At present,the Lu an Radio and Television Tower is the tallest building in Anhui Province,and it is easily struck by lightning during the thunderstorm season.In order to clearly understand the lightning environment around the TV tower,based on the lightning positioning monitoring data provided by the Anhui Meteorological Bureau,the distribution characteristics of six lightning parameters within 5 km of the TV tower were studied firstly.Secondly,combined with the field survey data,a soil model was established,and the distribution of ground potential and other related parameters were simulated using CDEGS software,which can provide certain reference for the subsequent lightning protection design and construction. 展开更多

Accurate calculation of the potential energy curve and spectroscopic parameters of X^2Σ^+ state of ^(12)Mg^1H

High level calculations on the ground state of 12Mg1H molecule have been performed using multi-reference configuration interaction (MRCI) method with the Davidson modification. The core-valence correlation and scalar relativistic corrections are included into the present calculations at the same time. The potential energy curve (PEC) of the ground state, all of the vibrational levels and spectroscopic parameters are fitted. The results show that the levels and spectroscopic parameters are in good agreement with the available experimental data. The analytical potential energy function (APEF) is also deduced from the calculated PEC using the Murrell-Sorbie (M-S) potential function. The present results can provide a helpful reference for the future spectroscopic experiments or dynamical calculations of the molecule. 展开更多

Interrelation between seismicity parameters and delimiting potential seismic sources in a seismic statistical region and its influence on seismic risk estimation

In the paper, we have discovered the abnormal area distribution features of maximum variation values of ground motion parameter uncertainty with different probabilities of exceedance in 50 years within the range of 100°-120°E, 29°-42°N for the purpose to solve the problem that abnormal areas of maximum variation values of ground motion parameter uncertainties emerge in a certain cities and towns caused by seismicity parameter uncertainty in a seismic statistical region in an inhomogeneous distribution model that considers tempo-spatial nonuniformity of seismic activity. And we have also approached the interrelation between the risk estimation uncertainty of a site caused by seismicity parameter uncertainty in a seismic statistical region and the delimitation of potential sources, as well as the reasons for forming abnormal areas. The results from the research indicate that the seismicity parameter uncertainty has unequal influence on the uncertainty of risk estimation at each site in a statistical region in the inhomogeneous distribution model, which relates to the scheme for delimiting potential sources. Abnormal areas of maximum variation values of ground motion parameter uncertainty often emerge in the potential sources of Mu greater than or equal 8 (Mu is upper limit of a potential source) and their vicinity. However, this kind of influence is equal in the homogeneous distribution model. The uncertainty of risk estimation of each site depends on its seat. Generally speaking, the sites located in the middle part of a statistical region are only related to the seismicity parameter uncertainty of the region, while the sites situated in or near the juncture of two or three statistical regions might be subject to the synthetic influences of seismicity parameter uncertainties of several statistical regions. 展开更多

The potential of dark energy V(φ) and the cosmological parameters, such as the dimensionless energy density Ωφ, Ωm, and the state parameter wφ, are connected to it. Concretely, by giving two kinds of parameterized deceleration parameters q(z) = a + bz/(1 + z) and q(z) = 1/2 + (az + b)/(1 + z)^2, the evolution of these parameters and the reconstructed potentials V(φ) are plotted and analysed. Bayesian prediction of potential depressions in the Erlian Basin based on integrated geophysical parameters

In this study,we analyzed the geological,gravity,magnetic,and electrical characteristics of depressions in the Erlian Basin.Based on the results of these analyses,we could identify four combined feature parameters showing strong correlations and sensibilities to the reservoir oil-bearing conditions:the average residual gravity anomaly,the average magnetic anomaly,the average depth of the conductive key layer,and the average elevation of the depressions.The feature parameters of the 65 depressions distributed in the whole basin were statistically analyzed:each of them showed a Gaussian distribution and had the basis of Bayesian theory.Our Bayesian predictions allowed the defi nition of a formula to calculate the posterior probability of oil occurrence in the depressions based on the combined characteristic parameters.The feasibility of this prediction method was verifi ed by considering the results obtained for the 22 drilled depressions.Subsequently,we were able to determine the oilbearing threshold of hydrocarbon potential for the depressions in the Erlian Basin,which can be used as a standard for quantitative optimizations.Finally,the proposed prediction method was used to calculate the probability of hydrocarbons in the other 43 depressions.Based on this probability and on the oil-bearing threshold,the fi ve depressions with the highest potential were selected as targets for future seismic explorations and drilling.We conclude that the proposed method,which makes full use of massive gravity,magnetic,electric,and geological data,is fast,eff ective,and allows quantitative optimizations;hence,it will be of great value for the comprehensive geophysical evaluation of oil and gas in basins with depression group characteristics. 展开更多

