Research on railway BIM platform framework based on homemade graphics engine

At present,BIM platforms rely on foreign software.Homemade software and industry applications are mostly secondary developments,which present stranglehold problems caused by interruptions to the software supply.To solve the problem,key technical research on the 3D integrated design of railway engineering was stuedied based on homemade graphics engines to propose an innovative railway BIM platform framework.The entire process was completed from the top-level design to the engineering verification of the platform.The co-designed mechanism of a"center model and link"hybrid mode was constructed,which solved the difficulties of data management and increment synchronization at a large scale,achieving teamwork among surveying and mapping,alignments,and bridges.The results of this study could provide strong support for the development of BIM software for a whole railway and all majors. 展开更多

Based on the theory of graphics, this paper developed an intelligent online drawing platform (IODP) with Java through analyzing the teaching character of descriptive geometry. IODP developed not only has a flexible drawing environment with the function of mutual drawing, but also is able to judge the drawing made by students and give feedback at the same time. Under commonly used light, the transformation matrix for parallel circles of different diameters casting shadows onto the same plane is identical. Using AutoCAD to get the shadow of a general object of revolution, it only needs to take a series of circles along the axis of symmetry and get their corresponding shadows of ellipses, drawing an envelope to cover all these silhouettes results in the required overall shadow. Then the discrete points of shadow contour line are projected back onto the original object surface, shadow on the object is obtained altogether. 展开更多

Firstly, make the isosceles triangular prism, cuboid, cylinder, cone, sphere, and the prism with tangent conic and curved triangle ends, the cuboid with tangent cylindrical and curved rectangle ends, the cylinder with tangent spherical and curved circular ends as the basic Boolean deference units to the primary cylinders, cones and spheres on symmetrical and some critical geometric conditions, forming a series of variant solid models. Secondly, make the deference units above as the basic union units to the main cylinders, cones, and spheres accordingly, forming another set of solid models. Thirdly, make the tangent ends of union units into oblique conic, cylindrical, or with revolved triangular pyramid, quarterly cylinder and annulus ends on sketch based features to the main cylinders, cones, and spheres repeatedly, thus forming still another set of solid models. It is expected that these derivative models be beneficial both in the structure design, hybrid modeling, and finite element analysis of engineering components and in comprehensive training of spatial configuration of engineering graphics. 展开更多

A GIS-Based 3D Simulation for Occupant Evacuation in a Building

This paper presents a computation... The evacuation efficiency of building plans is of obvious importance to the public safety. The complexity of building plans, however, makes it difficult for the efficiency evaluation. This paper presents a computational model AutoEscape, which can simulate the evacuation process for any given occupant distribution in buildings. Designed as an extensible multi-level structure, the model constructs the geometry level and occupant level and establishes the interactions between levels. The GIS-based environmental analysis is realized to automatically generate the geometric representation and formulate the cognition of agents. The multi-agent based technology is employed to simulate the crowd behaviors with autonomously acting individuals. A visualization component, which provides 3D free observations for the simulation process, is developed on the platform of OGRE and integrated into the system interface in form of ActiveX control. Finally, a case study has been conducted and the results have been compared with the results of an existing model to show the reliability and capacity of AutoEscape simulation. 展开更多
