This study explores the practical application of nursing management led by head nurses to enhance team communication and collaboration within clinical settings.By integrating leadership theories with nursing practice,this research adopts a qualitative methodology to examine the effects of strategic communication and teamwork enhancement initiatives.Through interviews,observations,and the analysis of case studies in various hospital departments,the study identifies key barriers to effective team communication and collaboration,including hierarchical structures,lack of standardized communication protocols,and insufficient training.Solutions implemented involve targeted communication skills training,the establishment of interdisciplinary teamwork protocols,and leadership workshops for head nurses.The outcomes indicate significant improvements in team efficiency,patient care quality,and staff satisfaction.This research underscores the importance of head nurses in fostering an environment conducive to open communication and collaborative practice,thereby advancing patient care and team performance.

Development of an Information-Based Leadership Evaluation Index System for School Management Teams:A Comprehensive Approach

In the context of educational informatization reform,there are many uncertain factors in the process of education development.To optimize the educational environment so that it can be effectively combined with information technology,teachers need to change their teaching ideas,strengthen the school’s own adaptability to informatization,and promote the development of informatization construction in schools.As a branch of information leadership,the management team should establish an evaluation index system for information leadership in order to ensure the construction of school informatization,so as to provide a boost for the integration of school resources and information technology.Based on the overview and connotation of information-based leadership of the management team,this paper explores the construction of an evaluation index system of information-based leadership of the school management team,aiming to provide references for the research of relevant personnel in the future.

Reconsideration of the clinical management of hepatic hemangioma

In this letter,we comment on the article by Zhou et al that was published in the recent issue of the World Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery.This article proposes a new clinical grading system based on a multidisciplinary team,which prompts us to rethink the clinical management of hepatic hemangioma.Hepatic hemangioma is the most common benign solid liver tumor.In general,follow-up and obser-vation for the vast majority of hepatic hemangioma is reasonable.For those pa-tients with symptoms and severe complications,surgical intervention is ne-cessary.Specific surgical indications,however,are still not clear.An effective grading system is helpful in further guiding the clinical management of hepatic hemangioma.In this article,we review the recent literature,summarize the sur-gical indications and treatment of hepatic hemangioma,and evaluate the potential of this new clinical grading system.

Team management in college English classroom teaching

With the rapid development and furthering of higher education, most Chinese colleges have carried out large-scale enrollment program, which is a necessary improvement toward higher education reform. Meanwhile, the increasing number of students has posed new problems and requirements for the old teaching method： the English teachers are facing more students and larger classes. In Zhejiang University, City College （ZUCC） the credit system and course selection has challenged the English teachers on a higher level. Every English teacher is facing classes of more than 40 students from various departments with sharp contrast among individual students in their English proficiency level and local background. How can every student actively participate in teaching activity so as to achieve better performance in English class？ Many teachers, therefore, have adopted team activity and cooperative teaching method to stimulate student participation in class. Inspired by the management theory to optimize student groups into independent teams, the concept of team construction and team management has been introduced into College English Teaching in ZUCC, which has given new meaning to team activity--it will become an interdisciplinary teaching method with its own feature.

Team Effectiveness in Patient Health Management: An Overview of Reviews

Background: The desire to improve the quality of health care for an aging population with multiple chronic diseases is fostering a rapid growth in interprofessional team care, supported by health professionals, governments, businesses and public institutions. However, the weight of evidence measuring the impact of team care on patient and health system outcomes has not, heretofore, been clear. To address this deficiency, we evaluated published evidence for the clinical effectiveness of team care within a chronic disease management context in a systematic overview. Methods: A search strategy was built for Medline using medical subject headings and other relevant keywords. After testing for performance, the search strategy was adapted to other databases (Cinhal, Cochrane, Embase, PsychInfo) using their specific descriptors. The searches were limited to reviews published between 1996 and 2011, in English and French languages. The results were analyzed by the number of studies favouring team intervention, based on the direction of effect and statistical significance for all reported outcomes. Results: Sixteen systematic and 7 narrative reviews were included. Diseases most frequently targeted were depression, followed by heart failure, diabetes and mental disorders. Effectiveness outcome measures most commonly used were clinical endpoints, resource utilization (e.g., emergency room visits, hospital admissions), costs, quality of life and medication adherence. Briefly, while improved clinical and resource utilization endpoints were commonly reported as positive outcomes, mixed directional results were often found among costs, medication adherence, mortality and patient satisfaction outcomes. Conclusions: We conclude that, although suggestive of some specific benefits, the overall weight of evidence for team care efficacy remains equivocal. Further studies that examine the causal interactions between multidisciplinary team care and clinical and economic outcomes of disease management are needed to more accurately assess its net program efficacy and population effectiveness.

