Greening Strategies for the Construction of Eco-garden City in Xinjiang

There are a lot of problems in urban greening strategies for Xinjiang due to geographical conditions, climate and humanity. Based on the construction of eco-garden city in Xinjiang, this paper analyzed the greening problems during the construction of eco-garden city, so as to provide a reference for the greening construction of eco-garden city in Xinjiang.

Analysis of Vertical Greening Landscaping in Suzhou Classical Gardens of China

Based on the survey of vertical greening plants in Suzhou classical gardens, the paper had introduced plants varieties for vertical greening in the gardens, and pointed out that it was one of the common techniques for vertical greening landscaping to make use of vine plants. It had also introduced 23 species of plants having been applied in vertical greening landscaping in Suzhou classical gardens, which belonged to 19 genera and 13 families. In terms of application form, it emphasized that white walls should be treated as papers and plants as paintings, shelves as pavilions and plants as shade, fences as supports and plants as decorations, rockeries as bones and plants as coats, banks as bases and plants as edges, columns as axes and plants as ornaments, bridges as surfaces and plants as points, and sloping fields as groves and plants as auxiliaries by taking vertical greening in Nets Garden, the Humble Administrator's Garden, Lingering Garden, the Garden of Pleasant, the Lion Forest Garden and Coupling Garden for example.

Demonstration Effect of Shanghai Expo Garden “One Axis and Four Pavilions” in Promoting Green Building

In the construction of "One Axis and Four Pavilions" in Shanghai Expo Garden,the concept of "constructing green buildings,and developing low-carbon economy" was demonstrated in the design in view of actual conditions of the pavilions,local soft soil environment,hot summer and cold winter.The design promoted the development of green buildings in China.

Planning Overall Landscapes,Building a Garden City:on the Revision of Guangzhou Urban Green Space System Planning

The concept of urban green space system planning was proposed after analyzing the background of compiling Guangzhou green space system planning and current situation of local green spaces,i.e. design landscape pattern of Guangzhou City during urban agglomeration of the Pearl River Delta,and highlight Lingnan cultures(Lingnan refers to south of the Five Ridges) and features of "Flower City"(another name of Guangzhou). Key points of planning are protecting ecological barriers in the north,improving urban garden structure in the center,using wetland reasonably in the south,to maintain integrality and continuity of the landscape pattern.

The Practice Strategy of Construction of Ecological Garden City in China: A Case Study of Action of “Xuchang Being Full of Green” in Xuchang City

Starting from the purpose and current situation of the implementation of action of "Xuchang being full of green",this study analyzed the problems existing in the implementation of action of "Xuchang being full of green" and discussed the implementation plan of action of "Xuchang being full of green" from two aspects of macro strategy and node promotion strategy,hoping to promote the construction of ecological garden cities in Xuchang and other cities in China.

Vegetative Reproduction through Green Cuttings of the Introduced Form <i>Weigela florida</i>f. “<i>Bristol ruby</i>” (Caprifoliaceae) in the Conditions of the Tashkent Botanical Garden (Uzbekistan)

For the first time, work was carried out on the vegetative reproduction of Weigela florida f. “Bristol Rubru” (Caprifoliaceae) was introduced into the Tashkent Botanical Garden (Uzbekistan) through green branches. As a result of the research conducted, it was noted that the vegetative reproduction possibilities of the “Bristol Ruby” form of Weigela florida were high. When placed on stimulants of two types (kornevin, heteroauxin), it became known that kornevin stimulants are effective in taking root. It was found that the effective way to multiply this form by green branches in a vegetative way—when placed on the stimulator of kornevin from the middle part of the rod, the indicators of root extraction of the cuttings were 93.3%, which is more effective than other options. When vegetative reproduction of this decorative form, it is recommended that the seedlings come to the standard state in 3 - 4 years and the root extraction indicators are high—this is its use as the second row shrubs in the case of growing on strongly saline soils in the conditions of Uzbekistan. The cultivation of green cuttings of the form in the fog showed that they are more effective than in the open ground.

Application of Greening Plants of Magnoliaceae in Hefei City

The study made a comprehensive survey and analysis on application status and disposition features of Magnoliaceae plants in gardens of Hefei City.The survey showed that there were 24 tree species of Magnoliaceae belonging to 6 genera having been applied in gardens of Hefei City,among which Magnolia grandiflora was the most widely applied and next was Magnolia denudate.Finally,scientific analysis had been conducted on application prospect of Magnoliaceae plants in garden greening.

