Objective To explore the possible preventive mechanism of Hunan expert group recommended Chinese medicine prescription of No.2(Pre-No.2)against coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)by network pharmacology method.Methods The target proteins of effective components and active compounds in Pre-No.2 were screened by searching the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP).A component-target-disease interaction network of Pre-No.2 was constructed by Cytoscape 3.7.2,gene ontology(GO)analysis,and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes(KEGG)analysis of target protein pathway by DAVID.Results A total of 163 compounds and 278 target protein targets in Pre-No.2 were collected from the TCMSP database.Kaempferol,wogonin,7-methoxy-2-methyl isoflavone,formononetin,isorhamnetin,and licochalcone A were the most frequent targets in the regulatory network.GO enrichment analysis showed that Pre-No.2 regulated response to virus,viral processes,humoral immune responses,defense responses to virus and viral entry into host cells.KEGG enrichment analysis showed that the formula regulated the NF-κB signaling pathway,B cell receptor signaling pathway,viral carcinogenesis,T cell signaling pathway and FcγR-mediated phagocytosis signaling pathway.Conclusions Pre-No.2 may play a preventive role against COVID-19 through regulation of the Toll-like signaling,T cell signaling,B cell signaling and other signaling pathways.It may regulate the immune system to protect against anti-influenza virus. 展开更多

This paper presents the key optimization techniques for an efficient accelerator implementation in an image encoder IP core design for real-time Joint Photographic Experts Group Lossless(JPEG-LS) encoding.Pipeline architecture and accelerator elements have been utilized to enhance the throughput capability.Improved parameters mapping schemes and resource sharing have been adopted for the purpose of low complexity and small chip die area.Module-level and fine-grained gating measures have been used to achieve a low-power implementation.It has been proved that these hardware-oriented optimization techniques make the encoder meet the requirements of the IP core implementation.The proposed optimization techniques have been verified in the implementation of the JPEG-LS encoder IP,and then validated in a real wireless endoscope system. 展开更多

This paper proposes a specific compression algorithm for cash images. First, according to cash image characteristics and standard JPEG (joint photographic experts group) compression, image re-ordering techniques are analyzed, and the method of modifying some blocks into single color blocks is adopted. For a very long time video processing dealt exclusively with fixed-rate sequences of rectangular shaped images. However, interest has been recently moving toward a more flexible concept in which the subject of the processing and encoding operations is a set of visual elements organized in both time and space in a flexible and arbitrarily complex way. The moving picture experts group (MPEG- 4) standard supports this concept and its verification model (VM) encoder has adopted scalable rate control (SRC) as the rate control scheme, which is based on the spatial domain and compatible with constant bit rate (CBR) and variable bit rate (VBR). In this paper,a new rate control algorithm based on the DCT domain instead of the pixel domain is presented. More-(over), macroblock level rate control scheme to compute the quantization step for each macroblock has been adopted. The experimental results show that the new algorithm can achieve a much better result than the original one in both peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and the coding bits, and that the new algorithm is more flexible than test model 5 (TM5) rate control algorithm. 展开更多

The experiment results prove that these methods have gained a better perceptual quality of a reconstructed image and a lower bit rate. This paper proposes a thorough scheme, by virtue of camera zooming descriptor with two-level threshold, to automatically retrieve close-ups directly from moving picture experts group (MPEG) compressed videos based on camera motion analysis. A new algorithm for fast camera motion estimation in compressed domain is presented. In the retrieval process, camera-motion-based semantic retrieval is built. To improve the coverage of the proposed scheme, close-up retrieval in all kinds of videos is investigated. Extensive experiments illustrate that the proposed scheme provides promising retrieval results under real-time and automatic application scenario. 展开更多

Joint Photographic Experts Group(JPEG)format is extensively used for images in many practical applications due to its excellent compression ratio and satisfactory image quality.Considering compelling concerns about the invasion of privacy,this paper proposes an effective reversible data hiding scheme for encrypted JPEG bitstreams,to provide security and privacy for both secret messages and valuable carriers.First,a format-compatibility and file size preserving encryption algorithm is applied to encipher the plaintext JPEG image into a noise-like version.Then,we present an effective reversible data hiding scheme in encrypted JPEG bitstreams using adaptive RZL rotation,where the secret messages are concealed with the sequence of RZL pairs.When the authorized user receives the marked encrypted JPEG bitstreams,the error-free extraction of secret messages and the lossless recovery of the original plaintext JPEG image can be accomplished separately.Extensive experiments are conducted to show that,compared to some state-of-the-art schemes,the proposed scheme has a superior performance in terms of embedding capacity,while keeping file size preservation and format compatibility. 展开更多

Information and communications technology has exponentially grown in recent years and has played a significant role in organizational development.The main purpose of this study was to collect the data needed for the introduction of a new tool for assessing e-readiness in the Agricultural Organization of Guilan Province,Iran.The study population includes agricultural organization experts and researchers who were familiar with the concepts of IT and the organization status.Based on the relevant literature review,the e-readiness indicators which had theoretically been proposed and practically used by researchers over the past 10 years were identified.Then some parameters were introduced for examination and prioritization.These indicators represented the spatial and temporal factors as well as the characteristics of the condition of the Agricultural Organization of Guilan Province.The proposed structural model included seven factors(Infrastructural,Human,Educational,Government,Management,Socio-cultural and Legal)and 44 indicators.After that,based on the experts’points of view,the coefficient of significance for each of the selected factors and indicators was measured using Minkowski fuzzy screening method.The results obtained from structured questionnaires show that all of the seven main factors and 40 indicators out of 44 indicators were appropriate for assessing electronic readiness and the final model of assessing e-readiness.Furthermore,the results indicated that the most important factor in assessing e-readiness is the human factor and then stand other factors such as educational,infrastructural,management,government,legal and socio-cultural. 展开更多

Adaptive Delayed Acknowledgement Algorithm for MPEG-4 Traffic in UWB Networks

Although ultra-wideband transmission rates are very high in the physical layer, the bandwidth utilization efficiency is very low in the medium access control (MAC) layer. The bandwidth utilization efficiency can be improved and the quality of service for delay-sensitive variable bit rate traffic such as high rate motion picture experts group (MPEG)-4 traffic can be guaranteed by a simple and efficient algorithm that dynamically sets the burst size of the delayed-acknowledgement (Dly-ACK) based on the I EEE 802.15.3 standard. The burst size was adjusted in response to the wireless channel quality. Furthermore, the burst size was bounded by a maximum acknowledgement burst size setting and the remaining number of un-received blocks of a current supra-block. Simulation results show that the method achieves significant performance enhancement in the job failure rate and throughput compared to immediate-acknowledgement (Imm-ACK) and other fixed burst size Dly-ACK schemes. This algorithm can also be applied in generalized time division multiple access (TDMA) systems by using the block acknowledgement mechanism for delay sensitive traffic. 展开更多