Conflict management and perceived team cohesion of nurses in university hospitals

Objective Team cohesion is an essential component in a multidisciplinary team and can inspire the team to perform creative and complex works.This descriptive correlational study aimed to determine the styles of conflict management,levels of team cohesion,and the relationship between each style of conflict management and perceived team cohesion among nurses at affiliated hospitals of Dali University.Methods The sample consisted of 336 nurses from two university hospitals in Yunnan province,selected using the proportionate sampling method.Research instruments included demographic data form,Dutch Test for Conflict Handling(DUTCH)and Group Cohesion Scale.The Cronbach’s alpha coefficient for the five subscales of DUTCH were the following:forcing(0.83),yielding(0.81),avoiding(0.88),problem-solving(0.85),and compromising(0.84).The Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of Group Cohesion Scale was 0.83.Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Spearman’s rank-order correlations.Results The results of this study revealed that nurses were most likely to use avoiding conflict management style to deal with conflict situations,followed in rank order by problem-solving,compromising,forcing and yielding conflict management style.Nurses perceived team cohesion at a moderate level(x=4.43,SD=2.01).Additionally,conflict management associated with team cohesion.Conclusion The study findings revealed that avoiding was the conflict management style most frequently utilized by nurses,and nurses perceived team cohesion was at a moderate level.It is required to identify various strategies to improve team cohesion in multidisciplinary teams and develop a support system for nurses.

Knowledge Management Strategy for Handling Cyber Attacks in E-Commerce with Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT)

Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce) was created to help expand the market share network through the internet without the boundaries of space and time. However, behind all the benefits obtained, E-Commerce also raises the issue of consumer concerns about the responsibility for personal data that has been recorded and collected by E-Commerce companies. The personal data is in the form of consumer identity names, passwords, debit and credit card numbers, conversations in email, as well as information related to consumer requests. In Indonesia, cyber attacks have occurred several times against 3 major E-Commerce companies in Indonesia. In 2019, users’ personal data in the form of email addresses, telephone numbers, and residential addresses were sold on the deep web at Bukalapak and Tokopedia. Even though E-Commerce affected by the cyber attack already has a Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) by recruiting various security engineers, both defense and attack, this system still has a weakness, namely that the CSIRT operates in the aspect of handling and experimenting with defense, not yet on how to store data and prepare for forensics. CSIRT will do the same thing again, and so on. This is called an iterative procedure, one day the attack will come back and only be done with technical handling. Previous research has succeeded in revealing that organizations that have Knowledge Management (KM), the organization has succeeded in reducing costs up to four times from the original without using KM in the cyber security operations. The author provides a solution to create a knowledge management strategy for handling cyber incidents in CSIRT E-Commerce in Indonesia. This research resulted in 4 KM Processes and 2 KM Enablers which were then translated into concrete actions. The KM Processes are Knowledge Creation, Knowledge Storing, Knowledge Sharing, and Knowledge Utilizing. While the KM Enabler is Technology Infrastructure and People Competency.

Nursing team management and construction from the perspective of psychological contract

The psychological contract is a set of personal beliefs about the reciprocal obligations and rights established in an exchange relationship,and high-level fulfillment of psychological contract helps the development of a team.This study summarizes the concept and theoretical basis of psychological contract,the influencing factors and intervention status of nurse psychological contract,and constructs a psychological contract intervention model to provide reference and reference for better construction and management of nursing teams.