On the Cultivation & Maintenance of Gardening Plants in Residential Areas of Liuzhou City

According to the analysis of the specific condition of green space of residential area in Liuzhou,effective suggestions to the design,cultivation and maintenance were put forward.

Composition of Garden Road System in Urban Park

Based on the idea of system,the paper had analyzed components of garden road system in urban park and their relations from the perspective of function,pattern and facility,and established framework of garden road system for guidance of garden road construction.After introduction of the connotation of garden road system,its attributes were summarized which were isolated elements,integrated collection,clear level and dynamic development;and its functional composition had been concluded from the aspects of practical function and social function.Practical functions contained traffic organization and guidance tour,space division and landscape composition,facility organization and habitat improvement.Social functions consisted of communication and education function.The pattern of garden road system had been introduced in terms of pattern elements,level structure and layout form.Facilities of garden road system had been classified into five categories covering rest facilities,ornamental facilities,light facilities,display facilities and service facilities.

Botanic gardens should lead the way to create a "Garden Earth" in the Anthropocene

The strength and expertise that botanic gardens bring to conservation are based on their detailed knowledge and understanding of the care. management, and biology of a diversity of plant species. This emphasis on the organism has led to many ex-situ and in-situ conservation programs aimed at protecting endangered species, restoring threatened populations, and establishing living plant and seed collections of endangered species. In China, the scale and pace of change in land and resource use, often leading to environmental degradation, has created a strong emphasis on improving environmental conditions. If done properly, being "green" can be a surprisingly complex issue, because it should encompass and exploit the whole of plant diversity and function. Unfortunately, 'green' often includes a small portion of this whole. Earth's rich plant diversity presents considerable opportunity but requires expertise and knowledge for stable and beneficial management. With the dawning of the Anthropocene, we should strive to live on a "Garden Earth", where we design and manage our environments, both built and natural, to create a healthy, beneficial living landscape for people and other organisms. The staff of botanic gardens worldwide and the living collections they maintain embody the best examples of sustainable, beautiful, and beneficial environments that thrive on plant diversity. This expertise should be a fundamental resource for agencies in all sectors responsible for managing and designing "green" infrastructure. Botanic gardens should actively engage and contribute to these opportunities, from large public infrastructure projects to small private conservation efforts. Here, we discuss several ongoing conservation efforts, primarily in China, and attempt to identify areas where botanic gardens could make a significant and meaningful difference.

Application of CITYgreen5.0 model to tender appraisement of small-scale green-space designs

Developed by the American Forests, CITYgreen5.0 model has been widely applied to urban forestry research and has played an important role in analyzing quantitatively the ecological benefits produced by varied green-space ecosystems. One of the functions of this model is to evaluate quickly and objectively on parts of the ecological benefits possibly produced by different design schemes for the same small-scale green-space project before the establishment. A comparative analysis was conducted by modeling partial ecological benefits potentially produced by green-spaces of two different design schemes for the same roof garden of Chuangfushidai-Junjingyuan in Shenzhen, given the growth status of plants both immediately after the establishment and 20 years later. Meanwhile, the project costs for each design scheme were also taken into consideration. The results showed that scheme II, mainly designed with a natural style of plant disposition, had a better greenery structure than that of scheme I, which was basically designed with a regular style of plant disposition. The estimated value of the partial ecological benefits produced by scheme II was larger than that of scheme I and the benefit-cost ratio of scheme II was more rational. It was suggested that scheme II be put into practice.

Application of Rainwater Garden in Dealing with Drought and Flood in Cities

On the basis of analyzing the concurrency of water resource shortage and flood disasters in Chinese cities, this paper proposed the application of natural water drainage mechanism, and introduction of rainwater garden into the urban landscape architecture design. The drainage ways of green streets including rainwater garden were elaborated, and it was proposed that roadside green belts can be used to save rainwater, realize the resource utilization of rainwater, to deal with the concurrency of drought and food in Chinese cities.

