The Emergence of Loving Pedagogy in the L2 Affective Domain:How Affective Pedagogy Accounts for Chinese EFL Teachers’Professional Success and Job Satisfaction?

The success of teachers in professional environments has a desirable influence on their mental condition.Simply said,teachers’professional success plays a crucial role in improving their mental health.Due to the invaluable role of professional success in teachers’mental health,personal and professional variables helping teachers succeed in their profession need to be uncovered.While the role of teachers’personal qualities has been well researched,the function of professional variables has remained unknown.To address the existing gap,the current investigation measured the role of two professional variables,namely job satisfaction and loving pedagogy,in Chinese EFL teachers’professional success.To do this,three validated scales were provided to 1591 Chinese EFL teachers.Participants’answers to the questionnaires were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test and structural equation modeling.The data analysis demonstrated a strong,positive link between the variables.Moreover,loving pedagogy was found to be the positive,strong predictor of Chinese EFL teachers’job satisfaction and professional success.The findings of the current inquiry may help educational administrators enhance their instructors’professional success,which in turn promotes their mental and psychological conditions at work.

Analysis on the Application of Genre-based Approach to English Teaching

The awareness of applying genre in teaching and learning language has been aroused recently, and the choices of genres are connected closely with teachers' teaching goals and the needs of students. This paper which holds certain pedagogic purpose, analyzes genre-based teaching approach via an analysis on an English text book named Changes (level 1), aiming to help EFL teachers cultivate their genre awareness.

The Application Study on Genre-based Approach in the English Exposition Writing Teaching for Professional College English Major Students

The previous studies show that the major problems faced by the students in writing can be classified into two categories, that is, they don't know"what to write"and"how to write". The researchers found that the specific problems existing in their writings are identified as poor content, incomplete generic structure and misuse of cohesive devices. Therefore, on the basis of the previous studies, this study attempts to use Martin's genre theory to resolve the existed problems of the Professional College English major's students in writing and enhance students' discourse writing ability. Meanwhile, this study tries to answer the following questions:(1) Compared with the traditional writing teaching methods, whether the genre-based writing method has a significant effect to improve students' writing skills;(2) Whether the genre-based writing method is possible to increase students' interest in writing. The experimental result and the questionnaire show that genre-based approach in ESL writing teaching really can improve students' writing achievement and enhance students' interest in English writing.

The Application of Genre-based Approach in Teaching English Reading in Mid-level Professional School

Reading is a complex process,and effective reading is preceded by discourse patterns,namely genre knowledge of the passage structure.Genre-based approach applies the theory of genre and genre analysis to the classroom,and develops teaching activities revolving around the schematic structure of a text.It is attempted by teaching genre knowledge to cultivate students' genre awareness under certain social and cultural environment for enhancing their reading comprehension.

For the past decades,genre-based language teaching has drawn an increasing attention from researchers and language teachers.It has been applied to more and more language teaching contexts.This paper aims to explain this teaching approach from the following aspects:theories underlying it,design and teaching procedures.It also explores ways to apply this approach to English writing teaching.

A Genre-Based Approach to Developing Learning and Teaching Academic Writing Skills With Relation to the Omani Technical Context

Teachers are supposed to apply the Genre-Based Approach(GBA)to teach academic writing in the Foundation Year Program(FYP)in the colleges of technology.However,students in these colleges find it difficult to produce a formal piece of academic work(Al-Husseini,2004).Students seem to face lot of writing problems and so the author conducted this study to have a better understanding of what is happening.He carried a questionnaire study to reveal the causes of difficulties in academic writing.The author restricted his focus on research to lack of practice in applying these skills in students’writing as that is more relevant in the technical colleges’context.The study proved that the absence of practicing learning and teaching academic writing due to the insufficient use of the GBA,partly discourage the adequate mastering of these skills.Following the GBA to tackle such problem might be useful.As a consequence,the author considers this research study’s results as an additional evidence for the value of the GBA in developing the learning and teaching of academic writing skills to FYP Omani students in the technical colleges.

Genre-based Approach to Language Teaching

This paper introduced three schools of genre-based approaches in English teaching, focusing in particular on the SFL approach. A model of pedagogy teaching students to write English editorials is designed.

Genre-Based Approach in Business Translation Teaching

Genre-based teaching approach is a pedagogy based on genre and genre analysis theory.Based on this teaching approach,the paper puts forward a three-stage model appropriate for the teaching of business English reading.It develops teaching activities focusing on the schematic structure of a discourse.Its purpose is to make students know that the discourses with different genres have different communicative purposes and discourse structures.Through a theoretical analysis and empirical study of the model,it is concluded that genre-based teaching approach can effectively help students improve their ability of business English reading comprehension.

