This gives an easy approach to get effective potentials directly from the gap equations. We find out explicitexpressions for the effective potentials at zero temperature in the cases of D = 2,3, and 4 for practical use.展开更多

Simulations of one- and two-dimensional models arc given. For given θ 〉 0, the model can self-organize, to a critical state, and the critical threshold fc(θ) decreases as θ increases. The exact gap equation depending on θ is presented, which reduces to the gap equation of BS model as θ tends to infinity. An exact cquation for the critical exponent γ(θ) is also obtained. Scaling relations are established among the six critical exponents of the avalanches of the model.展开更多

With the anti-periodic boundary condition, our calculation shows the chiral quark condensate, which characterizes the strength of dynamical chiral symmetry breaking, decreases as L decreases below 2.5 fm. We further study the finite volume effects on the pseudotransition temperature T;of the crossover, showing a significant decrease in T;as L decreases below 3 fm.展开更多
