It is very useful in overcoming non-linear dynamic behavior, uncertain and time-varying parameters, un-modeled dynamics, and couples between the automatic turbulence control (ATC) and the automatic acid temperature control (AATC) with varying parameters during the operation process. The quasi-cascade control system of inner and outer loop self-adaptive fuzzy PID controller was built, which could effectively control the pickling speed of plates and strips. The simulated results and real application indicate that the plates and strips acid pickling speed control system has good performances of adaptively tracking the parameter variations and anti-disturbances, which ensures the match of acid pickling temperature and turbulence of flowing with acid pickling speed, improving the surface quality of plates and strips acid pickling, and energy efficiency.展开更多

The PID is currently adapted to control the welding wire feed mechanism, although the fuzzy PID has advantage of fast response and adaptation, the precision of fuzzy PID is lower. Accordingly, the fuzzy self-adaptive PID controller was proposed through changing fuzzy input variables and output variables based on variable universe, simple furwtion is adopted as scaling factor, the fuzzy PID controller parameters are adjusted to improve the precision and adjustment range. Therefore, they can be used not only in rehabilitation engineering, but also as actuators in robots, including industrial and therapy robots. Because PAMs have highly nonlinear and time‐varying behavior associated with gas compression and the nonlinear elasticity of bladder containers, achieving excellent tracking performance using classical controllers is difficult. An adaptive self‐tuning fuzzy controller (ASTFC) including adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control (AFSMC) and functional approximation (FA) was developed in this study for overcoming the aforementioned problems. The FA technique was used to release the model‐based requirements and the update laws for the coefficients of the Fourier series function parameters were derived using a Lyapunov function to guarantee control system stability. The controller is constructed by using a table lookup scheme and self tuning techniques, which includes the identification block, the fuzzification, the updating rule base, the defuzzification, and the crisp controller (sub controller), etc. The adaptive fuzzy controller is designed in detail by means of a triangular membership function and the center of gravity method. The control scheme addressed here is implemented to control the motion of the end effector of a two link constrained flexible manipulator. In the present scenario,computational modeling has gained much importance for the prediction of the properties of concrete.This paper depicts that how computational intelligence can be applied for the prediction of co...In the present scenario,computational modeling has gained much importance for the prediction of the properties of concrete.This paper depicts that how computational intelligence can be applied for the prediction of compressive strength of Self Compacting Concrete(SCC).Three models,namely,Extreme Learning Machine(ELM),Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System(ANFIS)and Multi Adaptive Regression Spline(MARS)have been employed in the present study for the prediction of compressive strength of self compacting concrete.The contents of cement(c),sand(s),coarse aggregate(a),fly ash(f),water/powder(w/p)ratio and superplasticizer(sp)dosage have been taken as inputs and 28 days compressive strength(fck)as output for ELM,ANFIS and MARS models.A relatively large set of data including 80 normalized data available in the literature has been taken for the study.A comparison is made between the results obtained from all the above-mentioned models and the model which provides best fit is established.The experimental results demonstrate that proposed models are robust for determination of compressive strength of self-compacting concrete.展开更多
Video Super-Resolution(SR) reconstruction produces video sequences with High Resolution(HR) via the fusion of several Low-Resolution(LR) video frames.Traditional methods rely on the accurate estimation of subpixel mot...Video Super-Resolution(SR) reconstruction produces video sequences with High Resolution(HR) via the fusion of several Low-Resolution(LR) video frames.Traditional methods rely on the accurate estimation of subpixel motion,which constrains their applicability to video sequences with relatively simple motions such as global translation.We propose an efficient iterative spatio-temporal adaptive SR reconstruction model based on Zernike Moment(ZM),which is effective for spatial video sequences with arbitrary motion.The model uses region correlation judgment and self-adaptive threshold strategies to improve the effect and time efficiency of the ZM-based SR method.This leads to better mining of non-local selfsimilarity and local structural regularity,and is robust to noise and rotation.An efficient iterative curvature-based interpolation scheme is introduced to obtain the initial HR estimation of each LR video frame.Experimental results both on spatial and standard video sequences demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms existing methods in terms of both subjective visual and objective quantitative evaluations,and greatly improves the time efficiency.展开更多

The detailed design procedure of the adaptive fuzzy control system is presented. Two T-S models are used as both controller and identifier. The parameters of the controller could be modified according to the information of the identifier. Simulation results show that the method can effectively cope with the uncertainty of flexible satellite by on-line learning and thus posses the good robustness. Created the seven-freedoms vehicle suspension model, and the road input model; with Matlab/Simulink toolboxes and modules, built dynamical system simulation model for heavy truck with air suspension, fuzzy adaptive control model, height control model for air spring, and intelligent control and analyse on root mean square value of acceleration of gravity center of the vehicle under excitation of road. Results show that the fuzzy control had less help to the body vibration on the better pavement, but had the better benefit on the bad road, and the vehicle’s root mean square value of acceleration of gravity center is less than passive suspension’s obviously.展开更多
