Spatial Layout Art of Chinese Private Gardens

Private garden is one of the three major garden styles in China,the artistic achievements of which have devoted remarkable contributions to the development of global landscape architecture.Through studying the spatial layout of private gardens,the authors further analyzed three ways of landscape layouts,specifically,separated scenery,winding scenery and borrowed scenery.Concrete examples were taken to demonstrate the connotations and application skills of such three layouts,in order to benefit the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese garden art.

On Translation of Children’s Literature Based on Reception Aesthetics:A Case Study of The Secret Garden

Grounded in reader-centered theories,Reception Aesthetics prioritizes the active engagement and acceptance of target readers.This study examines the translation of children’s literature through the lens of Reception Aesthetics,using Li Wenjun’s rendition of The Secret Garden as a case study.The objective is to scrutinize various aspects of the translation-including vocabulary,syntax,rhetorical devices,and cultural nuances-and to discern how the adaptation and application of diverse translation strategies cater to the aesthetic expectations.

Functional Features and Layouts of Yangzhou Residential Gardens in the Late Qing Dynasty and the Early Republic of China: A Case Study of Residential Gardens of Officials, Merchants and Literati

On the basis of analyzing socio-economic structures, social classes and their relations in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, this paper took residential gardens of three principal groups(officials, merchants and literati) for example, analyzed functional features and layouts of the gardens, explored artistic characteristics and cultural connotations of the local residential gardens, so as to provide references for the conservation and construction of historic and cultural cities, design and expression of modern urban livable spaces.

Effect of Hue Citadel on the Layout of Traditional Garden Houses Located in Its Area, Vietnam

In Hue, the city located in the middle region of Vietnam, the Citadel is known as the place of the last Dynasty in the history of Vietnam, Nguyen （1802-1945）. Whereas Nguyen Kings lived in the Purple Forbidden City （the third wall of the Citadel）, other members of royal families and high-ranking mandarins lived in Hue Traditional Garden Houses （HTGHs） constructed around and in the Citadel area. This paper is a part of the research that focuses on an approach for sustainable live conservation and application of HTGHs into contemporary use. In this paper, the study aims to consider effects of the Citadel on the layout and arrangement of HTGHs located in its＇ area by studying alteration in layout elements of those house. Based on field surveys of 91 HTGHs in the Citadel area, it is found that although those houses are altered into various configurations under the impacts of urbanization and modernization, several important traditional elements in layout such as Binh Phong （masonry screen）, Be Can （basin）, and facing orientation have been maintained, and their layouts reflect a miniature image of Hue Citadel, i.e., there is an integral relationship between the Citadel and HTGHs located in it. This relationship plays an important role for expressing one of unique characteristics of Hue cultural asset, which is unavailable in other regions of Vietnam.

Research on Monitoring and Early-warning Standards of Ancient and Famous Trees Protection in the Humble Administrator's Garden

Based on the current situation and symptoms of the trees' growth in the Humble Administrator's Garden,this paper put forward corresponding monitoring and early-warning standards and technical measures of the ancient and famous trees protection in the Humble Administrator's Garden specifically.The aim of doing this is to establish a scientific basis for the protection of the ancient and famous trees in the Humble Administrator's Garden by setting up systematic fundamental data,dynamic protection standard grades and technique measures of protecting the trees.The main symptom of trees in the Humble Administrator's Garden is the erosion and decay of the tree trunks.Fifteen tree trunks need technical protection,which holds 65.22% of the total sum of trees in the Humble Administrator's Garden.Therefore,much more emphasis should be paid in strengthening technical protection procedures of monitoring and early warning of the tree trunks in the future protection of the ancient and famous trees in the garden.Besides,the rejuvenation technique of rooting zone and rooting system,tree pruning technique as well as tree supporting measures according to the specific condition and symptom of the trees should be concerned with in order to protect the ancient and famous trees in the Humble Administrator's Garden in a more scientific and effective way.

Gardening Art of Gu Dongyang's Memorial Temple in Wuxi City,Jiangsu Province

On the basis of explaining goals of building temple gardens,Gu Dongyang’s Memorial Temple in Wuxi City was taken for example to analyze its gardening arts from the perspective of water layout,stone layout,building and plant design,and elaborate its cultural connotations from decorative symbols of its architectural components.It was concluded that Gu Dongyang’s Memorial Temple,in spite of its small size and plain style,had profound historical background and high referential value for furthering the study on temple gardens in the south of the Yangtze River.

