In order to achieve benefit maximization, the meta-synthesis management for the government-led urban complex construction project is studied. In order to combine theory and practice, several typical government-led urban complex construction project cases, such as Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center and Guangzhou International Financial City etc. are examined. These examples point to the feasibility of government-led meta-synthesis management and demonstrate the benefits that can be achieved through this model.展开更多
The development of creative cities in China currently shows strong government-led characteristics.Therefore,taking Beijing as an example,this paper discusses the government-led development model of cultural and creati...The development of creative cities in China currently shows strong government-led characteristics.Therefore,taking Beijing as an example,this paper discusses the government-led development model of cultural and creative industrial clusters.By analyzing the cultural and creative resources in Beijing,it explores the approaches initiated by the Municipal Government to promote cultural and creative industrial clusters.Based on the exploration of the industrial structure and spatial distribution of such clusters,this paper points out their role in urban renewal,industrial heritage utilization,New Countryside Construction,industrial park development,etc.,and further proposes measures for their future improvement.展开更多

The emergence of the "island phenomenon" should be attributed to a failure to give full play to the "invisible hand" of the market and the overreach or absence of government's "visible hand." Local governments can play an important role in eliminating this phenomenon by leading and guiding efforts to enhance improvements in innovation technology and transfers.展开更多