Development Trend of Vertical Greening in China and Countermeasures

Current situation of urban green spaces was analyzed, vertical greening, elevated floor and roof garden were effi cient ways of expanding urban green coverage area. The signifi cance of expanding green areas, improving soil, renovating and maintaining green plants was discussed.

河南城市绿地10年发展规模时序变化特征分析

以城市绿地率、绿化覆盖率和人均公园绿地面积为指标,对标国家园林城市和国家生态园林城市的相关指标要求,对河南17个地级以上城市2013—2022年十年间的绿地发展规模进行研究,归纳河南城市绿地发展的时序变化特征,探索未来河南城市绿地的建设方向。

藤本植物在上海城市立体绿化中的开发与利用

藤本植物是一种特殊的植物类型,资源丰富、科属众多、形态各异。因其占地较少、可塑性强、生态效益突出而对城市立体绿化具有重要意义。上海植物园自20世纪80年代开始系统性收集引种藤本植物资源,多年来一直从事藤本植物的引种、选育、栽培、应用等相关研究与立体绿化实践。随着上海的桥柱绿化、墙面绿化、屋顶绿化和家庭阳台等多种立体绿化的兴起和迅速发展,上海植物园选育的多种藤本植物、开发的立体绿化技术广泛用于城市立体空间的绿化和彩化,为丰富立体绿化景观、改善空气环境质量、减少建筑能耗等提供了植物资源和技术支撑。面对上海这一超大城市人口密集、空间有限等约束条件,应选育更多优良适生的常绿和观花藤本植物资源,量化并模拟藤本植物在不同环境和立柱条件下的表型可塑性和发展态势,开发低维护、可移动、可预制的藤本幕墙容器模块苗,为丰富城市立体绿化植物多样性、构建快速成景的生物绿墙提供支撑。

北京传统中轴线遗产区园林绿地的历史遗产价值分析与保护研究

北京传统中轴线遗产区园林绿地是中轴线的重要组成,与城市空间和建筑空间共同构成中轴线的遗产本体。中轴线园林绿地是北京老城历史累积叠加形成的具有生命的历史文化遗产,对北京传统中轴线申遗具有重要价值。通过研究传统中轴线遗产区园林绿地的发展历程,厘清了不同时期园林绿地在有形要素“位置与格局”“建筑与景观”和无形要素“功能与传统”三方面的发展情况,进而分析得出中轴线园林绿地的五大历史遗产价值。结合中轴园林绿地的历史遗产价值和保护现状,提出传统中轴线遗产区园林绿地保护和管理的相关建议。

融合校园资源的应用型园林人才培养实践探究

新农科背景下,培养专业基础扎实、知识结构合理和创新实践能力较强的高素质应用型人才是高校人才培养的重要职责。为探求高校农林类教育应用型人才培养路径,本文融合校园资源对园林专业人才培养模式进行实践探究,通过构建园林专业课程群,建设校园绿化与教学实训一体化平台,与高校绿化部门协作创建“双师型”人才培养模式,以园林行业为标准,创设实践评分机制,并对该模式的实践成效进行分析。本研究有利于多维度、有进阶地促使园林专业人才培养与行业发展需求相契合,为实现创新型应用型园林专业人才培养提供参考。

科技创新推动茶叶质量安全全程管控能力提升

现阶段我国茶叶质量安全水平高,饮茶安全有保障。茶叶饮用安全得益于茶叶科技创新日益发展,茶园绿色防控技术、清洁化茶叶加工技术、茶叶质量安全精准检测技术与风险评估理论创新,将茶叶质量安全从末端监管调整到从茶园到茶杯的全过程,为茶叶质量安全风险监测、风险控制与风险管理提供强有力的科学支撑。性诱剂化学生态防控技术、杀虫灯与诱虫色板物理诱杀技术、茶尺蠖与茶毛虫病毒生物防治技术、以草抑草绿色除草技术等茶园绿色防控技术从源头提升了茶叶农药残留控制水平;清洁化能源加热替代传统的燃煤燃材加热方式,显著降低了茶叶加工中环境污染物和重金属等有害物质的污染;质谱创新技术将茶叶质量安全检测提升到高通量精准检测与非靶向筛查水平,速测创新技术前移了茶叶农药残留的监测环节。文章介绍了近年来我国茶叶质量安全水平,分析了科技创新对茶叶质量安全全程管控能力提升的推动作用。