Research on Qian Yuan the Famous Private Garden of the Late Qing Dynasty in Xuzhou

Through sorting out and analyzing the decriptions about Qian Yuan in poems and literatures,the paper analyzed the personality characteristics and gardening value orientations of its owner,explored the planar and spatial layouts of the garden,and expounded the composition features and the interaction between the layouts of rockery,water,path,building and plant,elaborated the landscape style of Qian Yuan,as well as the garden environment,cultural rhyme and landscape beauty formed by these elements,finally it successfully represented the glory of this famous private garden of the late Qing Dynasty.

Taxonomic Diversity and Structure of Gastropods in Stations at Salvia officinalis L. (Lamiaceae) in the Gardens of Tlemcen Park (Tlemcen Mounts, Algeria)

The Tlemcen region is located in north-western Algeria and is characterized by a semi-arid bioclimate. An approach to the diversity of the malacofauna associated with Salvia officinalis was carried out in three stations belonging to this area from February to June 2015. The specific richness of the Gastropods is 9 divided into three families: Milacidae, Helicidae and Subulinidae. The second includes two subfamilies including that of Helicinae and that of Helicellinae. Two species are constant, 01 is incidental and the 06 others are very accidental. The relative importance of snails fluctuates according to the stations and according to the months and the seasons. In winter, in the first station the malacological richness is equal to 6. In February, the specific richness is relatively important in the 2nd station with a value equal to 7. Milax nigricans (Milacidae) has a frequency of 10% in station 1 and has a density of 0.1 in this same station. It is absent in the other two stations. Euparypha pisana has a frequency of 60% in station 3 and an abundance of 0.57 in this same station.

ESD保护电路在HDMI板级信号完整性中的影响分析及其布局优化研究

为了解决HDMI接入ESD保护电路后信号完整性受破坏等问题,从器件的空间布局对HDMI信号完整性影响进行研究分析,同时考虑了瞬态电压抑制(TVS)高频寄生参数的影响,搭建了ESD放电模型和TVS高频等效电路模型,并对其可靠性进行了验证。从差分器件接入信号线旋转角度和彼此间错开距离研究其对信号完整性的影响,设计了25套不同夹角和4套不同错开距离的板级模型,在不同特性的传输频率下进行S参数仿真,并从中选取出垂直型、水平型、错开型三种具有代表性的空间布局模型,利用有限元仿真得到差分信号线的S参数和眼图。仿真结果表明,垂直型排布相比于其他两种典型空间布局,回波损耗平均降低了248.1%,插入损耗平均降低了20.6%,眼图的眼宽和眼高在三种空间布局中最大。研究成果为PCB静电放电保护电路分析与设计提供了布局优化指导。

Redesign Facility Layout with a Kaizen Approach in Testing Laboratory at Balai Pengujian&Sertifikat Mutu Barang Makassar

In trading activities,especially exports in the food commodities sector,several documents must be made and completed by exporters,such as Certificate of Quality,Test-Certificate,and Chemical Analysis.Balai Pengujian&Sertifikasi Mutu Barang Makassar is a government agency operating in South Celebes that tests the quality of various agricultural and plantation commodities.From year to year,demand for testing services has increased along with the number of exports.So,testing activities have changed in terms of facility layout requirements resulting in overwhelmed in carrying out the testing process.Test rooms are not connected based on the current testing flow causing the tester’s ineffective work patterns.This study aims to redesign the layout of the facilities in the testing laboratory with the Kaizen approach to support the smooth testing process.The results of this study indicate that the proposed floor area uses a 150% allowance so the calculation requires a floor area of 42.52 m^(2).After that,an analysis of the proximity of the facilities is carried out by making ARC(Activity Relationship Chart)and ARD(Activity Relationship Diagram).Based on ARD,a template is made for the layout of testing laboratory facilities.This study applies Kaizen theory with the 5S concept to obtain a neater design,namely Seiri and Seiton in the refreshment laboratory and weighing room,Seiso on testing equipment in all testing laboratory rooms,Seiketsu and Shitsuke applied to all rooms in the testing laboratory.