Using the data of regional seismic network, this paper analyzes the current faulting behaviors of different segments of the Anninghe-Zemuhe fault zone, western Sichuan, and identifies the likely risky segments for potential large earthquakes. The authors map the probable asperities from the abnormally low b-value distribution, develop and employ a method for identifying current faulting behaviors of individual fault segment from the combinations of multiple seismicity parameter values, and make an effort to estimate the average recurrence intervals of character-istic earthquakes by using the parameters of magnitude-frequency relationship of the asperity segment. The result suggests that the studied fault zone contains 5 segments of different current faulting behaviors. Among them, the Mianning-Xichang segment of the Anninghe fault has been locked under high stress, its central part is probably an asperity with a relatively large scale. The Xichang-Puge segment of the Zemuhe fault displays very low seismicity under low stress. Both the locked segment and the low-seismicity segment can be outlined on the across-profile of relocated hypocenter depths. The Mianning-Xichang segment is identified to be the one with potential large earth-quake risk, for which the average recurrence interval between the latest M = 6.7 earthquake in 1952 and the next characteristic event is estimated to be 55 to 67 years, and the magnitude of the potential earthquake between 7.0 and 7.5. Also, it has been preliminarily suggested that for a certain fault segment, its faulting behaviors may change and evolve with time gradually. 展开更多

Diagnosis of a Moist Thermodynamic Advection Parameter in Heavy-Rainfall Events 被引量:11

A moist thermodynamic advection parameter, defined as an absolute value of the dot product of hori- zontal gradients of three-dimensional potential temperature advection and general potential temperature, is introduced to diagnose frontal heavy rainfall events in the north of China. It is shown that the parameter is closely related to observed 6-h accumulative surface rainfall and simulated cloud hydrometeors. Since the parameter is capable of describing the typical vertical structural characteristics of dynamic, thermodynamic and water vapor fields above a strong precipitation region near the front surface, it may serve as a physical tracker to detect precipitable weather systems near to a front. A tendency equation of the parameter was derived in Cartesian coordinates and calculated with the simulation output data of a heavy rainfall event. Results revealed that the advection of the parameter by the three-dimensional velocity vector, the covariance of potential temperature advection by local change of the velocity vector and general potential temperature, and the interaction between potential temperature advection and the source or sink of general potential temperature, accounted for local change in the parameter. This indicated that the parameter was determined by a combination of dynamic processes and cloud microphysical processes. 展开更多

The present study observed the effects of electro-acupuncturing Renzhong (DU 26) with different stimulation parameters on motor function recovery following middle artery occlusion injury in rats. Results showed an optimal stimulation parameter for Renzhong electro-acupuncture that was low frequency and mild current (2 Hz, 1 mA) significantly improved cortical excitability and conductive function, and promoted recovery in a rat model of motor function in middle artery occlusion. Frequency had a greater impact than current or interaction, and played a critical role in electro-acupuncture therapy. 展开更多

The temperature dependence of the ultrasonic parameters like ultrasonic velocities and Grüneisen parameters in americium monopnictides AmY (Y: N, P, As, Sb and Bi) have been studied for longitudinal and shear waves along , and crystallographic directions in the temperature range 100 K - 500 K. The second- and third- order elastic constants have also been evaluated for these monopnictides using Coulomb and Born-Mayer potential. The values of elastic constants are the highest for AmN. Hence the mechanical properties of AmN are better than other monopnictides AmP, AmAs, AmSb and AmBi. Ultrasonic velocity is found large for AmP. So the ultrasonic wave propagation will be much better than others in AmP. Obtained results are compared with available results of same type of materials. 展开更多

The potential energy curve (PEC) of HI(X^1∑^+) molecule is studied using the complete active space self-consistent field method followed by the highly accurate valence internally contracted multireference configuration interaction approach at the correlation-consistent basis sets, aug-cc-pV6Z for H and aug-cc-pV5Z-pp for I atom. Using the PEG of HI(X^1∑^+), the spectroscopic parameters of three isotopes, HI(X1E+), DI(X^1∑^+) and TI(X^1∑^+), are determined in the present work. For the HI(X^1∑^+), the values of Do, De, Re, ωe, ωeχe, αe and Be are 3.1551 eV, 3.2958 eV, 0.16183 nm, 2290.60 cm^-1, 40.0703 cm^-1, 0.1699 cm^-1 and 6.4373 cm^-1, respectively; for the DI (X^1∑^+), the values of D0, De, Re, ωe, ωeχe, αe and Be are 3.1965 eV, 3.2967 eV, 0.16183 nm, 1626.8 cm^-1, 20.8581 cm^-1, 0.0611 cm^-1 and 3.2468 cm^-1, respectively; for the TI (X^1∑^+), the values of Do, De, Re, ωe, ωeχe, αe and Be are of 3.2144 eV, 3.2967 eV, 0.16183 nm, 1334.43 cm^-1, 14.0765 cm^-1, 0.0338 cm^-1 and 2.1850 cm^-1, respectively. These results accord well with the available experimental results. With the PEC of HI(X^1∑^+) molecule obtained at present, a total of 19 vibrational states are predicted for the HI, 26 for the DI, and 32 for the TI, when the rotational quantum number J is equal to zero (J = 0). For each vibrational state, vibrational level G(v), inertial rotation constant By and centrifugal distortion constant Dv are determined when J = 0 for the first time, which are in excellent agreement with the experimental results. 展开更多

