An Improved Deadbeat Predictive Current Control Method for SPMSM Drives with a Novel Adaptive Disturbance Observer

To improve the dynamic performance of conventional deadbeat predictive current control(DPCC)under parameter mismatch,especially eliminate the current overshoot and oscillation during torque mutation,it is necessary to enhance the robustness of DPCC against various working conditions.However,the disturbance from parameter mismatch can deteriorate the dynamic performance.To deal with the above problem,firstly,traditional DPCC and the parameter sensitivity of DPCC are introduced and analyzed.Secondly,an extended state observer(ESO)combined with DPCC method is proposed,which can observe and suppress the disturbance due to various parameter mismatch.Thirdly,to improve the accuracy and stability of ESO,an adaptive extended state observer(AESO)using fuzzy controller based on ESO,is presented,and combined with DPCC method.The improved DPCC-AESO can switch the value of gain coefficients with fuzzy control,accelerating the current response speed and avoid the overshoot and oscillation,which improves the robustness and stability performance of SPMSM.Finally,the three methods,as well as conventional DPCC method,DPCC-ESO method,DPCC-AESO method,are comparatively analyzed in this paper.The effectiveness of the proposed two methods are verified by simulation and experimental results. 展开更多

In this paper, a model predictive control(MPC)framework is proposed for finite-time stabilization of linear and nonlinear discrete-time systems subject to state and control constraints. The proposed MPC framework guarantees the finite-time convergence property by assigning the control horizon equal to the dimension of the overall system, and only penalizing the terminal cost in the optimization, where the stage costs are not penalized explicitly. A terminal inequality constraint is added to guarantee the feasibility and stability of the closed-loop system.Initial feasibility can be improved via augmentation. The finite-time convergence of the proposed MPC is proved theoretically,and is supported by simulation examples. 展开更多

The author has obtained satisfactory results using this new MPPT control method. This paper investigates the application of the new MPPT control method for a PCS (power conditioning system) in a grid-connected type PV power generation system. The proposed method overcame the flaws of loss increase, efficiency reduce and cost increase which were caused by damping resistance in LCL type grid-connected inverter, the system efficiency and power supply quality of the output were improved. This impact is not generic for any network, but it may manifest itself either positively or negatively, depending on the grid configuration, interface control modes, operation mode, and load profile. Grid-connected PV systems have three control options of the local voltage controller of the interface DC-AC converter. These control modes are Power Factor control, voltage control, and Droop Voltage control. This paper aims at evaluating and comparing the impacts of those control modes on the grid power flow. A set of evaluation criteria and indices is defined and mathematically formulated. Based on the requirements of the used program (Power Factory Dig Silent V14.1.3), a computation plan (algorithm) has been proposed. The algorithm has been applied to a typical weak network and a wide range of simulations has been carried out. Simulation results have been thoroughly discussed and important findings have been concluded. 展开更多

The back stage network side inverter adopts the method of deadbeat control and the grid power factor turns to be 1. The maximum power point tracking is realized, and the grid current has the same frequency and phase with the grid voltage through simulation. Therefore, efficiency of the solar module is improved and the sine AC wave of the inverter control circuit is high-quality. Each converter can achieve relatively independent function in the two-level PV power system by the method of Matlab/Simulink software simulation. Nowadays,the single state inverter for the grid-connected photovoltaic(PV)systems is becoming more and more popular as they can reduce circuit complexity resulting in less power losses of the inverter.This paper focuses on the use of model predictive control(MPC)to control a 3-phase and 2-level single-state grid-connected inverter in order to regulate the PV maximum power point(MPP).The algorithm of MPC scheme was done to measure the simultaneous current signal including predicting the next sampling current flow.The reference current(Id∗)was used to control the distribution of electrical power from the solar cell to the grid.To be able to control the maximum power point tracking(MPPT)when the sunlight suddenly changes,so that a developing MPPT based on estimation current perturbation and observation(ECP&O-MPPT)technique was used to control the reference current.This concept was experimented by using MATLAB/Simulink software package.The proposed technique was tested and compared with the old technique.The simulation results showed that the developed MPPT technique can track the MPP faster when the light changes rapidly under 1,000W/m2,25℃ standard climatic conditions.The MPPT time was 0.015 s.The total harmonic distortion(THD)was 2.17%and the power factor was 1. 展开更多

In the process of grid-connected photovoltaic power generation,there are high requirements for the quality of the power that the inverter breaks into the grid.In this work,to improve the power quality of the grid-connected inverter into the grid,and the output of the system can meet the grid-connected requirements more quickly and accurately,we exhibit an approach toward establishing a mixed logical dynamical(MLD)model where logic variables were introduced to switch dynamics of the single-phase photovoltaic inverters.Besides,based on the model,our recent efforts in studying the finite control set model predictive control(FCS-MPC)and devising the output current full state observer are exciting for several advantages,including effectively avoiding the problem of the mixed-integer quadratic programming(MIQP),lowering the THD value of the output current of the inverter circuit,improving the quality of the power that the inverter breaks into the grid,and realizing the current output and the grid voltage same frequency and phase to meet grid connection requirements.Finally,the effectiveness of the mentioned methods is verified by MATLAB/Simulink simulation. 展开更多