Distress management in cancer patients:Guideline implementation based on CAN-IMPLEMENT

Objective:To standardize the distress management of gastric cancer patients receiving chemotherapy,the adapted Cancer-related Distress Management Guidelines were implemented in nursing practice among gastric cancer patients receiving chemotherapy based on A Guideline Adaptation and Implementation Planning Resource(CAN-IMPLEMENT).Methods:Based on the theoretical framework of CAN-IMPLEMENT,A multidisciplinary team was established,barriers and facilitators obstacles of guidelines implementation in medical oncology units were assessed,corresponding solutions were formulated,the guidelines implementation process was monitored,and implementation results were evaluated.Results:The multidisciplinary team developed review criteria,standardized work paths,assessment tools,training manuals for healthcare professionals,education manuals for patients and their caregivers.After guidelines implementation,the completion rate of the distress management record came up to 97.9%(189/193).From September 2017 to December 2018,the compliance of medical staff on most items in the audit checklist was improved,ranging from 57.1%(100/175)to 100.0%(193/193).The positive distress rate of gastric cancer patients receiving chemotherapy was decreased from 22.7%(32/141)to 9.3%(18/193)(P<0.05),and the Median(range)of the distress score declined from 2(0e9)to 0(0e7)(P<0.001).Conclusions:The implementation of guidelines based on CAN-IMPLEMENT promotes the establishment of a distress management system in the medical oncology units.The review standards,standardized work paths,and evaluation tools for distress in cancer patients formulated by the multidisciplinary team had clinical applicability and effectiveness.Quality control in the practice of distress management was effective.The compliance of healthcare professionals with distress management was improved.The distress of gastric cancer patients receiving chemotherapy was alleviated effectively.

Research of Conflict Situation Management in Medical Organizations

Introduction: Conflicts are as natural a phenomenon in society as the seasons. It is difficult for a person to avoid them, but he can choose to take part in them or not. In any organization, including medical, this is a normal phenomenon inherent in the work of the workforce. The objective of the study was conflicts in the field of healthcare in the system “medical personnel of a healthcare institution, patients and relatives of patients”. Materials and Methods: The study of conflict in the team was conducted by medical and sociological methods using an anonymous questionnaire developed by us. Results: A study was conducted aimed at identifying the socio-psychological causes of conflicts and methods for their resolution in the organization of health care using the example of medical personnel. Conclusions: Conflict is an integral part of the functioning of any organization. The study confirmed the hypothesis that the conflict management process will be more effective when changing organizational processes as a whole.

Integrating Project Management, Software Development, and Knowledge Management Models: A Case Study in a Public ICT Services Organization

In project-based organizations knowledge is a critical resource used to develop and deliver products and services with a high level of quality. Therefore, a systematic and sustainable process is necessary to coordinate knowledge management, project management and product lifecycle. This scenario predominates in companies focused on the creation and maintenance of information systems. This article presents an exploratory study based on a framework that integrates cognitive, managerial, and operational processes in a public Brazilian organization that provides services in the area of information and communications technology, focusing on the construction and maintenance of information systems. Those processes are operationalized by three management models considering knowledge, project, and software development processes. Our proposal aims to understand the relationships between those three management models and their influence on the software development process in the organization under study. Our premise is based on the principle that cognitive management, project management, and software development management must be integrated to fulfill the demands of product development and service provision. The research data was composed of registers of working hours spent on software development and maintenance projects involving 244 people allocated to 5064 projects in the period from 2007 to 2013. The study resulted in the identification of the relationships among the three management models adopted by the organization, with emphasis on knowledge management activities, which were not directly identified, making it difficult to account for and measure them. We established a set of activities connected to each one of the knowledge management model phases. Since those activities were not visible before, our approach contributed to build a systematic process to register and relate activities linked to the dimensions of cognitive processes, project management, and software construction.

As China's manufacturing industry is advancing the upgrading of its industrial structure, this paper discusses the influence of power imbalance in the top management team on enterprises' management efficiency, and also discusses, on such a basis, the contextual effect of expected performance feedback and joint contextual effect of expected performance feedback and product market competition in combination with the organizational behavior theory and principal-agent theory.