Six modern varieties of potatoes (Diamant, Cardinal, Granola, Felsina, Provento and Asterix) were investigated for their growth parameters and yield to determine their suitability for production in Bangladesh. Results indicate significant variations among the varieties in the yield and morphological characteristics and no difference in the number of main stems per hill. Among the six studied varieties, Asterix produced the greatest yield (29.60 t/ha), the greatest number of tubers per hill (13 tubers/hill), the largest percentage (84%) of medium sized tubers (28 - 55 mm diameter), and the greatest plant height (61.33 cm). Diamant performed second after Asterix with a yield of 28.33 t/ha, and a plant height of 59.0 cm. Felsina produced the lowest yield (25.13 t/ha) and the lowest number of tubers per hill (8.67 tubers/hill). In a farmers’ perception study, where farmers scored the yield and resistance to diseases and insect damage of the six varieties, from 1 to 6 (6 being the highest and 1 being the lowest), Asterix was the most preferred variety by farmers with scores of 6, 5.67 and 5.83 for yield, disease resistance and insect resistance respectively. Provento was the least preferred by farmers with a score of overall performance of 4. The results of this study indicate that Asterix and Diamant have the potential to be grown successfully by the farmers in Bangladesh. 展开更多

Cardiac electrical a... This work presents the dynamical modelling of cardiac electrical activity using bidomain approach. It focuses on the effects of variation of the ionic model parameters on cardiac wave propagation. Cardiac electrical activity is governed by partial differential equations coupled to a system of ordinary differential equations. Numerical simulation of these equations is computationally expensive due to their non-linearity and stiffness. Nevertheless, we adopted the bidomain model due to its ability to reflect the actual cardiac wave propagation. The derived bidomain equations coupled with FitzHugh-Nagumo’s ionic equations were time-discretized using explicit forward Euler method and space-discretized using 2-D network modelling to obtain linearized equations for transmembrane potential Vm, extracellular potential φe and gating variable w. We implemented the discretized model and performed simulation experiments to study the effects of variation of ionic model parameters on the propagation of electrical wave across the cardiac tissue. Time characteristic of transmembrane potential, Vm, in the normal cardiac tissue was obtained by setting the values of ionic model parameters to 0.2, 0.2, 0.7 and 0.8 for excitation rate constant ε1, recovery rate constant ε2, recovery decay constant γ and excitation decay constant β respectively. Changing the values of ε1, ε2 to 0.04 and 0.28 respectively, the obtained Vm showed a time dilation at 0.04 indicating cardiac arrhythmia but no significant change to Vm was observed at 0.28. Also, changing β to 0.3 and 1.1 and γ to 0.4 and 1.2 sequentially, there was no significant change to the time characteristic of Vm. The obtained results revealed that only decrease in ε1, ε2 impacted significantly on the cardiac wave propagation. 展开更多

用于获取锂离子电池正负极开路电势曲线的纽扣电池试验需要对电池进行破坏性拆解,而且试验过程中电池极易受到污染。为解决此问题,提出了一种利用伪参比电极获取锂离子电池正负极相对开路电势曲线的方法。该方法将锂电池外壳作为参比电... 用于获取锂离子电池正负极开路电势曲线的纽扣电池试验需要对电池进行破坏性拆解,而且试验过程中电池极易受到污染。为解决此问题,提出了一种利用伪参比电极获取锂离子电池正负极相对开路电势曲线的方法。该方法将锂电池外壳作为参比电极,通过小倍率充放电试验直接测得电极与外壳之间的相对开路电势。通过商用钛酸锂电池对所提方法进行试验验证,结果表明利用所提方法计算得到的电池电压和实际测量的电池电压的均方根误差仅为4.2 mV,且在同批次电池上辨识得到的热力学参数随电池容量衰减而减小。试验结果验证了伪参比电极法可在不破坏电池的情况下获取到可信度较高的相对开路电势曲线。 展开更多
