A digital filter interacts with a reference model signal into real process in order to get the best corresponding answer, having the minimum error at the filter output using the mean square criterion. Adding into this filter structure a fuzzy mechanism, to obtain an intelligent filtering because adaptively select and emit a decision answer according with the external reference signal changes, in order to actualize the best correct new conditions updating a process dynamically. The interpretation of the input signal level describes the operation of the reference model, to update the filter weights giving the answers approximation in accordance with the reference signal in natural form. Finally the paper shows the simulations results of the fuzzy filter into the Kalman structure using the Matlab? tool.展开更多

The first uses the significant impulse model (SIM), which has as a goal to operate as an endpoint detector and as a dawn sampling, through the detection and selection of the significant valleys and crests;the second algorithm, is a redundant wave-form recycler (RWR) that uses an architecture based on fuzzy logic with an accumulative memory. The fuzzy algorithm obtains the similitude grade between the redundant wave forms, this with the objective of save into an knowledge base the patterns, based on the no supervised learning and when there are into memory, automatically there will be used to identified their arrive respect to the input signal, substituting the input block by the correspondent pattern into memory. This decoding process is using the SIM interpolation with a memory in accordance to the RWR.展开更多

The condition...Based on the Berlekamp-Massy (BM) algorithm for Reed-Solomon(RS) decoding, an improved version is proposed, which focuses on how to find the error locator polynomial using least iterative operations. The conditions to end the iterative operations is derived. As a special case, criterion of only one error symbol in one received codeword is derived as well. Steps are listed concerning the implementation of the improved iterative decoding algorithm, which is carried out as software on the platform of TI's C6416 DSP. Decoding performance and decoding-delay of both improved and original algorithms under different (n,k) conditions are simulated. The results of simulations demonstrate that the improved algorithm has less computational complexity when the number of errors in a received codeword is relatively small. Therefore, in channels with low noise power spectrum density, the improved algorithm results in less decoding-delay than BM algorithm.展开更多

We present an all-digital demodulation system of interferometric fiber optic sensor based on an improved arctangent-differential-self-multiplying(arctan-DSM)algorithm.The total harmonic distortion(THD)and the light in...We present an all-digital demodulation system of interferometric fiber optic sensor based on an improved arctangent-differential-self-multiplying(arctan-DSM)algorithm.The total harmonic distortion(THD)and the light intensity disturbance(LID)are also suppressed,the same as those in the traditional arctan-DSM algorithm.Moreover,the lowest sampling frequency is also reduced by introducing anti-aliasing filter,so the occupation of the system memory is reduced.The simulations show that the improved algorithm can correctly demodulate cosine signal and chirp signal with lower sampling frequency.展开更多