基于GIS模型的地域性灌木园林景观空间平衡性布局最优规划仿真

针对当前对景观结构与功能相互关系分析的方法缺少,导致灌木面积演化后大幅度减少的问题,提出基于GIS模型的地域性灌木园林景观空间平衡性布局最优规划仿真。统计基于GIS模型的地域性灌木高程数据,在ArcGIS中计算灌木景观热力学熵,判断空间布局平衡性。分析地域性灌木分配均匀度、空间平衡性布局优势度和布局规划维度指标,定量分析景观格局结构与功能的相互关系。通过空间平衡性布局最优规划指标,计算地域性灌木斑块面积占比和灌木斑块密度指数,通过GIS模型交互反馈解决规划过程中维度低的问题。将对比度、信息熵、元素间相似程度作为描述向量,结合最大似然法进行布局最优规划仿真,使用综合指数评价法构建GIS评价模型,按照空间平衡性设定布局标准,获取合理规划结果。仿真结果表明,采用该方法进行灌木园林景观布局规划,演化后的灌木面积为5.0×105hm2,与所研究方法一致。研究结果表明,使用该方法进行地域性灌木园林景观空间平衡性布局最合理。

基于CLUE-S模型的不同情景下区域土地利用布局优化

土地利用规划要求把土地资源最终配置在空间上,而现有文献更多是对土地利用结构的优化,很少对全局土地利用布局优化,鉴于此,为减轻土地利用规划的多目标冲突,同时为提高资源配置效率,释放空间效应,对不同情景下的土地利用布局优化进行研究。用非线性优化模型中的理想点法求取了不同情景下最优土地利用结构,用Logistic回归提取了不同用地的优化布局规则,以不同情景下的土地优化结构为数量约束,借助CLUE-S模型的全局配置能力对各情景下的用地布局作优化,并以扬州市为实例进行阐述。结果表明:(1)优先发展经济情景下,2025年扬州土地利用经济产值是10.4×10~7万元,优先保护生态情景下,目标年生态服务价值是9.7×10~5万元,保障公众福利情景下,公众福利大小是351271 hm^2;(2)经济增长目标对土地利用结构的情景变化最为敏感,而公众福利目标的敏感性最小;(3)与基期年比,发展经济与保育生态情景下的土地优化布局变化最大,前者主要是市区城镇工矿用地向东部及西北扩张,后者则是在西南丘陵及南部长江岸边配置了大量园地、林地。提出的不同情景下土地利用布局的优化方法可为土地利用规划及生态规划提供有力技术支持。

基于CLUE-S模型的区域土地利用布局优化

随着城市的经济发展与环境的变化,土地的合理布局与保护显得尤为重要。本文根据滁州市的地形特点,对现状布局的不合理分布进行相关调整,利用Logistic回归方法,求取不同用地类型的回归系数,最后以布局规则为依据进行空间模拟,从而模拟出目标年优化后的土地利用布局。结果表明,在基本单元为150 m*150 m的栅格水平上,Kappa值为0.871,说明CLUE-S模型能够成功模拟区域土地利用空间布局,且具有较高的模拟精度;优化之后的2020年滁州市土地利用布局显得更加合理。

Application of the BSSF molten steel slag processing technology in POSCO

The Use and Value of Green School Grounds in Developing Countries

There is an extensive attention in developed countries to take full advantages of urban green spaces including green school grounds.Those spaces are assessed and established as environmental learning resources,where top-down or bottom-up initiatives encourage or initiate projects with the support of school staffs and students.Green school grounds are also used for gardening(food growing)that besides environmental education,those spaces provide health benefits and knowledge,also skills and behavioral benefits.Those approaches in some developing countries are still vague or inapplicable for several reasons.This paper addresses the use and value of school grounds in developing countries as it lacks the opportunities to make the most of green school grounds.This research elaborated five schools,in the city of Podujevo,Kosovo.The findings reveal that the potentials of green school grounds in most of the cases studied have not been utilized.Opportunities offered by the municipality and environmental NGOs(Non-governmental Organizations)are insufficient.The findings suggest the need to rethink the design and use of green school grounds in developing countries.
