatase activity that may be regulated by distal functional enhancers.Conclusions:In summary,we generated the first functional enhancer map in PK15 and ST cells for the pig genome and highlight its potential roles in pig breeding. 展开更多

Toll-like receptor (TLR)-mediated inflammatory response could negatively affect bone metabolism. In this study, we determined how osteogenesis is regulated during inflammatory responses that are downstream of TLR signaling. Human primary osteoblasts were cultured in collagen gels. Pam3CSK4 (P3C) and Escherichia coli lipopolysaccharide (EcLPS) were used as TLR2 and TLR4 ligand respectively. Porphyromonas gingivalis LPS having TLR2 activity with either TLR4 agonism (Pg1690) or TLR4 antagonism (Pg1449) and mutant E. coli LPS (LPxE/LPxF/WSK) were used. IL-lp, SH2-containing inositol phosphatase-1 (SHIP1) that has regulatory roles in osteogenesis, alkaline phosphatase and mineralization were analyzed. 3α-Aminocholestane (3AC) was used to inhibit SHIP1. Our results suggest that osteoblasts stimulated by P3C, poorly induced IL-1β but strongly upregulated SHIP1 and enhanced osteogenic mediators. On the contrary, EcLPS significantly induced IL-1β and osteogenic mediators were not induced. While Pg1690 downmodulated osteogenic mediators, Pg1449 enhanced osteogenic responses, suggesting that TLR4 signaling annuls osteogenesis even with TLR2 activity. Interestingly, mutant E. coli LPS that induces weak inflammation upregulated osteogenesis, but SHIP1 was not induced. Moreover, inhibiting SHIP1 significantly upregulated TLR2-mediated inflammatory response and downmodulated osteogenesis. In conclusion, these results suggest that induction of weak inflammatory response through TLR2 (with SHIP1 activity) and mutant TLR4 ligands could enhance osteogenesis. 展开更多

In this paper,we present a novel adaptive performance control approach for strict-feedback nonparametric systems with unknown time-varying control coefficients,which mainly includes the following steps.Firstly,by introducing several key transformation functions and selecting the initial value of the time-varying scaling function,the symmetric prescribed performance with global and semi-global properties can be handled uniformly,without the need for control re-design.Secondly,to handle the problem of unknown time-varying control coefficient with an unknown sign,we propose an enhanced Nussbaum function(ENF)bearing some unique properties and characteristics,with which the complex stability analysis based on specific Nussbaum functions as commonly used is no longer required.Thirdly,by utilizing the core-function information technique,the nonparametric uncertainties in the system are gracefully handled so that no approximator is required.Furthermore,simulation results verify the effectiveness and benefits of the approach. 展开更多

DM Code Key Point Detection Algorithm Based on CenterNet

Data Matrix(DM)codes have been widely used in industrial production.The reading of DM code usually includes positioning and decoding.Accurate positioning is a prerequisite for successful decoding.Traditional image processing methods have poor adaptability to pollution and complex backgrounds.Although deep learning-based methods can automatically extract features,the bounding boxes cannot entirely fit the contour of the code.Further image processing methods are required for precise positioning,which will reduce efficiency.Because of the above problems,a CenterNet-based DM code key point detection network is proposed,which can directly obtain the four key points of the DM code.Compared with the existing methods,the degree of fitness is higher,which is conducive to direct decoding.To further improve the positioning accuracy,an enhanced loss function is designed,including DM code key point heatmap loss,standard DM code projection loss,and polygon Intersection-over-Union(IoU)loss,which is beneficial for the network to learn the spatial geometric characteristics of DM code.The experiment is carried out on the self-made DM code key point detection dataset,including pollution,complex background,small objects,etc.,which uses the Average Precision(AP)of the common object detection metric as the evaluation metric.AP reaches 95.80%,and Frames Per Second(FPS)gets 88.12 on the test set of the proposed dataset,which can achieve real-time performance in practical applications. 展开更多

Regenerative rehabilitation is a novel and rapidly developing multidisciplinaryfield that converges regenerative medicine and rehabilitation science,aiming to maximize the functions of disabled patients and their independence.While regenerative medicine provides state-of-the-art technologies that shed light on difficult-to-treated diseases,regenerative rehabilitation offers rehabilitation interventions to improve the positive effects of regenerative medicine.However,regenerative scientists and rehabilitation professionals focus on their aspects without enough exposure to advances in each other’sfield.This disconnect has impeded the development of thisfield.Therefore,this reviewfirst introduces cutting-edge tech-nologies such as stem cell technology,tissue engineering,biomaterial science,gene editing,and computer sciences that promote the progress pace of regenerative medicine,followed by a summary of preclinical studies and examples of clinical investigations that integrate rehabilitative methodologies into regenerative medicine.Then,challenges in thisfield are discussed,and possible solutions are provided for future directions.We aim to provide a platform for regenerative and rehabilitative professionals and clinicians in other areas to better understand the progress of regenerative rehabilitation,thus contributing to the clinical translation and management of innovative and reliable therapies. 展开更多

Experiment design method is a key to construct a highly reliable surrogate model for numerical optimization in large-scale project. Within the method, the experimental design criterion directly affects the accuracy of the surrogate model and the optimization efficient. According to the shortcomings of the traditional experimental design, an improved adaptive sampling method is proposed in this paper. The surrogate model is firstly constructed by basic sparse samples. Then the supplementary sampling position is detected according to the specified criteria, which introduces the energy function and curvature sampling criteria based on radial basis function (RBF) network. Sampling detection criteria considers both the uniformity of sample distribution and the description of hypersurface curvature so as to significantly improve the prediction accuracy of the surrogate model with much less samples. For the surrogate model constructed with sparse samples, the sample uniformity is an important factor to the interpolation accuracy in the initial stage of adaptive sam- pling and surrogate model training. Along with the improvement of uniformity, the curvature description of objective function surface gradually becomes more important. In consideration of these issues, crowdness enhance function and root mean square error (RMSE) feedback function are introduced in C criterion expression. Thus, a new sampling method called RMSE and crowd- ness enhance (RCE) adaptive sampling is established. The validity of RCE adaptive sampling method is studied through typical test function firstly and then the airfoil/wing aerodynamic opti- mization design problem, which has high-dimensional design space. The results show that RCE adaptive sampling method not only reduces the requirement for the number of samples, but also effectively improves the prediction accuracy of the surrogate model, which has a broad prospects for applications. 展开更多

This proposed method employs wavelet transform and guided filter instead of the soft matting procedure to estimate and refine the depth map of haze images. Moreover, a contrast enhancement method based on just noticeable difference(JND) and quadratic function is adopted to enhance the contrast for the dehazed image, since the scene radiance is usually not as bright as the atmospheric light,and the dehazed image looks dim. The experimental results show that the proposed approach can effectively enhance the haze image and is well suitable for implementing on the surveillance and obstacle detection systems. 展开更多