A Discussion on the Pedagogical Concepts in Confucian Analects from the View of the Pedagogy of Performed Culture Approach

Confucian Analects contains many pedagogical concepts and viewpoints that have a significant influence on China’s culture and history.Many of the concepts can be interpreted and understood from the perspective of the pedagogy of Performed Culture Approach.This paper investigates the meanings of some Confucian pedagogical discussions and thoughts,such as communicating with other social members,the relationship between language and behavior,multiple procedures in learning,and how social contexts affect one’s language and performance in the Analects,which is mainly from the perspective of the relationship between language and Performed Culture Approach.

以教育思想创新推进中国教育学自主知识体系建设

中国教育学自主知识体系是以马克思主义为指导,以中国特色社会主义教育思想为核心,传承中华优秀传统文化,吸收世界优秀文化而形成的教育学知识体系。教育思想的创新发展是教育学学科平台和团队建设、学科和学术话语发展、学科和学术人才培育、学科和学术治理等五个系统的灵魂、动力和关键,也是此五个子系统发生发展和成熟的标志、实力的象征、成效的标准。政治方向和思想影响力都是中国教育学自主知识体系成熟的标志、标准和目标,改革开放以来有效促进教育实践发展的教育思想创新成果是建构中国教育学自主知识体系的核心资源。新时代建设教育强国,推进中国式教育现代化要以教育思想创新为核心,努力推进中国教育学自主知识体系建设。

“虚拟仿真+试误教学法”实验教学模式的探索与实践

以虚拟仿真结合“试误”教学法,建立混合式实验教学模式用于药学专业高危类化学实验教学。以氧化石墨烯的制备为例,采用3D MAX、IdeaVR等软件对实验场景、仪器设备等进行高度仿真。在线教学模式便于学生随时随地沉浸式学习,凸显“以学生为本”的教育理念;增加“试误”选项,让学生体验错误操作会导致爆炸等危险后果,强化关键知识点。基于“试误”教学法的虚拟仿真实验模式,不仅解决了传统实验教学中安全隐患大、污染严重等问题,能够以虚补实,而且为学生创造了自主性高、探索式学习环境,同时,该教学模式为危险系数高的化学类实验课程的开设提供了教学示范。

论中国教育学自主知识体系建设

中国教育学学科成熟、学术繁荣和话语自觉的标志,是形成了自主的知识体系。百余年来,作为“西学东渐”产物的中国教育学经历了多次推倒重来的发展,但始终将民族性与继承性作为自主知识建构的主线,将时代性与原创性作为学科知识发展的动力,将系统性与专业性作为学科获得认同的基础。新中国成立70多年来,教育的民生属性、战略属性和政治属性随时代变迁而日益凸显。中国教育学自主知识体系由学科体系、学术体系、话语体系、教材体系、治理体系构成。具体而言,在内容形态上由标识性概念、核心知识和前沿知识构成;在生产机制上由学科、学派、学会和学术刊物构成;在转化应用上由实践知识、政策知识和教育思想构成。教育学的中国特色源于中国教育传统、中国教育实践和中国教育问题,建基于学科自觉、学术自律和文化自信。要处理好中国特色与普遍知识的辩证关系,夯实学科体系的基座,激发学术体系的原创性,增强教材体系的导向性,提高治理体系的有效性,让中国教育学“说得出”“用得上”“传得开”“叫得响”,为教育强国建设提供思想先导和理论支撑。

中国特色现代教育学话语体系解析

中国特色现代教育学话语体系是以马克思主义为指导,以中华优秀传统文化为底色,在中国教育理论与教育实践的土壤中形成的,用中国的思维和方式对教育学概念、范畴、表述等进行系统阐述的言语表达系统。中国特色现代教育学话语体系由话语立场、话语主体、话语客体、话语内容、话语传播五大要素组成。中国特色现代教育学话语体系形成有其特定的理论逻辑、历史逻辑、实践逻辑和文化逻辑;其发展又呈现出内在发展规律,主要表现为:以历史为基、以时代为脉,促进教育学理论研究与实践变革的双向建构;抒人民之情、表人民之意,人民性贯穿于话语体系的始终;以中国为点、以世界为面,教育学话语体系向内生发的同时注重向外传播。

数智技术赋能开放教育再开放

在数智技术赋能下,开放教育生态系统正在经历持久性、动态性的演变。然而,关于其最终将演变成何种形态,目前仍存在不确定性与模糊性。本研究从技能本位的学习范式视角出发,探讨了开放教育在数智技术赋能下的革新过程,从目的观、教学观、学习观、空间观、评价观五个方面阐述了数智时代的开放教育观并构建了一个开放教育生态系统框架,涵盖开放学习文化、开放教育资源、开放教学法、开放学习法、开放学习空间、技能本位的开放评估机制等,旨在为开放教育数字化转型提供理论架构,支撑转型中的决策与实践,并呼吁开放教育走向“再开放”。