A Robust Deadbeat Control Method for UPS Inverters

The parametric imprecision can greatly harm the stability of the system, which restricts the application. A novel robust deadbeat control method is proposed in this paper to deal with the problem. In the proposed control method, a proportional element is added to the traditional deadbeat control in order to improve the robustness to parametric imprecision. To eliminate the error between output voltage and voltage reference caused by environmental noise and parametric deviation, a model reference adaptive regulator is also added to the control method. A 1kVA prototype is built based on DSP. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the robustness for parametric variation of the proposed method is much better than the traditional deadbeat control. The system can remain stable even when the systemic parameters have a large deviation from calculating parameters. The system has small static error and fast dynamic response with the new control method. This method is easy to realize in DSP and is suitable for full digital realization of UPS. 展开更多

针对双向隔离型AC-DC矩阵变换器采用传统双闭环控制策略存在的控制参数多、整定困难等问题,提出了一种基于无差拍预测算法的高动态电流控制策略,通过引入无差拍预测算法对网侧电流进行控制,以减少控制器参数,消除数字控制时延。考虑到... 针对双向隔离型AC-DC矩阵变换器采用传统双闭环控制策略存在的控制参数多、整定困难等问题,提出了一种基于无差拍预测算法的高动态电流控制策略,通过引入无差拍预测算法对网侧电流进行控制,以减少控制器参数,消除数字控制时延。考虑到算法中电压电流检测量众多,故采用输入电压观测器以降低检测成本,减小采样误差的影响。变换器采用后级单重移相的调制方法来协调配合无差拍预测算法,其中参考输入电流指令与移相角为双射函数关系,简单易实现。仿真和实验结果表明:采用所提控制策略可以实现网侧电流正弦,功率因数接近于1;直流侧电压稳定,电流纹波率小于1%;直流电流在参考值突变时,跟踪快速且无超调、无振荡;同时,在变换器功率正向传输、反向传输以及正反向切换过程中,采用所提控制策略相比于传统的双闭环控制策略,电流动态调节时间分别缩短了69%、85%、67%。由此证明所提控制策略可以保证变换器良好的输入输出性能,并且相比于传统的双闭环控制策略在切换过程中动态性能得到显著提升。 展开更多

三相电流源型PWM整流器运行在电网电压不平衡情况下,引起直流侧及网侧电流存在大量低次谐波,势必对后级变换器供电稳定性、安全性等存在不利影响。针对该问题,首先建立整流器数学模型,推导出不平衡电网下直流侧电压和网侧电流表达式,揭... 三相电流源型PWM整流器运行在电网电压不平衡情况下,引起直流侧及网侧电流存在大量低次谐波,势必对后级变换器供电稳定性、安全性等存在不利影响。针对该问题,首先建立整流器数学模型,推导出不平衡电网下直流侧电压和网侧电流表达式,揭示出系统直流侧和网侧电流产生低次谐波的机理。其次,根据瞬时功率理论设计内环电流参考指令,并利用无差拍控制实现网侧电流对参考电流的跟踪。然而传统无差拍控制存在延时问题,将影响网侧电流的跟随性能,造成电能质量下降。为解决该问题,提出了网侧电流内环改进型无差拍控制,利用两步预测法补偿系统延时。最后,基于Matlab/Simulink平台搭建仿真模型,验证所提控制策略的正确性与有效性。结果表明,所提方法能有效抑制直流侧和网侧电流低次谐波,实现网侧电流正弦化和直流侧电压稳定输出。 展开更多

为提高表贴式永磁同步电机(Surface permanent magnet synchronous motor,SPMSM)在参数变化和外部扰动下的鲁棒性,提出一种基于扩张状态观测器的无模型快速超螺旋滑模预测控制方法。首先,建立SPMSM参数摄动时的新型超局部模型。其次,采... 为提高表贴式永磁同步电机(Surface permanent magnet synchronous motor,SPMSM)在参数变化和外部扰动下的鲁棒性,提出一种基于扩张状态观测器的无模型快速超螺旋滑模预测控制方法。首先,建立SPMSM参数摄动时的新型超局部模型。其次,采用改进的超螺旋算法作为辅助控制率设计转速环无模型超螺旋滑模反馈控制器,同时利用复合的扩张扰动观测器估计超局部模型中的未知部分,并通过Lyapunov稳定性理论证明了控制器和观测器的稳定性。电流环应用无差拍电流预测控制策略,结合扩张状态观测器对扰动量进一步估计并进行前馈补偿,使电流环具有更好的动态响应和更小的谐波分量。仿真试验结果表明,所提方法可有效提高系统响应速度,改善SPMSM在发生参数漂移和外部扰动下的暂稳态性能,降低电流总谐波畸变率,提升系统鲁棒性和抗干扰性能。 展开更多