TeamSTEPPS模式在消化内镜室综合管理中的应用效果

目的探讨提高医疗质量与患者安全的团队策略和工具包(TeamSTEPPS)模式在消化内镜室综合管理中的应用效果。方法选取2021年6月至2022年2月河南省直第三人民医院消化内镜室收治的118例肠息肉患者作为对照组,接受常规管理;选取2022年3—9月河南省直第三人民医院消化内镜室收治的126例肠息肉患者作为研究组,接受TeamSTEPPS模式综合管理。对比两组护理风险、不良事件发生率、护理质量、患者满意度。结果两组管理后护理风险评分均高于管理前(P<0.05),研究组管理后急救药品、消毒隔离、护理安全、仪器使用以及岗位安全等护理风险评分高于对照组(P<0.05);研究组不良事件发生率低于对照组(P<0.05);两组管理后护理质量评分高于管理前(P<0.05),管理后,相较于对照组,研究组技能操作、专科护理、病房护理、基础护理、消毒护理及分级护理评分均较高(P<0.05);研究组患者对服务态度、手术护理、专业素质等护理满意度高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论TeamSTEPPS模式下综合管理有助于减少消化内镜室护理不良事件发生,提高护理质量与患者对护理满意度。

Team STEPPS模型在“ICU-病房”肺部延伸护理中的应用效果评价

目的:评价基于提高医疗质量和患者安全的团队策略和工具包(Team Strategies and Tools to Enhance Performance and Patient Safety,Team STEPPS)构建的"ICU-病房"肺部延伸护理模式的应用效果。方法:回顾性选取2016年1-12月符合纳入标准的术后患者为对照组(98例),给予常规护理。纳入2017年1-12月符合纳入标准的术后患者为实验组(135例),运用基于Team STEPPS模型构建的"ICU-病房"肺部延伸护理模式。结果:实验组患者非计划重返ICU率、因肺部原因重返ICU率均低于对照组,患者对护理工作满意度评分高于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:运用基于Team STEPPS模型构建的"ICU-病房"肺部延伸护理模式可降低患者重返ICU率,提高患者满意度。

TeamSTEPPS模式在手术室护理人员安全管理中的应用

目的 探讨提高医疗质量与患者安全的团队策略和工具包(TeamSTEPPS)在手术室护理人员安全管理中的应用效果.方法 选取某三甲医院手术室50名护理人员作为研究对象,2019年1月1日—4月30日实施常规培训,2019年5月1日—8月31日在常规培训基础上增加TeamSTEPPS培训模式;比较培训前后手术室护理人员的安全态度、护理不良事件上报态度以及手术室不良事件发生率.结果 培训后护理人员SAQ评分、不良事件上报态度和不良事件发生率均优于培训前(P<0.05).结论 对手术室护理人员实施TeamSTEPPS课程培训,能够提高护理人员的安全意识,改善护理安全管理水平,降低护理不良事件发生率.

县域医共体下家庭医生团队知识共享现状及影响因素研究

背景县域医共体下家庭医生团队知识共享是县乡村三级机构之间互动的重要方式,对于提升区域医疗卫生服务质量、改善居民健康水平等起重要作用。目的了解县域医共体下家庭医生团队的知识共享现状,探讨其影响因素,为促进家庭医生团队内部知识管理和能力提升提供科学依据。方法于2022年10—12月,采用方便抽样法在湖北省抽取2个县域医共体,经多阶段抽样选取医共体下的381个家庭医生团队为研究对象。采用自编团队知识共享调查问卷调查团队的知识共享水平,包括显性知识共享、隐性知识共享两个维度。采用多元线性逐步回归分析探讨家庭医生团队知识共享的影响因素。结果县域医共体下家庭医生团队知识共享总得分为(27.84±3.84)分,显性知识共享、隐性知识共享维度的平均条目水平得分分别为(5.51±0.79)、(5.61±0.77)分。多元线性逐步回归分析结果显示,学历异质性指数、团队长作用、团队沟通强度、平台载体使用水平、团队活动强度、成员学习积极性是县域医共体下家庭医生团队知识共享总得分的影响因素(P<0.05)。结论县域医共体下家庭医生团队内部知识共享处于良好水平,但仍有提升空间。建议通过增加家庭医生团队活动频次,提高团队沟通能力,采取相关激励措施,拓展知识共享渠道等促进家庭医生团队成员知识共享。