教育定量研究范式:价值、困境与创新路径

教育定量研究范式是以实证主义为基础,运用数学工具或统计分析等手段对教育现象或教育过程进行测量,依据数据资料检验理论假设,揭示教育现象中各种因素相关关系的研究范式。它是提升教育研究科学化的关键,是引领教育高质量发展的工具,也是适应教育数字化转型需要的必然趋势。但是,当前教育定量研究在推动教育学走向科学化与实证化的过程中面临着多重困境,表现为方法的“内生性”问题、量化的“前提性”问题和研究的“规范性”问题。我国教育研究向实证研究范式的转型、信息技术的迅猛发展、数据共享与公开机制的形成,为定量研究范式创新提供了现实可能。未来,教育定量研究范式应在多种维度上进行变革和创新,推行复制性研究,发展计算教育学,加强教育预测研究。

PBL联合翻转课堂在中医内科学临床实习中的应用研究

目的 评价以问题为基础的教学法(problem-based learning,PBL)联合翻转课堂在中医内科学临床实习中的效果。方法 选取2021年2月—2023年2月于首都医科大学附属北京中医医院综合科实习的80名学生,随机分为PBL联合翻转课堂组(n=40)与传统教学组(n=40)。传统教学组采用传统的教学方法,PBL联合翻转课堂组给予PBL联合翻转课堂教学方法。比较2组学生的笔试成绩、学生满意度问卷、参与度评分,评价2种教学方法的教学效果。结果 PBL联合翻转课堂组的总成绩[(88.45±3.93)分]和病例分析成绩[(44.93±2.71)分]高于传统教学组[(82.88±5.99)分、(39.73±4.27)分],差异有统计学意义(P <0.001)。2组的理论知识成绩比较,差异无统计学意义(P> 0.05)。PBL联合翻转课堂组在加深理论知识记忆(100%)、掌握必要临床技能(97.5%)、增强医患沟通能力(97.5%)、提高文献查阅等学习能力(97.5%)、提高中医临床实习兴趣(95.0%)、培养中医临床思维(100%)、对教学方法是否满意(100%)7个维度的满意度均高于传统教学组(60.0%、52.5%、65.0%、50.0%、62.5%、75.0%、67.5%),差异有统计学意义(P <0.05)。学生参与度方面,PBL联合翻转课堂组学生的课前学习及课上表现评分与总成绩呈正相关,差异有统计学意义(P <0.05)。结论 PBL联合翻转课堂在中医内科学临床实习中的应用效果显著,能够提高教学效果,且学生满意度较高。

过程:敞亮学位论文写作的言说逻辑--基于教育学的视角

学位论文写作是艰苦的脑力劳动,须经历一个过程,即使这个过程是漫长的,其关键步骤也不多。学位论文写作的关键步主要有三:一是界定核心概念,澄清研究问题;二是综述已有文献,建构新颖观点;三是增强对话意识,展开分析论证。三步走既有前后顺序,也彼此关联,最终形成完整的学位论文。从这个意义上说,学位论文写作就是“研究问题+新颖观点+分析论证”的统一体。

基于现象学教育学的高职英语教学中文化自信的培养探究

高职英语教学中培养学生的文化自信是讲好中国故事、传播中华优秀传统文化的重要前提。在分析学生文化自信现状的基础上,以现象学教育学为理论框架,构建高职英语教学中文化自信的培养模式,教学实例证明通过运用旁观者卷入式解释性对话和参与者共在式冲突对话两种对话模式,可以增强学生的文化自信,达到更好的教学效果。

创新驱动 融合育人 追求卓越——研究生教育人才培养创新与实践

研究生教育是教育强国建设的制高点,肩负着高层次人才培养和创新创造的重大使命。随着研究生招生规模快速扩张,我国由研究生教育大国向研究生教育强国转变过程中,亟需加强研究生教育研究、培养高层次研究生教育学专门人才。北京理工大学历经10余年,持续推进研究生教育学人才培养与学科建设,提出“创新驱动、融合育人、追求卓越”的育人理念,高起点率先创建了研究生教育学新学科,构建了研究生教育学人才培养新体系,实施了“四融合”多元复合育人新模式,走出了一条成建制、系统化、可持续的研究生教育学研究与管理高层次专门人才的培养新路。

新时代我国比较教育学研究生学位论文研究范式的规整

21世纪以来,我国比较教育研究的相关文献逐年增长,并呈现出多样态的发展趋势,但研究范式仍有不足。当前我国比较教育学研究生学位论文研究范式主要表征为研究主题来源广泛、研究方法丰富多样、研究规范已初步形成体系、研究综述有待完善、研究框架需进一步确立、研究启示普遍针对性不强。新时代我国比较教育学研究生学位论文需要在研究主题的深化、研究综述的完善、研究方法的选取、研究框架的形成、研究启示针对性地加强、研究规范的统一等方面规整研究范式,探索适应时代发展需求的我国比较教育研究发展之道。
